I stayed at Aulani Resort in Ko Olina and booked Paradise Cove for my last day. It takes about a 10-minute walk from Aulani to get there. When I arrived, there were many tour buses, and I think there were over 50 guests. Upon entry, they placed a lei around my neck and offered a welcome drink. The venue is very spacious, with a private beach, and before the show starts, there are many events happening around the venue, such as singing, body painting, making hair accessories, and boating. The sunset was incredibly beautiful, and as the sun set, dinner was prepared. Then the show began, featuring traditional Hawaiian performances like hula dancing, singing, and a fire show. I was seated on the side, but I could see everything well. Everything was in English, but the host spoke clearly, making it easy to understand, and there were many jokes that made it enjoyable. My mother, who came with me, was also very satisfied.

会場はとっても広く、プライベートビーチもありショー開演までも会場のあちらこちらで歌やボディペイント、髪飾り作りやボートなどイベントが沢山催されています。
サンセットもとっても美しく、日が沈むといよいよお食事が用意されます。
そしてショーが開演。フラダンスや歌、ファイヤーショーなどハワイの伝統芸が披露されます。
私はサイド席でしたが充分見ることができました。
全て英語ですが、司会の方も滑舌も良く、理解しやすくまた冗談も沢山あり面白かったです。
一緒に来た母もとっても満足しておりました。

Don't waste your money on a guided, "skip the line" tour. This ticket is all you need to see everything at Pearl Harbor. You will need to get your own transportation to/from Pearl Harbor but there are options, TheBus.org, The Waikiki Trolley, Uber/Lyft, etc.

We arrived around 8:00 AM on a Saturday and walked right up to the ticket counter to get our ticket and then again right up to the USS Arizona Memorial ticket counter to get this ticket. NO waiting, NO line, NO worry of not getting in on one of the 1300 free USS Arizona Memorial tickets.

The audio tours of the USS Arizona Memorial (note due to maintenance issues we could not get off at the USS Arizona Memorial but we still took the boat tour around it) & the USS Bowfin were great and allow you to go at your own pace. We took the guided tour of the USS Missouri and then you have time at the end to wonder around below deck on your own. There was one additional stop included but we chose not to get off there. This gives you complete flexibility of how to spend your day at Pearl Harbor.

There are a few food options. We chose the food truck at the USS Missouri. It was very good.

This is a Must Do for any American! Very educational and sobering.

I stayed at the Kaanapali Beach Club and received an email about a meeting point at the roundabout off of Kaanapali Shores Place. I waited at the rotary in front of the lobby and in front of the hotel, but no car came. I couldn't reach the main contact number, but when I called the reconfirmation number, I was able to get through. I was told that the bus had already passed. They said they would check with the driver to see if he could come back, and it seemed like it would be fine. However, later I received a call saying that they could not come back and that I could not join the tour. They mentioned that they would issue a refund, which I accepted, but when I checked later that same day out of concern, the person who promised the refund did not come to confirm. In the end, I contacted Veltra, and they were able to confirm things, but the local tour company could not verify the facts until the end. Ultimately, the refund was made thanks to Veltra's assistance. There are issues with the local tour company's response. For those who will participate in the future, it is necessary to confirm the meeting point with the hotel and to ensure that you have a contact number for the local tour company that you can reach in case of emergencies.

Greg was such a great guide, he knew a lot about the stars and different myths relating to them. He pointed out constellations and heavenly bodies throughout the night and told us about how stars played a role in Hawaiian, Asian, and European societies. You can see so many stars out there compared to the city, and the high-tech telescope got us some amazingly close views of Saturn and a nebula. This is an awe-inspiring experience!

I participated in this tour without hesitation because it offered a luau show at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which is close to the hotel and right in the heart of Waikiki.

First, we were guided to the dining area on the terrace. The staff entertained everyone with songs and dances even before the meal started. At the end, they got everyone involved in a hula experience, which was a lot of fun. The buffet-style meal was all very delicious, and I had to be careful not to overeat.

After the meal, we were taken to the theater. Our seats were in the front row of the second floor, which I thought was a nice perk of this tour. On the first floor, the people enjoying their luxurious meals had not finished yet. I was glad to have my meal in the open-air terrace seating, which had a very relaxed atmosphere. Being on the second floor also allowed me to see the entire stage clearly.

The show began, and the dancers were singing and dancing energetically. The stage setup and production were very eye-catching. I was surprised when a dancer descended from the ceiling.

Both the hula and the songs were very captivating. The rock and roll songs and dances were great too. The Elvis Presley impersonator sounded just like him, and the excitement reached its peak when he walked around the venue, shaking hands and hugging people. After that, when Michael Jackson appeared, my husband and I were very satisfied with the nostalgic songs. He was a bit on the heavier side, but his singing and dancing were very similar.

The final fire dance was the highlight for me. It might have been the best Polynesian dance I've ever seen.

Before I knew it, we reached the finale. It was a very luxurious moment to experience both the hula and rock and roll show. I would love to participate again.

This is a highly recommended show that is worth seeing at least once.

　始めにテラスにある食事会場に案内されました。案内してくれたスタッフが食事の前から、歌や踊り踊りでみんなを楽しませてくれます。最後には、会場のみんなを巻き込んでのフラ体験で盛り上げてくれました。ブッフェ形式の食事は、どれもたいへん美味しく、食べ過ぎてしまわないように気をつけて食べました。
　食事が終わって、シアターに案内されました。座席は、２階の最前列でした。これもこのツアーの特典なのかなと思いました。１階では、豪華な食事をしている人たちの食事がまだ終わっていませんでした。私は、オープンエアのテラス席で開放的な雰囲気で食事ができてよかったと思いました。また、２階席だったので、ステージ全体が見渡せたのでよかったです。
　ショーが始まりました。ダンサーが所狭しと踊ったり歌ったりしていました。舞台装置、演出とても目を引かれました。途中でダンサーが天井からぶらさっがってきたのにはビックリでした。
　フラも歌もとても見どころがありとても引き付けられました。ロックンロールの歌や踊りもよかったです。
　エルビスプレスリーの歌声もそっくりでたいへん盛り上がりました。プレスリーが会場の中を回って握手やハグをして盛り上がりは最高潮でした。その後のマイケルジャクソンの登場で私たち夫婦も懐かしい歌に大満足でした。ちょっと太めのマイケルでしたが、歌や踊りはとても似ていました。
　最後のファイヤーダンスは、私としては一番でした。今まで見たポリネシアンダンスの中でも一番かも。
　あっという間にフィナーレを迎えました。フラとロックンロールショーの両方が見ることができたいへん贅沢なひと時でした。また参加したいツアーでした。
　一度は、見る価値のあるお勧めのショーです。

A family trip to Hawaii with my college and high school sons. Among the mostly active optional activities, the only one we included was the cast show. When we were first guided inside, we took a photo with the cast! (We purchased it as a memory after the show.) In the VIP area, delicious fruits and snacks were prepared, and we enjoyed our time there first. After that, we moved to our table seats. Since we could order a welcome drink, I ordered a Mai Tai (cocktail). It was incredibly delicious! The food was also luxurious and very tasty. Our table was right at the edge below the stage, so I was a bit worried, but we could see the show well. The impersonators of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley were very skilled, and we were enchanted by their dancing and singing. The kids seemed to have a great time as well. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the venue was quite strong, so the person next to us borrowed a large napkin to wrap around themselves. I recommend bringing a jacket!

唯一会場の冷房はかなり効いていますので隣の方は大判のナフキンを借りて羽織っておられました。上着を1枚用意されることをお勧めいたします！

Good, but not the best

The food was very good, and the show was good as well. My only real complaint is the time gap between events happening. We arrived and were treated to a tram tour of the botanical gardens, which is fabulous. After that we had approximately 40 minutes before the Imu ceremony where they pull the pig out of the oven. Although we further explored the gardens, there's only so many times you can admire a flower or tree. My wife and I decided to find seats (open seating for parties less than 5), and we choose poorly. The bar doesn't open until after the Imu ceremony, so we weren't able to enjoy a drink (other than water) while we waited. After the Imu ceremony, the band started playing music and the bar opened. Once the buffet started, we realized our poor choice of seats, as we were among the last tables to be signaled for the buffet. At least we had drinks by that time, but the waiting wears on you. The food was good, but once we were finished, there was only the music to listen to. Normally this is an opportunity to talk to the other guests, but the seating arrangement isn't conducive to starting a conversation with strangers.
After another 30 minutes or dead time or so, we moved from the dining area to the theater. The show was entertaining, with traditional dances and music, but it just didn't flow as a story for me. I felt like it was more of a documentary of Hawaiian dance. My wife and I were ready to go when it was over (even before).

I enjoyed the whole experience immensely! The food was great and the entertainment was fantastic! What I loved the most was that there was constantly something going on, I was never bored waiting for the next tick of the clock to happen, unlike a different luau we went to later during our trip.

I was looking forward to the two hours before the show, as the website mentioned activities like javelin throwing and canoeing that adults could enjoy, but I found that I couldn't participate at all; it felt more like a level for children, so I wasn't motivated to join in.

For dining, we were guided from the higher seats and took turns getting our food. The taste was average. They advertised unlimited soft drinks, but it was only coffee and tea, with everything else being paid. The show was impressive and enjoyable. There were vouchers included that could be used within the venue, but when I tried to use them, the locations were limited, so I reluctantly bought a wallet, which broke immediately.

ショーが始まるまでの2時間位、やり投げや、カヌーや、いろいろ大人も遊べるような感じでホームページにあったので、楽しみにしてましたが、何にもできなかったというより、子供らが楽しむレベルで、参加する気になれなかった。

I was seated at the back of the standard section, but there were many people from other countries, and I couldn't say that the conversation was lively at the same table with people from America and Australia. The luau was wonderful, especially the final fire dance, which was spectacular. The food was just okay. I'm glad I was able to participate.

We toured with Kane who was knowledgeable and attentive. Felt safe driving up, and he made sure the group stayed together. Only thing is, since they feed us pastries when we first get to the lounge. I didn't really feel up to breakfast because it was a long morning and wanted to go back to the resort and rest. The experience alone was amazing, far more than I expected. I recommend booking this trip.

It was a rare pattern for all five family members to visit Hawaii and the Big Island for the first time, but we participated in search of the Hawaiian experience. We arrived before 5 PM and were second in line; the first person did not have a premium seat, so we ended up with a table right in the center of the front row. The show allowed us, as first-time visitors to Hawaii, to feel the essence of Hawaii and was a fun, interactive experience for everyone. However, I believe you can enjoy it just as much without a premium seat. The premium seat included valet parking, so we used the Hilton's valet parking, but when we dropped off the car, they didn't ask for our name (they asked if we were guests, and I mentioned we were there for the show), and we didn't receive any valet parking tickets after the show, but it turned out to be free. It seems like the management is a bit casual in this regard (it might be possible to use it for free even without a premium seat).

家族5人が全員初ハワイ・初ハワイ島という今どき珍しいパターンですが、ハワイらしさを求めて参加しました。17時前に行ったところ2番目で、1番目の方はプレミアムシートではなかったため、結果として最前列ど真ん中のテーブルとなりました。ショーは初心者ハワイ組にとっては、ハワイらしさを感じることが出来、全員参加型の楽しいものでした。ただしプレミアムシートでなくとも十分楽しめると思います。プレミアムシートだとVALEET　PARKING代も含まれていましたので、ヒルトンのVALEET　PARKINGを利用しましたが、車を預ける際に名前を聞かれることもなく（宿泊者ですか？と聞かれたので、ショーを観に来たことは伝えました）、ショー終了後にVALEET　PARKINGのチケットなどももらえませんでしたが、結果的には無料でした。このあたり、アバウトな運営のようです（プレミアムでなくとも無料で利用出来るのでは・・）

The performance was impressive, with flames spinning like a baton, being thrown and caught, and even licked. The music and singing were wonderful, but I felt so relaxed and tired that I almost fell asleep. The lei I received on Sunday was made of nuts, while on Tuesday it was a flower lei. I wasn't sure if the photo taken at the entrance was for sale or a gift.

My idea about a Luau was...some food and a little bit of Tahitian dancing on a hotel property...This is what we saw year after year walking on Kaanapali beach - Maui .

Smith Family Garden Luau IT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT- worth attending. They are very well organized and offer you a unique experience!

1. You get greeted by a local girl and boy who are offering a lei and at this point you get a group picture taken- nice touch- no pressure to buy it,

2.They offer you a tour of the garden and after that you have time to wander by yourself- 50 min- until they do the pork ceremony.

3. You are invited to your table- parties 6 or more have assigned seats- very thoughtful. They have a neat system to invite you to get the food without overcrowding the area. BTW- plenty of good food and drinks.
4. During the meal they entertain you : a little bit of dancing and singing and they invite people from the crowd to teach them how to dance. It was really neat !!
4. After the meal you are invited to an outdoor theater for an 1 hour show. It was A REAL show...lights, music...put together very professional! Enough seats for everyone, you can seethe scene from every seat . At the entrance you can pick up your photos.


I think it is the only Luau worth attending :)

At first, I was looking for a Polynesian show, so I felt a bit of a disconnect with shows like those featuring Presley, but the timing and location were very good, so our family of four participated. The show had a well-thought-out structure that didn't feel out of place, and the content was engaging from one act to the next, never boring. What stood out the most was the performers' genuine desire to entertain the audience. The food was also delicious. During the meal, the performers kept us entertained with their singing and dancing, which was great. We all had a wonderful time together as a family on this trip.

We booked a Hawaiian show at the request of my elderly father, who wanted to see it during our three-generation family trip, thinking that the young grandchildren would enjoy it as well. We chose the buffet course, so the food was just okay, and the timing felt a bit rushed, but we enjoyed interacting with the dancers.

The show that followed, after moving to the audience seating, was fantastic. From the second floor, we had a great view of the stage, and the children, who had been dozing off before it started, were completely captivated once the show began. They enjoyed the high-level dancing and singing throughout. We were very satisfied with the well-structured performance.

三世代家族旅行で、ハワイアンショーが観たいと言う高齢の父の希望で、これなら若い孫たちもそこそこ楽しめるかなと予約しました。
バイキングのコースにしたので、食事はこんなものかなという程度で、時間も慌ただしかったですが、ダンサーさん達とのやり取りを楽しめました。
その後の客席に移動してのショーは最高でした。
２階席からはステージがとても良く見え、始まるまでウトウトしていた子ども達も、ショーが始まってからはステージに釘付けで、レベルの高いダンスに歌にと終始楽しめました。
とても良く構成されたパフォーマンスに大満足でした。

We participated as a family.
The show had various types, including performances for men only, women only, modern styles, and introductions to Hawaiian royalty, so we were never bored. It was a bit amusing to see the same dancers come out multiple times in different costumes. According to a hula expert in our group, the level of hula was also very high.
The food was delicious, but when we were leisurely eating, they started clearing things away around 7 PM. (I wanted a second helping of watermelon...)
There were times when the timing of the table attendant didn't match up with our drink orders, but their service was very pleasant.
However, I felt the price was a bit high...?

I found this place while searching for a hula show in the Wailea area, so I made a reservation. There is no shuttle service, so I think it would be convenient to stay at the Marriott or another hotel in the Wailea area. I reserved a premium seat, but there was a long line at the reception, and since the sun hadn't set yet, it was quite hot. The premium seats were essentially in the second row from the front, with ten people sharing a round table. The show was very visible. There were three long tables set up with the exact same buffet menu, and people in priority seating were served first with one plate. Under the starry sky, I enjoyed a powerful luau and elegant hula.

ワイレア地区でフラのショーを探していたらこちらがありましたので申し込みました。送迎はないのでマリオットに泊まるかまたはワイレア地区のホテルからならば便利だと思います。プレミアム席を予約したのですがその前の受付で長い行列が出来ており、まだ太陽も沈んでなかったのでかなり暑かったです。プレミアム席は実質前から2列目、丸テーブルに10人の相席です。ショーはよく見えました。ブュッフェは全く同じメニューが乗った長テーブルが3列用意されていて優先席の人からワンプレートに盛っていく形でした。星空の下、迫力あるルアウと優雅なフラで楽しめました。

The ride to paradise cove was enjoyable. Our tour guide provided a comfortable and fun experience there and back. At paradise cove, we enjoyed the different events that were happening; such as the spear throwing, the pulling in of the fish net, and the luau. The buffet was very good, and had plenty of food for everyone to get their fill. The final event of the night was amazing.

This time, since we were in Hawaii, we decided to enjoy this fun show. I made a reservation through Veltra, which offered a plan with some nice perks. At first, I was a bit worried about using Veltra, but on the day of the reservation, I headed to the venue and had no trouble checking in at all. I've already used Veltra for various activities and shows about five times during my two trips to Honolulu, and there have been no issues!

For this Rock-a-Hula show, I enjoyed the VIP dinner that came with the special reservation. We started with the meal, and I had the impression that the food at these types of shows is usually not very good, but I thought the food here was quite decent.

Next up was the start of the show. First, there was an Elvis Presley impersonator, followed by a female singer, and then a Michael Jackson impersonator. All of them had great singing abilities, and I really enjoyed watching Michael's dance. The fire dance was also impressive and enjoyable.

Since the dinner package can be a bit pricey, I would recommend just attending the show without the meal.

今回せっかくのハワイと言う事も有りこちらの楽しそうなショーを観覧しました。
ベルトラから予約をすれば嬉しい特典があるプランで予約をしました。
最初はベルトラ⁉︎大丈夫なのかと思いながら予約当日予約会場へ向かいましたが何のトラブルもなく受け付け出来ました。
既にホノルル2回の旅行の内5回程ベルトラ利用で色々なアクティビティ、ショーを予約しましたがもう無問題です！
今回のロックアフラショーですが、嬉しい特典予約あるVIPディナー付きで観覧しました。
最初にお食事を頂きますが、この手のショーのお食事は大した物が出ない印象が強く有りましたがこちらのお食事はまぁまぁ良かったと思います。
お食事の次はいよいよショーの始まりです。
最初にエルビスプレスリーのそっくりサン次に女性シンガーサン続いてマイケルジャクソンのそっくりサン、どの方も歌唱力が有りマイケルのダンスも楽しく拝見できました。
ファイヤーダンスも迫力が有りよかったですよ。
お食事付きだと少し料金がかさみますのでショーのみの鑑賞をオススメしたいですね。
