I participated in November 2015. Although the weather was good, at the moment of sunrise, clouds covered the sun, so I couldn't see the best view. However, the scenery from the summit was very magical and made for a great memory. Since you wait outside for over an hour for the sunrise, you need winter clothing similar to what you would wear in Japan's mid-winter.

2015年11月に参加、天気は良かったものの、日の出の瞬間、太陽に雲がかかっており最高の景色は見れませんでしたが、山頂からの眺めは非常に幻想的でよい記念になりました。外で1時間以上日の出を待ちますので、日本の真冬と同じ防寒ｸﾞｯｽﾞが必要です。

The Dole Plantation, Turtle Beach, Haleiwa Town, and horseback riding along the coast made for a very packed itinerary. I also enjoyed the experience of cracking open and eating fresh macadamia nuts at the macadamia nut farm, which you mentioned could only be visited when there was time. I wish we could have spent a bit more time in Haleiwa Town, as we only had time for lunch. I would have liked to have extended the time, even if it meant starting our meeting a bit earlier! Horseback riding by the sea was very pleasant, and I’m glad I participated.

ドールプランテーションに、ウミガメビーチ、ハレイワタウン、海沿いの乗馬、と、とても盛りだくさんの内容でした。
時間がある時にしか寄れないと仰っていた、マカダミアナッツ農園で、生のマカデミアナッツを殻を割って食べる体験が出来たのも、楽しかったです。ハレイワタウンは、ランチを食べるだけで終わってしまったので、集合時間を早めてでも、もう少し長く時間をとっていただきたかったです！海辺の乗馬はとても気持ちがよく、参加して良かったです。

I participated in the tour on October 1st. I heard that the chances of seeing the starry sky are only about 10% throughout the year, which raised my expectations quite a bit. I reached the summit of Mauna Kea without suffering from altitude sickness, but there were quite a few clouds, making me wonder if I would fall into that 10%.

The sunset at the summit was blocked by clouds, so it wasn't a particularly moving experience, but the landscape with many observatories was satisfying enough. After that, we moved to a lower area where the chances of seeing stars were higher. As we were moving, the beautiful starry sky began to appear, raising my hopes once again.

The excitement I felt when we moved to a place where we could see the stars and looked up at the sky is something I still can't forget now that I'm back home. Since childhood, I've had a hobby of stargazing (although as an adult, I hardly had time to look at the stars), and I remembered quite a few names of stars and constellations. However, the starry sky I looked up at was completely different from the skies in Japan, with the sheer number of stars and the Milky Way clearly visible.

My wife and I were very satisfied with the dazzling starry sky, where the names of stars and constellations were hard to distinguish. The guide's explanations were also wonderful, and I was impressed by how well they had studied. I was told that if I participated from May to July, I might see the Northern Cross of Cygnus and the Southern Cross, which can only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere, and I thought I would like to participate again as I headed home. Thank you for the wonderful experience of the starry sky.

１０月１日のツアーに参加しました。途中星空が見えないのは、年間１０%程度との話もあり、期待度はかなりUPしました。
高山病にかかることもなく、マウナケアの頂上に着きましたが、かなり雲が多く、１０%に入ってしまうのかと思えました。
頂上での夕日は、雲にさえぎられ、それほど感動する状況ではありませんでしたが、多くの天文台がある風景は、それなりに満足できるものでした。
その後、下の方が星が見える確率が高いということで移動しました。
移動中にきれいな星空が見え出し、ひょっとしたらと、またまた期待度UPです。
星空が見える場所に移動し、空を見上げた時の感動は、帰国した今でも忘れられません。
子供のころから、天体観測が趣味で(成人してからは、ほとんど星を見る時間もありませんでしたが)、星や星座の名前はそれなりに覚えていました。
しかし、見上げた星空は、星の数の多さ、天の川がはっきりと見えること等、日本の星空とはまったく異っていました。
星や、星座名もはっきりしないくらい、星々が光り輝く星空に、女房ともども大満足でした。
また、ガイドの方の解説もすばらしく、よく勉強されているなと感心させられました。
５月から７月ごろ参加すると、白鳥座の北十字星と、南半球しか見えない南十字星が見えるかもと言う解説もあり、また参加したいと思い帰路につきました。
星空の感動、ありがとうございました。

The sunset, the stars, and the guide were all wonderful. I've participated in various tours during my travels, but this was the best one. The night sky was amazing, and I was particularly moved by the shooting stars and the largest and most magnificent Scorpius I've ever seen. There were explanations about constellations and planets, which were educational, and above all, the guide's attentiveness made me feel very secure, creating a warm atmosphere for the tour. I also climbed Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii last year. While I understand there may be weather conditions to consider, I was more satisfied and moved by this experience in many ways. I highly recommend it.

サンセット、星、ガイドさん、すべてが素晴らしかったです。今まで旅行ではいろいろ参加してますが一番良いツアーでした。星空は素晴らしく、個人的には流れ星と、今まで見た中で一番立派で大きなさそり座に感動しました。星座や惑星、色々な説明があり勉強にもなりましたし、何よりガイドさんの気配りでとても安心でき、温かいツアーだと感じました。ハワイ島のマウナケアにも昨年登りました。気象条件などもあるかとは思いますがこちらの方が色々な面で満足し感動しました。おすすめします。

On the second day of our stay in Hawaii, my spouse and I participated in this optional tour. At first, we were looking at various tours that would take us to many places, but since we didn't want to feel rushed (though we were a bit anxious since it was our first time), we decided on this free time plan to leisurely stroll through the streets.

That was the right choice! After visiting Dole's and Turtle Beach, we had about three hours of free time. We were able to explore the town from one end to the other, taking breaks along the way. Our driver, Tsugawa (I apologize if I got the name wrong!), was very kind and drove us to Macky's, which was a bit away from the meeting point. He helped us with ordering the garlic shrimp and provided wet wipes, making us feel comfortable during the tour.

Initially, I was worried about the weather, but it turned out to be sunny without any issues. I would have given it five stars, but since we couldn't see the sea turtles basking (they were peeking out of the water), I’m giving it four stars this time, hoping to see them basking next time!

夫婦でハワイ滞在2日目にこちらのオプショナルツアーに参加させて戴きました。初めは他にも色々連れていってもらえるツアーを見ていたのですが、あまり時間に追われたくない２人(だけど初めてだからちょっと不安)ゆっくりと街並みを見ながら散策したくなったのでこちらのフリータイムプランに決めました。
これが正解♪ドールズ、海亀ビーチに行った後は３時間程のフリータイム。町の端から端までゆっくりと休憩を挟みながら散策することができました(^-^)ドライバーのツガワさん(名前間違っていたらすみません‼)はとても優しい方で、待ち合わせ場所から少し離れた場所にあるマッキーズまで車で連れていってくれて、ガーリックシュリンプの注文や案内、ウェットティッシュを持ってきてくださったりと安心してツアーに参加する事が出来ました(^-^)初め心配だった天気も問題なく晴天で、本当は☆５つなのですが、海亀さんの甲羅干しが見れなかったので(海から顔は出していましたｗ)次回甲羅干しを見れる様期待を込めて☆４つで!

Beautiful cruise! Great food and the dancers were stunning! Highly recommended! Service was outstanding!!! We had a great time!!!

I recommend this for first-time visitors to Hawaii. You can visit the "This is the tree, what tree?" Monkey Pod, Pineapple Park, sea turtle landings, horseback riding, and a macadamia nut processing factory, and drive along the coastline. The garlic shrimp I had for lunch was the best! The mildly seasoned shrimp were irresistible. Horseback riding truly showcases Hawaii's great nature! It's a moment that makes you feel like you're on an overseas trip.

初めてハワイへ来た人におすすめです。この～木なんの木♪モンキーパッド、パイナップルパーク、ウミガメの上陸、乗馬、マカダミアナッツ加工工場へ行き、海岸線をドライブできます。昼食に食べた、ガーリックシュリンプは最高！マイルドな味付けのエビは箸が止まりません。乗馬はこれぞハワイの大自然！海外旅行に来たと感じる瞬間です。

I was deeply moved by the sunset, the star-filled sky afterward, and the Milky Way. Lying on my back in the darkness, listening to the guide's easy-to-understand explanations was so pleasant that I could have listened forever. The snapshot photos taken against the starry sky, which you can't normally capture, are also a precious memory. Please note that there are no restrooms at the stargazing location, so it's best to limit your intake of fluids like coffee beforehand. I personally wanted to go to the restroom towards the end because it got cold...

夕日と、そのあとの満点の星と天の川から大きな感動をもらいました。暗闇に仰向けに寝転んで聞くガイドさんのわかりやすい解説は、いつまでも聞いていたい心地よさがありました。普通では撮影できない星空をバックにしたスナップ写真も大切な記念です。なお、星空観測地点にはトイレがないので事前にコーヒーなどの水分を控えめにしておくこと。私自身、最後のほうは寒くてトイレに行きたかったので…。

We had a spectacular time! Easy to book, easy to get on board, DELICIOUS crab and steak and ice cream ! Mai Tais are excellent! Gorgeous dancers and costumes! I loved the ukulele musician, he was wonderfully entertaining and kept everyone happy. He has a beautiful voice! Our pictures on the Star are unforgettable. This really made our last night in Hawaii memorable. Junior was our staff member and he was terrific. Thank you for the night of a lifetime!

Rocky picked us up right on time and transported my family across the island for the city tour and Pearl Harbor tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Pearl Harbor is a place that all should visit to get a sense of the importance of remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country! Great tour overall!

The guide was entertaining and it was a lot of fun. The weather was nice, and I was very satisfied to see a beautiful starry sky.

This was my first time there and it was great and very informative. The tour guide was very impressive with all the history of Hawaii and very proud of it.

Despite getting up a dark o'clock, this trip is worth doing. The sunrise is spectacular and the pictures you get are just wonderful. The guide was excellent and cheerful from the start at 2 am! Breakfast is good too and you are awake for it. Recommend you do this one when you visit Maui.

I organized my itinerary to see the Subaru Telescope and the beautiful Milky Way during this time, but at first, I was worried because it was cloudy. However, thanks to the guide's energetic power, the clouds disappeared, and I was able to enjoy a truly wonderful night sky. I was also very impressed that we could have such a fantastic bento and miso soup, along with warm drinks at the Onizuka Center and the summit. It was a fulfilling half-day, and I was able to see Saturn's rings after a long time. I'm looking forward to the photos you took. I felt the thin air at 4,000 meters, and with the guide's appropriate instructions, I was able to enjoy the experience without feeling unwell. I hope to have another opportunity.

天文台すばると美しい天の川を見たくて、この時期にエントリーできるように旅程を組みましたが、最初曇りでどうなることかと気をもみました。しかし、最後はガイドさんの元気なパワーで雲がどこかに飛んで行ってしまってとても素晴らしい夜空を堪能できました。途中のオニズカセンターと山頂で、であんな素晴らしいお弁当とお味噌汁、暖かい飲み物がいただけるなんて大感激です。土星の輪も久しぶりに見ることができてとても充実した半日でした。撮っていただいた写真も楽しみにしています。４０００ｍの空気の薄さを実感でき、ガイドさんに適切なご指導で、気分が悪くなることもなく楽しめました。また、機会があればと思います。

Last year, when I participated in a stargazing tour on Oahu, my guide told me, "If you want to see stars, Hawaii Island is the best." So this time, I joined a stargazing tour on Hawaii Island. The sky was clear, and I was able to see a wonderful starry sky. I also saw a shooting star for the first time. I was worried about altitude sickness, but our guide, Matsuzaki, provided very interesting and accurate advice, so I was able to enjoy the experience without feeling unwell. We took a break for a bento lunch, which was satisfying in both taste and portion size. There were various tour companies available, but I am grateful to have participated in this company's tour. I believe it is due to the high quality of the guide. I received pleasant service that showed care for each individual customer. I highly recommend it. I was informed that it would be good to consider sunset and sunrise tours, taking into account the full moon period, so I wanted to share that as a reference.

昨年オアフ島で星空ツアーに参加した時のガイドさんから「星を見るならハワイ島が良いですよ」と教えていただき、今回ハワイ島の星空ツアーに参加しました。空は良く晴れていて素晴らしい星空を見ることができました。流れ星も初めて見られました。高山病が心配だったのですが、ガイドの松崎さんがとても面白く的確なアドバイスをしてくれたので、体調を崩すことなく最高の思い出ができました。体を慣らすためにお弁当タイムをとったのですが、味も量も満足でした。いろいろなツアー会社がありましたが私はこの会社のツアーに参加できたことに感謝しています。それはガイドさんのクオリティーの高さだと思います。お客一人一人に気配りができた気持ちの良いサービスを受けることができました。ぜひおすすめです。満月の時期を考慮してサンセットとサンライズツアーを考慮すると良いといわれましたので、参考までにお知らせします。

Last year, I participated in late August, but unfortunately, the weather was affected by a hurricane. This time, however, we were blessed with good weather. We had a great time with everyone, enjoying the sunset from 4,200 meters. After soaking in the atmosphere, we descended a bit for stargazing, and observing from the roadside was also wonderful; it had been a long time since I could see the Milky Way clearly with the naked eye. Additionally, we were able to see Saturn through a telescope, along with artificial satellites, shooting stars, and the red flames of Kilauea. I thought I could lie there forever just watching. Amidst all this excitement, the guide's explanations of the constellations were delivered promptly, which deepened the experience even more. I'm glad I participated. Thank you very much. I would like to join again in a different season next time.

昨年は，8月下旬に参加しましたがハリケーンの影響で生憎の天候でしたが今回は天候に恵まれした。4200mからのサンセットをバックに私たちも皆さんと一緒にはしゃいぎました。余韻を残しながら星空観測のために少し下り、路肩での観測はこれまたすばらしく、天の川が肉眼ではっきりと見えるなんて久しぶりのことです。また、望遠鏡で土星がみられ人工衛星、流れ星、キラウエアの赤い炎、このまま寝転んでいつまでも観ていたいおもいました。そして、この感動の中、なんといってもガイドの星座の説明がテキパキとなされ一層深まりました。参加して良かったです。ありがとうございました。次回は季節を変えて参加したいと思います。

Unlike the hotel luau in Honolulu, this one is more intimate. As a result of upgrading my seat, I ended up in a front-row seat near the stage. I was able to enjoy a powerful performance. However, even without the upgrade, the scale is sufficient to have a great time. Before the show started, there were activities in the plaza such as tattoo printing services, hula dance lessons, and a whole roasted pig, which were all fun to participate in. The food was decent, but the drinks were all-you-can-drink. Whenever I go to Hawaii, I participate in a luau, and I really enjoyed this hotel's luau. The hotel luau in Honolulu has many performers and is quite impressive, but this one offers a local atmosphere of the Big Island. I highly recommend it.

ホノルルのホテルルアウと違い、こじんまりとしています。アップグレードの席にした結果、ステージの前の席になりました。迫力あるステージを楽しめました。ただアップグレードしなくてもじゅぶん楽しめる規模です。ショーが始まる前の広場ではタトゥーのプリントサービスやフラダンスのレクチャー、豚の丸焼きなど参加できるものがあり楽しかったです。食事はまあまあですが、飲み物は飲み放題でした。私はハワイに行ったときはルアウに参加するのですが、このホテルのルアウは楽しめました。ホノルルのホテルルアウは出演者も多くそれなりに迫力があり楽しめますが、ハワイ島のローカルな雰囲気が楽しめます。ぜひおすすめです。

Great tour with Jim Cary as guild very funny and knows his history of the town and events.

Fantastic trip, great crew, and the food was delicious!! We were lucky enough to have great weather as well, resulting in smooth sailing and an awesome sunset!!

The weather was unfortunately bad, but I was satisfied with all three courses.

The movie location tour was especially enjoyable, with the guide's stories being fun, and I loved taking photos with the dinosaur figures. I was thrilled to see the set of my favorite show, Five-O.

The jungle experience tour only had an English-speaking guide, but they explained things clearly, so I understood somewhat. They also spoke a bit of Japanese here and there.

On the boat tour, we were able to see the mountain range from the water, and when we went out to sea, the waves were strong, making the boat rise and fall like a theme park attraction, which was fun.

I was really glad they provided motion sickness medication, as all the rides had quite a bit of shaking, which was a big help.

I booked at the last minute, so this was the only tour available, but I would like to participate in horseback riding next time. It seemed that people in the horseback riding group were buying a locker key for $5 to store their belongings. It looks like it's better to go light.

生憎の天気だったのですが、3つのコース全て満足しました。

特に映画ロケ地ツアーのコースはガイドさんの話が楽しく、恐竜の人形とともに写真を撮ってくれたのがよかったです。
大好きなFive-Oのセットも見れて、感激です。

ジャングル体験のツアーは、英語ガイドさんのみでしたが、わかりやすく話してくれたので、
なんとなくはわかりました。
ところどころ日本語も話してくれました。

ボートのツアーは、水上からあの山並みを見ることができ、
沖に出ると波がきつくて、船が上下するのも遊園地のアトラクションのごとく楽しめました。

あると良いもので酔い止めの薬を書いておいてくださって本当によかったです。
どれもこれも結構な揺れを伴う乗り物だったので、助かりました。

間際に予約したのでこのツアーしか空きがなく、
今度は乗馬に参加したいです。
乗馬組の人は、荷物を預けるロッカーのキーを5ドルで買っているようでした。
身軽で行くのがいいようです。

My husband and and I made the trip to Pearl Harbour and visited the ship the Missouri and the very touching memorial. It was one of the best days spent on our Hawaii vacation. Our only regret was we did not get up and go as early as possible as there was so much more we could have seen if we had planned to spend the entire day there. The ship was amazing and definitely worth the ticket price. We didn't see the submarine or airport but we couldn't have squeezed anything else in that day. All round an excellent way to spend the day and have a real appreciation for the history.
One of the most amazing parts of the trip was the memorial. We were fortunate enough to have a WWII veteran visiting the memorial that day. It was very honerable how the staff escorted him on and off the shuttle boat and made way for him to the front the memorial. There were so many names you could not help but to look for a potential past relative on the wall and find your personal connection to history.
The Missouri felt like a time capsule. It was so interesting to see the way the sailers and army men lived on the boat. Very organized spaces in such tight quarters. One of the most memorable exhibits was the Japanese komakozi exhibit. They have letters written by the young men who sacrificed their lives in the Japanese Air Force. Very heart felt and it really hit home that all war is devastating regardless of the side you happen to be on.

First part of the trip was informative and somewhat interesting. Half way through we stopped for lunch at the Kualoa Ranch ,food was not bad. Then after the lunch break the trip became very boring. Drove along the north shore of the island for well over an hour without stopping to view anything. We then turned inland heading to the Dole Plantation which took another 1/2 an hour plus. Stopped at the plantation for 15 minutes to buy gifts or have a Dole ice cream??. Then it was off to home sweet home. Our Driver Leo was very cordial and informative and generally helpful with the boredom. This tour should at best last the first part of the trip and head back. Sorry

I was able to fully enjoy the dynamic sunset.
I had special photos taken using the sunset (like making the sunset shine with my fingertips, posing like Kamehameha, jumping, etc.), and I was able to download them as well.
I also enjoyed the starry sky. I was very satisfied to confirm my zodiac sign, Scorpio.
The stargazing seminar was also fantastic!

The tour started with two vans guided by Matsuzaki and Konno. The Subaru Telescope was amazing, and I felt the greatness of Japanese technology through the guide's explanations. The summit was cloudy, and we could occasionally observe stars (since we were at the mercy of nature), but the guide worked hard to find a viewpoint where the Milky Way looked like a sky full of stars. I was very satisfied!

スバル天文台が素晴らしい、ガイドさんの説明で日本技術の素晴らしさを感じた。
山頂は曇りで、たまに星が観測（自然が相手だけに）できたが、ガイドさんが頑張って、
天の川が満点の星空に見えるビューポイントを探して、大変満足！

We had Larry with Royal Star as our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a sense of humor which was a bonus. He gave us pointers once we were at Pearl Harbor which were helpful. We enjoyed learning about the history of Pearl Harbor. The Arizona Memorial was very moving. The USS Battleship Missouri was really cool. The ship is huge. We first were part of a guided tour where we learned about what took place on the battleship. After the tour, we were able to move around the ship freely and explore. We finished off this experience by touring the city. We learned a lot about the history of Hawaii. This was an awesome experience and we highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I loved the quite trip down the river the music was great and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend to all looking to relax and escape it all!

Until now, my trips to Hawaii have mainly focused on snorkeling tours and the ocean, but the magnificent Kualoa Ranch was full of mountain attractions. The jeep tour only provides guidance in English, so I was worried due to mixed reviews, but the scenery was beautiful and it was thrilling, allowing me to enjoy it even without fully understanding English. For those who haven't been yet, you might discover something new in Hawaii. Horseback riding and ATV tours were also popular.

Options can be selected on the bus on the day of the tour, but there are some options that cannot be chosen on Sundays and holidays, so I think it's important to be aware of that.

今までシュノーケリングツアー等、海がメインのハワイ旅行でしたが、壮大なクアロア牧場は山の魅力が盛りだくさんでした。ジープツアーは英語での案内のみなので口コミでは賛否両論あり心配していましたが、景色も綺麗で、またスリルもあり私は英語を十分理解できなくても楽しめました。まだ行ったことない方は、是非ハワイの新たな発見ができるかもしれません。乗馬とバギーも人気でした。
オプションは当日のバスの中で選択するのですが、日曜、祝日には選べないオプションがあり、そこは気を付けた方が良いとおもいます。

This tour was so great. Having a luxurious coach, a driver in training Toa and the Driver of the Year (2015/2016) Larry, the whole day was informative and fun. One of the greatest things I enjoyed was the amount of time we had at Pearl Harbor. Would highly recommend Royal Star... Toa & Larry treated us all like royalty.
If you choose to do this tour, I highly recommend the USS Missouri which took me around two hours. It gave me a great insight into what it must have been like on the Arizona when the Japanese struck and how so many brave soldiers were entombed in her.
Finally, I would again commend this tour company for the motor coach, professionalism, service, jokes and knowledge. It was well above my expectations.
