The course in the mountains after the rain was a bit muddy, which made me a little anxious, but the horse walked very well. There were times when I slipped, but the horse maintained its balance, so it wasn't a problem. I think the course on a sunny day would also be nice, but the course after the rain was thrilling and fun. The weather was clear at the summit of Mauna Kea, and I was excited for what promised to be a wonderful night of stargazing. Since it was my first time on the Big Island, my husband and I decided to participate in the Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing tour! I was worried about altitude sickness since I had never climbed a high mountain before, but it was not a problem at all. The weather was fantastic that day, and both the sunset and stargazing from near the observatory were truly amazing, creating memories for a lifetime. If you're going to the Big Island, I highly recommend this tour.

I had just seen the latest Jurassic World, so I was super excited about this scene and that scene!
The tour guide was friendly and kind.
However, please don't expect much from the lunch buffet. The taste was shocking, and it made my taste buds tremble.
I hardly ate anything.
Still, I'm glad I participated in this tour!

Toshi, our driver guide, was a kind and fun person. On the day of the tour, there were a total of 10 people picked up from three different hotels, and we were able to leave each hotel ahead of schedule, which made for a very pleasant start to the tour.

Although the weather was a bit bad, we were able to enjoy horseback riding and had a great day. I felt that the horseback riding was a bit more active and enjoyable than at Kualoa. My husband had his first horseback riding experience, and he seemed to really enjoy it, saying he wanted to ride again after we finished.

We couldn't see the turtles in Haleiwa, as it seems there is a specific season for that, but I recommend checking the timing if you're looking forward to seeing them. (You can gauge the chances of seeing them based on the guide's comments, haha.) For lunch, we thoroughly enjoyed garlic shrimp and huli huli chicken and were very satisfied.

I could not be more pleased with my experience on the Star of Honolulu for our vow renewal! The entire experience was flawless from the captain and his beautiful words to the fireworks over the beach at the end. Only two suggestions or pieces of information for others considering this... 1) the three-star experience is not air conditioned and if you are there in July like we were, be prepared to sweat! 2) no children's menu so if you have a picky little one like I do, bring kid-friendly snacks

I was worried about horseback riding for the first time, but the Japanese guide taught us carefully, so I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind! During the bus ride, they talked about recommended shops and the town of Hawaii, allowing us to fully enjoy the day. The only disappointment was that we couldn't meet any sea turtles at Turtle Bay.

We gathered before 8 AM and returned to the hotel around 10:30 PM. It was truly a full day, a fulfilling tour.

Previously, I participated in the afternoon canoe show with a friend, and this time, I joined this half-day tour combined with sightseeing with my mother.

It was great to show my mother, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, Hanauma Bay and the "Tree of Life" from Hitachi. The cultural center, with the canoe show and village performances, was all wonderful and enjoyable. The highlight was definitely the night show; the fire dance is a must-see!

From Hanauma Bay to the "Tree of Life," then to Dole and Haleiwa, the guide provided information along the way, which was fun. However, it felt a bit packed with sightseeing. We only had about 20 minutes in Haleiwa, so a little more time there would have been nice. I rated it ★4, but I highly recommend this satisfying tour.

The phone call for reconfirmation until the day before was a hassle. I don't understand why it's necessary when I've already paid with a credit card. Moreover, since I was planning to participate on the day of arrival, I had to call from Japan considering the time difference.

When I asked about the rain policy, they said that if it rains heavily, we would go under the roof. In the case of a storm, they would decide around 5 PM whether to cancel or not.

After reading other people's experiences, I was surprised to see a long line when I went to line up before 5 PM! Perhaps it was because it was the high season in late July. Registration started at 5:30 PM, and we got to wear shell leis for photos. You can upgrade to flower or nut leis for an additional fee. You can refuse the photo session.

Seating is based on the order of the line. If you pay about 20 dollars more, you can get a table at the very front.

The host talks a lot and sings as well. The English isn't too difficult, and you can still enjoy it even if you don't understand everything. There are hula lessons, traditional games, and stamp tattoos. They show you the whole roasted pig being pulled up, followed by a performance where the king lands from the sea. You're instructed to get your meal from the front tables. Drinks are all-you-can-drink (some are paid), but the bar is far away and inconvenient.

You can see dances from various Polynesian regions. The fire dance was the most exciting. I saw a similar show at Fish Eye in Guam, but the stage here is smaller overall, and there are fewer dancers. The fire dance only has one male performer.

I can tell they are trying to entertain us, but it was very long, and I ended up dozing off a bit.

At the end, you can take photos with the dancers using your phone or other devices. No one seemed to be tipping. The price of the show is much cheaper than in Waikiki, but since I haven't seen it in Waikiki, I can't compare the cost performance.

ホストの方がしゃべるしゃべる。歌も歌う。そんなに難しい英語ではないし、分からなくても楽しめます。フラのレッスンや伝統ゲームに興じたり、スタンプタトゥーがあります。
豚の丸焼きを引き上げるのを見せてくれ、直後に王が海から上陸する演出。食事は前方テーブルからに取りにいくよう指示されます。飲み物は飲み放題ですが（一部有料）、バーが遠くて面倒です。
ここまでが長いこと！

ポリネシア各地の踊りを見せてもらえます。ファイアーダンスが一番盛り上がっていました。グアムのフィッシュアイでも同様のショーを見ましたが、こちらは全体的にステージが小さくダンサーの数は少ないです。ファイヤーダンスも男性が一人だけです。

色々と楽しませようとしてくださっているのは伝わるのですが、とても長いので、一部寝てしまいました。

最後はダンサーの方と手持ちの携帯などで写真を撮れます。特にチップを払っている人はいませんでした。ショーのお値段はワイキキよりずっと安いですが、ワイキキでは見ていないので、コスパ比較はできません。

The photos taken against the backdrop of the fantastical scenery of Kilauea Volcano's red glow reflecting on the clouds and the starry sky are treasures. Here we have a small group of nice folks pouring their soul into this wonderful luau. Imagine all this happing within the beautiful confines of Waimea Valley! Great food, great entertainment and one heck of a value. Toa Luau is centered around the traditional Samoan luau ways and pays respect to Hawaii and all the islands of Polynesia. I participated with a friend. They picked us up at the hotel, and along the way, we had fun conversations and learned various recommendations about Maui. We enjoyed drinks at Krispy Kreme, chose bento boxes at the supermarket (I underestimated the bento, but it was incredibly delicious), and shopping at Kula Lodge (we got to sample a lot of food). The journey to Haleakalā was truly enjoyable. The sunset was so moving that words can't describe it. Additionally, we went to a hidden spot where there were only 2 or 3 other people besides our tour group. We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, the starry sky was not fully visible due to the clouds, but it was a sky that you can't see in Tokyo. (Even though we could see a little, we were told we could come back for a revenge trip next time. It was really thoughtful of them.) I was also moved by Yamapi's passionate stories. Thank you for everything. I will definitely participate again! For those who are unsure about going, you should definitely go—it's highly recommended!

友達と2人で参加させていただきました。ホテルまでお迎えに来ていただいて道中楽しいお話しに加えオススメのお店などマウイに関して色々と教えていただきました。クリスピードーナッツに飲み物、スーパーでお弁当選び(お弁当とあなどっていましたがすごーく美味しいです。)、クラロッジでお買い物(たくさん試食させてもらいました)、ハレアカラに着くまでも本当に楽しかったです。サンセットは言葉にならないほど感動しました。さらに穴場に行っていただいたのかそこは私達ツアー客と他には2、3人だけ。本当に素敵な時間を過ごすことができました。残念ながら星空は雲が多く満天の星とまではいきませんでしたが東京では見れない星空でした。(しかも少しは見えたにもかかわらず、次回リベンジして良いとのこと。ほんと至れりつくせりです。)ヤマピーさんの熱のこもったお話にも感動です。色々とありがとうございました。絶対にまた参加しまーす！！行くか迷われてる方は絶対に行った方が良いですよ〜。オススメです。

I participated with my middle school daughter. Both of us were a bit tired on the fifth day in Hawaii. The weather was nice, and we could see the sunset, the moon, and the stars clearly. I regretted that we couldn't see the Milky Way because the moon was so bright. We could also see the glow of the Kilauea volcano faintly. The scenery of the Big Island along the way was beautiful, and the various guide explanations were interesting. Matt's chatter was enjoyable too. I wondered if he was okay talking so much in such thin oxygen. I appreciated his effort to entertain us. The down jacket and pants we borrowed were incredibly warm. The miso soup we had in the cold was very delicious!

We were guided to the bus without much waiting at the airport. For some reason, it was just the two of us on a large bus, and we went straight to our accommodation! Along the way, the driver kindly provided various information and explained the pickup location for our return, which was very thoughtful.

The price was certainly cheap, but the wait time was long and the bus was full. What disappointed me the most was that, despite staying at the Grand Waikikian, I was dropped off at the Grand Islander and had to carry two 24 kg suitcases to the Waikikian, struggling all the way. I asked to be taken to the Waikikian, but I was told that Hilton had decided to drop off at the Grand Islander. Although the distance isn't far, it took about 30 minutes to carry the two large suitcases over the cobblestone path, and I thought I never want to ride again. If there are such arrangements, I believe they should indicate that they cannot provide transportation to the hotel when the hotel name is written at the time of booking.

なによりも失望したのは、宿泊がグランドワイキキアンにもかかわらずおろされたのが、グランドアイランダーで自ら24ｋｇのスーツケースを2個持って、ワイキキアンまでフラフラになりながら運んだこと。
ワイキキアンまで送ってほしいとお願いしましたが、ヒルトンはクランドアイランダーでおろすことに決まっていると聞いてもらえませんでした。そんなに距離はないけれども石畳の道を大きなスーツケースを2個運ぶのは30分くらいかかり二度と乗りたくないと思いました。そういう取り決めがあるのなら予約時にホテル名を書いているのだからホテルまで送迎できないとその旨表示すべきだと思います。

Moreover, I was initially taken to a different hotel with a similar name. If you're concerned about time, taking a taxi might be a better option.
