I was really moved when I got to see the last one up close after seeing it about three times! I participated with my mother and only had my phone, but I was satisfied with the videos I captured! If I had to say something, I wish I could have seen the jumps from closer up, so I gave it four stars. Also, since snacks and drinks are paid, it's better to bring something with you.

It took about 20 minutes to get there by rental car from the hotel, and there was a large public parking lot near the port, which was convenient! I also recommend exploring the town of Lahaina right after it ends.

ホテルから20分くらいでレンタカーで行きましたが港の近くに広い公共の駐車場があったので便利でした！お昼におわってそのままラハイナの街を散策するのもお勧めです。

My little family of 3, husband and my 3 month old, went on this whale watching excursion and it was the highlight of our trip! I was very excited to find out that infants are welcome aboard. The entire crew was very informative, fun, and did everything they could to help the everyone spot some whales. We were so lucky to cruise with hundreds of spinner dolphins right below us. We even got close enough to spot a whale even though we were told it was early in the season. O would recommend bringing binoculars if you have some and a jacket because it definitely gets chilly and windy out there. Thank you to the entire crew for making my dream of seeing the whales come true!

We didn't get to either spots listed in the title of the tour due to weather. Maybe, in the future, they can offer a discounted 2nd trip so you can actually get to Molokini Crater. They don't offer that, so you get what you get. The "glass bottom" boat is also a deceiving description of this boat. Don't go based on this alone. The area we went was suitable for a relaxed first time snorkel. Lots of people, but my Mom still got first class treatment due to her fear of the new adventure. Heather ensured she felt comfortable in the gear and went into the water with her to get her comfortable to go off on her own! It was a very good experience, although I would not take a tour like it again. I would opt for something with less people on a smaller boat, for sure. If you choose to purchase the photos at the end, make sure you sought him out to actually take some pictures of you first or you will just have a lot of pictures of other people. The pics he took of my Mom are really good, although there are none of me while snorkeling. But, there were a LOT of people, so how could he possibly get pics of everyone.
All in all the boat was clean, the people were nice, and the snorkeling was really great! The food was pretty good, too.

Amazing Whale Watching Experience!!

The crew on the tour were professional and courteous right from the start. We were all anxious to see whales and our boat got right out there and we started seeing whale spouts. The boat was always on top of where the whales were. Through out the entire ride, the captain was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all questions. The boat itself was well stocked and very clean. There were plenty of tabkrs inside and on top, as well as seats on the front and back. Everyone had a place to sit and could see the action from anywhere on the boat. The end of the tour was the most incredible. Two whales swam literally under the boat and came out in front of the bow. Seeing how big these amazing creatures were so close was a once in a life time experience. Both whales came up for air at the front of the boat. The whales seemed as curious about us as we were about them, and hung out around our boat for a good fifteen minutes. I highly recommend this tour and their company for an incredible whale watching tour!! The experience is excellent for couples and families with children of all ages. My one bit of advice would be to show up twenty five minutes before check in as it was very busy and took some time to find a parking spot.

I was really glad to meet our guide, Yama P. We had a wonderful time discussing not only Maui and Haleakalā but also various memorable topics that touched the heart. I was drawn in by Yama P's background and the inner conflicts he shared, which made me feel a strong sense of connection. Of course, the beautiful sunset and the breathtaking starry sky were also amazing. Weather can be a matter of luck, but I was fortunate to have clear skies and stunning views during my visit.

I searched for a Japanese tour, but it was already too late and everything was sold out! I reluctantly chose the English tour, but there was only one American couple besides me. The driver and guide was considerate and let me sit in the front seat. I had no time to relax as I was immersed in English. Since I am Japanese, I was really impressed by the slow and easy-to-understand English guide. He was an American who had moved from California 25 years ago. His English was clear. The couple was kind, and I didn't feel lonely at all. The scenery on the way to Hana through the rainforest was amazing. The guide let me taste bananas ripened on trees that can only be found there, and we stopped at a stall where I could enjoy pure coconut ice cream. In the end, instead of dropping me off at my hotel first (Kahului), he went out of his way to take me to Wailea, where the American couple was staying, to show me the sunset in Kihei, and then he even took me back to Kahului! It was a fantastic day with great people and a wonderful tour. It might have been a coincidence, but it was truly great. For someone familiar with the area, it might be a bit surprising. Thank you! ❤️

日本語ツアーを探しましたが、時既に遅しで全てsold out! 仕方なく英語ツアーを選んだのですが、私以外アメリカ人のカップル一組だけ。　ドライバー兼ガイドさんが気を遣ってくれて私を助手席に。　さすがに気を抜く暇もなく英語に浸っておりました。　私が日本人なので、とにかくゆっくり分かりやすい英語ガイドに感激。　彼はカリフォルニアから移住して25年のアメリカ人。　英語が分かりやすかったです。　カップルも優しく、寂しさを感じることなく過ごせました。　レインフォレストを抜けてハナに向かう道々も最高な景色でした。　ガイドさんがそこでしか味わえない木で熟れたバナナを食べさせてくれたり、ピュアなココナッツアイスを食べれる露店に寄ってくれたり。　最終的には私が最初にホテルに送ってくれるはずが（カフルイ）、キヘイの夕日を見せてくれるために、アメリカ人カップルがステイしているワイレアに行って、わざわざ最後に送ってくれたり（カフルイまで戻ってくれた！）。　ツアーも人も最高な一日でした。　たまたまかもしれませんが、本当に良かったです。　ここの土地勘が分かる人にはちょっとびっくりかも。　感謝♡

Our group consisted of four people: my spouse and I, along with another young couple, and the guide's wife participated as an assistant. The guide, likely with a wealth of experience, had everything meticulously planned and prepared, allowing us to enjoy a safe and pleasant time. We climbed to the summit at around 3,000 meters in about an hour and a half, making stops at souvenir shops and a supermarket to choose sushi bento for dinner (included in the price) to gradually acclimatize to the altitude.

On the day of the tour, we encountered light rain on the mountainside, but with the guide's skillful driving and cheerful explanations, we reached the summit, where we found a blue sky above the clouds. We avoided crowded tourist spots and enjoyed the sunset from a quieter location, savoring sushi bento along with warm Japanese tea. Afterward, we took turns looking through telescopes while the guide explained various stars and constellations.

Two years ago, we participated in a sunset tour at Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii, where the summit is at 4,000 meters and the air was quite thin, making it difficult to breathe. For our honeymoon, we wanted to try the Haleakalā summit tour on Maui. We debated between the sunset + stargazing or sunrise, but since we wanted to get a good night's sleep and had a feeling that the sunset would be more beautiful, we chose that option.

The group size was just right, allowing us to see everyone's faces, and our guide was great at sharing stories, making the time pass without diminishing the excitement of the participants. It was also nice to receive recommendations on what to buy at the supermarkets and souvenir shops along the way.

The sunset was stunning, although I felt like the sun set a bit earlier than expected. Still, it was thoroughly enjoyable. However, the true highlight of the tour came afterward. In complete silence, when I looked up at the pitch-black sky for the first time, the awe I felt was indescribable. Surrounded by stars, we observed them through a telescope while receiving explanations about various constellations. It was quite cold at the summit, but they provided warm clothing, and I was so moved that I forgot about the chill, and time flew by.

I am grateful to our guide for their excellent storytelling and to have been blessed with good weather (it seems the participants from the previous day had a tough time due to poor weather).

On the way down from the summit, I fell asleep feeling a sense of satisfaction and emotion, wrapped in a relaxed mindset that life is too short to rush.

I think it would be wonderful to bring our parents next time. This was one of the few optional tours that left us very satisfied, and I highly recommend it for honeymoons (though it might be a bit tough with small children).

今回新婚旅行でマウイ島に行くにあたり、やってみたかったのがハレアカラ山頂ツアーでした。
サンセット+星空かサンライズで迷いましたが、夜はちゃんと寝たいし、なんとなくですがサンセットの方がきれいそうだなというくらいの気持ちで選びました。

参加人数も多すぎず、全体の顔も見渡せますしガイドさんのお話も上手で、車内でも参加者の楽しみな気持ちを減衰させることなく時間が過ぎていきました。
ところどころでよるスーパーやお土産屋さんでもどういったものがオススメかなど説明してもらえたのも良かったです。

サンセットもとてもきれいでしたが、少し日が落ちるのが早かったのかな？という印象ではありましたが十分堪能できました。
これだけでも比較的満足度は高かったのですが、このツアーの本領はこの後でした。
あたりは一切物音もしなくなり、完全に静まり返った中で初めて真っ暗闇の中空を見上げた時の感動は言葉では言い表すのが難しいほどのものでした。
あたり一面に広がる星に包まれ、いろんな星の説明を受けながら天体望遠鏡でその星を観察する。山頂はだいぶ寒かったですが、防寒具なども準備していただき、感動でそもそも寒さを忘れるほどであっという間に時間が過ぎていました。

終始上手にお話ししていだけたガイドさんへの感謝と、本当に天候にも恵まれ(前日参加の方々は天候に恵まれずつらいツアーとなったようです)た偶然に感謝感謝です。

山頂から降りる車の中は満足感と感動と、生き急いでも仕方ないよなというおおらかな気持ちに包まれながら寝てしまいました。

次は両家の両親を連れて行ってあげられたらすてきだなと思える、数少ないオプショナルツアーで非常に満足のいくものとなりました、新婚旅行などにオススメだと思います(小さい子連れだと少ししんどいかもしれません)。

As part of the basic tour, we had a snorkeling and snuba experience around Molokini Island.
Honestly, my impression was that there weren't many fish there.

After that, we moved to a spot where we could see sea turtles, and it was mentioned that snorkeling or snuba could be done for an additional fee.
At first, I was a bit disappointed because I thought the price included everything, but in the end, I was able to swim with two sea turtles, and there were also some lucky moments where we saw dolphins and whales from the boat, so it turned out to be a satisfying tour.
The tour instructors were generally cheerful people, so we had a great time.

Fortunately, the weather was good, and the sunrise from the summit of Haleakalā was wonderful. The breathtaking view of the sky from an elevation of 3,000 meters after the sun had fully risen was grand and mystical.

However, there were some disappointing aspects of the tour. 1) The pickup at the hotel (Westin Resort) was scheduled for 2:45 AM, but the bus arrived close to 3:30 AM. I called the emergency contact, but no one answered, and I was left waiting with another American couple. After the bus arrived, the driver and guide did not offer any apology, which I found frustrating. 2) When we finally boarded the late bus, it was almost over capacity. My wife and I were seated separately, and I was next to a 3L-sized American, making the interior extremely cramped. I sincerely hope for improvements for those who participate in this tour in the future.

I participated in the tour with my 0-year-old and 6-year-old, and while I had some concerns, we drove to the dock with a rental car.

The meeting place was easy to find, and there was a very friendly and approachable Japanese guide, which made me feel at ease when boarding the boat. We brought a stroller, and the staff helped us out, even carrying my child while I was snorkeling, which was very kind and made me happy☆

My 6-year-old had plenty of snorkeling experience, but it was their first time snorkeling in deep water, and they were quite scared. However, they were super excited and enjoyed themselves at the second turtle spot.

The boat also had a slide, and both my husband and 6-year-old were really pumped about it.

I wasn't expecting much from lunch, but the burgers were really delicious. After snorkeling, there was unlimited alcohol! As a heavy drinker, I was quite pleased with this!!

I highly recommend this for both adults and families!

今回0歳、6歳を連れてのツアー参加で不安もありましが、レンタカーにて船着き場へ。

集合場所もわかりやすく、大変気さくで話しやすい日本人ガイドさんもいらっしゃったので安心して乗船。
ベビーカーで行きましたが手伝ってくれたり、シュノーケルしてる間も抱っこしてスタッフの方が面倒を見てくださったり、大変皆さん親切で嬉しかったです☆

6歳児はシュノーケル経験は豊富でしたが、深い海のシュノーケルは初めてで大変怖がっていましたが
二つ目のウミガメスポットから大興奮で楽しんでいました。

船に滑り台もついており、パパと6歳児はかなりテンション上がってました。

ランチも期待してなかったのですがバーガーが大変美味しかったです。
シュノーケル後はお酒も飲み放題！これは酒豪の私としてはかなり嬉しかったです！！

大人同士でも家族連れでもオススメです！

We visited Maui for the first time with our family this time. I found out about this tour while looking for a luau show along the coast.

It was very close, just a 10-minute drive from our hotel in Kaanapali, and although the parking lot was small, it was convenient as we could easily find parking nearby.

Even before the show started, we enjoyed the atmosphere with unlimited drinks and poke dishes. The show seemed a bit subdued since the stage was a little far away, but I think it would have been more exciting with a fire dance. Overall, I highly recommend it!

ルアウショーを海沿いでは鑑賞で来たらと思い探していたところこのツアーを知りました。

カアナパリのホテルからも車で10分でとても近く、駐車場は小さいが近隣にすぐ停めれたので便利でした。

ショーが始まるまでまでも、ドリンク飲み放題やポキのお料理等雰囲気だけでも楽しめました。
ショーは、ステージが少し遠かったこともあり、

It was truly a wonderful starry sky. I thought it would be cloudy on the day I participated, but above the clouds, it was clear, and I could see the Milky Way and shooting stars clearly. The Earth shadow appeared after sunset, and seeing the shadow of the Earth felt like a cleansing experience for my heart. While watching the stars and listening to the guide's stories, I was moved to tears. I heard it would be cold, so I layered up with sweatshirts and down jackets, which kept me warm enough to enjoy the night sky. Before heading to the mountains, we stopped by a supermarket and a souvenir shop, and the supermarket had good prices!

本当に本当に素敵な星空でした。参加した日はあいにくの曇りと思っていましたが、雲の上は晴れていて天の川も流れ星もくっきり見えました。

As November is approaching, it was a bit chilly, but the water clarity was beautiful, allowing us to see all the way to the bottom! However, it gets cold when you come out, so you'll need dry clothes. There were Japanese staff members who kindly checked on us multiple times to see if we were okay and even took photos for us. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any sea turtles, but we had a wonderful experience snorkeling for the first time.

Haleakalā had bad weather, so we couldn't see the sunset. However, I thought it was impressive how the guide skillfully found a spot for stargazing by slightly changing locations. The tour progressed smoothly, and I felt the guide was very capable. I'll try again next time for a revenge trip.

The tour content was changed, and it ended up being a tour that only visited Haleakalā National Park. If that was the case, I would have preferred not to have the tour at all. Alternatively, I would have appreciated a change in destination to include visits to other places or some consideration like a discount or an earlier return. It was disappointing that there was no consideration for only visiting one location.
