On 11/09/2023 I went on this Pearl Harbor tour, and had a full day of education. This was my first time at Pearl Harbor, and I'm so glad I went with Polynesian Adventure Tours. They were on time for pick up, the bus was so comfortable, and the guide clearly enjoyed his job with how much information he shared on Hawaii.

When we arrived to Pearl Harbor we were given a map, that was so helpful! Each section of PH on the map was numbered, that kept me on track of the schedule of the day. Without this map I would have been so lost!

Each museum we were given plenty of time to read all the information, if you are a quick reader you may feel like it's too much time, but I felt like it was the perfect amount of time. My favorite was the submarine!!

Lunch was so yummy, and was a very generous proportion. Was served in the middle of tour which was perfect for giving me energy I needed for the rest of the day. Highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, because there is a lot of walking throughout the day.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a guided tour, and who isn't renting a car while on island.

I requested a shuttle to a not very famous hotel in Waikiki (I entered the hotel name correctly), but I was dropped off at a different hotel with a similar name. It took me 30 minutes to walk from that hotel to my actual hotel, and it was impossible to walk while carrying my suitcase, so I ended up having to call an Uber. Please be careful when using this service.

Since I was flying with Delta Airlines, most of the other passengers were returning to the mainland, which allowed me to enjoy the foreign atmosphere until the end. How do I get from the airport in Honolulu to the hotel? If I could speak English fluently, I might be able to grab a taxi, but I made a reservation before leaving Japan, so I went straight to the hotel when I arrived. The pickup area was a bit hard to find, but it was okay overall.

The guide spoke only English, but was very kind and took many family photos for us. The guide's leading on the bike was considerate of the entire group, allowing everyone to enjoy without feeling rushed. Along the way, we visited many movie filming locations, but aside from Jurassic Park, I hadn't seen any of them before. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had done some research beforehand. That said, we were blessed with good weather, and riding the e-mountain bike through the great outdoors was incredibly fun and amazing.

The trip was fantastic and Ray was super informative. It was a beautiful night and we got to see a lot of stars and planets and the moon rising as well. It was spectacular and a must try for everyone! We thoroughly enjoyed it and I highly recommend it!! Also loved the hot chocolate touch at the end because it was quite cold on the slopes. The pickup and drop off was on time. The one thing that could have been better in my opinion was the food options and I also wished we had stopped somewhere to see the spectacular sunset. Apart from that, we really enjoyed it

If you want to see the rings of Saturn and Jupiter and craters of the moon then this tour is a must! Yoshi had everything taken care of for us. He had warm jackets, gloves, blankets, chairs, and a GPS computerized telescope. He was pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable. He even bought us donuts and made us hot tea! This tour was AMAZING! In our group of 4, it was a unanimous vote for the best tour of our whole vacation. We all enjoyed the beautiful sunset from a private location. Then, Yoshi brought out his personal telescope and showed us some stars, planets and the moon up close and personal. We had never seen anything like it before. We gave this tour 5 stars.

I participated in this tour for the first time. Due to the weak yen, I requested a shuttle service, and the cost was just under 30,000 yen per person, but I joined with my family of three. The guide spoke entirely in English, so I couldn't understand what was being said, but we had a wonderful time. We were able to take photos at movie filming locations, see cacao that you can't find in Japan, and even crack and eat macadamia nuts ourselves, which was a fun experience. Above all, the scenery was amazing! The weather was also favorable, making both the mountains and the sea incredibly beautiful. It was a healing time for my husband and me, who are usually tired from work. If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would like to participate in a buggy riding tour.

Took this tour 6 years ago and had the most amazing experience. So I had to do it again. This tour offers the best of Big Island because you get to see Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls. We saw lots of turtles at black sand beach and an actual rainbow at Rainbow Falls! Our guide Brent was very informative and helpful.

Very well organized! Our guides were very informative of the area. It's the perfect blend of riding with brief stops to take amazing pictures and breathe in Kauai's beauty and gorgeous scenery. It rained throughout our tour which made it muddier and that much more fun! We saw the waterfall, but for safety reasons, weren't able to swim in it. Be sure to take clothes and SHOES you won't mind getting muddy. The facility had an area to rinse off after the tour. It's an adventure must do!

On 12/19/23 I went on Star of Honolulu, and participated in the Pacific Star Buffet Package. Finding the boat was easy due to it's large size. Walking up we were greeted by real hula dancers, that really set the vibe for the evening. Upon boarding the ship there was staff along the way that assisted in finding your section.

The ship is very large in size, and was so much fun to explore. The top deck was my favorite part, but definitely bring a sweater it can get a bit chilly! I recommend visiting the top deck as the sun is setting for your perfect kodak moment on the water, and once again when it gets' dark to see the beautiful city lights, and view of Diamond Head Crater.

The severs were very studious, and genuine when checking on our table. The buffet line went very quickly, hardly a wait at all! The food was delicious, with many options for all dietary needs. Being mainly plant based I was impressed by all the plant based sides, my favorite was the tofu salad! They even have a vegan patty upon request.

The show, and production was very engaging for the whole family. If you are traveling with a large group including children, I recommend the Pacific Star package there is something for everyone!

I use this service every time. It's convenient because you can board even without a reservation upon arrival. However, depending on the exit, the counter can be quite far, so I got a bit lost the first time.
I made a reservation for the return trip from the location, and they responded quickly to my questions, which made me feel at ease.
For the return, there are no specific instructions, so you need to check the terminal number yourself in advance.
They provide a very smooth transfer every time, so I can't imagine using anywhere else!

I recently attended the Mauka Warriors Luau in Oahu and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entertainment. Having been to many luaus throughout Hawaii, I can say that Mauka Luau stands out with its unique and special show. The Thrilling Fire Knife Dancing was the best and most impressive on the entire island!

In my opinion, what makes Mauka Luau truly distinctive is its interactive experience and engaging storytelling, The mesmerizing hula and fire performances narrate fascinating stories of the islands' history
Before the dinner and luau show, there is a great variety of different hands-on Polynesian activities to enjoy.

While the buffet might not have the widest variety compared to other luaus, the food at Mauka Luau is incredibly tasty and presented beautifully.

The venue itself offers stunning mountain and ocean views of Waikiki and Honolulu, and if you look carefully, you can even catch a glimpse of Diamond Head in the distance. They strive to offer a more intimate setting and there is plenty of space in between the tables, so you don't feel crowded.

Transportation from Waikiki is available, making it convenient for guests, and the prices are affordable, offering excellent value for the experience you receive at the Luau. Plus, all guests receive complimentary professional photos sent directly to their phones, which is a nice touch.

I highly recommend checking it out!
