After signing the waiver at the meeting point, we boarded a larger boat. We were given fins and goggles there. The size of the fins can be adjusted after trying them on! It takes about 15 minutes to reach the spot where we can see sea turtles. The boat sways a bit, so if you're prone to seasickness, it might be a good idea to have some motion sickness medication...! Once we started swimming, we were able to see the sea turtles! They were very large, and I was surprised! It's amazing that you can drive up to a height comparable to Mount Fuji. The sunset viewed from there, along with the sea of clouds changing colors as the sun sets, was wonderful. As a couple in our 60s, we were grateful for the easy ascent to the summit of Haleakalā, which made us feel like we really got our money's worth. The stargazing was also fantastic. I have participated in stargazing tours in Hawaii multiple times in the past, but this was the first time we each had our own chair, which was very comfortable (I usually end up standing and looking up at the stars, which always makes my neck hurt). Our guide, Mr. Yamauchi, provided explanations that were very clear and enjoyable. We will definitely come again!

The sea was a bit murky, but we were able to encounter sea turtles about 5-6 times. It takes about 10 minutes by boat to get there, and we snorkeled for a little over an hour. It's definitely a good idea to bring drinks, sunglasses, sunscreen, a rash guard, and motion sickness medication.

All the instructions are in English, so having a certain level of English proficiency would be reassuring. There were no other Japanese people besides us, but the crew members were very kind. Each person snorkeled, and when a turtle appeared, they would point out the direction. It felt like everyone swam to see the turtles, so I think being able to swim to some extent would enhance the experience.

After getting off the shuttle bus, they explained the precautions in Japanese and gave us the reservation ticket. Everything else was in English. We entered the waiver agreement through the QR code on the reservation ticket beforehand. We arrived exactly at check-in time at the designated reception (if you arrive early, you will be turned away). It seemed that eight buggies were grouped together, and the check-in times were strictly divided. After showing our driver's license, the driver received a wristband. We were given a helmet, goggles, and something like a neck warmer to protect against dust while watching a video on how to drive and safety precautions. Among the eight groups, we were the only Japanese. They gathered everyone to explain various things, but sadly, I understood very little. I think it would have been more enjoyable if I understood English better. I felt like I was just following along by instinct.

Awesome way to experience much of what Kualoa Ranch has to offer in 3 hours! Would love to spend the whole day, but this is a great way to get a taste of history, culture and adventure.
Easy tracks to travel and drive on. The group setting sizes were great and the guides were awesome. (knowledgeable, funny and informative)
Good amount of driving and plenty of stops along the way.
I can't fault this adventure (maybe some water stops along the way as a small improvement). We went on a perfect day. It was hot but not while you drive and when you stop, you can find shelter when you need it.
Thoroughly recommend and I would do it again with a group of friends

Fishing on a boat was my first experience, and it was incredibly fun!
In the clear waters of Oahu, I was able to interact with many fish.
From the boat, I had a wonderful view of the streets of Waikiki and Diamond Head.
I caught two fish, but some skilled anglers caught 6 to 7.
Unfortunately, there were no dolphins, but on the way back, I encountered a sea turtle!
I think it depends on the weather, but the boat sways quite a bit, so those who are sensitive should definitely take motion sickness medication.

Overall, the evaluation is high.
There are staff at the reception who speak Japanese, and even if you go with just a swimsuit, everything you need is provided by the school.
Before the lesson, they explain through a video, and before entering the sea, they use actual boards to teach you how to ride the waves, so I think even beginners can enjoy it.
Although it was a bit tough for me, who lacks stamina, as I was sometimes rushed by the instructor while resting, surfing while looking at the beautiful streets of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head was the best!

I went on a day when the water level was about waist-high. I enjoyed snorkeling, canoeing, and paddleboarding to my heart's content. The music on the boat created a great atmosphere, and the donuts were delicious.

I opted for a pickup from downtown Honolulu, but on the way there, the driver almost left without confirming my name. Even when I tried to tell him my name, he didn’t listen and closed the door on me. After a while, he opened the door and let me on, saying that I was indeed on the reservation, but that initial interaction left a very negative impression.

The meal was at the buffet restaurant of Hyatt Regency, and I was satisfied with the variety and taste of the dishes. It was great to see the show up close. The hula was wonderful. However, since it was in native English, I couldn't understand the small talk, which might have reduced the enjoyment a bit.

食事はハイアットリージェンシーのレストランビュッフェで、料理の種類、味も満足です。ショーも間近で見られ良かったです。フラはすばらしい。

Kauai Mountain Tubing Adventure – Float Through Jungle Tunnels & Canals

Fun for all ages

This excursion was good fun for even us 66-70 year olds gals. Loved Sophia our leader with her historic references and information. The tubing had both relaxed but quick moving parts along with tunnels where it’s a bit like twirling bumper cars. Lots of laughing along the way. Depth is approximately 3-4 feet deep. The guides stayed with us and quickly fixed any bottle neck problems. Will do this again next with my husband and daughter.

When I go to Hawaii, I always end up on a catamaran. It's great to spend an hour and a half cruising the open sea while enjoying drinks. This time, one of the female staff members cast a fishing line, and towards the end, she caught an impressive big fish, which was quite a surprise!
