Really enjoyed our luau experience! The event is well organized. Our section's server was very friendly and funny, and very quick to bring rounds of drinks from the bar. Our section was one of the last to be dismissed to get food but there was still plenty of food as new trays were continually being refreshed. Location of the luau is very picturesque but bring a jacket/sweater as our night (end of April) was very windy/chilly - some people were in winter parkas!

We had a great crew on this sunset tour which really added to the fun.
The food was also super delicious. Loved everything - what a perfect way to end our evening.

I was recommended this show by the taxi driver I took from the airport and made a reservation. The tables are shared, and everyone chats in a friendly atmosphere.

Not only does it feature relaxed Hawaiian hula dancing, but it also showcases various Polynesian dances from Tahiti, Samoa, and more. There are several interactive performances as well (like children dancing on stage together), making it a show that families, couples, and people of all ages can enjoy together.

One thing to note is that there are many moments where English proficiency is helpful. This includes communication at shared tables and understanding explanations, such as going to the buffet to get food for your table; if you don't catch it well, you might find yourself confused.

ハワイアンのゆったりしたフラダンスのみならず、
タヒチやサモア等の様々なポリネシアンダンスを披露してくれます。
参加型の演目もいくつかあり(子ども達が舞台で一緒に踊る等)
家族連れやカップル、様々な年齢の人が一緒に楽しめるショーだと感じました。

注意点といえば、英語能力が欲しい場面が多々あります。
相席でのコミュニケーションもですが
ビュッフェで食事をテーブルごとに取りに行く等の説明が、よく聞き取れてないと「あれっ」てなるかも

I zip lined with this company 10 years ago with my husband for the first time. This time I had my son with me and this was his first time! This company is not only professional, but friendly. They make sure that you understand how you need to zip a cross to the other side before you actually do it. They put you at ease with reassuring words of encouragement that everything will be alright and that the zip lines are safe, reliable and will hold your weight.
Both times the guides were awesome and humorous, making sure that you were having a great time. They would even throw in a little history of the area at each zip line to make it educational. I would highly recommend this zip lining company. You will want to do this all over again! Thank you Matthew and Sean for making this adventure exciting for my son and for me also! You guys rock!

It is not air conditioned. Just has fans. The boat rocks a lot so even if you don't get motion sickness you will probably still get sick. It is more enjoyable for young children. Staff was really nice though. We were able to see octopus and a lot of fish.

Great time. Show had ups and downs but overall it was nice. We upgraded to preferred seating which was nice but i think it was not really worth the extra money. Food was really good. I would do it again.

Not far enough for wild life the crew was great but needs better area for viewing

It’s good but nothing exciting if you are visiting Maui is some of the places to drink something different

This was my first time watching a luau show, so I can't compare it to others, but I really enjoyed the cute dances and the fire dance. After checking in and being guided, we had a photo opportunity (available for purchase at the end for those interested). Once we were seated at our assigned table, drinks were brought to us, and we could enjoy the sunset by the beach while the kids had fun with face painting services. We also got to see the whole pig being roasted. After being seated, there was time to greet the people at the neighboring table, but since our family isn't very good at English, we could only manage to ask where they were from.

The dancers were relatively young, a mix of boys and girls, which gave a cute impression. At one point, kids and newlywed couples were called up to dance together, creating a homey atmosphere.

The meal was served buffet-style, and I tried a bit of everything, all of which was delicious. There wasn't really time for seconds, but the dessert corner had snacks like potatoes that paired well with drinks, so I was able to go back for those multiple times.

ルアウショーを見るのが初めてなので、他と比較することはできませんが、可愛らしいダンスとファイヤーダンスを楽しむことができました。受付をすませて、誘導されると記念撮影が待っています（最後に希望者は購入可）。案内されたテーブルに着いた後、ドリンクを持ってきてもらい、海辺のサンセットを眺めたり、子供達は顔にペインティングをしてもらうサービスを楽しむことができます。また豚の丸焼きができあがったところも見せてもらいます。席に着くと、隣のテーブルの人達と挨拶をしたりする時間がありますが、私たち家族はあまり英語が得意ではないので、出身を聞くくらいの会話しかできませんでした。
ダンサーは割と若い、男の子と女の子といった感じでした。なので可愛らしい印象です。途中で子供達や新婚カップルなどが呼ばれて前に出て一緒に踊る時間もあり、アットホームな印象でした。
食事はバイキング形式で、一通り食べましたが、どれも美味しかったです。食事はおかわりをする時間がありませんでしたが、デザートのコーナーにはポテトなどのお酒のおつまみもあるので、それは何回も取りに行くことができました。

I saw more whales than I expected. It was great to see dolphins swimming alongside them too! I felt like we were closer to the whales than on other boats.

思っていたよりもたくさんくじらが見えました。一緒に、イルカも泳いでるのが見えてとても良かったです(^^)！ほかの船よりもくじらに近いような気がしました。

It was a family trip and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The singing and dancing was amazing! I recommend it to all who want to experience a luau. We will definitely go again.

Great crew, tasty food, good music, saw some whales. Very enjoyable time.

Loved the early morning whale watching cruise !! Not as crowded as it is later in the day. Saw lots of whales and had plenty of room to move around for good sightings.

This was our second time attending this luau and it was wonderful again !! The food is delicious, the entertainment is awesome and the venue is beautiful. We highly recommend this if you are looking for a true luau experience !!

Had a wonderful time with Sea Maui! The food was excellent, the staff exceptional, the music an added bonus to make the experience even better and we even got to see a few whales! We would totally recommend this one- Mahalo

the show was great and the sunset right off the beach was incredible. the food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time.

Was surprised that there are no tables to eat meal at. However, crew did a great job on the cruise and food was very good! Not much of a sunset because of clouds but we did see some whales so that was good! If it wasn’t for the quality of the food, I would have been disappointed. Everyone working on the shop was very accommodating and very friendly.

Had a great time seeing the whales. One of the crew ladies was a little rude but overall it was a great time. Would recommend it to anyone looking to see some whales.

Our driver Scottie from Temptation Tours was the best I've ever seen. Kept us engaged the whole ride. Knew everything about the island, people, history. Knew all of the best places to stop, where all of the good and bad bathrooms were down to the minute. Told us when the drive by pic was coming up so that we knew to get our phones/camera ready. Stopped multiple times and took the best video and pics of not only us but something cool on the stop. The wraps at lunch were superb. The captain's chairs in the van were perfect. Flying back with Troy from Maui Air was just as incredible. He played cool music and the ride was smooth. Saw a bunch of the falls and even played a little "chase and ride along" a friend he spotted in an ultralight. Highly recommend this combo. We were back at the hotel by early afternoon! Veltra Tours made it so easy and kept us up to date via email during our trip.

I'm so happy we did this on our vacation. The experience was beautiful. The boat sailed right up to the sand to pick us up. The crew were all professional and friendly. They helped us on and off in the tricky surf conditions. Quite a few people got really wet so take that warning serious and dress appropriately.

The appetizers and drinks were delicious and top-notch. The sea was a little choppy so a few people in our party were sea sick, but I recommend half a dramamine.

We saw whales breaching in the distance as the sun set over the waves. Overall and amazing experience, would recommend 10/10.

The Japanese guide, who is 75 years old, spends half a year in Hawaii and half a year in Tokyo, and he certainly doesn't look like a senior citizen. It was wonderful to see him enjoying his life. Thanks to him, I was able to communicate in Japanese, and I think it was great that I got to see whales multiple times. I would love to go again.

日本のガイドさんが75歳でハワイに半年、東京に半年と後期高齢者にはとても見えません。自分の人生を謳歌されて見えたのが素晴らしかった。お陰様で日本語は通じるし、クジラも何回も見ることができて大変良かったと思います。
また、行きたいですね。

It was a fantastic and impressive show that my husband, who visited Hawaii for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed! However, there were hardly any Japanese people on Maui, and my husband, who doesn't understand English, couldn't follow the explanations or guidance.

I also only understood a bit (just everyday conversation), so I was anxious about communication, but I was busy supporting my husband... haha.

Since it's an overseas trip, it's natural, but be aware that it won't be like Honolulu, where you see Japanese people everywhere.

On the other hand, everyone was really friendly, and the show was incredibly lively! I definitely want to go again!

ハワイが初めての旦那さんも大満足な迫力ある素晴らしいショーでした！
ただ、マウイ島には日本人がほとんど居らず、英語の分からない旦那は説明や案内が分かりませんでした。

私も聞き取りのみ(日常会話程度)だったので、コミュニケーションには不安でしたが旦那のフォローで手一杯に...笑

海外旅行なので当たり前ですが、ホノルルのような見渡す限り日本人のようにはいきませんので注意。

その代わり、みーんなノリが良くてショーも最高の盛り上がりでした！
また、是非いきたいです！

Good food! Lots of fun! Beautiful location! Good family entertainment!

My family was blown away with how close the whales were to our boat. Two whales came right up next to our boat and lifted their heads for pictures. My family was very happy with the experience. It gets very rocky so a bigger boat for smaller kids would be suggested.

The experience was nice...the whales could have been a little more cooperative & shown themselves more, but that’s nature....we had a very nice time....not over crowded (16 guests), that helped!! Our guide was very informative regarding the whales as he travels with them back to Alaska every year....

The helicopter ride is exciting and fun. We saw the shoreline and lots of waterfalls. The Road to Hana can be long so going half-way is better. Our guide was terrific. He showed us all the important things along the way that we never would have seen if we did it on our own.

I participated in a whale watching cruise in Maui! Despite making a last-minute reservation just three days after arriving on the island, they were able to accommodate my request for a Japanese guide.

The weather was great on the day of the cruise, and not only did we encounter several whales, but we also witnessed a lot of action. At the end, we were even able to see a big jump from the whales about four times, which made for a very satisfying experience!

I had previously participated in whale watching in Oahu, but the number of whales and how close we could get to them was completely different. I'm really glad I joined this tour in Maui. Due to the geographical features, it seems that there are more whales visiting Maui than Oahu. I highly recommend this activity for anyone visiting Maui during the whale watching season! :)

マウイ島　ホエールウォッチングクルーズに参加しました！
マウイ島に到着してからの申し込みで、3日後という急な予約であったにも関わらず、日本語ガイドさんのリクエストにも応えて頂けました。
当日は天気もよく、何頭ものクジラに出会うことができただけでなく、たくさんのアクションも見ることが出来ました。
なんと最後には大きなジャンプ姿も4回ほど見られて、大満足の体験でした！
オアフ島でもホエールウォッチングに参加したことがあったのですが、クジラの数や、見れる近さも全然違い、マウイ島でこのツアーに参加できてとてもよかったです。地形の特性上、オアフ島よりもマウイ島の方が訪れるクジラの数が多いようです。ホエールウォッチングの時期にマウイ島に来られた方は是非お勧めしたいアクティビティです:)

Nice hospitable crew both on ground and in air.

Our helicopter pilot Michael was so nice that he turned around to get a nice snap which we could be in the first flyby. We took our tour during March ( US mainland spring time ).

Great and memorable 1st experience of chopper ride. Since it rained that day we saw so many waterfalls.

Our tour was to fly to the other side of the island and then ride a tour mini van through the mountains/rainforests back to the helipad. Nice Tour guide Scott as he knew the whole island bit by bit of it which gave us many memorable nature spots along the ride. He was very helpful in clicking pics and explaining us about island, people and vegetation

We came to Maui for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. This was our third tour with Trilogy, but it was our first time on the sunset cruise. On the day of the reservation, we were informed that the pickup location changed from Ka'anapali Resort to Lahaina Harbor due to high waves, as boarding from the beach was deemed dangerous.

We departed a little later than scheduled, but we managed to secure good seats at the front, and drinks and snacks were served throughout the cruise. Unfortunately, there were many clouds, so we didn't get to see a beautiful sunset, but the strong winds allowed for some enjoyable cruising with the jib sail.

We were the only Japanese guests, and the cheerful and friendly atmosphere created by the Americans was a lot of fun. It became a wonderful memory.

結婚30周年の旅行でマウイに来ました。
トリロジーのツアーは3回目ですが、サンセットクルーズは、初めてでした。
予約の当日にピックアップのカアナパリリゾートからラハイナ港に変更になったと連絡が入りました。波が高いので、砂浜から乗船が危険とのこと。
予定より少し遅れて出港、前のいい席を確保できて、飲み物と軽食は、すべてサーブしてくれます。残念ながら雲が多くきれいなサンセットではありませんでしたが、風が強いので、ジブセイルでのクルージングも出来ました。
日本人は、私たちだけで、アメリカ人の陽気でフレンドリーな雰囲気がとても楽しかった。いい思い出になりました。
