I was able to join the tour right at the moment of the countdown from the Heisei era to the Reiwa era in Japan, and it felt like I was welcoming a new era while enjoying the sunset at Haleakalā.

Additionally, the starry sky in the best condition was more amazing than I had imagined, and Yamapi's stories brought forth feelings of gratitude and various emotions. When taking photos, he even checked the settings on my camera and smartphone, allowing me to capture pictures that I truly wanted to keep.

It was a fun and wonderful tour that makes me want to participate every year. Thank you very much!

On the third day of my first stay in Hawaii, I suddenly wanted to go on a boat, so I searched online for optional tours and found this sunset cruise on Veltra. I actually wanted to go on a sunset catamaran yacht for about $50, but the day we wanted to go, it wasn't operating, so we reluctantly booked this $96 buffet cruise.

I'm glad we were able to book it on short notice.

In the end, it was a great decision! The space was wide enough to walk around, allowing us to enjoy views of the ocean and the city of Honolulu from various angles. The boat was large, so it didn't sway too much, and they had hula dancing and singing, which really made us feel the Hawaiian vibe! The buffet was also quite delicious, especially the roast beef!

While small boats are nice, I felt that larger ones offer more freedom to sit quietly, walk around, or have fun!

The tour took almost a whole day, exploring Hawaii's nature, culture, and movie filming locations.

In the morning, the first part of the tour was led by a woman tour guide who spoke Japanese well and explained the native plants of Hawaii in detail. She took us around various places, teaching us about food and culture.

The second part mainly focused on movie filming locations. We visited famous spots from Jurassic Park, Jumanji, and King Kong, making us feel like we were inside the movies.

For lunch, we enjoyed a buffet and ate until we were full. It was very delicious.

The afternoon tour was about Hawaii's ancient civilization and ruins, and since the guide spoke English, I could hardly understand what was being said. However, there were explanation signs with photos at each location, so I was able to understand visually.

My son loves Jurassic Park, so it turned out to be a fantastic day for both adults and children.

I took a taxi to the port instead of using the shuttle bus. The trip there took almost twice as long due to rush hour. I think those who don't use the shuttle bus should leave the hotel early.

Departure is around 7:00 AM. At the pickup location, you will receive a color-coded wristband for each tour, making it easy to identify which tour you have signed up for. You will also receive a schedule that clearly indicates what time to participate in each activity. There will be signs at the location with the names of each activity, so make sure to gather there before the time indicated on your schedule.

The movie location tour had a bright, cheerful, and adorable female guide who spoke Japanese. All the participants were Japanese, and the guide's stories were entertaining, making it a lot of fun. The breathtaking scenery was truly moving! If you've seen the movie, you will definitely be even more excited!

The jungle exploration tour had about 20 participants, both foreigners and Japanese, in one vehicle. The guide spoke only English, so I couldn't understand most of the content, but it was amazing to see beautiful scenery while driving off-road!

The Taste of Kualoa tour had a Japanese guide, and all the participants were Japanese as well. We got to see fruits and plants that you can't find in Japan, and there were tastings. It was a fun experience that you don't get to have often!

Kualoa Ranch is in the mountains, and the weather can change quickly. This time, it went from a downpour to clear and hot weather. It's a good idea to bring a towel and a folding umbrella just in case! It's definitely worth a visit!

テイストオブクアロアツアー、こちらは日本人のガイドの方でツアー参加者も全員日本人でした。日本では見られないフルーツや植物を見たり、試食があったり。なかなかできない経験ができ楽しかったです！

クアロアランチは山で、天気が変わりやすく、今回もスコールが来たと思ったら快晴で暑くなったりしました。タオルと折り畳み傘は念のため持って行ったほうがいいです！
行ってみる価値は十二分にあります！！

We participated with nine people, including my 83-year-old mother, three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a two-year-old grandchild. The lobster and steak were fairly good, but it was disappointing that the drinks took a long time to be served and didn't arrive at the same time as the meal. The Polynesian show and music were great, and everyone at the table was friendly. Before we docked, almost all participants joined in dancing, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, but that can't be helped. I felt like there wasn't enough time.

On the last day in Honolulu, I participated in a tour. It seems that lobster and steak are specialties here, but since the meal options overlapped with other optional tours for the three-star rating, I opted for the one-star all-you-can-eat crab and steak.

I was quite anxious about the meal quality given the one-star rating, but the crab was shoulder-cut snow crab, and the meat was decent, so it was satisfactory. Personally, I think the meal quality is sufficient even for a one-star rating. However, it was more of a one-time offer for seconds rather than an all-you-can-eat experience, as they only came around once to ask if I wanted more.

The show takes place in several areas on the same floor, so you can see it well from any seat. I recommend going to the top of the boat for a better view of the scenery.

ホノルル最終日に参加してきました。こちらはロブスター&ステーキが名物なのか3スターの場合、他のオプショナルツアーと食事内容がかぶっていたため、1スターのカニ食べ放題とステーキで申し込みました。
1スターという事で食事内容にかなり不安を感じていましたが、カニは肩付きズワイガニ、身入りも悪くなくまずまずでした。個人的には食事内容はワンスターでも十分だと思います。ただ食べ放題と言うよりは、一度だけおかわりを聞きにきてくれただけでした。
ショーは、同じフロア内で何ヶ所かにわかれて行われるので、どの場所に座ってもよく見る事が出来ます。
景色は船の1番上に上がって見る方が綺麗に見えると思うのでおすすめです。

It felt like I was inside a movie! I'm glad I had a great experience!

One downside was that I didn't quite understand the initial explanation, and when I asked for clarification, it seemed like the male guide who spoke Japanese explained it very reluctantly. It was disappointing to encounter an unfriendly person.

Other than that, it was great that they explained things in a fun way, mixing in jokes in both English and Japanese.

少し残念なのが、最初の説明がよく解らなかったので、聞き直したら凄くめんどくさそうに説明されました、日本語が出来る男性ガイドで不親切な人がいたのが残念でした‍♂️

その他は英語でも、日本語でもジョークをまじえて楽しく説明してくれているのが、伝わって来て良かったです(^^)
