Out of the nine participants, we were the only two Japanese, and my wife didn't understand any English at all, but it was really comforting to have explanations in Japanese. The guide didn't even take a break to eat and prepared everything for us, for which we are truly grateful. The starry sky was absolutely amazing, and I was reminded of the summer constellations like the Summer Cross and Subaru that I had studied long ago, which I had completely forgotten about. At the end, the guide spoke in English, passionately discussing the vastness of the universe compared to the shortness and significance of human life, which left a deep impression on me as I got into the car (though I think my wife didn't understand). Initially, I thought it was naive to try to climb Haleakalā by myself. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

There were three instructors with us, which made it very safe, but since the explanations were in English, I couldn't understand anything they were saying. When I expressed this, they showed me a video in Japanese, which made me feel more at ease.

The Manoa Falls Trail has beautiful scenery and it’s an easy/ moderate hike going up. But the Manoa Falls at this time ( November) has little water but still worth the hike and a lot of great spots for IG.
Orlando our tour guide is very knowledgeable and made a lot of good recommendations around Honolulu. He provided us with water and bug spray. He is on time picking us up in the hotel.

This tour was highly recommended! The view from the summit was amazing, and the experience of watching the sunset and stargazing really lifted my spirits. Additionally, the guide covered the challenging parts, which made it much easier on both my body and mind.

The tour takes half a day, but during the travel, I listened to the guide's explanations, and at each spot, we took our time to thoroughly explore Mauna Kea, making for a fulfilling experience. I think preparing to go on your own would be quite difficult, but this tour takes care of altitude acclimatization, time management for descending, providing warm clothing and telescopes, as well as sandwiches and hot cocoa. Plus, I could rely on them for the long drive, making it a very convenient experience.

Being able to drive to this altitude is rare worldwide, and this tour minimizes the burden while maximizing the experience. Overall, it was fantastic, and there were no inconveniences at all.

The two-hour horseback riding was quite long, so my rear ended up hurting, but it was worth it. I was moved when I walked through the forest and saw the ocean. Surrounded by the forests of Kualoa, I was truly awed by the magnificent scenery throughout. The guide spoke English, but even if you don't understand, you can still enjoy it enough.

Since the shuttle arrived early, we had quite a bit of time on-site. There was a good 2 to 3 hours to spare. You can look at the horses, visit the souvenir shop, and have lunch. There were also lockers available, which were convenient as they were the type you could easily access.

With an instructor, I boarded a Cessna and went diving! The view was just like looking out of the small airplane window, above the clouds. One by one, we took off, and before I knew it, it was my turn! I felt no sense of reality about diving because we were so high up, and then suddenly, we jumped. We dove straight down, spreading our arms and legs into the diving position. Even while descending rapidly, I had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. After a while, the parachute opened, and we descended gently. I savored the views over the mountains and the ocean. It's something I wouldn't do in Japan, but I found the courage to dive because it was Hawaii. I was filled with anxiety right up until the moment, but I'm glad I did it.

Well organized, the guides were great, kind, and fun! It's ok to take your personal stuff, they put everything in a plastic tub and it's in employee hands at all times. Gloves and helmets were clean and in good condition. Bathrooms and changing rooms at the warehouse and porta available at the picnic spot, they offer sanitizer.

I was worried after reading the low reviews, but I had a great time. The bus had bad reviews, but the driver was a cheerful guy. We took the bus and checked in upon arrival. The check-in was done on an iPad, but everything was in English, so I used a translation app to input my information. As long as you do the final check and sign properly, it seems like the rest can be done casually. If you accidentally press the home button, you have to start over, so I just kept pressing next.

After that, I received a paper to give to the instructor and waited. During this time, they mentioned a fuel fee of $15 per person and asked if I wanted to take photos or videos. I declined. When my instructor arrived, I received an explanation, but I didn't understand much. Luckily, there was a Japanese staff member who helped translate. The instructions included lifting my chin a bit, holding the harness, raising my legs and arching my back when we jumped, and spreading my arms wide when they tapped my shoulders as a signal to indicate I was ready. For landing, they explained not to extend my legs but to keep them lifted.

Then we waited for the helicopter, and they tried to sell us photos and videos again during that time. They approached me three times, but I declined each time.

Finally, it was time to jump! It was high, and I felt a bit scared, but as long as I screamed while jumping, I was fine. After the parachute opened, I felt really nauseous (I have a weak vestibular system and can't ride attractions like the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios Japan).

Afterward, I received a certificate of completion and an envelope. I put a tip (I decided on $20) in the envelope and placed it in a clear box to finish up.

Regarding tips for the bus ride back, I noticed some people didn’t give any, but as mentioned in the reviews, when I gave $10, they were very grateful, so I recommend giving a tip.

Since I have a very weak vestibular system, I probably won’t do this again, but I'm glad I chose this place. There are additional costs for sales and payments, but aside from that, everything was good, so I’d rate it 4 stars.

あとは飛ぶだけです！高くて少しチビりそうでしたが奇声上げながら飛べば大丈夫です。パラシュート開いてからはもう気持ち悪くて無理でした(自分は三半規管弱くてUSJのハリーポッターとか乗れません)
終わったら飛んだ証明書と封筒を渡されます、封筒にチップ(10〜30$わたしは20$にしといた)を入れて透明のBOXにいれて終わりです。
帰りのバス降りるさいのチップですが渡してない人もいましたが口コミにある通り10$渡したらめっちゃ感謝してたのであげてください。
自分は三半規管弱すぎるので2度とすることはないですがここを選んでよかったと思います。
営業と、支払い以外のお金かかるのでそこ以外はよかったので⭐︎4って感じです。

Yoshi was amazing, he made the entire trip up and down the mountain entertaining just by his talking, facts and nice collection of soothing music. We went with a full bus and still managed to make room for one extra family member, so eight of the back we were grateful for this. The entire sight on the top of the mountaintop was beautiful and alien like but the highlight was the star gazing where Yoshi quickly set up his two telescopes and chairs and blankets for everyone along with the jackets he had already provided us. This coupled with his extensive knowledge of the stars made the entire trip a once in a lifetime experience. I only hope that my soon to be wife and I can take our future children to this tour with Yoshi. I’ll put it to you like this, even if we hadn’t seen any stars I would have been happy just having him drive us up and down the mountain and I had already done it myself, that’s how much I enjoyed his commentary and the ride.

Our guide, Shoutarou, was amazing!! At the summit, he took some fun photos with the sunset as a backdrop, and he had a wealth of knowledge about the starry sky, making the tour enjoyable without a dull moment. He also looked out for the guests to prevent altitude sickness (it seems that falling asleep during the journey can make you more susceptible to it), demonstrating great leadership as he guided us. Staying at an altitude of 4,200 meters is an activity you absolutely must experience when you come to the Big Island, something you can't do while in Japan!
