This was a great tour. Our guides had a lot of knowledge and were great guides. They also took the time to help us both when getting on and off of the horses.

We all had fun, the crew was great but after our first experience in Mexico which was da bomb, this one was pretty mild. Views are great, the walk to the zip lines was very short which was a major plus. In hind sight I would look for a more extreme type company.

So much fun. Our guide was fabulous. He knew everything Hawaii related. All the activities were amazing. And all we had to do was show up and participate. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants an active Hawaii experience. I learned so much on our hike.

Second visit to Kualoa Ranch!
Last time I did horseback riding and a jeep tour, so this time I wanted to enjoy more horseback riding and signed up for a two-hour session!
I took a bus transfer to get to Kualoa Ranch. (You can also go by yourself! It takes about 1.5 hours, so if you have the early tour, it’s risky if you miss the bus.)
We arrived a bit early, so we took photos of the horses and the mountains to make use of our time.
You can store your valuables in a coin locker for $5 (you get $3 back).
After watching a simple Japanese video, it was time for horseback riding!
They seem to select a horse that suits each person.
The horses are very smart and didn’t act up at all.
It might get a bit boring towards the end, but I felt that one hour wasn’t enough, so I was satisfied.
We also saw places used for movie filming, but since the explanations were in English, I couldn’t understand anything at all. We were at the back, so when they explained at the front, we couldn’t hear anything...
There is a guide at the back too, but there weren’t any explanations like that.

They took a photo of me and my friend with my camera (just once though).
By the way, you can buy a photo of yourself on the horse for $15.

Riding through the forest while looking at the sea and mountains was very enjoyable.

二回目のクアロア牧場！
前回は乗馬＋ジープツアーだったので、今回はたっぷり乗馬を楽しみたいと思い、二時間で申込しました！
クアロア牧場へはバスを乗り継ぎ、行きました。（自力でも行けます！！1.5hぐらいかかるので、朝一のツアーだと、バスを逃したら危険です。）
私たちは早めに着いてしまったので、馬の写真や山の写真を撮り、時間を活用していました。
貴重品は5ドルでコインロッカーに預けることが出来ます！（3ドルバックされます）
簡単な日本語のビデオを見て、いざ乗馬！
おそらくその人に合った馬をセレクトされています。
馬もとても賢く、暴れることもありませんでした。
ちょっと後半は飽きるかもしれませんが、1時間では物足りないと感じたので満足です。
映画の撮影に使われた場所なども見ますが、英語での説明につき、まったく理解出来ませんでした。そもそも、私たちは後ろのほうにいたので、先頭で説明されるとまったく聞こえず、、、
後ろにもガイドはいますが、とくにそういった説明はありません。

持参したカメラで友達と写真も撮ってくれました。（一回だけだけど）
ちなみに15ドルで自分が馬に乗った写真を買うことも出来ます。

林の中を進み、海や山を眺めながらの乗馬はとても楽しかったです。

It was an incredibly fun and happy time. I was amazed by the breathtaking views and the skydiving experience!! The instructors were all veterans, so I felt safe and enjoyed myself.

If I ever go to Hawaii again, I will definitely go skydiving once more!

Overall, the sky is amazing. However, I ended up feeling unwell (~_~;) After flying, I experienced nausea and dizziness! This time, about 20 people flew at the same time, and only two of us felt sick... I was one of them. But the sky is truly wonderful. Everyone should try flying at least once.

Now, regarding the passage of time, we went to the site by rental car, but since we arrived after the tour, we had to fill out paperwork afterward and ended up waiting about two and a half hours before flying. It seems that during busy seasons, the wait can be even longer. Therefore, if you're going by rental car, it's better to arrive before the tour groups show up. They say to arrive by 8:30, but I think getting there before 7:30 would allow you to fly sooner.

At the site, there's an 80-year-old man named Masa who manages the Japanese guests. However, since he also handles the tour pickups, there are no Japanese speakers around during that time. If you’re told to wait by the foreign girl at the reception, you might end up waiting over an hour without being called. So, I think it's better to speak up, even with broken English, and push your way in.

The order in which you fly is mostly determined by the order in which you submit your paperwork, so once you arrive, make sure to get the forms and fill them out. As long as you're feeling well, I think it will be a fantastic experience. Oh, and don't forget to give Masa a tip. He's a really nice old man!

基本、空は素晴らしいです。ただ自分はやられちゃいました(~_~;)
飛んだ後に吐き気とめまい！今回は約２０人位が同じ時間帯に飛んだのですが、やられちゃった人が2人でした。。その中の1人です。。でも空は素晴らしいですよ。。皆さんも一度は飛んでみてください。。　
さて、時間の経過ですが自分達は2人でレンタカーで現地に行ったのですがツアーの後に着いたので記入書類がその後になり飛ぶまでに２時間半位は待ちました。繁盛記だともっと待つようです。。　ですのでレンタカーで行く人はツアーの人たちがくるまでに現地に到着した方が良いでしょう。８時半までに来てください。とありますが７時半前には行った方が早く飛べると思います。　現地では８０歳？のおじいちゃんでマサさんという人が日本人を仕切ってくれていますがツアーの送迎もやっているので送迎中は日本人はいませんから、受付の外人の女の子に待っててと言われてそのままにしていると平気で１時間以上も声がかからないですからﾌﾞﾛｰｸﾝｲﾝｸﾞﾘｯｼｭでもどんどん声をかけて捻じ込んでいった方が良いと思います。
現地で書類を記入して提出した順番で飛ぶ順番がほぼ決まりますので、現地に着いたらますは記入書類を手に入れて記入してください。
体調さえ良ければ素晴らしい体験になると思います。そうそうマサさんにもチップを上げてくださいね。。とっても良いおじいちゃんですからね。。

Skydiving itself was the best experience. It was an amazing experience that went by in the blink of an eye! I was already moved by the beautiful scenery as we ascended in the Cessna, but the sensation of falling through the clouds was something I had never experienced before, and it was strangely pleasant. After the parachute opened, it felt just like a walk in the sky. Combined with the excitement of falling, I was shouting "awesome! awesome!"

I hardly felt any fear once we started falling, and I truly understood why people get hooked on skydiving.

Ah, I want to jump again!

　スカイダイビング自体は最高の体験ができました。
あっという間の最高の体験！セスナで上昇していく時点で美しい景色に感動を覚えていましたが、雲に落ちていく感覚はこれまで味わったことのないものでしたし、不思議と気持ち良い体験でした。パラシュートが開いた後は、まさに空中散歩といった感じ。落ちてきた興奮とあいまってawesome!awesome!と叫んでました。

落ち始めてからの恐怖感は全くと言っていいほどなくて、スカイダイビングにはまる人の気持ちが身に染みました。

あーもっかい飛びたい。

Unlike when I jumped in Australia, there was a thrilling sensation of falling towards the sea. The instructors were all handsome. However, the driving during the transfer was rough, and I got motion sickness.

オーストラリアで飛んだ時と違って、海に向かって落ちていく迫力がありました。
インストラクターもイケメン揃い。
ただ、送迎の運転が荒くて酔いました。

After seeing the tree that inspired Hitachi's "This Tree, What Tree," we followed a course that included the Dole Plantation, horseback riding by the beach, and turtle watching.

Above all, horseback riding was the best! Riding through the lush, jungle-like nature while looking at the ocean was incredible. Although it was a long distance, I could see turtles from the horse as I gazed at the sandy beach. It was very refreshing and made me feel great.

During the "turtle watching," the turtles didn't come up to the sandy beach, but I was able to see them swimming in the water.

However, the driver was a bit chatty. His stories about his past work, which seemed unrelated to the tour (common among retirees), felt like listening to an old employee's tales at an izakaya, which dampened the travel mood. Additionally, when a couple on the bus mentioned they wanted to go to a certain popular tourist spot, the driver made some snide comments after dropping them off, which felt a bit awkward (they wanted to go there, so what's the problem?).

There were some enjoyable recommendations from the guide, and some of the stories were fun to listen to, so it wasn't all bad...

日立の「このー木なんの木」のモデルになった木を見てから、ドールプランテーション→海辺で乗馬→ウミガメを見る　といったコース。
なんといっても、乗馬は最高です！　ジャングルみたいな大自然の中を抜けて、海を見ながら乗馬。距離はありますが、馬上から砂浜を眺めると、ウミガメの姿も見えました。とっても気持ちよくて、かなりリフレッシュできました。

「ウミガメ見物」では、砂浜まではウミガメちゃんは上ってきてはくれませんでしたが、海の中で泳いでいる姿を確認できました。

ただ、ドライバーさんが少々おしゃべり？
観光とはあまり関係のない自慢話（定年の方に多い昔のお仕事自慢系）は、居酒屋でオヤジ社員の話を聞いているようで、せっかくの旅気分がそがれました・・・。その他、バスに乗り合わせていたカップルが、「●●（THE観光名所みたいな店）に行きたい」と行ったら、その店前で下ろした後、「なんでこんなとこ行くかね〜？」的な陰口（？）を、しつこく言っていたのが微妙だったり・・・（その人たちは行きたかったんだから、いいじゃないか・・・）。

ガイドさんならではのオススメスポットに案内していただけたり、お話の中には聞いていて楽しいものも含まれていたので、悪い方ではないのですが・・・。

Amazing!!!!
I was able to fly without any worries and had a great time. It was reassuring that Japanese was spoken, but the guide wasn't very friendly. I would have appreciated a note about needing to tip. It seems the standard is $20 for the tandem partner, $20 for the photographer, and $10 for the Japanese guide. I was planning to fly the day before my departure, so I was mostly using my card and ended up short on cash for tips, which was a bit of a problem. Of course, tips are based on your feelings, but I felt bad not being able to tip properly after receiving such wonderful service.
But it was the best experience. There are skydiving options with insurance, but having insurance means there could be accidents. It seems there have been no fatal accidents here so far. I really felt safe while flying.

By the way, adding photos costs an extra $120, and a package of photos and video is $180. It's expensive, but I bought it as a keepsake. I'm satisfied that I could show it to my family when I returned home.

最高！！！！
全く不安もなく、楽しく飛べました。日本語が通じるので安心でしたが、愛想はあんまりないガイドさんでした。チップが必要で、その記載があると嬉しかったです。タンデムしてくれる人に２０ドル、カメラさんに２０ドル、日本ガイドに１０ドルが相場のようで、最終日前日に飛ぼうと思ってたので、基本カード生活していたて、チップが足りず困ってしまいました。もちろん、チップなので気持ちで前後するのですが、すばらしいサービスを受けたのにチップをちゃんと払えず、申し訳なかったです。
でも最高でした。保険付きのスカイダイビングもありますが、保険がつくということは事故があるという事。ここは今まで死亡事故等は一切ないようです。本当に安心して飛べました。

ちなみに、写真をつけるとプラス１２０ドル、ビデオと写真がセットで１８０ドルです。高いですが、記念と思って購入しました。帰国して家族にも見せれて満足です。

It was my first skydiving experience on my honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. The instructor who jumped with me made the conversation enjoyable with jokes, which added to the fun. I would love to do it again if I have the chance. The waiting time is long, so I recommend bringing a guidebook or something to read.

The photos are a bit pricey, but they make for a great keepsake!

新婚旅行で初めてのスカイダイビングでしたがすごく貴重な体験が出来ました。
一緒に飛んでくれるインストラクターもジョークを交えながら会話してくれるので楽しいです。機会があればまたやりたいと思いました。
待ち時間は長いのでガイドブックなどを持って行くといいと思います。

I wanted to experience the forest impression that stays with you later, so I decided to join this tour in Hawaii by myself. The other Japanese-language tours didn't fit my schedule, so I joined this English one alone. They provided everyone with rubber boots. When asked what size I wear, I said 8, which fit perfectly (I wear 24 cm). They also allowed exchanges. There were some muddy areas, but since it was a stream over hard volcanic rock, walking was easy. I crossed the stream a few times and it reminded me of my childhood, splashing my feet in the water. Since I was wearing rubber boots, it was no problem. At the end, we took commemorative photos at Mano Falls. Although the tour was in English, the guide was also good at Japanese. The Aussie group with me ended up with muddy bottoms from the mud. I wonder why? Maybe everyone else was fine. It was a lot of fun. I also got to experience the aroma of the coffee forest.

海外では後になって森の印象が残るので、ハワイでも行ってみたくて一人参加しました。ほかの日本語版ツアーは時間が合わず、英語版のこちらに一人参加になりました。長靴を全員に貸してくれました。何インチといわれ8と答えジャスト（私は24cm）すこし大きめでいいみたい。交換もききました。ぬかるみもあったけど、火山の硬い岩のうえの渓流なので、歩くのは簡単でした。数回小川をまたいだけど、こどものころを思い出し水の中に足を突っ込んでちゃぷちゃぷと。長靴なので平気。最後にマノウの滝で記念撮影でした。英語だけどガイドさんが日本語もじょうずでした。いっしょのオージーのグループはぬかるみでおしりがどろだらけでした。なんでかなあ？たぶん、みんな普通はだいじょうぶ。楽しかったですよ。コーヒーの森のかおりも経験できました。

It was my first time skydiving in my life! Everyone in the group was Japanese, and the driver was also Japanese, so I felt at ease. However, the instructor who jumped with me was quite casual... While others were practicing how to jump, I was just fitted with the harness and that was it. I was watching a video on the bus, so I felt somewhat okay, but I was a little anxious. The skydiving itself was fun!

人生初のスカイダイビングでした！
グループ全員が日本人で、運転手さんも日本人だったので安心でした。
ただ、一緒に飛んでもらったインストラクターの人が結構テキトー・・・
他の人は飛び方の練習などしてましたが、私だけハーネスを付けるだけで終了。
バスでビデオを見ていたので何となく大丈夫でしたが、ちょっと不安でした
スカイダイビング自体は楽しかったです！

Diving from 4200 meters is exhilarating! When I go to Hawaii next time, I will definitely challenge myself again. I can't forget that feeling even after returning home.

The instructors were really cheerful, and all my worries disappeared at once. The weather was great, and it felt really wonderful! I would love to do it again if I have the chance.

enjoyed the fishing trip even though only caught one skipjack tuna, the crew were very nice and did their best to catch some fish

My husband who is DEATHLY afraid of heights had the time of his life on this!! The gradual build up in size of runs was just what the dr ordered to get him going. The water hole swim at the end was the perfect ending!!

Took Grammy and daughter (11) on this one. Both had a great time!!

When the time for the pickup arrived, an American got out of the car. Before saying "HELLO," he spoke fluent Japanese, saying, "Your husband is in the passenger seat." That's right, Stefan is a Samurai Blue born in Japan.

The day before, the name of the hotel was different from the reservation, which was a yellow card. I informed them about my leg issues. "I'll let the driver know," came the cheerful response. America is friendly to people with disabilities. Compared to that, Japan is a bit disappointing.

After finishing the pickups at each hotel, we headed to the Onizuka Visitor Center. It took about two hours, but with Stefan's lively chatter, we arrived in no time. We received drinks, miso soup, and a bento box. The person in charge of distribution was Matsuzaki-san, who spoke in a strange Osaka dialect. I finished my meal while glancing at the bento boxes from other tours. It was delicious.

After that, we geared up completely with ski pants, warm clothing, hats, and gloves to head to the summit. By the way, only Nature School lends out ski pants.

We switched from 2WD to 4WD and headed onto Saddle Road. The natural massage made my legs feel lighter, maybe? We stopped along the way for photos.

Finally, the long-awaited Subaru Telescope came into view. Excited, I went outside. It was cold. We took commemorative photos with the Subaru Telescope in the background. Stefan. (I wish he had told me my hat was a bit askew.) (Why is it that the Matsuzaki team is holding a banner and taking commemorative photos?)

The sky changed moment by moment, creating a romantic sunset. It quickly became pitch dark after sunset. We decided to descend within 30 minutes.

We did some stargazing around 3,900 meters. Familiar constellations like the Big Dipper, Polaris, and Scorpius were visible. There were so many stars that I got confused. I also saw the Southern Cross. I was disappointed in my own knowledge, thinking it could only be seen in the Southern Hemisphere. I saw Saturn's rings through a telescope. A cup of tea for a break.

Back to the Onizuka Visitor Center. Bathroom break. You must not sleep in the car on the round trip to the summit. If you sleep, you'll get altitude sickness.

On the way back to the hotel, I could have slept. But I couldn't because Stefan's Kamakura stories were so interesting. We arrived at the hotel after 11 PM.

It was long, but it was a valuable experience. (If I were younger, I would have jumped at the summit.)

Good job, Stefan. Go Samurai Blue in the World Cup! I'll cheer together with you.

当日ピックアップの時刻になり、車から降りてきたのはアメリカ人。「HELLO」と言う前に「旦那さんは助手席に」ペラペラな日本語。そうステファンは、日本生まれのサムライブルー。
　前日、ステイホテル名が予約と違っていて、イエローカード。足が悪いことを伝える。「担当ドライバーに伝えておきます。」と明るい声。アメリカは障害者に優しい。それと比べると日本はトホホ。
　各ホテルのピックアップを終了し、向かうは、オニズカ・ビジターセンター。２時間位かかったが、ステファンの軽快なおしゃべりで、あっと言う間に到着。飲み物と味噌汁と弁当をもらう。配布責任者は、妙な大阪弁のマツザキさん。他のツアーの弁当を横目で見ながら完食。美味しかった。
　その後、スキーパンツ、防寒着、帽子、手袋の完全装備で山頂へ。因みに、スキーパンツまで貸してくれるのは、ネイチャースクールさんだけとの事。
　２駆から４駆に切り替えサドルロードへ。自然のマッサージで、足が軽くなったかな？
途中で写真撮影。
　やっと待望のスバル天文台が見えてきた。心弾ませ外へ。寒い。スバル天文台をバックに
記念撮影。ステファン。（ちょっと帽子がずれていると言ってくれれば良かったのに）（何故だ。マツザキチームは横断幕を持って、記念写真を撮っているのに）
刻々と大空が変化し、ロマンチックなサンセット。日没後は直ぐ真っ暗に。３０分以内に下山が決まり事。
　３９００ｍ付近で天体観測。北斗七星、北極星、さそり座等の日本でおなじみの星座。見えすぎてわからなくなった。南十字星も見た。南半球でしか見えないと思っていた自分の知識のなさにがっかり。土星のリングは天体望遠鏡で。紅茶で一服。
　オニズカ・ビジターセンターへ。トイレ休憩。山頂までの往復の車中で、寝てはいけません。寝ると高山病になります。
　ホテルへの帰りは寝れます。でも寝れませんでした。ステファンの鎌倉物語が面白くて。１１時過ぎにホテル到着。
　長かったけど貴重な体験だった。（若かったら山頂で、跳んでいただろう。）

I took the plunge and tried it! It was amazing…! It was full of thrills. I'm glad I experienced it! I have no regrets. I felt nauseous once I was back on the ground, and since I’m satisfied with this experience, I won’t do it again. However, I highly recommend it to those who are interested. Just be aware that it can take a toll on your body, and I needed to rest at the hotel until the afternoon, so it's best for those without plans. Everyone else seemed fine.

思いきってトライ！すごかった…！
スリル満点でした。経験してよかった！悔いはありません。私は地上に降りたら気持ち悪くなってしまったのと、今回で満足したので二度とやりませんが、気になっている方には強くおすすめします。ただし、身体へのダメージも大きく、午後になるまでホテルで休憩が必要だったので予定がない方が安心です。みなさんは平気そうでした。

I had my grandmother, who has always wanted to ride a horse at least once, experience it. There were about ten people from overseas, and at first, she seemed quite anxious, but it seems her dream came true, which was great. She mentioned that she was a bit sore for a few days after getting off the horse.

一度でいいから馬に乗りたい！という祖母に体験してもらいました。10名程度の海外の方が一緒で最初は不安が強かったようですが夢かない良かったようです。馬を降りてしばらく数日筋肉痛？だったようですが。

Since my first visit to Maui for the millennium in 1999, I have returned four times over 14 years, and this time I finally made it to Haleakalā. Thinking it might be my last chance, I joined a tour. Maui is a healing island, and I spent my days relaxing, but at the summit of Haleakalā, I experienced not only its beauty but also the harshness of nature. The crater visible through the clearing mist and the clouds dyed in crimson were truly moving.

The paved road goes up to 3,000 meters, allowing even the elderly to reach the summit without having to walk, which is reassuring. I was also impressed by the well-maintained restrooms.

The starry sky was absolutely stunning. It was like a natural planetarium, with a sky full of stars! It was my first experience of this kind. The constellations were clearly visible, and I was able to see the Milky Way through a telescope, which was amazing. If I could wish for anything, I would have liked to see it from the summit.

１９９９年ミレニアムをマウイでと初めて訪れてから１４年４回目で念願のハレアカラ
最後のチャンスと思いツアーに参加しました。
マウイは癒しの島、毎日のんびりと過ごしていましたが、ハレアカラ山頂では美しさもさることながら大自然の厳しさも体験しました。
霧の晴れ間に見えたクレーター、紅に染まる雲海、感動でした。

３０００メートルまで舗装された道路、歩く事無く山頂まで行くことが出来高齢者も安心です。
整備された水洗トイレにも感心しました。

星空が又最高。天然のプラネタリューム、まさに満天の星！初めての体験です。
星座も形がハッキリ分かり天の川も天体望遠鏡で見せてもらえ最高でした。
欲を言えば山頂で見たかったです。

山内さんお世話になりました。

親はわが子が幾つになっても気がかりです、元気で何不自由なく暮らしている事が最高の親孝行ですよ。

本当に有難うございました。

Never zip lined before. Everyone from from the office people, drivers to our guides, were great. Knowledgable and made you feel at ease. Great scenic tour. Our guides were funny and made you feel good about zip lining.

Very nice views..pretty easy to hike..and the views were spectacular

The ranch and the ride was well worth the trip. My wife and I always try to go riding when we go on vacation. The ranch was easy to find, well organized, safe, and unbelievably gorgeous. Our guide was super nice and informative.

There were a total of five of us, including myself. The weather was cloudy, and it rained partway through. Last time (about five years ago), the guide was cheerful and prepared photo spots for us. This time, there was no such consideration, and it felt like we just walked around and that was it. I don't know if it was the guide's personality or the company's policy, but I was very disappointed.

　私ども入れて全部で５人で参加でした。天候も曇り空で途中雨も降りました。前回（５年前ぐらい）はガイドさんも明るく写真スポットも用意してくれました。今回は、そのような配慮もなく散歩してお終いでした。ガイドの性か会社の方針かしれませんが、非常にがっかりしました。
