The guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It was a fulfilling day. It was really good. However, all the participants were Americans, and perhaps because they all had knowledge about Hawaii, the topics discussed were quite difficult. Things like how to buy land and rumors about Captain Cook. If you have prior knowledge and are fluent in English, it would be very enjoyable, but if your level is just average, you might feel a bit left out.

Our guide Lola was very friendly, and it was the best tour! Since it was an English-only tour, we were a bit worried about our ability to keep up with just everyday conversation. However, Lola, although she hardly spoke any Japanese, spoke slowly and clearly, making it easy to understand, and we had a great conversation.

She also guided us through the buildings and areas along the way, which was fun.

I thought Dole might be somewhat underwhelming, but it was actually very spacious and we enjoyed it a lot. The souvenir section is really large. Haleiwa had a completely different atmosphere from Waikiki, which was refreshing. There were so many places to eat that it was hard to choose, but the garlic shrimp was very delicious. We gave up on the long lines for shave ice and huli huli chicken. Instead, we went to Ali Beach and were thrilled to encounter a honu drying its shell!

シェイブアイス、フリフリチキンは列が長かったので断念。
代わりにアリビーチまで行ってみたところ、甲羅乾かしているホヌに出会えて感動しました！

When you think of Hawaii, you think of the trolley while feeling the breeze. You can enjoy it just by riding along without doing anything, and I believe this is more of an attraction than just a means of transportation.

It's helpful that they sell tickets separately without going through His, but since the pandemic, the discount tricks are no longer available, and it's too expensive, so I reduced my rating. However, you could say it's lucky that it's less crowded than before.

Be careful as the railings are so open that you might drop something. Hats can fly off, and depending on the driver, they might start moving before everyone is seated, and some drivers have rough driving styles. This is not Japan. Everyone should be cautious and take responsibility for themselves, as you shouldn't ride with a Japanese mindset.

Because of this, infants and toddlers can only sit in priority seats that are covered by railings (it feels scary to sit anywhere else). Tommy picked us up early at a neighboring hotel/resort. As soon as we arrived, he mentioned me and my son by name and I signed a sheet stating we were present. He was kind, patient, relaxed and informative about the area offering great suggestions on different locations. This experience included our entrance fee to Diamond Head State Monument, transportation to and from the hotel. Our hike was moderate and offered beautiful scenery and awesome photo opportunities. The only area I felt somewhat claustrophobic was going into the tunnel on the way up. Tommy provided cold as well as room temperature water and the ride back was comfortable and convenient as we were dropped off right in front of our resort. Thank you for a great experience! Mahalo!

The guide provided a lot of information about shops in Haleiwa, recommended food trucks, and restroom locations, which was really helpful.

It was a long 8-hour tour, but we returned on time, and I was able to communicate with everyone on the tour and have a great time. Thank you!

I experienced the new attraction Xplore Ride, which was also introduced at HIS events.

I participated from the afternoon of my arrival day. Since I arrived in Hawaii in the morning and couldn't check into the hotel until the afternoon, it was a nice point that I could join during the free time. The tour departs from Royal Hawaiian Avenue next to DFS. I was worried about getting lost, but the large bus with a blue ocean illustration caught my eye, and I was able to find it right away. There are also lunch spots nearby, like Aloha Table and Sticks, making it convenient to join before or after lunch.

After telling my name and boarding the bus, I took my designated seat. I heard that the bus is a brand new custom vehicle for this tour! The ride was comfortable, with luxurious seats. Before departure, a staff member provided an explanation. Following their instructions, I put on the VR goggles that were prepared at my seat, and I immediately saw a language selection button in front of me. When I reached out, I pressed the selection button, and it switched to Japanese mode. They mentioned that it uses AR technology to overlay real-world images with virtual space, and MR technology that connects the virtual world with the body, which made me excited for this first-time experience.

Once the headset and language settings were complete, the tour started. The bus route goes around Diamond Head and returns, and it wasn't a long ride. I was worried about feeling dizzy due to lack of sleep, but I was able to enjoy it without any issues until the end.

During the tour, a guide named Manta appeared. He shared various attractions of Oahu and information about Hawaii. The experience of reaching out and connecting with the virtual space, where dolphins and fish appeared from Waikiki Beach, and scenes where I completely entered another world were filled with many creative elements that kept me engaged. I wanted to visit a coffee farm and explore Haleiwa, and I was also hoping to try Giovanni's Garlic Shrimp, and all of that came true! Our guide, Jonah, was very attentive and cheerful, providing a lot of explanations about Hawaiian culture and the scenery we saw during the ride, and he answered our questions, which was very informative!

Also, since there were only four of us in total, including another group, Jonah actively offered to take photos at each spot, which made me very happy as we got to take a lot of pictures. He also provided explanations about the highlights at each location and suggested great spots for photos, which made the tour even more enjoyable thanks to Jonah! Thank you very much!

It may be their job but everyone seemed to enjoy making sure you have a great time.
go. get the pictures. the memories are priceless.

bonus : go on Friday and you get the fireworks show on the water with Waikiki as the backdrop. what could be better???

We enjoyed the ride! There was two of us on the trip and it was so pleasant. It rained briefly but didn’t stop us. The guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. We will definitely tell our friends about it and do it again when we come back. Thank you!!! Mahalo!
