I read the testimonials and decided to go on this tour, and it was a great choice. The guides, Matsuzaki and Jin, provided wonderful explanations about the stars, and I was able to take photos with the sunset. It was my first time seeing the Milky Way, and I could download the photos taken for me after returning home. It was a tour filled with great experiences. If I have the chance, I would love to participate in this tour again.

First time booking a tour when visiting Oahu and was pleased with this company. Price was very reasonable especially because it includes transportation and advance tickets to USS Arizona. Bus was very spacious & clean & comfortable & on time! Our driver, John, was very pleasant & professional. Knocked off 1 star because I wish there was more time spent touring downtown. I thought this tour included Chinatown but we didn't even get close nor was it even mentioned. Honestly, Honolulu is not so big that more time can't be spent exploring. Three years ago, I attended a luau at a different hotel in the same area, but this one was better. The venue had various booths in a workshop format where you could take commemorative photos and lightly engage with Polynesian culture. There were henna stamps (though it probably wasn't henna, as it easily came off with wet wipes that night), toys like kendama, and board games. After experiencing the henna, we were guided to a table while enjoying free cocktails. We sat at a round table for eight with a group of four from England. The MC conducted the event in English that was generally understandable, even for us with just basic travel English.
However, the English spoken by the British guests was a bit difficult to understand, and there was a speaker right behind me, making conversation challenging. The luau had a nice size and a sense of unity. Since the audience was close to the stage, perhaps for safety reasons, the fire dance lost some of its intensity as the flames diminished while being twirled.
Still, both the male and female dancers delivered powerful and high-quality performances, and a three-member Hawaiian band entertained us with pleasant music during the opening and intermissions. Some comments mentioned that the event was long, and I agree it might not be suitable for children.
During the meal, they came around selling the photos taken at the beginning for $20. Being a tourist, I bought one generously, but I wished they had paid more attention to the background and composition. I forgot to reconfirm the reservation the day before and hurriedly called that morning, but it seemed there was no issue.
Participating on our last night in Hawaii was definitely the right choice. Next time, I want to study more so I can understand English better and visit again.

同席のイギリス人の英語が分かりづらいのと私の真後ろにスピーカーがあったので会話に難儀しました。程よい広さで一体感のあるルアウ。客席が近いから安全性を重視するのか、ファイアーダンスは振り回しているうちに火が小さくなっていってやや迫力に欠けます。
それでも男女とも迫力と完成度高いダンスパフォーマンスに圧倒されますし、三人編成のハワイアンバンドが前座、幕間を程よい音楽で楽しませてくれます。他者のコメントで時間が長いとありましたが、確かにお子さん向けではないかな。
食事の途中、最初に撮影した写真を＄２０で売りに回ってきます。おのぼりさんですから気前良く買いましたが背景など構図をもっと気にしてほしかったです。前日のリコンファームを失念し当日朝に慌てて電話しましたが問題なかったようです。
ハワイ島最後の夜に参加して大正解でした。次回、もっと英語が聞き取れるよう勉強して再訪したいです。

ハレイワでは、あいにくの雨だったのですが、ハレイワの道を一通り全てバスで周り、ガイドさんが事前に色々案内した上で、降ろしてくれる流れだったので、とてもわかりやすく効率的にまわることができました。個人的にテディーズバーガーがとろけるほど美味しかったです…
ウミガメは雨だったので無理かなーと半分諦めていたのですが、見ることができました！嬉しかったです。
そしてなんといっても乗馬！すごくよかったですよ。その名の通り、海辺をずっと歩きます。アメリカっぽく結構放置？笑気味だったのですが、そのぶん馬と交流ができて、楽しかったです。わたしが乗った馬はやんちゃな馬で、すぐ列からはみ出して草を食べに行っちゃう男の子だったのですが、そういう時にのみインストラクターのおじさんが対応してくれました。雨だったのだけ残念だったので、晴れの時にまた挑戦したいな！と思います。参加してよかったです！！

During my stay in Kona, I unexpectedly had some time off and decided to book a tour to climb Mauna Kea. There are many regulations for climbing Mauna Kea, and I think it was definitely the right choice to join a tour. The sunset at the best timing and location, backed by the guide's extensive experience and knowledge, was truly impressive.
In the unexpectedly cold weather, the bento we received was surprisingly delicious, and the warm miso soup and drinks were much appreciated.
The weather wasn't great that day, and I couldn't experience the starry sky as I had hoped, but even when it felt hopeless with clouds covering everything, the guide pointed out the slightest signs and assured us that it would clear up if we waited a bit longer, and indeed, we were able to see the stars.
I also learned how much the brightness of the moon affects stargazing, so if I have the chance to go again, I would like to visit around the new moon.
With my expectations for the starry sky in mind, I reduced my rating by one star, but overall, I was very satisfied with the tour.
コナ滞在中、急遽休みの予定がはいり、この機会に是非マウナケアに登ってみたいと予約を入れました。マウナケアに上るには規制が多く、やはりツアーに参加して正解だったと思います。ガイドさんの豊富な経験と知識に裏打ちされたベストタイミング、ロケーションでのサンセットはさすがだと思いました。
ハワイとは思えない寒さの中、いただいたお弁当は思ったよりも（！）おいしかったし、暖かい味噌汁と飲み物はありがたかったです。
この日は若干天候がよくなくて、降り注ぐような星空は体験できませんでしたが、全面雲に覆われて絶望的な感じになったときも、わずかな兆しを逃さず、もう少し待てば晴れると言われ、その通り星空を見ることも出来ました。
また、月の明るさは星空観測にはこんなにも影響すると知りましたので、もし次回があれば、新月に近い時に行ってみたいと思います。
星空の期待を込めて、星を１つ減らしましたが、ツアー自体は大満足でした。

What an incredible experience this was! From the moment we checked in until we hopped out of our vehicles, the awesome guides and employees made this an adventure that I will remember forever! We were all given a thorough briefing on how to operate the vehicles and did a few test laps before heading out onto the open road. The ranch and the surrounding areas are so incredibly beautiful and there were just too many picture perfect opportunities for us. Since I don't drive, my friend was my chauffeur and it was definitely some rough off-roading sections that had us bouncing all over the place. We even got to see where Indiana Jones jumped into the river and flew off in the first movie! So neat! I seriously can't wait to go again on my next Kauai visit :)

I went on a stargazing tour for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! I've never seen such a beautiful night sky before, and it made me so happy! I think everyone should experience this at least once in their life! The tour guide, Ishikawa, was very kind and thorough, making the experience enjoyable. I'm grateful! Matsuzaki was also a lot of fun, and the Ishikawa & Matsuzaki duo is the best! We were able to take photos with the starry sky as a backdrop, and I was very satisfied to receive the data for free!

Additionally, the breakfast, lunch, and snacks prepared by the guide were delicious and reminiscent of an American picnic, quite different from what we are used to in Japan.

The views from the summit of Mauna Kea, the sunset, and the stargazing were all amazing! It was cloudy on the way, but the weather at the top of the mountain was perfect! The explanations about the constellations were delivered so well that I was completely absorbed. If I can come to Hawaii again, I would definitely want to visit the Big Island and participate in Masashi's nature school tour. It was a truly satisfying tour. Thank you very much!

I had decided to go horseback riding in Hawaii, but I struggled to choose where to go because there were various plans available. Since it takes a whole day, this tour is a bit pricey, but I chose it because it includes transportation and goes to Haleiwa, and I was glad I did. The horses here are all gentle, and even if they stop to graze a bit, they come back quickly with just a little tug. It seemed like the other participants' horses were the same way. It's taken me several trips to Maui to make it to Hana. Why? The idea of spending all day driving my car on a dangerous road with 54 one-lane bridges and 600+ turns (meaning I couldn't even enjoy the scenery) just didn't appeal. But then someone recommended this tour...Instead of driving yourself on this treacherous road (and trust me, with all the amateurs out there it is treacherous), you ride in a comfortable passenger van with an incredibly knowledgeable and enjoyable guide. Instead of driving 3 hours to Hana and 3 hours back along the same route, you take a helicopter for one of the legs and see breathtaking aerial views of this gorgeous island. The tour is well planned, the meals yummy (even the vegetarian and gluten free options were fantastic), and the people were top notch. My only complaint was waiting almost an hour after check in at the heliport to get going. Otherwise, it was a perfect activity.
It might not have been Yamapi, but the person who came to pick me up was indeed Yamapi, known from Hawaii Love! The conversation in the car was interesting, and even though it was a long tour, I was entertained the whole time! I want to participate again with my family!
