It is rare to learn so much interrelated information (history, politics, economics, biological, environmental and ecological) so clearly in a short time. Our guide Brianna (sp) was bright, humorous and personal. Her knowledge both of Manoa Falls and Honolulu in general was most appreciated. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Amazing

But you get to learn about the land and why we are seeing so many different plants that really shouldnt be here. We also learned about why we are hea ring birds that normally wouldn't migrate this far.

It's the perfect half day activity for your visit to Hawaii
I went with my wife and daughter we both enjoyed it
The waterfall was only a trickle but that I can blame on nature

Manoa valley hike
Reviewed by: Lisa Solanke , 2014/06/28Great tour however a bit overpriced for a 20 minute ride and a walk thru the woods. A fair value for that activity would be $25. Excellent tour guide Brien who was very knowledgable of the valley.

manoa waterfall hike

Got Mud!!!
Reviewed by: Roger Joy, 2012/08/26It was great change from the sand and water. Be prepared to get wet and muddy but the sites you will see are breath taking. gets crowded but our guide (Sky) was very knowledgeable on plants and Eco system. a wonderful trip.

it wasnt that bad...
Reviewed by: trevor, 2009/08/31my tour guide for the hike was jeanette..she was a nice lady but she got to be a bit talkative and i thought personally she tried too hard at times..but at the end of the day i learned alot and i enjoyed the hike.id recommend this hike to anybody.

Reviewed by: Fountain/Smith, 2008/06/07This hike was great fun and even though Oahu is experiencing a draught Manoa Falls was beautiful. Our tour guide (Jeanette) made the hiking experience so much fun. She knew exactly how to pace us and when time for a rest stop it was always near an interesting tree etc. and she would take the time to give us its history. She was very knowledgable, friendly and patient. We learned much about Hawaii during our hike and she continued "teaching" us as she drove us back to our hotels! Great time and beautiful scenery.

Great time
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/01/29I just got back from Hawaii and we did the Falls tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The hike wasn't too hard, but it does get a little muddy and slippery. The walking stick helped me out. He stopped to point out good photo opportunities and took pictures for us. Our guide even took us to another location for a view of the city.
