We were a picked up from our accommodation and bought the full packages
There was a party atmosphere with the band playing on the boat on the way there and back.
The staff were friendly, helpful and relaxed but still professional
The activities were good fun.

Both my boyfriend and I had never gone snorkeling before, but this tour made it very simple, safe, and fun for us. The staff are all friendly and helpful. A must do if you are visiting the beautiful island of Oahu.

Amazing time out in Sandbar!

Unforgettable experience!
Reviewed by: Adrienne, 2023/10/02Would highly recommend this package for the sandbar. The personnel are very experienced and friendly. Live music was great.
There were plenty of activities to choose from, and a perfect amount of time to try everything. The boat took us to a quieter area of the sandbar, so we basically had a private area to ourselves.
I'm glad we booked transportation through the package, as parking was full when we arrived.
Would want to go on this again!

An Absolute Must!
Reviewed by: EC Garcia, 2023/10/02Everything about the whole experience was easy and convenient. We booked a party of 8 for a high school boy's trip and had an immeasurable amount of fun.
Booking was super easy and once completed you get a confirmation email and a waiver for everyone to fill out. Instructions were clear and concise and the check-in team members were friendly and accommodating.
Preston was engaging as he broke down the rules and expectations. Kaawa Entertainment, Jesse, and the Ukelele-ist kept us jammin' until we reached the bar. As we sailed away he was cracking jokes about us Cali folks, which was hilarious. The brothers Nohu and mimicked flight attendants by educating us on how to wear our life vests properly. The captains and the rest of the team shared their aloha hospitality with us serving us donuts for breakfast and keeping us hydrated with water and tang.
I will definitely come back and do this again!

Sand, Sea, and Throttle
Reviewed by: Jared, 2023/09/30We had the best time during our time at the Kaneohe Bay Sandbar Ocean Sports Adventure. The live music (an experience in itself) really sets the tone for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of the crew members told me to step on him to get into the kayak. Because he was shorter, he was underwater, while I used him as stairs. And we actually had to do this twice, because I flipped out on the first try. We purchased the package that included the bumper tube ride, and I must admit I misjudged our driver, who I think was the boat captain. For some reason, I was under the impression that she was going to take us us a mild tour around the bay. This was a prime example of don’t judge a book by its cover. Let me say this clearly: la capitana was all throttle. Honestly, the tubing was the best part of my day. I would recommend this to all. Great time.

Awesome as always
Reviewed by: JYB, 2023/09/01The only other ways to get to this beautiful gem is to rent a kayak and row your way here (appx 45mins each way, with no wind) or with another tour boat company. In Hawaii, the only way to a private boat is if you know someone who owns a boat, or if you are military (where you can rent the boat, but in Honolulu area).
I always enjoyed the going out to Kaneohe Bay with OSA.

Excellent Adventure!

The ride out to the sandbar was so lovely and relaxing with the live music. All of the staff was so friendly and check in and boarding went smoothly. The views from the sandbar were spectacular! We spent our time snorkeling, paddleboarding and soaking in the views. The live music playing from the boat really set the aloha mood. We would definitely book this excursion again!

Excellent experience
Reviewed by: Angela B, 2023/08/31I enjoyed every aspect of this excursion, from the moment i was picked up from the pick up spot in Waikiki, to the excursion itself, and to the return back to Waikiki. The banana tubing and regular tubing was a lot of fun, i do find myself as a snorkeling junkie, so I mostly snorkeled the entire time. I saw some amazing fish in the reef. I felt very safe all day. My friend did the kayaking and SUPing and enjoyed their time. The musicians were amazing. I would like to thank everyone for such a great experience.

Must do activity in Oahu

Snorkeling was amazing, the area was shallow with reef areas. The water was so clear, we could see many fish easily. Tried kayak and SUP and both were so fun even for us as beginners. Music was amazing, staff was super kind and welcoming. If we had more days, we wanted to do it again!

Best tour in Oahu
Reviewed by: STB, 2023/08/31There are similar tours available but this is the best tour by far! We chose the morning tour. Donuts (2-3 different types), orange juice and water were provided in a boat while going to Sandbar. Probably it took about 10-15 minutes to get there. 2 staff played live music and sang variety of songs. It was beautiful and they are great singers! In the boat, there are a few bathrooms for women and I believe one bathroom for men. Life vest is available for everyone. You can bring your own beverage including alcohol. You can do some water activities or relax in the boat. Snorkeling gear is available for free, kayak and SUP are also available though you may need to wait for your turn if they are occupied. Just being in the water (we went there at high tide and the water was close to my neck and I’m 5’4”) was relaxing since the water was so warm and clear. If you have small children, you may want to choose low tide timing unless your kids are comfortable with deeper water. There was no wave (very gentle water movement). I strongly recommend this tour to everyone. This tour provides something for everyone to have fun!

Repeaters 2 summers in a row
Reviewed by: STB, 2023/08/31This was our 2nd time. We did this tour last summer and it was so good that we came back again this summer! We’re 2 adults and 2 teens. Just like last year, this tour was the best highlight of our Hawaii trip. Tour staff are super friendly and funny and play/sing beautiful live music. We did kayak, teens did banana boat and bumpy boat. Snorkeling was awesome. The water is so clear that we could see sea creatures so close and clearly. Snorkeling gear was provided. It was so much fun and relaxing seeing the amazing ocean views. I wish the tour was longer! Felt like it ended too soon, I know that’s because we had a wonderful time. We will definitely do this tour again when we go back to Hawaii. Thank you for offering this amazing tour at reasonable price. We could make unforgettable family memories. Mahalo!!

Perfect day out on the BAY!

We were surprised at the attentiveness of the staff! Definitely suggest packing snacks & BYOB! The donuts going out was not enough… as my kids were hungry after all activities.Boat had changing stalls & bathrooms… and live entertainment! Defitnitely recommend adding the banana boat/bumper tubes! Was so worth our experience!

AMAZING! MUST TRY!

Fun experience

I loved the staff and musicians and the fact that they were so welcoming. Only thing I wish they had was an underwater camera to rent and buy pictures like other snorkeling tours in Maui. One of my bucket lists to do in Oahu.

I bit the bullet and purchased it; let me tell you, my experiences from the beginning to the end of the trip, it was magical. Just the drive to the location was a joy in itself, engulfed with the "aw" moment, witnessing the green mountains to the curvy roads. As we arrived at the boating dock, the instruction instructed us to check in near the deli Shop under the red umbrella. We were greeted by smiles and they quickly got us onto the boat after signing the waivers. The boat ride to Kaneohe Bay was worth it-the purchase included a simple breakfast (donuts, orange Juice, and water), live music (please tip the band), and the scenery was heavenly. The best part of this excursion was seeing my family enjoying every moment in the clear water, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The staffs were friendly educating us about the sea animals when we were snorkeling.
Overall, one of the best experiences ever. I would definitely do this again if I were to be in Oahu.

An Island of Fun

There were so many choices of things to do : kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, sunning on the floating deck, or playing volleyball. The reef was filled with beautiful fish and the sand underfoot was smooth and soft. The crew was organized and efficient with each member per for their job effectively. But the icing on the cake was the live entertainment from two very talented musicians who played and sang as we rode out and back to the sandbar. It’s an adventure that I will book again when I return to the island!

Amazing experience

To the lifeguard that helped us attract fish while snorkeling. Most importantly, I am very happy with the service that was provided by the guy with the sun screen across with nose that gave us kayak and prattle boarding lessons. They all made me and my family comfortable and super welcomed!

Great service, music and things to do

We love all of the availability of the water sports- paddle boats, kayaks, snorkeling, lounging on the barge. The lunch was served right away so we were on a full stomach and it gave a chance for any late strivers to come on board.

The floating deck was awesome! I have been on a few other afternoon water excursions, by far this was the best one! Croissant sandwich was tasty and brought my own drinks! My kids are teenagers and they Also had a blast with all the activities ! This Trip was perfect for the entire family.. you won’t regret it.

This was perfect
Reviewed by: Cevo, 2023/06/24This was a great day after wedding activity. We made this an optional activity for our friends and family the day after our wedding ceremony. The live music and stories on board were even better than we expected and they knew and played our first dance song! the views and experience are really special. We had done a smaller catamaran experience before but halfway through the wedding party for that wedding were all getting seasick (partially from hangovers but the rocking didn't help). This boat is large enough you don't feel a thing and it's in the bay with calmer waters. I highly recommend!
