I was determined to participate since I was going to the Big Island of Hawaii.
The view of the sea of clouds and the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea was amazing. The stargazing afterward was also enjoyable with very detailed explanations.
Additionally, the jacket rental and warm drink service were really nice. The guide's stories were interesting, and the time flew by.

As humans we are programmed for self-preservation. Walking off a platform into air is not something that comes naturally. The safety equipment was in tip top shape, the guides were helpful and encouraging. To take the edge off the hesitation they were jovial and kept us in good humor.

The most indescribable feeling and experience ever! I didn't get nervous until we were just about to jump but my tandem jumper (Bryan) was calm and confident and knew what he was doing. The view was incredible and I would highly recommend doing this! I would suggest wearing pants and/or long sleeve shirt. When you're up that high and falling that fast it was a little chilly (not terrible though). I was in shorts and tshirt and it was high 70s and partly cloudy.
I would definitely jump with them again!!!!
I wanted to go horseback riding, have transportation provided, and also visit tourist spots that are inaccessible without a car, so this tour was perfect for my greedy desires.
On the day I participated, the group was diverse, including solo travelers, couples, families, and repeat visitors.
Starting with the "This tree, what kind of tree is this?" spot, we enjoyed the Dole, Haleiwa tour, famous shrimp shops, sea turtle watching, and horseback riding, all of which were equally enjoyable.
The guides were attentive to the participants' wishes and tried to accommodate them. There was also a communication network among the guides, so if you wanted to see sea turtles, the chances of spotting them were quite high.

It was a very educational tour with a breathtaking view. I just expected astronomy but the tour guide knew a great deal about volcanos, geology and island plant and animal life as well. The guide was awesome and I love taking tours with someone as trained and passionate about his work as this guy was. The food was so-so but it was hot and ready. The bus was cramped but it got us there and had big windows for great viewing. Once at the top, the observatories were incredible to look at as they opened up for evening viewing. The view of the sunset was also breathtaking, and not just from the lack of oxygen on top of the mountain. Once we headed back down for stargazing, our guides did a great job of pointing out astronomy as we used there 11 inch telescopes. Very great tour and highly recommended!

It was my honeymoon, but my wife decided not to go, so I participated alone. I had always wanted to try skydiving at least once in my life, and when I found out I could do it cheaply in Hawaii, I signed up.

The day started off cooler than expected but the staff was extremely motivating and friendly so I'm glad we did it. A long bumpy ride to the entry site and then they put the tubes in the stream and it was a go from there. The water was brisk but once your butt was numb you hardly noticed anymore. Going through the tunnels was awesome and it felt like and adventure through the jungle. Nothing to worry about as the guides are with you the entire time. A nice healthy lunch in the sun to warm back up and then it was back to the shop. All in all, it was a lot of fun!

My daughter and I only had two days in Hawaii and I am so glad that two hours of it was riding at Kualoa Ranch. As a family with teenagers this trip catered to our needs. Our trip up the mountain was very good and our stop at the visitors centre for our meal gave us a chance to acclimatize before moving onto the summit. We made it to the summit and saw a wonderful sunset before moving onto some stargazing. Our artic jackets were more than handy and we arrived back in Kona by 11pm.

The kids were wearing helmets, but no adults were, although I recommend wearing one if you're worried since it can be bumpy. However, there were no incidents of anyone falling off or almost falling off.
You can't take your belongings while riding, so I think it's best to leave everything except water and a compact camera in the rental car. We thought we could carry our backpacks, but we were told to "leave them!" and ended up placing them on a shelf in the stable.
The riding instructions are in English, but they also use some broken Japanese in between. I felt there was less to worry about than I expected.
While riding, once we started walking, the guide would shout instructions like "fumi! right! left!" if there was any concern. When they were shouting something in Japanese, I thought they were saying something to us and listened closely.
It was my first time riding. At first, my horse was quite restless, which made me anxious, but gradually we connected and were able to enjoy the ride.

なので行く前はとても不安でいました。
でも行って受付で渡されるのは、日本語の同意書でした！
よく読んでサイン。最後のところにヘルメットについての同意があるのですが、
着用しないともし万が一の時の責任は負いませんよ、的なことが書いておるので、着用するに○をして提出したのですが「どうする？大人はあんまりしないかな！」って言われて、「あ、じゃぁNo！」って言ってあっさり着用しないことにしてしまいました。
お子さんはかぶってましたが、大人は誰もかぶっていませんでしたが、揺れるので心配な方は着用をお勧めします。でも、落馬した人も、しそうだった人もいませんでした。
荷物は持って乗馬できないので、水とコンパクトカメラ以外はレンタカーに置いて行くといいと思います。自分たちはリュックは背負えるだろうと持って行ったのですが、「置いて！」って言われて、馬小屋の棚に置いて行くことになりました。
乗馬の説明も、英語になりますが、合間合間で、片言の日本語を使って教えてくれます。
思ったより心配することはなかったなという印象です。

Mauna Kea is taller than Mount Fuji. Before departing, I was worried about whether I would be able to see the summit clearly since there were thick clouds covering it when I looked from the hotel. During the journey, our guide, Stephan (who speaks fluent Japanese, surprisingly for his appearance), made the trip enjoyable, and we quickly arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center for a break. I thought I wouldn't be able to enjoy the tour, but when I saw the sunset sinking into the clouds, I was so moved that I forgot about the altitude sickness! I've never seen such a beautiful sunset. Furthermore, the starry sky afterward felt just like a planetarium. Being surrounded by stars in over 180 degrees was breathtaking. I believe this is one of the must-see views when visiting the Big Island. Also, the guides from Masashi Nature School are all unique and fun, so I highly recommend them!
富士山より高いマウナケア。出発前ホテルから見たら山頂に厚い雲がかかっていたので綺麗に見えるか不安でした。道中、ガイドのステファンさん(見た目からは想像付かない程日本語ペラペラ)が色々な楽しいをしてくれたので休憩所のオニヅカビジターセンターまであっという間に付きました。ここで久しぶりの日本食だったお弁当と味噌汁が美味しく、体に染み渡りました。体を慣らした所でいざ山頂へ。ガードレールもないすごい砂利道！どんどん標高も上がっていくので山頂に着く頃には人生初の高山病に・・これではせっかくのツアーも楽しめないかと思いましたが、いざ雲に沈んでいく夕日を見たら高山病を忘れるくらい感動しました！こんな綺麗な夕日は見た事がありません。更に、その後の星空はプラネタリウムそのままという感じでした。180度以上を星に囲まれているのでそれ以上かもしれません。ハワイ島に来たら絶対に外せない絶景のひとつだと思います。そしてマサシネイチャースクールのガイドさんは皆さん個性があって楽しいのでお勧めです♪

乗馬初体験でしたが、とても楽しく参加することが出来ました。
ノースショアに行く途中、この木なんの木、ドールプランテーションも寄ることが出来、満足です。上記の２つはレンタカーなどを借りないと行くのが難しいと聞いていたので、このツアーに参加して本当に良かったです。
欲を言えばもう少し観光の時間が長ければ良かったな。
お昼ご飯は有名なガーリックシュリンプのお店に立ち寄ってもらえて満足でした。
乗馬はタートルベイホテルの乗馬クラブでの参加で、非常に満足できるものでした。
海辺で景色もよく、それでいて少し森の中も歩く感じだったので非常に気持ちよかったです。
小さい子も安心して参加できるツアーだと思います。
