They provided all of the snorkeling equipment and a box to lock up valuables and water and snacks. Our kids we scared but Dan was good with them and even let them ride on his back. He was a great guide!

Best way to snorkle at Hanauma Bay
Reviewed by: Townsend Schnabel, 2019/12/03They provide all the equipment, pick you up, let you skip the lines and into the water as quick as possible. They teach you everything you need to know so you are comfortable. Perfect length of time in the water. They take pictures of you too and post on Facebook. The snorkles are really good one way valve ones so no fear of water coming back in. They provide a bottle of water and a bag of chips afterwards. Wet suits are $10 extra and I recommend one! They speak fluent Japanese as well as English. Highly recommend.

Fantastic day!

Reviewed by: Christina and Ruth, 2017/03/22AMAZING for my first time snorkeling! Perfect weather, clear water, ran into 3 turtles and a beautiful school of fish. Dan and Chieko are very sweet people. Would definitely have brought a waterproof camera if I had one.
Recommend hydrating beforehand, especially if you haven't swam in the ocean before.
We got lucky with the weather on a beautiful day!

Best experience ever!!!

Snorkeling

An experience of a lifetime!

Pretty good

I liked how the guides were taking pictures for their Facebook page and said we could download the images of ourselves for our records. My only complaint was that the water was not super clear, but other than that, it was worth it.

It was amazing!!!

It was stunning to see beautiful fishes and turtle. Luckily, turtle was just in front of me!!
He took many pictures for us during the tour.
It is worth to do and if i visit again to Hawaii, i would like to join to this tour again!

Snorkel with the sea turtles!!!
Reviewed by: Moe, 2013/08/28First of all, Allen our instructor was very cool. We felt right at home and we got lucky that we had only 1 other family with us so we got great lessons. The views of hanauma bay is like something from a postcard!!! The snorkeling is so amazing and we even got to swim with turtles!! This is a must too because the line to get in is long but with Allen we went right to the front. First class service for sure. Most important thing: underwater camera we bought the best on the market just for this reason and it was so worth it!!

Phenomenal Day!
Reviewed by: The Decker Family, 2010/08/30My family (parents & 2 adult kids) went on a tour, in which we were the only party booked for that afternoon. Our guide, Allyn picked us up curb side from our hotel and was super nice. It was my family's first experience snorkeling and truthfully my mom and I were terrified. Allyn did a fantastic job at easing our fears and explaining everything. While we were in the water, he held my mom's hand the entire time which my mom appreciated so much. My parents got tired and we all went back to get re-hydrated. Allyn took my brother and I back out, along a different route. We saw a couple sea turtles. When we were over the reef, Allyn pulled me in a different direction to point right in front of us... There was this huge sea turtle, I could've reached out and touched it! I only wish the batteries in my camera and the dive could've lasted longer! AMAZING! We would definitely recommend it to other first timers! Thanks Allyn!

Snorkling experience

First time snorkeling!!

The snorkeling was fantastic and the owner knew all the great places to go and see aquatic life. WIsh there would have been some sort of refund for the one member who could not get out in the water.

Tranquility in the Bay

The guide knew all the spots and lead us was patient to the beautiful fish and sea turtles. We couldn't have asked for a better time. A definite must do. I would have loved to have spent more time snorkeling, but our tour was up. 5 Stars!

First time snorkeling

Our instructor, Alan, helped my wife overcome her fears and we were both able to enjoy the bay. Alan took great care to guide us and make us feel comfortable. We immediately observed a multitude of fish and coral reef creatures in some of the clearest water we encountered on Oahu. We fell in love with snorkeling and will definitely do it again. We would definitely recommend this adventure to everyone.

Aloha. Thanks for the review. Some days Hanauma Bay is super clear and other days not so good. It depends on the tide and wave conditions. Usually low tide and winter months have the best visibility. We hope you can join us another time when the ocean is clearer.
