I was looking forward to seeing whales, but I couldn't spot any. However, I did discover three mantas! I enjoyed a lovely morning cruise.

クジラ楽しみに行きましたが見れませんでした。しかし、マンタ三匹を発見！そして、朝の気持ち良いクルーズ、楽しめました。

I traveled around the Big Island by rental car, but since you can't drive to the summit of Mauna Kea in a private vehicle, I joined this tour. The experience, including the guide's explanations, exceeded my expectations. It was my first time at an altitude of over 4000 meters, so I felt a bit of altitude sickness (nothing too serious though...). However, the view from the summit, the sunset, and the starry night sky were beyond imagination.

ハワイ島ではレンタカーで回ってましたが、マウナケア山頂まで自家用車でいけないのでこのツアーに参加しました。ガイドさんの説明も含めて予想以上のすばらしさでした。山頂では初めての4000m以上の高さなので私一人高山病ぎみでした(大した症状ではないですが。。)
でもその頂上から見る景色、サンセットそれと夜空の星は想像以上でした。

We have visited Hawaii many times, but this was our second time on the Big Island.
Renting a car for island sightseeing and experiencing the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing were our top two priorities.
This time, we challenged ourselves with the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing at an elevation of 4,200 meters.
The beauty of the scenery, the sunset, and the clarity of the stars are beyond words.
I definitely encourage everyone to give it a try.

私たちはハワイには何度も来ているのですが、ハワイ島は今回で２度目でした。
レンタカーを借りての島内観光とマウナケアサンセット＆星座観測はやりたい事の１，２でした。
今回は４２００メータ級のマウナケアサンセット＆星座観測にチャレンジしました。
景色と夕日の素晴らしさ、星の美しさとクリアさは言葉では言い表せません。
ぜひ、皆さんもチャレンジしてみてください。

I saw it in Honolulu before, but this one was better.
The place isn't very large, so I think you can see from the back as well.
I didn't understand the words very well, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

以前ホノルルでみましたが、こちらの方がよかったです。
場所も広くないので後ろでも見えると思います。
言葉はあまりわかりませんでしたがそれなりに楽しめました。

I had heard that the oxygen was thin, but it was great! The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, and it was truly an impressive tour.

酸素が薄いといわれていたのですが、大乗でした！ガイドのかたがとっても親切で、物知りで本当に感動のツアーでした。

We had a fantastic time and a great meal. The entertainment was also great. I would recommend this to anyone - couples or famalies.

I'm an American and a Navy Vet. My wife and I have always wanted to Visit the State of Hawaii with a priority to Visit Pear Harbor. LUCKILY for us, I was FORTUNATE enough to find Veltra Tours on the web. I cannot say enough about the quality of our tour. The timeliness of the tour, the knowledge and personality of our guide Nick, SUPERB. We saw and learned more than we could have expected in a single morning. Also would like to Applaud the U S Navy, the State of Hawaii and our National Park service for all they do to honor our History and our Veterans.

We had such a great time and our guide made the best coconut cookies and made the adventure a blast!!

It was an experience that you can't have in Japan.
The entertainment-filled service from all the staff was wonderful.
Although it was a bit more expensive due to the weak yen, I was satisfied with the cost performance.

スタッフ全員のエンタ－ティメントあふれる接客が素晴らしかったです。
円安で少し高くなってしまいましたが、コスパも満足です。

Were well planned and executed tour giving a lot of insight to Hawaii and the the Hawaiian culture.
The planned stops are relevant and seams to be well picked giving a good head start for enjoying Oahu

The transportation from the hotel and Pearl Harbor went smooth and did the job as expected.
Meeting points and time schedules were all explained clearly and everything went as planned.

Expectations where high when we set out for this sunset tour 30th of december 2014 but there were no sunset to be found. A cold front passed Maui this evening and we were sitting in the bus at the top of mount Haleakala for 50 min just watching rain and wind passing by in cold , cold weather.
The guide did a fine job trying to fill out for the missing sunset but was up against uneven odds.
So be aware of the weather conditions since this can reduce the value and outcome considerately.
We were very surprised that the operator didn't cancelled the tour or at least warned us about the conditions so we could have a choice to participate or not.
The dinner was fine but surprisingly enough we didn't have much time to enjoy it so we was in a bit of a hurry to get finished in time

I took my mother to Hawaii for the first time, and we participated in this activity where we could experience a museum, hula lessons, and lei making all at once. I've visited Hawaii many times before, but this place is an amazing hidden gem!!! The historical buildings are impressive, and the exhibits are wonderfully rich and engaging, making it easy to spend an entire day without getting bored. The hula lesson lasted a full hour, and the teacher was very easy to understand. Lei making was also fun, and my mother was very satisfied. I recommend this for both repeat visitors to Hawaii and first-timers!

母を初めてのハワイに連れて行くという事で、博物館・フラレッスン・レイメイキングと一度に体験できるこちらのアクティビティーに参加してみました。
これまで何度も訪れたハワイですが、ここは驚きの穴場！！！
歴史的建造物はすごいですし、陳列も素晴らしく充実していて一日居ても飽きない感じです。
フラレッスンもたっぷり１時間、とても分かりやすく教えてくださる先生で、レイメイキングも楽しく、母も大満足でした。ハワイのリピーターさんにも、初めてさんにもお勧めです！

I joined to see the filming locations of Jurassic Park. I enjoyed the wonderful nature during the bus ride and the driver's humorous commentary.

ジュラシックパークのロケ地を見たくて参加しました。バスでの移動の間に見る自然の素晴らしさと運転手さんのユーモアあふれるガイド楽しかったです。

I was able to see a very beautiful sunset, and it was moving!! However, it was extremely cold. For stargazing, clouds rolled in, but they worked hard to find a spot where we could see the stars, and we managed to catch a glimpse. Masashi's guidance was also excellent, and it will definitely be one of my best memories on the Big Island. However, sunsets make me feel a bit lonely when the sun goes down, so perhaps a sunrise would have been even more moving. It’s early in the morning, but I thought I would like to go for a sunrise next time.

とてもキレイなサンセットがみれて、感動的でした!!ただ、めちゃめちゃ寒いです。星空観測は雲が出てしまったのですが、見れるところを一生懸命探してくださって、なんとか見れました。マサシさんのガイドもすごく良くて、ハワイ島で一番の思い出になること間違いなしです。ただ、サンセットは日が沈むと寂しい気持ちになるので、サンライズのほうが、もっと感動的だったかも。朝早いですが、次回はサンライズ行きたいなと思いました。

I took this tour with my 18 year old daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our pickup was punctual and the tour from beginning to end was informative and entertaining. Although not enough time was spent at any of the sites due to the fact we only had half day tour, our guide made us feel like we learnt a great deal about each place we visited. It is possible to visit Pearl Harbor without a tour and also organise your own entrance to the Arizona memorial on line for a small charge but we felt as if the money we paid for a tour experience was very well spent simply because our guide was so lovely, welcoming and full of wonderful insight and information about Hawaii and the sites we visited.
We stopped at the Royal palace and were able to walk around to take photos. We drove through Punchbowl cemetery with little stories and anecdotes shared by Brayden our lovely guide and then onto Arizona Memorial where we were left to wander around for approximately 1& 1/2 hours.
Overall a great experience!

The driver was a nice person, and it felt wonderful to ride horses along the beautiful beach and connect with nature!

The only downside was that someone who wasn't picked up confronted the driver, insisting it wasn't their fault, and complained to the company, which created a negative atmosphere. It was unfortunate to encounter a complainer while in Hawaii, especially since there were others from the same hotel being picked up.

However, the driver continued to lighten the mood and was truly a good person! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate again!

ドライバーさんも良い人だったし、綺麗なビーチ沿いを馬に乗って散歩して自然を感じる事が出来て気持ち良かったです！

☆一つ少ないのは、ピックアップされなかった人が、自分は悪くないってドライバーさんに、食ってかかったり、会社に文句の電話してたり、降りる時に文句言い逃げしたりして、空気が悪くなったからです。
同じホテルからピックアップされてる人がいるって事は……って感じでしたが、ハワイに来てまでクレーマーに遭遇とは。不運でした。

けど、その後もドライバーさんは和ませてくれて、本当に良い人でした！
またハワイに行く機会があれば是非参加したいです！

The guides, Yamapi and Rick, were polite gentlemen with proper manners. On the way to Haleakalā, we stopped at a viewpoint where they set up binoculars for whale watching. Thanks to them, I was thrilled to see a whale surface! The weather was great that day with no wind, and Haleakalā offered the best views. The guide was very accommodating, matching the pace of the participants, which made for a very pleasant experience. I look forward to seeing you again on my next trip to Maui. ガイドのヤマピーさんとRickさんは礼儀正しく、言葉遣いもキチンとされてる紳士。ハレアカラに向かう途中見晴台に止まり、双眼鏡を設置してクジラ見学もさせてくれました。おかげでクジラが頭を出した所が見れて感激！その日は風もなく良い天気で、ハレアカラは最高の景色でした。参加者のペースに合わせたアットホームなガイドで、とても気持ちよく参加できました。次にマウイに行く時もよろしくお願いしますね。PS:ヤマピーさん、写真待ってます。Mr.&Mrs. T

We were picked up at our hotel in Kona around 1 PM and took about two hours to reach the Onizuka Visitor Center via the hotel in Waikoloa. There, we had our lunch and spent an hour acclimatizing to the altitude before driving up to the summit of Mauna Kea again. The summit was very windy and cold, but we were deeply moved by the beautiful sunset and the sea of clouds. After that, we observed the starry sky at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, where the stars appeared very close, and we could even see satellites moving. It was a great experience of nature that you can't have in Tokyo. Our guide, Stephan, was also kind and a truly wonderful person.

13時頃にコナのホテルでピックアップ、ワイコロアのホテル経由で約2時間かけてオニズカビジターセンターに着きました。そこでお弁当を食べ体を標高に慣らすこと1時間、再度車でマウナケア頂上まで登りました。山頂は風が強く寒かったですが、きれいな日没と雲海を見ることが出来て大変感動しました。そのあとも標高3千数百メートルのところで星空観察、星がとても近く見え、人口衛星まで動いているのが確認できました。東京では体験できない大自然、とても良かったです。ガイドのステファンさんも親切で大変素晴らしい方でした。

Well worth the money. I love the food. Everybody was very courtious and helped every way they could. All the staff was so helpful to us. My fiance is in wheelchair and they helped in every possible way. We got to have captain help us up to top floor to see fireworks. What an experience I couldn't tell u anything bad about this. They let u smoke on top of ship which is a good nerve helper. I would totally do it again

It was well beyond my expectations food great views great, fireworks great, hawaiian dancing great. Well worth the money. Staff very friendly

You can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Maui. Although the guide was only in English, I was able to communicate to some extent, perhaps because I wasn't with a native speaker. If you don't clearly express what you want to do here, your satisfaction might decrease a bit. It's common in Hawaii tours, but the air conditioning in the vehicle is quite strong, so it's better to bring warm clothing. I was able to ask the guide to make it warmer for me.

綺麗なマウイ島の風景を満喫することが出来ます。
英語ガイドのみですが、ネイティブの方と一緒では無かったせいか、ある程度意思疎通を図りながらガイドして頂けました。
自分からここで何をしたいとか、はっきり意思表示をしないと、少し満足度がさがるかも知れません。
ハワイのツアーではよくあることですが、車内の冷房が強烈に効いているので、防寒具は持っていった方が良いです。ガイドの方にお願いしたら暖かくして頂けましたが。

I arranged this for my parents who are over 60 years old. They said there was an hour wait from when they were picked up until they boarded. Was that time for a stroll? The explanations underwater were all in English, but it seems my parents, who don't understand English, were still able to enjoy it to some extent.

６０歳オーバーの両親のために手配しました。迎えに来てもらってから乗るまでに１時間の待ち時間があったそうです。散策の時間でしょうか？海中の説明は全て英語で英語がわからない両親でもそれなりに楽しめたそうです。

I'd like to sorry upfront for my candid feedbacks.

My main objective is to watch the whale; however, there was no whale to watch. The captain tried to raise the expectation of tour participants with somehow false alert such as "01 mile away from whales"... but at the end, no one could sense any whale signals. Even though, the Cruise offered other time to watch the whale, for foreign travellers like me, this is not a genuine gesture - it will be difficult for us to spend another trip to Hawaii for another Whale Watch Cruise. Thus, I suggest it should say that "the Cruise will go around Honolulu in an attempt to find whale, but chance to see whale depends on different factors. If you cannot see whale, take it easy and enjoy the sightseeing..." or something like that.

Lunch will be another area for improvement as the listed dishes are far away from similar one in other normal restaurants.

Other than the above, the trip can be a nice memory when participants can enjoy the beautiful landscape of Honolulu from the Ocean.

My first luau and it was such fun great food and entertainment I learnt how to do the hula and even got up on stage the chief is so funny too

We were the only 2 on the tour and we were still taken by the tour company and shown a fantastic day. Beautiful scenery, very knowledgeable guide. An excellent tour that should be done be everyone visiting this part of Hawaii.

This year, at my father's request after he experienced illness and surgery, we went on a trip to Hawaii. Since my parents usually don't express gratitude to each other, I surprised them by booking this option.

The captain's ceremony was entirely in English, so I did my best to translate the important points with my limited English skills, and they seemed to understand somewhat. Afterward, I was worried when my father fell silent, but suddenly he started to cry and expressed his gratitude.

The food was even better than expected, and the show was plentiful, keeping us entertained beyond the scheduled time. There was even a show at the end that brought everyone on the ship together, and I was more satisfied than I had imagined.

Thank you very much. Now that I am back home, I would like to give my parents a letter with the captain's vow along with photos from the vow renewal ceremony. I would be even happier if you could provide that information.

今年病気と手術を経験した父の希望もあり、ハワイ旅行へ行きました。
普段はなかなか感謝を伝え合わない両親なので、サプライズでこのオプションを申込みました。
キャプテンのセレモニーは全文英語のため、私の拙すぎる英語力で大事なポイントはなんとか和訳して伝え、何となく理解はしてくれました。その後、父は黙りこんでしまったため不安でしたが、突然涙を流して感謝してくれました。
お料理も予想以上においしく、ショーもたっぷり、時間を越えてまで楽しませてくれました。
最後は船内が一体となるようなショーもあり、想像以上に満足でした。
ありがとうございました。
帰国した今、改めてバウリニューアル時の写真と共に、キャプテンの誓いの言葉を両親に手紙で渡したいのですが、お教えいただくことができれば、なお嬉しいです。

I'm afraid the whales were very shy during our particular trip. We did see two on 4/5 occasions but only briefly from a distance. In these circumstances I think it's best to look upon the trip as a pleasure cruise because we were treated to great views of the Western side of Big Island. The crew deserve a mention...always polite and courteous...they looked after everyone with complimentary soft drinks.

I finally summited Haleakalā, a mountain I had visited Maui several times without ever climbing. Since I had a rental car, I considered going on my own, but since it was my first time there, I decided to join a tour, and I truly felt it was a highly satisfying experience.

They picked us up at the hotel and took their time climbing. I was a bit worried about climbing a mountain over 3000 meters, but I had no issues with my health and was able to reach the summit comfortably.

The view from the summit was beyond words. It happened to be a full moon that day, so the moonlight was too bright to see many stars (though it was still incomparable to the usual night sky), I was moved by the incredibly bright and beautiful moon that I had never seen before.

The guide, Yamapi, was truly wonderful. I am grateful for the opportunity to be reminded of the amazing nature that Maui has to offer. I definitely want to participate again when I go back to Maui.

As mentioned in the tour information, it gets very cold at the summit at night, so I recommend bringing extra warm clothing. However, the awe-inspiring experience that awaits you is worth braving the cold, making this tour highly recommended.

これまで何度もマウイを訪れていたのに一度も登ったことのなかったハレアカラに初めて登頂。レンタカーをしていたので自力で行くことも検討しましたが、初めての場所なのでツアーに参加することにしたのですが、本当に満足度の高いツアーで参加してよかったと感じています。
ホテルまでピックアップに来てくださり、時間をかけて登っていきます。3000m超の山を登るということで多少心配もありましたが、体調にまったく問題なく気持ちよく山頂に着くことができました。
山頂で見られる景色の素晴らしさは言葉で表現できないほどのものでした。当日ちょうど満月だったこともあり、月の光が明るすぎて星はあまり見られなかったのですが（とはいえ普段見ている星空とは比較にならないものです）これまで見たことのないほど明るく美しい月に遭遇して感動しました。

やまぴーさんのガイドは本当に素晴らしいです。マウイにこれほどの素晴らしい自然があることを再認識させていただき感謝しています。またマウイに行く際には必ず参加したいと思います。

ツアー情報に記載もありますが、夜の山頂はとにかく寒いですので防寒着は多めに持っていったほうがよいかと思います。ただその寒さを凌ぐほどの感動がそこに待っていますのでオススメのツアーです。

This was the best way to see Pearl Harbor! Our Driver, Larry, was wonderful... Funny, very knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend that you purchase the Battleship Missouri ticket with your tour, it was excellent.
