We participated as a group of ten across three generations. I was impressed by how well the beautiful environment was maintained! After a thorough training session, we all started snorkeling together. At first, my grandchildren struggled a bit, but the guides divided up and coached them. I was moved by how many beautiful fish were swimming nearby. The sight of tropical fish, large parrotfish, and many different sizes and types of fish swimming so close that they seemed to touch my body felt like a different world. I want to go again! Everyone in the group was singing, "I want to go again! I want to go! I want to go!" The coaches and guides were very kind. Thank you very much.

The dreamlike Hanauma Bay that I had seen in books.
First, I was amazed by its beauty from above! The blue of the sea was different from Japan.
The staff member, Alan, spoke Japanese well and provided thorough explanations.
While observing many fish and coral reefs, we went to a recommended spot by the expert, and there, a sea turtle was swimming!!
It was a small turtle, but very cute, and I was able to swim alongside it.
Alan took us to a deeper area where others didn't go, allowing us to enjoy a different snorkeling experience.

The memories of walking along the sandbar while gazing at the unbelievably beautiful sea and magnificent nature have become unforgettable.

The staff's response was also very good, and it was a safe and interesting tour.

During snorkeling, we were able to see many fish gathering around the coral. I think there were even more fish than at Hanauma Bay.

Fortunately, we were able to see a sea turtle. If we were luckier, we could have swum with it as well.

Additionally, the service was great, including the option to create a DVD with photos taken by a professional photographer (for an additional fee).

I felt a beauty different from Waikiki and the North Shore, and I think it was the best tour! I definitely recommend participating!

I participated with my 5-year-old, 9-year-old, and 11-year-old children. I had confirmed the sizes of the fins with Alan in advance, but there were no sizes available for my 5-year-old. It seems there are no sizes below 20 centimeters. As a result, my 5-year-old had to swim and dive in a larger size. The activity lasted about 45 minutes, and we encountered many colorful fish and even saw a sea turtle, which was thrilling! I heard afterward that the divers woke the turtle up from its sleep. There are several spots where the turtles sleep. Even though it was only 45 minutes, it felt like we swam a lot, and by the end, I was exhausted. The diver took care of my 5-year-old the whole time, which was a great help. I don't think we could have gone to such a distant place on our own. ５歳、９歳、１１歳の子供を連れての参加でした。フィン等のサイズ、事前にAlanに確認はしていたのですが、５歳の子供に合うサイズがありませんでした。２０センチ以下のサイズはないそうです。その為５歳の子供は、大きいサイズで泳ぎ、潜る事になりました。約４５分程の行程でしたが、沢山の色とりどりの魚に会え、また、ウミガメにも遭遇し、感激♪沖に上がって聞いたのですが、ウミガメは、ダイバーの方が、寝ているのを起こしてくれたそうです。何箇所かウミガメの眠っている箇所があるそうです。４５分と言っても、随分泳いだ気分になりましたし、最後は疲れてヘトヘトでした。５歳の子供は、ずっとダイバーの方が世話をしてくださり、助かりました。家族だけでは、遠い場所へは行けなかったと思います。昼は“軽食、スナック”とバウチャーにあったので、サンドウィッチくらいが出るのかと思って、昼食を抜いての参加でしたが、出たのはスナック菓子とペットボトルの水のみでしたので、少し気分が悪くなりました。参加の前には軽く食事をした方がいいです。潜り終えた後は、寒くて震える程でしたが、シャワーして着替えた後の日光浴は最高でした。

I spent a meaningful time from the morning until early afternoon. The weather was somewhat cloudy, so both the water temperature and the wind were a bit chilly.

I participated last October, and I think it's better to bring a long-sleeved jacket when it's cloudy.

There were quite a few waves, and I enjoyed bodyboarding. The staff provided thorough explanations, and lunch was included, so I was very satisfied.

We participated as a couple. I had been curious about the sandbar for a long time, and when I found it through a campaign this time, I made a reservation without hesitation. There were quite a few people participating, and we departed from the Kaneohe Bay harbor on two boats. While circling the beautiful sea where we could see the mountains of Kualoa and Chinaman's Hat, we spotted wild sea turtles from the boat. I had imagined the sandbar would be close to the land, but in reality, it suddenly exists in the middle of the ocean, quite far from the shore, surrounded by nothing, and it was more beautiful than I had expected, like a different world! The sea and sand were beautiful, resembling a private beach, and although the time was short, it was a precious experience. We went snorkeling, but there were hardly any fish. A group of older men and women who were on the same boat seemed to be looking forward to playing on the sandbar, but the distance from where the boat stopped to the sandy beach was close, yet the depth was not shallow enough to walk in with clothes on, so they ended up waiting on the boat while everyone else played, which was quite unfortunate. However, the wonderful experience that can only be had here is something I highly recommend! The water is shallow, so it's also recommended for children!

夫婦で参加しました。以前からサンドバーがずっと気になってましたが、今回キャンペーンで見つけ迷わず予約しました。かなり沢山の方が参加していて、カネオへ湾の港から２艘の船で出発しました。クアロアの山々やチャイナマンズハットが見える綺麗な海をぐるっと周りながら、途中野生のウミガメを船の上から見ました。サンドバーは、陸から近い所にあるのを想像してましたが、実際は陸からだいぶ離れた周りに何も無い海の真ん中に突如存在し、そこだけ別世界の様で思っていた以上に綺麗でした！！海も砂も美しくプライベートビーチの様で、時間は短めでしたが貴重な体験が出来ました。シュノーケリングをしましたが、魚はほとんどいませんでした。同じ船に乗ってきた年配の男女数名のグループの方たちが、海には入れないがサンドバーに降りて遊ぶのを楽しみにしてたみたいですが、船が停まった場所から砂浜までの距離が、近いけれど深さが洋服のまま行ける深さでは無く結局サンドバーに降りれずにみんなが遊んでる間船の上で待っていたのがとても可哀想でした。でもここでしか味わえない素晴らしさなので、ぜひ参加して欲しいです！海も浅いので子供さんにもオススメですよ！

We participated as two women.
We were the only Japanese participants, and although we couldn't speak Japanese, the staff's thoughtfulness and cheerfulness made us feel completely at ease and allowed us to enjoy ourselves.

The cruise to the snorkeling point offered a view of the Big Island from the sea, allowing us to see a different side of Hawaii. We were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins!

The snorkeling experience was incredibly satisfying with the beautiful Hawaiian sea and fish! Even those who are not confident swimmers can borrow floatation devices, so there’s no need to worry.

For lunch, the staff treated us to homemade hamburgers. There were also desserts like brownies! Everything was very delicious. They took us to two snorkeling points, and we were very satisfied both in our stomachs and hearts!

I participated with my two sons (middle schoolers). The only other participants were a foreign couple. The driver and instructor was fluent in Japanese and very kind.

We were able to smoothly ride the trolley from the parking lot to the beach without waiting at the entrance or for movie admission.

Having never snorkeled before and lacking confidence in swimming, I initially thought I would let my sons participate while I stayed in shallow water. However, the instructor took my hand and guided me through the waves, pushing me out to deeper water. Thanks to him, I was able to see colorful fish, schools of fish, and turtles right in front of me, which was incredibly exciting.

Since my sons and the foreign couple were also beginners, the instructor wrapped things up early. My son seemed to want to do more, but I felt it would be rude to request more time since I was monopolizing the instructor.

But overall, it was a lot of fun.

After spending the day at the beach, come back and get sweets & shave ice at the next door eateries and enjoy the ride back to Waikiki.

My family is still talking about the exceptional, exciting, fantastic trip that we took to Niihau. The snorkeling was the best that we have ever seen- clear blue water, lots of fish and plenty of time to snorkel. The colors of the water were incomparable- sapphire blue, azure, teal,aquamarine and garnet green-spectacular. The service and the crew were great- they really knew all about the islands and they were experts on snorkeling.
We would go again in a heartbeat!!

The parking lot designated from the Hilton Hotel where we stayed was quite a distance away, but the traffic flowed smoothly, and we arrived without getting lost and with plenty of time to spare. After checking in at the counter, we enjoyed some delicious coffee that was prepared while we waited for departure.

Once we set sail, we moved along the blue sea (at quite a speed!) next to the lava fields. There were just over ten participants, and only two groups were Japanese, including us. When we arrived at the spot, the guide explained the swimming area, and everyone entered the water at their leisure.

My English is at a middle school level, but the guide explained things with gestures, so there were no problems. It was my first time snorkeling, and although I was a bit scared in the very clear water, I quickly became captivated by the colorful, beautiful fish, and time flew by.

After swimming at two spots, we enjoyed BBQ hamburgers grilled on the boat, which left us both satisfied in our stomachs and hearts. We also visited several sightseeing spots and took lots of photos. The restroom on the boat was spacious and clean, making it easy to change into our swimsuits, which I personally appreciated. This is a great tour where you can see various aspects of the Big Island in just a few hours. I would love to participate again when I go back to Hawaii!

私の英語は中学生レベルですが、添乗員の方がジェスチャーを交えて説明してくれたので問題ありませんでした。
初めてのシュノーケルで、しかもかなり透明感が高い海で怖さも少しありましたが、すぐに色とりどりの綺麗な魚に見入ってあっという間に時間は過ぎていきました。
２ヶ所のスポットで泳いだ後に船上で焼いたBBQのハンバーガーを頂き、お腹も心も大満足でした。
観光スポットにもいくつか回り、写真もたくさん撮れました。船上のトイレは広くて清潔感があり、水着の着替えをしやすかったのが個人的には嬉しかったです。数時間でいろいろなハワイ島の姿が見られるお得なツアーです。またハワイに行ったら参加したいです！！

Compared to other Hanauma Bay tours, the price is set higher, but I believe the satisfaction level will be high. They go to offshore points that others don't visit, so the density of fish is different! I think the only comparable experience is a beginner diving tour (where you generally see fish in the same areas).

You can also see sea turtles and encounter large fish like parrotfish. You’ll get to see schools of fish as well. The guide, Alan, speaks Japanese fluently.

We participated as a couple, and there were two foreign siblings joining us. My wife cannot swim at all. It was her second time snorkeling, but she was quite worried as she wasn't used to the equipment. I thought it was reckless to participate since she might panic if water got into her gear, but she wore a life jacket, so it seems she managed to enjoy it safely.

However, it could be dangerous depending on the participants. In our case, a foreign child panicked, and the guide went to help. My wife was left alone and panicked as well. I helped her, but at that moment, I thought it was quite serious.

After that, we decided to return to the shore earlier than planned. The current in the bay is quite strong. Even those who cannot swim at all can enjoy it with Alan's support, but it's better to be cautious when there are multiple people.

ただ、ツアー参加者によっては危険かもしれません。私たちの場合、外国の方の子供がパニックになりガイドが助けに行きました。嫁が放置されてこちらもパニック。私が助けましたがこのときはさすがにヤバイと思いました。
このあと予定を繰り上げて浜に戻りました。
湾内の流れは結構速いです。全く泳げない人でもアランがサポートしますので楽しめますが複数居るときは注意した方がいいでしょう。

We all had a great time and I cannot say enough on how wonderful all the crew members are! They were all very attentive and helpful as well. My sister had never been snorkeling before and they had her swimming around and looking at fish in in no time. The area is also beautiful too and how cool was it to hang out on the sand bar in the middle of the bay?! Great time!

Since it was a trip using a rental car, I had no trouble with transportation or exploring places. However, the meeting point at Keauhou Bay is located deep down a road, so it's advisable for first-timers to check a map in advance.

As for the English tour, there was absolutely no need to worry, as everyone pointed out. All the staff were friendly and spoke slowly and clearly, making it easy for me, who isn't very good at English, to understand even the jokes. They prepared the snorkeling gear before we boarded, and then we set sail.

At the designated spots, we were able to swim freely over the coral reefs in two bays suitable for snorkeling. The water clarity was high, probably around 30 meters. I was able to see various tropical fish, including butterfly fish. I had hoped to encounter sea turtles based on prior information, but unfortunately, that dream didn't come true. However, I did have an encounter with a large octopus about a meter long.

For lunch, we enjoyed freshly made big hamburgers and fruits, and I relaxed on the deck while sunbathing. The waves were gentle, so I don't think there was much worry about seasickness. Additionally, there is an option for a diving tour, but even just snorkeling and skin diving were thoroughly enjoyable.

On the return cruise, we were guided past the Captain Cook monument and the coffee belt area of Kona, as well as the nearby Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, allowing us to enjoy a bit of sightseeing of the Big Island from the sea. また英語ツアーですが、皆さんがご指摘した通り全く心配ありませんでした。スタッフの方々すべてがフレンドリーで、丁寧な対応でゆっくりと話してくださったので、英語のあまり得意でない私にもジョークも含めてよくわかりました。シュノーケリンググッズを乗船前に準備していただき、いざ出航となります。

案内された目的地では、シュノーケリングに適した湾に２箇所ほどで思う存分サンゴ礁の上を泳ぐことができました。透明度も高く３０ｍほどはあったと思います。バタフライフィッシュをはじめ熱帯地区特有の様々な魚を観る事ができました。事前情報から海亀と出会えることを期待してましたが、残念ながら夢かなわず…。しかしながら、１ｍほどの大きなタコと遭遇することができました。

ランチには焼きたてのビッグハンバーガーとフルーツをおいしくいただき、日光浴をデッキの上で楽しみました。穏やかな波でしたし、船酔いの心配も特にないと思います。また、オプションでダイビングも１本楽しめるツアーですが、シュノーケリングとスキンダイブだけでも存分に楽しめるツアーです。

クルージングの帰路では、キャプテンクックの記念碑やコナ地区のコーヒーベルト地帯とその近くのプウホヌア・オ・ホナウナウ国立歴史公園の案内があり、海からのちょっとしたハワイ島観光も楽しめました。そのときの英語はナチュラルスピードで、なんとなくでしか内容の説明はわかりませんでしたが…。あらかじめ予習しておくといいかも知れません。

そしてなんといっても印象的でしたのが、野生のイルカと出会うことができ、ドルフィンジャンプも見ることが出来たことです。綺麗な嬉しく楽しい思い出となりました。

これぞハワイ島という程に自然を満喫できるお勧めのツアーです。でも、天気がいいときは、紫外線対策を忘れないように…。

Kona Manta Ray Snorkel & Night Dive Tour at Keauhou Bay - Sea Paradise

This was an amazing experience to witness. You are probably five minutes off the shore by the sheraton resort and are left to swim with huge manta rays that swim right up next to you. It is a little scary at first but after the first few minutes you get used to it. The staff on the boat are very friendly and pretty humorous. You definitly get your moneys worth on this activity because you are in the water for about 45 minutes and they dont let you get in until a manta ray shows up so your time with the manta rays isnt wasted. The only bad things I have to say about this activity which was kind of a personal problem was that I got stung in the butt my something. It hurt pretty bad but the stinging went away in about a hour. I dont think anyone else had this problem though so I wouldnt be too worried about it. I would definitly sign up for this activity is I was you!

This was our first experience snorkeling and my wife cannot swim. Our instructor, Alan, helped my wife overcome her fears and we were both able to enjoy the bay. Alan took great care to guide us and make us feel comfortable. We immediately observed a multitude of fish and coral reef creatures in some of the clearest water we encountered on Oahu. We fell in love with snorkeling and will definitely do it again. We would definitely recommend this adventure to everyone.

The captain and his crew were great. They did everything to ensure that we had a pleasurable time. The Na pali coast is incredible. Trip was good for all ages. The water can be rough, so beware if you are prone to seasickness. Only problem was hawaii activities gave us the wrong checkin time. We sat around for 1/2 hour waiting for the checkin. Also the cruise ended alot later then
we had anticipated. But in the big scheme of things , no big deal.

Our pilot was friendly, very personable with each one of us. I loved how he used our names as if we already had knowledge of what he was about to share with us. That was a fun way to learn. Amazing how large this volcano is!! Later in the day we drove from Hilo down to the area so we could touch the lava in person. Felt like we were on another planet. Lava and desolation for as far as we could see. Thanks for this experience. Blue Hawaiian Helicopters are the BEST!!! Awesome pilot and staff!!

Staff on boat was the best. I learned more than I ever did when I took scuba lessons years ago. Snuba and snorkeling were great, and we saw a pod of spinner dolphins swimming with our boat.
