The boat was very nice as well lots of seating and a restroom on it. Lunch was good burgers were tasty overall the only down fall was no cold water after the first like 15 min. So I would suggest bringing and insulated bottle thats filled. Would for sure recommend and do it again!

Such a fun day!
Reviewed by: Jen F., 2024/04/13 This was by far the best cruise excursion I have ever participated in, and I’ve done quite a few on Oahu.
Pickup was well organized and on time. The ride out to the boat was pleasant.
The crew in itself felt like family. They were the nicest people, very welcoming and knowledgeable.
Captain even jumped in the water with the kids and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Bbq lunch was great.
We saw manta rays and turtles that came right up to the boat,it was a really wonderful day and I can’t tell them thank you enough.
I will absolutely book this again next time we visit.

Such an Amazing Time!
Reviewed by: ChristinaSteach, 2024/01/18I was set on a tour that stopped at just the Sandbar, my mom insisted we do a tour that went to 2 locations... She was right! The sandbar is awesome and I encourage people to get out and walk around while you're there, play volleyball (if you want) or just enjoy being on land while under about 2 feet of water! Its wild! A Puffer Fish greeted us! She was much bigger than what I thought puffer fish were. We had burgers and drinks and were off to our second location ... the reef!! On our way we saw a bunch of sea turtles! They were HUGE! Some swam right up close to the boat! It was incredible. It was after a mild storm so the water wasn't 100% clear but still fairly clear. There were tons of colorful fish swimming all around us. I took a few mins to swim around the whole reef! Which every time I popped my head up and saw I was further away from the boat was a little scary and exciting! It was such a fantastic adventure day! My mom loved it, my kids were a little afraid at first at the reef but came to love it too! The crew... let me not forget about the crew! They are absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly,... when my daughter started to cry (9 years old) they knew her name and kept encouraging her! It was the sweetest! My son thought the main guide/lifeguard was the coolest and just wanted to swim where ever he swam (7 years old). The captain on our boat that day was a lady and also super friendly! Highly recommend to all ages and all skill levels! (I had my cell phone with a water protected case - i highly recommend. I purchased mine before the trip from REI, they sold similar ones in the ABC stores in Hawaii.)

Great time!!

GREAT trip!

We had a great time and saw a ton of beautiful fish around the reef and even more turtles. Worth it!

Fun and entertaining
Reviewed by: Katherine , 2022/11/24This was our family’s first ever experience, snorkeling. We did not use the transportation, but drove ourselves. Parking was easy. The check-in process was smooth and on time. The crew was friendly, professional, and extremely entertaining. Sandbar volleyball was a lot of fun and lunch was delicious. We saw so many sea turtles on our way to the reef. We are beginners and the reef size was perfect for us to go all the way around and see lots of fish and turtles. This was a wonderful experience for our first trip to Hawaii and we would definitely recommend.

Perfect for families!!

Great all inclusive snorkeling trip!

A Must-Do for Locals and Visitors!

Reviews seemed mixed all around (i.e., Yelp, Google, etc.) and what I "really" wanted was the tour that had all the additional activities, i.e., banana boat, stand-up paddle board, but it was completely booked. However, the experience on this specific tour was sooooo much better that I anticipated. I booked the reservation for 17 (14 adults + 3 children), with most visiting from the East Coast mainland with even quite a handful of locals for which this was their first time to Sandbar, and they were more than accommodating to our large party. At first, I thought the time allocation was too short for each excursion (1. Sandbar (1-hr), 2. Turtle watching (15 min.); 3. Snorkeling (1-hr)), but it was perfect! Any longer and it would have felt drawn out. The lunch tasted better than I expected. Not too little and definitely not too much (otherwise the kids would have vomitted!). So don't be discouraged by it JUST being a BBQ burger -- you'll be pleasantly surprised. Drinks were available on board - non-alcoholic (free) and alcoholic ($5 each) and they had quite a variety so don't worry about being parched! The boat staff was super energetic and had a really cool vibe. They informed you ahead of time of all the do's and don'ts and was always available to answer any and all questions and concerns. And lastly, the Captain really made the trip memorable! He was a lot of fun and you just knew he loved his job. The weather was perfect, so that too, helped to make the day. Overall, it was a very memorable experience and I look forward to recommending this tour package to the rest of our family and friends, local and visiting.

Nice to do, could be better

1 - I went in July & the sandbar water height was about at my bottom (I'm 5' tall). It wasn't good for any toddlers because they wouldn't be able to stand on the sand, so we had to carry our 2 1/2 year old the whole time. Current is a little strong for the toddler too. I was hoping it would be the time of year where the water was below knee deep so the toddler can enjoy.
2 - the only activity on the sandbar was volleyball, which I don't play. Other tours had other activities listed on their tour which I wish this tour had, especially for the price! It was a more expensive tour than others & had less activities than other tours I was researching. Other tours had live music. For the price, it should have more perks, The only good thing was that this was available last minute & they got us in which I appreciated.
3 - The food was good & the hot chocolate at the end of the snorkeling portion was great! However, like some reviews said, you could at least give us fresh pineapple vs canned. That was horrendous for this being Hawaii. Burger, beans & bag of chips was perfect!

First snorkeling for my boys and girls

An experience you don't want to miss!!!

We had so much fun and it's definitely something everyone should do if it's their first time visiting. The only thing is that they don't have towels, so bring your own! Otherwise it was such a fun experience for the family!

Great snorkeling fun!

I like that we had transportation from the hotel, and then a fun boat ride. They had life vests and snorkeling gear. The stop at the sandbar was fun because we decided to get used to the snorkeling gear while others played volleyball. And my daughter doesn’t swim so she was getting comfortable in the water there. Lunch was great, a nice bbq on the boat. And then the snorkeling was so cool! By the way there’s a ladder down into the water (especially good for kids but all the adults used it too.) We saw a lot of sea turtles on the way to our spot. And also while swimming. And as you know or will hear, you have to back up from them and give them 10 feet of space. But they are majestic! So cool to see the reef and all the tropical fish. My son especially loved it. The crew was all very great and helpful. I think it’s a great trip and we are glad we did it!
