I participated in the Mauna Kea stargazing tour led by the tour guide Yorkie. It was great that Yorkie could speak Japanese, allowing us to hear explanations about the constellations in our language. During the drive up to the summit, he reminded us several times about measures to prevent altitude sickness, and we all practiced deep breathing together. I wanted to enjoy Matsumoto Shave Ice and Huli Huli Chicken in Haleiwa, so I opted for the 3-hour stay course. On the way there, we didn't have much time to relax at the Dole Presentation, but we managed to buy some limited edition items and eat ice cream before heading to Haleiwa. We were able to visit all the places we aimed for, and the weather was so nice that I felt three hours wasn't enough! It was a fulfilling tour.

I think you can either join a tour or drive a rental car to Haleiwa, but I wasn't in the mood to drive, so joining the tour was the right choice! Since it was after Thanksgiving, the roads were clear, and we didn't get stuck in traffic, allowing us to enjoy the day without stress.

ハレイワでマツモトシェイブアイスやフリフリチキンを楽しみたかったので3時間滞在コースにしました。
行きの途中で寄るドールプレゼンテーションはあまりゆっくりしている暇がありませんでしたが限定品を買ったりアイスを食べハレイワへ。目的の場所はすべて行けた上に天気も良く３時間じゃ足りない！と思えるほど充実のツアーでした。
ハレイワまではツアーに参加するかレンタカーを自分で運転するかになるかと思いますが車を運転する気にはなれずツアーに参加して正解でした！感謝祭後ということもあり道も空いていて渋滞にもはまらずストレスなく過ごせました。

It was an English tour, but I appreciated that they provided explanations in Japanese here and there. The sunset at Mauna Kea was truly beautiful, and as we drove up, I could feel the temperature dropping gradually with the increasing elevation, which made me realize just how high the mountain is. I can't believe we could drive all the way to the summit!

The photo opportunities were fantastic, with many great poses suggested, and the friendly service was reassuring. We were the only Japanese people in the car, so I was very grateful for the care we received. The night sky was also breathtaking, with the Milky Way visible—it was an emotional experience!

I participated in a similar tour with a different company about ten years ago, but I noticed some great differences this time: the sandwiches were delicious, they took a lot of photos, and the number of silversword plants at the Onizuka Center has significantly increased thanks to conservation efforts. I definitely think this is a must-do tour on the Big Island!

My first skydiving experience was amazing, as I got to enjoy the breathtaking views of Hawaii from the sky!

I felt no fear at all and was able to fly while being healed by the beautiful sea, sky, and islands of Hawaii, along with the pleasant breeze. There were many Japanese participants, and since we supported each other with any uncertainties, I didn't have to worry about the language barrier.

On the day of the jump, I had the option to choose a higher altitude for the dive when making the payment. After jumping, we descended slowly with the parachute, giving us more floating time than I had imagined, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the scenery. However, jumping from a higher altitude seems like it would provide an even more exhilarating experience!

I definitely want to try skydiving again!

人生初のスカイダイビング、ハワイの絶景を空から満喫できて最高でした！

恐怖感は一切なく、美しい海と空とハワイの島、心地良い風に癒されながら飛ぶことができました。

I had an e-bike experience at Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii. To put it simply, I highly recommend it!

The difficulty level is very easy, so anyone who can ride a regular bike will have no problem enjoying it. It's essential to wear shoes that cover your toes (no open-toed sandals), and since some parts of the path can be a bit wild, I think wearing long pants is a safer choice.

There is an initial operation explanation, but it's all in English. However, the content is very simple, and if you understand basic English, you'll be able to grasp it easily. What impressed me even more was the hospitality of the guide who accompanied us. They were incredibly kind and passionately took photos at every scenic spot (laughs). Plus, the photos turned out surprisingly well!

Exploring the vast and beautiful Kualoa Ranch while feeling the wind on an e-bike was an amazing experience. I will never forget the exhilaration of riding downhill.

For anyone wanting to enjoy nature in Hawaii, I wholeheartedly recommend this activity!

結論から言うと、めちゃくちゃおすすめです！

難易度はとてもやさしくて、普段から普通の自転車に乗れる人なら誰でも問題なく楽しめるレベル。
足元はつま先が覆われた靴（穴あきサンダルはNG）必須で、道が少しワイルドなところもあるので長ズボンの方が安心だと思います。

最初に操作説明がありますが、すべて英語。ただし内容はとてもシンプルで、簡単な英語が分かれば十分理解できます。
それ以上に印象的だったのが、一緒に回ってくれるガイドさんのホスピタリティ。本当に親切で、絶景スポットごとに情熱的に写真を撮ってくれます（笑）。しかも写真がびっくりするくらい上手！

広大で美しいクアロア・ランチを、eバイクで風を感じながら巡れるのは最高の体験でした。
特に下り坂を走るときの爽快感は忘れられません。

ハワイで自然を満喫したい人には、心からおすすめしたいアクティビティです！

With my sixtieth birthday a few years behind me, I was worried if I could handle two hours of riding. However, my daughter reassured me with a casual "You'll be fine" and I decided to give it my all. I started incorporating exercise into my routine a few months ago to prepare.

In the end, I'm really glad I did it! This was my third time horseback riding in Hawaii, but it felt like the course was different from the last time. I might be mistaken, though, since Kualoa is so vast.

The horse I rode was very smart. My son's horse, on the other hand, kept trying to eat grass and didn't want to move, which seemed challenging for him. But it seems like he enjoyed that too.

Our family of four created some wonderful memories together. Thank you very much!

I signed up to enjoy the sunset and stargazing from the mountaintop. Since we traveled by car, it was easy to head to the summit, but in reality, reaching an altitude of 4,200 meters involved a 20-minute journey on a gravel road, along with battling the invisible threat of altitude sickness, which was quite the challenge! After enduring headaches and slight breathlessness, a breathtaking view awaited us at the top!

Fortunately, we were blessed with good weather and were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars, making it a perfect 120-point tour experience! Lastly, I experienced mild altitude sickness for the first time, but I found that listening to the staff's advice helped alleviate the symptoms. However, I recommend not overexerting yourself and moving around too much.

I have a fear of heights, so I was really nervous when I got on the Cessna and went up into the sky. When it was time to jump, the instructor encouraged me, and before I knew it, I was flying! The view was amazing, absolutely the best!

It's a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand, as some people did get sick. As for the instructors, it seems like there can be a mix. We participated as a pair, and one instructor took a lot of photos and was very encouraging, while the other one was a bit cold, haha.

I was able to enjoy a world I've never seen above the clouds! The stars were so numerous when it got dark that I couldn't even recognize the constellations, which was very moving. Our Japanese guide explained about the observatory and the stars in a way that was easy to understand, and they patiently helped us until we could find the constellations.

The road to the summit was bumpy, and I felt a bit of discomfort at the top, but having the tour guide with us made me feel at ease.

I'm really glad I participated in this tour!
