日の出はとてもきれいでした☆
Reviewed by: さーちゃん, 2017/02/011月18日でしたが、日の出前の山頂は、風が強くとても寒かったです。。が、雲海の向こうから太陽がようやく顔を出したときは、きれいでとても感動しました。日の出スポットは混雑していたので、30分以上前からバスから出て寒い中待っていました。風よけを意識して防寒対策しておくと良いと思いました。

The driver was great, full of knowledge and passed it freely. Its nice to know some the history of Maui..

Amazing!!!!

Once you get up to the summit and watch that breathtaking sunrise and view, you will not regret it. Our tour guide,Gary was fantastic.He was very knowledgeable. The morning ended with a delicious breakfast. Glad we didn't miss this experience!

きれいだった！！
Reviewed by: カイト, 2016/11/03夫婦で参加しました。20人ほどで他は全員外国人でした。ガイドさんは英語で、ユーモアを交えて楽しく丁寧にガイドしてくれていました。こちらのリスニング力が低く、理解できないことも多かったですが、大きな問題はありませんでした。サンライズは綺麗に拝めて感動しました。

An Awesome Day!
Reviewed by: DLG - Norman, OK, 2016/10/26This was an amazing adventure to take! The only thing I would want to change and suggest is to bring a cushion. The seats on the bus were extremely uncomfortable. Also, I wished we would have stopped at more waterfalls, seemed to rush through them pretty quickly, but I figured they have a set schedule and placement with all the other tours. It might be better to be different and step out of the norm of all the other charters? Anyway, I did enjoy the driver Larry, he was so knowledgeable and sometimes funny!

The guide was excellent and cheerful from the start at 2 am! Breakfast is good too and you are awake for it. Recommend you do this one when you visit Maui.

Excellent Guide
Reviewed by: Alex Bruce, 2016/09/17The weather was pretty bad and it meant we didn't get to swim in the pools or take the backside road back from Hana however, our driver Wayne was superb and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
My wife and I were kept entertained by his stories and information about the local cultures, plants, animals and food for the entire journey and despite it raining heavily and being very foggy, we always felt safe and in good hands.
The only downside was the lunch at the Trevasa hotel, it was very poor quality and despite being a buffet, you were ushered out after a single plate. I would recommend you select the non lunch option and take your own food!

Amazing! Truly unforgettable!

She was one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable individuals I have ever encountered. Being in the people business myself it was a breath of fresh air to find someone like her that takes pride in her job and her island. The information that she gave made the tour not just amazing for the scenery, it was very educational and personal. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who visits Maui and I would highly recommend Peaches! Thank you for all that you do and making this a trip to remember!

Late pick up

Oh our driver was on his way. We called again after 7. Same response and no apologies. We called and canceled . The driver didn't show up until 7:40!!! We did get our money back.

Reviewed by: JIRU, 2016/07/06サンライズツアーで日本語ガイドのツアーを探しましたが見つからず、まぁ英語ガイドでも見られるものは一緒！と思ってこのツアーに参加しました。
現地に着いてからのリコンファームからドキドキでしたが、ベルトラさんの「英語でのリコンファームの仕方」をまるまるそっくり自分に置き換えて伝え、無事にクリアできました！
早朝2:20ピックアップで混載バスに乗りガイドさんのたぶんハワイの歴史と思われる話を聞きながら山頂に向かいました。同乗の外人さんたちはびっくりするはどの薄着でしたが、高度が上がるにつれて着膨れしていく方もいました。
山頂付近のビジターセンターまで上がりバスを降りるとガイドさんもびっくりするほどの強い風で吹き飛ばされるほどでした。息を吸うのもやっとな感じです。そんな中ビューポイントまでやってきてそこで待機。じーっと寒さと風に耐えながら真っ暗な中待っているとオレンジ色の光がうっすらさしてきます。本当にゆっくりゆっくり日が昇っていき雲を染めていきます。本当に今までに見たことのない光景です。太陽の光が差した瞬間現地の方達が歌い始めます。本当に神聖な荘厳な空気があたりに満ちました。感動的な体験で一生忘れないと思います。
サンライズを見た後は山頂まで行き、そこからの展望を楽しみました。360度の大パノラマです。東京の◯◯ツリーから見る建物のパノラマでなく、自然のパノラマにも感動！高山植物の銀剣草も20年に1度しか花を咲かせないそうですがたーくさん咲いていました。
英語がもっとわかればもっとよかったかもしれないけれど、なんとなくわかる程度でも大丈夫。また今度マウイに行った時には是非参加しようと思いました。

Reviewed by: Gena Driver, 2016/06/21Our tour guide,Rory,was awesome. He was entertaining and knowledgeable. I felt safe with him driving(if you drive to Haleakala or The Road to Hana, you know why this one is important. Just remember it is very cold
At the summit and you will be outside in it standing in one spot for over an hour. I wasn't prepared for 25 degree wind chills in Hawaii in June.

いい意味で予想を裏切ってくれます
Reviewed by: Shima, 2016/05/21マウイ島到着後、曇り時々雨が続いた為不安が募りましたが、山頂に近づくにつれ満点の星空！朝日もしっかりと見ることができ、不安を一掃してくれました！非常によい体験でした！
私達はカフルイ空港周辺のマウイシーサイドホテルに宿泊していたので、3:10にピックアップ予定。他の地域より遅めで助かりました。
3:20になっても迎えがこず、不安になりホテルフロントから電話をかけましたが繋がりません。そうこうしているうちにお迎えのバスが到着。悪びれる様子はなく、陽気に迎えてくれます。
他の方の口コミにもありますが、英語ガイドの方がテンション高く、冗談を交えつつ大盛り上がりのバス内。もっと英語がわかればと後悔もしますが、時々日本語も交えて絡んでくれます。
山の中腹過ぎたあたりですでに雲の上なのか、星空が見え、とても綺麗でした。
バスが駐車場に到着したら朝ごはんのリクエストを聞かれ、準備をして車を降ります。
防寒着無しのツアーでしたので、古着を沢山持って行き寒さを凌ぎます。
私は上はウィンドブレーカー、フリース、セーター2枚、インナー、下はレギンス2枚にパンツ、手袋と帽子、ホッカイロを完備。それくらいないと寒いです。
駐車場から少し歩いたところでひたすら日の出を待ちます。かなりの人数の観光客の方がいらっしゃり、個人で来てる方も沢山いるようでした。ただ相当慣れてる方でないと夜道の運転を個人でするのは難しいと思います。
言うまでもなく、朝日がとても綺麗でしたが、朝の光が映る雲や空も本当に綺麗で感激しました。
朝日を堪能後はバスに戻り、暖かいコーヒーとペストリーを頂きブレイク。少し車を移動させ頂上へいき、景色を眺めたり、高地植物をみたり。
車に戻ると歴史についてお話ししてくれるのですが、気がついたら爆睡しておりました。
朝食会場のゴルフ場に着くと、先ほどまで着ていた冬服を全て脱ぎ、半袖で姿に。気温差が激しくびっくりします。
ツアー客全員でテーブルを囲い朝ごはん。
フルーツ・ヨーグルトプレート、ハッシュドポテト、パンケーキなどから選べます。
ゴルフ場は緑が綺麗でとても気持ちよかったです。
ホテルには11;00頃到着。
時間を有効活用でき、とてもよい旅でした！

ダウンコートは持参しました。やっぱり山頂は寒いです。
英語のガイドさんでしたが大丈夫でした。
サンセットツアーより時間を有効に使えます。
ゴルフ場での朝食もおいしかったです。

Very disappointing
Reviewed by: Nancy, 2016/04/30Although the bus driver was very knowledgeable, this trip did not meet our expectations. The young adults on the trip were anticipating a dip in one of the Seven Pools only to find they were closed as was the trail leading up to see 5 of the seven. No mention of this was made until we were driving in. We would not have taken this excursion. Also, the bus driver talked 100% of the time and coughed about 50%. Not an enjoyable day as I am now sick.

Beware of your chances
Reviewed by: Gina, 2016/04/29It was a total disaster for us as we had to endure extreme cold, gusty wind, rain and sleet for over an hour and end up seeing nothing. We were warned of the low temperature at the top of the mountains but was totally unprepared for how COLD it actually felt. I feel lucky that we didn't fell sick for the rest of the trip. I wish the tour company would show statistics of how often this happens so people can weigh their chances.

Good tour. Terrible pick up!
Reviewed by: Toby, 2016/04/19First off our tour guide and driver Peaches was excellent. The view from Haleakala didn't disappoint and the breakfast provided was tasty with a good range of choices. That being said the pick up was a complete nightmare. We waited for 60 minutes from 2:30am ( our scheduled pick up) until 3:30 am awaiting a pick up. We did not receive any word from the tour operator of the late running of the pick up service. The instructions on the ticket told us to call in if the pick up was 10 mins late, which we did. Guess what both the numbers on the ticket went straight to out of office voicemail, even the one labeled emergency! Thinking we had been swindled, we began google searching the tour company to see if others had been treated similarly. This search turned up a completely separate number for Polynesian adventure tours MAUI, as opposed to the main office number printed on the tickets. Ringing this number we finally got through to a gentleman able to help us and call the driver. We were told ( at this point 30mins past our pick up) that the driver had run into delays with late passengers, our pick up would be in 10mins. 20mkns later no one had shown up, we range back and were told they would be there any second, 10mins later in the cold, we were picked up. Zero stars for initial communication and pick up. 5 stars for the tour guide and sunrise experience itself. 3 stars overall.
