Crew was so nice & helpful. Very disappointed that we didn’t even get one bite. They said they usually have live bait to try also but didn’t bring any that day. I know that no one can control the fish but I wish they would have had an alternative to try. It was a beautiful ride on the boat & very comfortable shaded area. I would try them again.

The sunset viewed from the sacred summit of Mauna Kea was the best, and the starry sky was truly beautiful and moving. The summit was much colder than I expected, so I recommend going dressed warmly. I signed up to enjoy the sunset and stargazing from the mountaintop. Since we traveled by car, it was easy to head to the summit, but in reality, reaching an altitude of 4,200 meters involved a 20-minute journey on a gravel road, along with battling the invisible threat of altitude sickness, which was quite the challenge! After enduring headaches and slight breathlessness, a breathtaking view awaited us at the top!

Fortunately, we were blessed with good weather and were able to enjoy the most beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars, making it a perfect 120-point tour experience! Lastly, I experienced mild altitude sickness for the first time, but I found that listening to the staff's advice helped alleviate the symptoms. However, I recommend not overexerting yourself and moving around too much.

車での移動でしたので手軽に山頂へ向かうことができますが実際には、標高4200mの高さまで辿り着くには20分ほどの砂利道を通ったり、見えない高山病との戦いもありました笑

I was able to enjoy a world I've never seen above the clouds! The stars were so numerous when it got dark that I couldn't even recognize the constellations, which was very moving. Our Japanese guide explained about the observatory and the stars in a way that was easy to understand, and they patiently helped us until we could find the constellations.

The road to the summit was bumpy, and I felt a bit of discomfort at the top, but having the tour guide with us made me feel at ease.

I'm really glad I participated in this tour!

The sunset viewed in the clear air was truly beautiful. It might have been the first time I focused solely on the "sunset" without needing to think about anything else. It was simply beautiful. The stunning scenery before and after the sunset allows for a wonderful time that lasts longer than expected. Additionally, I was able to see the Venus Belt when I looked back, but this time, due to volcanic gas, I couldn't see the green flash. I would like to participate again the next time I visit the Big Island of Hawaii.

This tour was highly recommended! The view from the summit was amazing, and the experience of watching the sunset and stargazing really lifted my spirits. Additionally, the guide covered the challenging parts, which made it much easier on both my body and mind.

The tour takes half a day, but during the travel, I listened to the guide's explanations, and at each spot, we took our time to thoroughly explore Mauna Kea, making for a fulfilling experience. I think preparing to go on your own would be quite difficult, but this tour takes care of altitude acclimatization, time management for descending, providing warm clothing and telescopes, as well as sandwiches and hot cocoa. Plus, I could rely on them for the long drive, making it a very convenient experience.

Being able to drive to this altitude is rare worldwide, and this tour minimizes the burden while maximizing the experience. Overall, it was fantastic, and there were no inconveniences at all.

頂上からの眺めは素晴らしく、日の入りも星見も気分が上がる体験です。
