This was my third time in Hawaii, and I finally got to go skydiving! It was incredibly fun!!!

I filled out the paperwork in the car and then fell asleep until we arrived at the center. Once we got there, we watched a safety video and waited for our turn. When I requested photos, a photographer joined us and started filming even before we jumped. (They can take both photos and videos.)

We took a small plane and went higher than I expected, and then we dropped in an instant. It's a shame that there weren't many photos with me looking at the camera, as I couldn't see where the photographer was. But the guide was definitely looking at the camera, which was funny.

Once the parachute opened, there was a detailed explanation of what we could see, and the beautiful scenery spread out before us.

After landing, they showed the videos in order, and my friends and I had a good laugh while waiting for the footage. After checking the video, I decided to buy it too! (But in the end, I just got the photos.)

We had to wait until noon for the return bus, so there was quite a bit of waiting time, but it was enjoyable to watch others jump and land♪

If I have the chance to go again, I would definitely like to participate!

すごくすごく楽しかったです！！！

車の中で書類を書き、あとはセンターに着くまで爆睡。。。
着いてからは安全に関するビデオを見て、順番を待ちました。
写真を頼むとカメラマンがついて、飛ぶ前からビデオをとってくれます。
（写真だけでもビデオもとってくれます）

ちっちゃい飛行機で思った以上に高いところまでいき
あ！っという間に落ちます。
カメラマンがどこか分からず、カメラ目線の写真が少ないのが残念。
でもガイドのおじちゃまはしっかりカメラ目線でした笑

パラシュートが開いてからはどこに何が見えるのか丁寧な説明もあったり
とにかく綺麗な景色が広がります。

着陸してからは順番にビデオの上映がされるので映像を待ち、友達と爆笑。
映像を確認してから、やっぱりビデオも買う！とできるようです。
（でも結局写真だけにしました）

12時にならないと帰りのバズが出ないので待ち時間はかなりありますが
ほかの人が飛んでいったり、降りてくるのを見ているのも楽しいです♪

また行く機会があれば、ぜひ参加したいです！

It's simply wonderful!! I wasn't scared at all. Even those who are afraid of heights will have their fears blown away by the amazing views. The scenery is truly breathtaking, and it liberates both body and mind; it was the best experience of my life.

Also, the instructors (Montana) and the photographer (Maynard) on the day were very friendly and reliable. The staff worked well as a team. The Japanese guide was also kind.

The photos and videos are truly fantastic, so I definitely recommend purchasing them as a package for those who will be flying. If you say a few words with a smile to the photographer in advance and express your preferences for angles, I feel they might provide a little extra service. That was my experience. Just a tip!

Honolulu Deep Sea Fishing Charter - Full Day Shared Trip

This was our first charter fishing trip both of us had ever taken. It was an unforgettable one at that. Captain Tony and Kelly were excellent guides and shared so much knowledge about both fishing and Hawaii in general. Both Captain Tony and Kelly warned us typically spring time is when fishing is best and summer time is a bit slower,but sometimes the fish surprised them. We ended up catching a Mahi Mahi and another gentleman caught a small tuna. Both catches were very exciting! Captain Tony helped guide us as the fish was being reeled in and most importantly making sure we were safe. If we ever make it back to Hawaii we will most definitely go fishing with them again but make it a full day fishing trip. Even if we had not caught fish it was nice to sit back and relax out on the Pacific.

We participated at the end of August with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old. We rode in a van with three families, a total of 12 people. The air conditioning in the vehicle was comfortable.

The guide was Japanese, so everything was in Japanese.

I was thrilled to see the trees, and at the Dole Plantation, the kids were excited to ride the pineapple train. We were on the train for about 30 minutes, which felt quite long.

They mentioned we might not see any turtles, but we were able to see a few swimming turtles, which got my 3-year-old daughter excited. For lunch, we had shrimp from Markey's! It was delicious! The Matsumoto Shave Ice was super crowded, but it was definitely tasty!

It was a tour that I can confidently recommend to my satisfied friends. Thank you!

まつもとシェイブアイス、激混みだったけど、確かにおいしい！

と満足な友人にも自信をもってオススメできるツアーでした。

Horseback riding on the North Shore was truly amazing. The only downside was the driver's poor attitude. I was told the car's air conditioning was not working well, but it was completely ineffective, making the environment inside the car terrible. I believe proper maintenance is the bare minimum of good manners. If you're in the service industry, I expect a proper response.

Me and my 9 year old son took this helicopter tour on September 5, 2014 and we had a great experience not only with the tour itself but also with the customer service provided by Makani Kai Helicopters. We really appreciate them accommodating our last minute booking. Pilot Broody was great and also provided a very good narrative of the places that we had seen. Since their shuttles were out at the end of our tour, they actually sent us back to our hotel in cab rather than making us wait for the next shuttle. we will highly recommend Makani Kai Helicopters.

I did it with my husband! He was more scared than I was, but after he jumped, he had a pretty relaxed expression. By the way, my husband was only comfortable with Disney's roller coasters, but I forced him to do this, haha. For me, Fujiyama is the scariest attraction I've ever been on. It was so funky and turned out to be an amazing memory!! It's much cheaper than doing it in Japan, so I highly recommend it!!

Basically, we relaxed at the hotel and drove around the island, but we did sign up for this one optional tour.

The sunset and starry sky were incredibly beautiful! We brought our own camera, but the tour company provided a high-spec camera and took many photos for us, which we could download for free—such a nice touch. I definitely think it's worth signing up for this tour if you have the time. It became the best memory of our honeymoon.

By the way, on the day of the tour (late August), it was said to be warmer than usual, but it was still surprisingly cold near the summit compared to what we expected from the hotel! However, the tour company provided miso soup and hot drinks, and they lent us jackets, so we didn't have to worry too much!

The guides were wonderful, managing our health and explaining the night sky. If you decide to join, I suggest preparing for winter weather. Depending on the weather, it was quite cold at the summit. If I have the chance to visit the Big Island again, I would definitely want to do this once more.

鬼塚センターでは小雨でしたが3000ｍを超えたあたりから快晴。雲海を下にみながら、日没をまちます。オレンジ色の太陽があたりを染め、日没後のピンク色の雲も見られこの段階ですでに今までにない体験に興奮。その後少し下山して星空観測。流れ星も人口衛星も見られ、最高の夜でした。ぜひハワイ島にお越しなら、参加をお薦めします。案内の人も、体調管理から星空の説明等、素晴らしかったです。もし参加するのでしたら、冬支度をお薦めします。天気にもよると思いますが、山頂は寒かったです。
またハワイ島を訪れることがあったら、ぜひもう一度みたいと思います

Unfortunately, the summit was covered in clouds, so we did stargazing from a slightly lower location, but it was a very good environment where we could see almost half of the sky, and we enjoyed it. Dinner was described as a makunouchi bento, but it was actually sushi without any side dishes (a sekirei bento) consisting only of carbohydrates. Everything else was very satisfying.

First of all, the diving itself was a very enjoyable experience. However, the following points should be noted by those who will participate in the future.

【Complaint】
The website lists a local phone number for inquiries, so when I contacted them in Hawaii on the day, I received a completely careless response. When I asked for the department and name, I was told, "I'm just an interpreter!" and was hung up on. The operator should be contacted immediately and should be fired before it becomes a major issue. It was extremely rude and completely unhelpful.

【Points to Note】
1. Pay attention to the weather. In summer, due to typhoons and wind conditions, there are many days when you may not be able to fly even if you have made a reservation. We barely managed to fly.
2. Pay attention to the transportation. If the pickup is 10 minutes late, they will leave without notice. Additionally, the return time is completely unpredictable, and we had to wait for quite a long time. We waited for nearly 3 hours. Even then, there was no sign of them coming to pick us up, so I requested to drive if they could lend me the keys, and only then did they reluctantly send a van to pick us up with 10 tour participants. If I hadn't made that request, how long would we have waited? By the way, it takes nearly 2 hours by car from Waikiki, and the actual diving time is about 4 minutes.
3. Pay attention to the contract. Before flying, we were made to sign a contract stating that we would not complain even if we died, which was very favorable only to the organizer. This information was not included in the tour details and could only be understood on-site. Even if there was a mistake on the part of the operator in case of an accident, it was a one-sided waiver of responsibility. Moreover, we were not given a copy of the signed document. If a participant were a lawyer, they would likely give up on the experience on-site.
4. The tips are too high. In addition to the tour fee, we were required to pay $20 each to the person who flew with us, as well as to a photographer and a pilot we did not request, totaling $60. Isn't tipping supposed to be optional?

The participants were mostly Japanese in their early twenties, and I, at 49, was quite rare. I was more scared of the contract than the diving itself. The 20-year-old girl I experienced it with was happily satisfied.

①天候に注意。夏は台風など風の影響で、申し込んでも現場迄行って飛べない日が多々ある。私達はギリなんとか飛べた。
②送迎に注意。迎えは時間10分遅れると連絡なく行ってしまう。また、帰りは全く時間読めず、かなりの時間待たされる。私達は3時間近く待たされた。それでも送る気配ないので、車かしてくれたら運転するよと鍵の受渡を依頼して、初めてOKと苦笑って送りのワゴンを出しツアー参加者10名乗せ動いた。申立しなかったら、何時間待たされたのだろう？因みにワイキキから片道2時間近く車でかかり、ダイビング自体の飛行時間は4分程。

アクシデントはありましたが、現地のスタッフ（女性２名）は親切でしたし、ビーチ沿いを馬に乗って歩くのは素晴らしい体験でした。
なお、トイレ事情は悪いので、済ませてから行かれることをおすすめします。

I took a 4-night, 6-day trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, and this time I booked the Mauna Kea summit sunset tour with two different companies. The weather was different, and naturally, the guides were different as well, allowing us to enjoy each of their unique personalities. Both sunset and stargazing experiences were satisfying tours from both companies.

This time, we had two vehicles for the summit and stargazing; one vehicle had a telescope while the other handled meals. At the Onizuka Center, we were even allowed to have seconds on the miso soup, and it was great that they provided over-pants and other rentals, reducing the amount of luggage we had to bring.

Participants from both vehicles gathered at the parking lot near the summit to gaze at the stars, listen to explanations about constellations, and we were shown Saturn's rings through the telescope. Every time we looked, we joked about whether it was a sticker! We also took commemorative photos against the starry backdrop, and while waiting for our turn at the telescope, we enjoyed cookies and warm drinks, making the time fly by without any boredom.

As expected from a renowned guide, it was a fun tour that kept us engaged throughout.

As a side note, bringing a small light with red cellophane can help reduce worries about footing during boarding, parking lot steps, etc. Also, the summit's basic restroom is quite dark after sunset!

4泊6日ハワイ島のみ旅行、マウナケア山頂サンセットツアーを今回は他社さんと2回入れました。天候が違いガイドさんも当然違いそれぞれの個性を楽しませて頂きました。サンセットと満天の星々星空観察の結果は両社満足できる良いツアーでした。今回も2台で山頂と星空観察、一台が望遠鏡もう一台が食事他の担当のようでオニズカセンターではお味噌汁のお代わりもOK、オーバーパンツ他貸し出しで持参する荷物が減るのはありがたかったです。2台参加者一緒に山頂付近の駐車場で星空を眺め星座などの説明を聞き望遠鏡で土星の輪っかを見せて頂き何度見てもシール？かと笑ながら、お話を聞かせて頂きました。そして星空をバックに記念撮影、望遠鏡他順番待ち中にクッキーや温かい飲み物を頂き退屈することなくあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。さすが名物ガイドさんの案内、飽きること無い楽しいツアーでした。
蛇足ですが赤色セロファン張ったスモールライト等持って行くと乗降や駐車場の段差等足下心配減って良いですよ。と、山頂簡易トイレ日没後は暗いです〜。

We were able to reach the meeting point smoothly by rental car. As expected, we were the only Japanese couple there. During the ride in the Jeep, we had a brief introduction and it was fun to chat in broken Japanese. There was a guide as we walked to the waterway. We just floated down the waterway on large tubes, but there was a tunnel along the way where we turned on our helmet lights and floated through. While it wasn't thrilling, it was enjoyable to just float along with the current, which was a unique experience.

やはり、日本人は私達夫婦だけでした。ジープで移動中自己紹介的なことがありカタコトで話楽しかったです。水路に行くまで歩いてガイドもありました。大きなチューブに乗りぷかぷかと水路を浮いて下るだけですが、途中トンネルがありヘルメットのライトをつけて浮いていきました。スリル的なことはないですが、ぷかぷかと流れに任せるのも変わっていて、楽しかったです。

Wow, we had the best time flying with Sandy and felt comfortable the entire time! The view from above is amazing and being in a helicopter is a "must" experience... And this is coming from someone afraid of flying! Great to see the Sacred Waterfall up close, the USS Arizona under water with the oil leak drifting off was unique, and just the mountains and valleys and ocean views are all beyond beautiful! I'd do it again...

We all had a great time as a family. During the horseback riding, several staff members accompanied us and provided solid support for the children, which made us feel secure, and we were satisfied with the ample riding time. Additionally, we stopped by a few shopping spots recommended by our guide, where we were able to purchase some great deals. Even during the car ride, we had various conversations and were never bored. However, it would have been nice if they had spoken a bit more slowly. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to participate once more.

We participated in the tour as a couple. We were moved by the starry sky and the sunset! There was a zone where we couldn't sleep due to altitude sickness prevention, but the guide engaged us with interesting stories and played songs related to the stars (we arrived at our destination while listening to familiar tunes). They were considerate at every turn. At the summit, I didn't feel cold thanks to the gear we were provided. Thank you very much!

This was awsome! We had such a great experience and being with pirates in the ocean and firing at other boats was the best. The kids said it was the best time ever! I agree 110 percent! Loved it!!!!! The crew stayed in character the entire time. Very friendly.
