Really fun experience for adults and children alike
Reviewed by: Irene, 2024/03/22I booked this activity for my 8-year-old and myself. The tour took place both in the jeep and we got to get out and explore some areas as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, and really made the tour more exciting. It was fun to see where certain movies were made in the area and the ranch is very beautiful.

Such a a unique experience

Dinosaur! Movie locations and exciting locations
Reviewed by: Hugh, 2024/01/21It was exciting to see the actual locations where the movie was filmed spread out before my eyes. Please give it a try. The bus tour goes directly to the location, so you don't have to walk on mountain trails, so it's perfect for families with children.

Kualoa Ranch Hollywood tour
Reviewed by: Sree, 2024/01/07We booked Hollywood tour at Kualoa ranch with our 2 little kids and we really enjoyed the experience. We also paid for pick up and drop off to Waikiki, which was really convenient.
The guide on the bus was really good and had lots of good information to share. We also enjoyed his humour.
Overall, we enjoyed the experience and will come back again.

HAVE TO GO!!

Excellent tour and tour guide was super knowledgeable

There is a 15 min hike too in this Jungle expedition tour and the view from the mountains is spectacular ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nick was a PHENOMENAL host!
Reviewed by: Kayt, 2023/11/29This was my first major vacation after being isolated due to COVID. Being immunocompromised makes finding activities difficult. We contemplated the UTV/ATV tour, in hopes of social distancing. However, we settled on the bus tour at the last minute. We got the early Monday morning tour our last day on Oahu. The bus was almost empty, so we comfortably social distanced. (The later morning buses were definitely far busier) Nick was a great host and generally joyful human being. He made the experience even better for us, despite my limitations. This place is beautiful and gorgeously maintained. Cannot miss this! If I get back to Oahu and I am well enough, I’ll be joining the horse back riding tour.

Kuaola Ranch

There is so much opportunity to take lots of pictures and interact with movie props, etc. There is also a variety of activities to do. However, this review is only for the Movie sites and ranch tour. The tour was perfect for those who cannot endure bumpy ride such as the elderly and pregnant. My mother was comfortable and did not complain about it being too rough. Our tour guide made it really special. He was very informative and engaging. Also, you can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing and really has a passion for movies and discussing them. I also love the fact that he was willing to take pictures Group/families. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who loves nature and movies, or would just like to spend a 1/2 day at Kuaola ranch.

A great experience
Reviewed by: Ron , 2023/10/24Our Movie Sites Tour driver was fun, knowledgeable and just a cool guy. The checkout lady at Auntie Pat’s Cafe was so friendly and funny. The whole day from pick-up to drop-off went so smoothly. We originally booked without transportation as we were going to rent a car but latter changed and added transportation. Kualoa staff are so professional. Highly recommend any tour there.

The doors to Jurassic Park took me back to the movie.

Kualoa Combo - Movie Tour, Jungle Tour, Farm Tour & Lunch

Bit disappointed in the movie tour as part of sets deteriorated because of passage of time. Also thought you would see more of current sets. Farm Tour was very interesting which also included some movie sets. Lunch was excellent.
Overall great day out and fantastic place that is trying to maintain green friendly eco systems and preserve area for future generations.
Would definitely go again as there were other trips like zip lining which we did not have time to do,

One of the best tours on our vacation!

This was definitely by far one of our best excursions. We were able to see and learn so much about all the different movies filmed at this location. The trips were well timed and spaced apart enough that they did not overlap into one another. The guides were knowledgeable and very accommodating. Lunch was really good with great selections. I feel like a trip to O’ahu is not complete without this excursion. Will definitely recommend this excursion to others visiting Hawai’i.

Loved it! A bit of WW2 & Movie History with great scenic views.

REALLY FUN

Jurassic Valley Movie Tour

I thought we were going on a different tour because I am a die hard dinosaur fan but this tour was just as amazing. We got to see some amazing movie sets and when our tour guide took us to one of the Jurassic World Movie sets I about died. I was so excited. It was everything I dreamed. Our tour guide took us into the movie set when technically he wasn't supposed to, but he knew how much of a fan I am of Jurassic World so he made an exception. I couldn't have been more grateful. This is one experience I will never forget. My mom and I plan to come back to do the Jurassic Valley tour that is specific to the Jurassic Park/World movies and nothing else. We both had a blast. I kinda went Overboard in the gift shop and got so much Jurassic Valley souvenirs. The gift shop had so many things to choose from. I highly recommend recommend Kualoa Ranch. They have so many things for you to do there. Horseback riding, ATV's, Ziplining (which I've done and it's a amazing experience). They have amazing staff working there. I will be coming back to Kualoa Ranch for years to come.
