Oahu's North Shore is home to some of the best surfing beaches in the world, and throughout the year, you can often see amateur and professional surfers riding monster waves in the rugged waters. The soft white sand and blue skies are the perfect backdrop for surf watching!
Located right outside of Haleiwa, Alii Beach is one of the most popular resting spots of the Hawaiian green sea turtle, and makes for a fantastic area to view these endangered marine creatures from a safe distance. Known as "honu," these turtles will make their way to the shore to rest and relax.
This famous tourist destination also holds a large part of Hawaii's history in its pineapple fields. At Dole Pineapple Plantation, you can take a garden tour, navigate your way through the world's largest maze (for an additional fee), or enjoy a refreshing cup or cone of Dole Whip.
