We participated as a family of four during the summer vacation. They were considerate enough to ensure we had enough time for sightseeing in Haleiwa, allowing us to have a leisurely and delicious lunch. The main event, horseback riding along the coast, was so much fun that I can't even put it into words. They matched each rider with a horse based on the horse's personality. I was impressed by how many different personalities they have, just like humans. The horse for my elementary school son and me was very obedient, while my daughter and husband's horse was laid-back and a bit of a foodie, often stopping to graze, which made it a bit challenging! Those moments became fun memories as well. The view of the ocean from horseback was incredibly beautiful and refreshing. On the way back, the kids kept saying they wanted to go again! I would love to participate again as well. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

帰り道で子供たちはまた行きたい！と何度も言ってました。私も是非また参加させていただきたいです。

This time, during our two-week stay, the only tour was this stargazing! I was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately, the sky was cloudy and the moon was out. We could see the large moon, but the stars we were hoping to see were much better viewed back in Japan. It was disappointing.

This August, I participated in the Mauna Kea Summit Sunset & Stargazing Tour. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the stars from the summit due to the weather, but we did catch glimpses of the sunset peeking through the clouds, which was quite dramatic! Also, our guide, J IN, really wanted to show us the stars and took us to various spots to try and catch a view! The stories during our travels were enjoyable, and I had a great time! I definitely want to participate again!

However, since it was during the Obon season and the pickup was at the last hotel, there were no seats available, and my husband and I ended up sitting separately. I'm sorry for the late review. My child wanted to see the stars on the Big Island, so we booked this tour. On the way to the summit, we gradually acclimatized to prevent altitude sickness, but when we reached the top, a few people seemed to be suffering from it. 山頂に向かう途中で高山病対策で少しずつ体を慣らしていくのですが、山頂につくと数人高山病にかかり辛そうでした。無理に動かず座ってサンセットを見ていれば何とかなるようです。星空観測は山頂からだいぶ降りた所で観測したのでそこでは高山病の症状は治まっており楽しく星空観測出来ました。
普段見れない星空を見ることが出来最高のツアーでした

My child expressed a desire to try horseback riding, and after researching various options, I chose this tour that allows even a 7-year-old to ride for the first time. Other tours had age restrictions that we couldn't meet. Additionally, since I had never rented a car before, the fact that we could see the North Shore while horseback riding was a deciding factor.

The result was a great choice! When we stopped by the North Shore in the morning and visited Matsumoto Shave Ice, it was surprisingly empty. We thoroughly enjoyed the shave ice with my child. By the way, when we went back to Haleiwa in the afternoon after horseback riding, Matsumoto Shave Ice had a long line, so it was definitely the right decision to go in the morning!

After that, we moved on to start horseback riding. It was the first time for our whole family, but the guide explained everything in Japanese multiple times during the car ride, and the horses were well-trained, so there were no issues at all. My 7-year-old daughter seemed to have a lot of fun, calmly riding her horse while talking to it. I thought someone would be holding the reins for her, but that wasn't the case (laughs). She was really on her own.

The weather was great, and there were spots where we could see the valley and the ocean, which felt wonderful! My husband and the kids really enjoyed it too. It seemed like they appreciated that it wasn't just going around in circles on the ranch!

I liked it so much that I would definitely want to do it again when we go back to Hawaii!

子供から乗馬をしたいとの希望があり、いろいろ調べたところ、初めての７才でも乗せてもらえるこのツアーを選びました。他のツアーの乗馬は年齢制限にひっかかったので…。また、レンタカーは借りたことがないのでノースショアも見つつ乗馬もできるということも決め手でした。
結果は正解！午前中にノースショアに立ち寄ったときに、マツモトシェイブアイスにいったら、なんとガラガラ。子供とシェイブアイスを十分楽しめました。ちなみに乗馬のあとの午後に再びハレイワに行ったときは、マツモトシェイブアイスはすごく行列していたので、午前中に食べて正解でした！
その後移動して乗馬開始。家族みんな初めての乗馬でしたが、行きの車でガイドさんが日本語で何回も説明してくれたのと、馬がかなり調教されていたので、全く問題なしでした。
７才の娘もとても楽しかったらしく、自分の馬に話しかけながらずっと落ち着いて１人でのっていました。誰か手綱を引いてくれるのかと思ってましたが、違いました(笑)。本当に１人でしたよ。
天気もよくて、渓谷と海が見える場所もあり、とても気持ち良かったです！主人も子供たちもかなり気に入っていました。牧場内をぐるぐるまわるだけではないのが良かったみたいです！

またハワイにいったら是非お願いしたいくらいとっても気に入りました！

The tour guide was friendly and I had a great time! We were lucky to see a beautiful sunrise, and the snack service (warm coffee and bread) was really nice! The breakfast we had on the way back was also delicious. If you come to Maui, I definitely recommend visiting here!

The driver had a somewhat stern demeanor and wasn't very friendly, which made me feel tense during the ride. When we arrived at the airport, the place I was dropped off seemed a bit different from where I should have gotten off. After getting out and feeling lost, the driver yelled "Hey!" at me from behind, which confused me. I ended up getting back on the bus and was dropped off at the correct place. (It seems there was a mix-up between China Airlines and Air China.) I think I would have felt more at ease if the driver had been a bit friendlier.

空港に着いておろしてもらった場所が、降りるべき場所と少し違ったようで、
降りた後迷っていると、後ろから大声で「Hey！」と運転手さんに怒鳴られ、わけがわからずもう一度バスに乗り、本当に降りるべき所で降ろしてもらいました。（China airlineとAir chinaを間違えたとのことでした）
もう少しフレンドリーに接してもらえると、もっと安心できたと思います。
