I was happily walking through the greenery when I arrived at the waterfall. There is a shuttle service, making trekking easy. After the valley, we had lunch in the town of Haleiwa. I was impressed by the juicy hamburger!! At Matsumoto Shave Ice, I had the matcha special. I heard they make the adzuki beans from scratch every day. It was delicious. The driver was very kind and gave us helpful advice.

I participated in a sunset and stargazing tour at the summit of Mauna Kea on the Big Island. It was a small group tour with about 10 people, which made for a relaxed experience.

The sandwich we had along the way was delicious and satisfying. The sunset from the summit was truly beautiful, and I was moved by the view spreading over the sea of clouds. After arriving at Dole, we had malasadas and mineral water for breakfast. The driver also explained how to buy tickets and recommended some food options.

After the Dole experience, we went to the North Shore. Although we couldn't go to the famous sign, the driver introduced us to well-known spots before parking, and then we had free time. We could stop by Matsumoto Shave Ice, garlic shrimp, Patagonia, and more.

On the way back, we visited famous spots around Waikiki, such as King Kamehameha, while the driver provided commentary as we headed toward Waikiki. It was nice to be able to give a tip comfortably.

In Haleiwa, the weather was unfortunately rainy and quite strong, but I was glad to be able to shop at the store I wanted to visit. Especially, the Florence apparel is hard to find in Waikiki, and it seemed to have just opened, so I felt lucky. I don't want to drive overseas, so I've relied on them a few times. I also took some cute photos of a cat on the beach, which I really like.

They came to pick me up earlier than scheduled. After signing some documents, we moved to a few other pickup locations and then headed to Diamond Head. Once everyone gathered, the guide started. I only understood about half of what was said, but it seemed like most of it was jokes. Everyone except me seemed to be native English speakers. However, it was no problem at all if you couldn't speak. The entrance fee and reservation for Diamond Head were handled by Veltra, so you can get in without doing anything. I was dropped off at the entrance of Diamond Head around 8:40, received a bottle of water, and was told to be back by 10:30.

The hike to Diamond Head takes about 30 to 40 minutes one way. There are many bumpy areas and stairs, so I recommend wearing sneakers. It can be quite windy and relatively cold at the top, so having a light jacket might be a good idea.

After coming down, I relaxed on a bench and looked at souvenirs. I was a bit anxious when the return pickup didn't arrive on time, but I thought, "This is America, so it’s probably normal." You also receive water on the way back, which you can decline if you don't want it. The drop-off location can be either the pickup spot or your hotel if it's nearby.

I gave a $10 bill as a tip, which seemed to be the average amount based on what I saw from other participants. I joined as a solo male traveler, but I wasn't singled out or anything; it was a straightforward and nice tour. I think the tour content was good, but if I had to be picky, I would have liked a few more unique programs (like places or shops not listed in guidebooks).

I would like to request plans from this tour company in the future. I definitely recommend it.

I had to move from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 after arriving from Molokai Island, and I needed to find Roberts. Although I got off at Terminal 1 using the shuttle pass, it was different from where I boarded, and I wandered around the terminal. Fortunately, I found the Roberts limousine bus, and I was relieved by their kind assistance, but I would have been stressed without the limousine pass. I love Hawaii, and my first visit was 52 years ago. After that, I went on my honeymoon, and since my children have grown up, I've been to Hawaii several times. During those visits, I drove to the North Shore after the highway was built. This time, I participated in a one-day tour of Oahu for the first time, and it brought back so many memories.

First, the tour guide asked us where we wanted to go, and he mentioned the power spot of Shohei Ohtani. More than anything, I loved feeling the Hawaiian breeze from Kahala to Hanauma Bay and the Halona Blowhole. I touched the rock at Ohtani's power spot and felt energized. I experienced the local Hawaiian roads and went to Sunset Beach, which felt like it hadn't changed at all, and I was very moved.

I often visit Haleiwa Town, so I wasn't particularly interested in that, but I wanted to go to Tropical Farms after seeing it on TV. We had plenty of samples, and cracking open the macadamia nuts was the most delicious experience I've ever had. My husband and I are already thinking about which tour to take for our trip to Hawaii next year. This time was a wonderful experience, and I'm so glad I could do it. Thank you very much.

Its a cheap, pretty trip down the river and then you get to see a really pretty spot with a little cave and waterfall in a jungle like setting. Id say go. It only takes a couple hours. Guides were sometimes funny, sometimes looked like they were in hell lol, but it didn't matter, it was fun. You should go.

This is our third trips to Hawaii but is the first time to have a chance to see other beautiful beaches in Oahu in addition to the well known Waikiki beach. The hike in the Diamond Head was manageable but the view from the top was magnificent. With the driver John’s guide, we had the most spectacular experience in Oahu.

The tour guide James was friendly and very kind, always attentive to our health during the hike. He also provided fascinating explanations about constellations and the Mauna Kea telescope. Since it was an English tour, it was great to bond with participants from various regions of the United States throughout the tour.

ツアーガイドのJamesはフレンドリーで、山登り中に体調にも常に気をかけてくれてとても親切でした。また、星座やマウナケアの望遠鏡についても非常に詳しく説明してもらえ面白かったです。英語ツアーということもあり、アメリカの色々な地域から来た参加者同士ともツアーを通してとても仲良くなれて良かったです。

The sunset visible from the summit was breathtaking and truly memorable. As for the starry sky, while it was beautiful, we may have had slightly higher expectations. The guide primarily spoke in English but occasionally mixed in some Japanese, making an effort to entertain all participants.

山頂から見える夕陽は絶景で、非常に記憶に残るものとなりました。
ただ星空に関しては、もちろん綺麗ではあったのですが、少しこちら側が期待しすぎてしまった感はありました。
