WOW is all I can say. Took the kids and the wife to this tour, and we are from a landlocked state, so all kinds of any sea critters are new to us...but nothing, and I mean nothing could have beat getting an eyeful of the mantas gliding all around so close up. The kids went wild for it, and even my wife wasn't scared a bit. Overall it was truly a great experience, and one I would tell others to for sure try out. Families will love it and I even saw some single people just out enjoying the trip as well. Its really for everyone

My husband and I snorkeled for the first time in our lives at Hanuma Bay. We were picked up by Allyen as per the schedule at sharp 7:30 AM from our hotel. We reached Hanuma Bay well in time and were joined by a kind Japanese lady Fumio who works with Allyen. My husband and I cannot swim and hadn't ever ventured in sea. Everyone in our group knew swimming and they snorkeled with Allyen. We stayed back with Fumio who first taught us to keep our bodies floating. She then held our hands and took us through the reefs. We saw eels and schools of fish. For us snorkeing was one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives and highlight of our Hawaii trip. We are thankful to Fumio for putting in so much effort helping us stay afloat and navigating us through water. We would recommend this trip to everyone! Thanks ton Fumio.

I participated on a weekday in early October before the triathlon competition. We were the only Japanese people there.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any dolphins, but the boat was spacious, and the restrooms were clean, so I was satisfied with the facilities. There were slides and diving boards, and the slide was particularly enjoyable even for adults.

The meals and drinks were well-prepared, and I had no trouble at all. The staff was friendly and provided snorkeling sets and wetsuits for rent.

We had plenty of time to enjoy snorkeling. However, the coral was located at a depth of about 5 to 10 meters, and I could only see the fish up close after diving deep. Even just floating on the surface, the water's clarity was excellent, allowing us to see the seabed well, but the fish were quite far away, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

I think the boat was too large to anchor in very shallow areas. If you want to see the fish up close, diving might have been a better option.

１０月初旬でトライアスロン大会前の平日に参加しました。日本人は我々だけでした。
イルカは残念ながら見れませんでしたが、船がゆったりしていて、トイレもきれいで設備は満足でした。スライダーや飛び込み台があって、特にスライダーが大人でも楽しめました。
食事や飲み物もきちんとそろっていて全く困りませんでしたし、スタッフはフレンドリーでシュノーケルセットやウェットスーツ等も貸してくれます。
シュノーケルもたっぷり楽しむ時間がありました。ただ、水深５ｍ~１０ｍ位のところに珊瑚があって、深く潜ってやっと魚が近くに見える程度。水面でぷかぷか浮いて見るだけでも、海の透明度は抜群なので海底まで良く見えはしましたが、魚はとても遠くにいて、ちょっと不完全燃焼でした。
船が大きめなのであまり浅いところには停められないのだと思います。魚を近くで見たければダイビングがよかったかもしれません。

I really wanted to visit Kealakekua Bay, but it was a bit difficult to get to, so this was just right. We stayed at a hotel in Kailua-Kona, and it was relatively convenient to get to the meeting point at the Fair Wind office. We took a shuttle bus along Alii Drive and got off at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, from where we could walk to the office.

I participated with a female friend in September. It was my first time on the Big Island, and I wanted to do more than just relax on the hotel beach, so I was drawn in by the phrase about swimming with dolphins and signed up.

The weather was fantastic on the day of the tour, and we were picked up at the hotel and driven to the harbor. The harbor was small, but there were no procedures to go through, just a quick fitting for the fin size and we were off!!

The Sea Wolf, a large rubber boat, allowed us to straddle the sides, and being close to the water while feeling the wind was really pleasant!!

Then we met the dolphins. I was so excited watching the dolphins jumping in the water that I couldn't wait to get in. The dolphins were really close, almost touchable (though it seemed like we weren't supposed to touch them). It truly felt like swimming with dolphins (^ - ^)/

After that, we dove a few times while chasing a pod of dolphins, and we even got to see a manta ray! Swimming slowly with the manta was so soothing.

On the way back, we stopped at a beach recommended by our guide, Mr. Nawata, and it was such a beautiful beach. We took lots of pictures. I wished we could have stayed a bit longer to relax on that beach.

It was a very satisfying tour, having encountered both dolphins and manta rays. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Big Island and looking for ocean activities!☆

ハワイ島は初めてだったのですが、ホテルのビーチだけではなくシュノーケリングもしたいなあと思い、イルカと一緒に泳げるというフレーズにつられて申し込みました。

当日はお天気もとってもよく、ホテルでピックアップして頂き、ドライブしながら港へ。港はこじんまりしてましたが、何の手続きもいらずフィンのサイズだけあわせてしゅっぱーつ！！

大きいゴムボートのようなシーウルフ号はサイドにまたがって乗ることができ、海面に近く、風もうけながらとっても気持ち良かったです！！

そしてイルカとご対面。海上をはねるイルカをみて興奮冷めやらぬまま海へ。本当にイルカは近くてさわれそうでした。(さわってはだめみたいでしたが)なるほど~確かにイルカと一緒に泳ぐって感じでしたよ(^-^)/

その後何回かイルカの群れを追いかけながらダイブして、なんとマンタもみれちゃいました！ゆっくり泳ぐマンタに癒やされました~。

帰りにはガイドの縄田さんおすすめのビーチによって頂いたのですが、ほんっとにきれいなビーチでした。写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。もう少し滞在できたら、そのビーチでのんびりしたかったな~

イルカにもマンタにも出会えて大満足なツアーでした。ハワイ島にいかれて海でアクティビティをという方にはオススメです☆

In late September, when I traveled with my girlfriend, we participated in a snorkeling tour for two, as just lounging by the hotel pool and beach was a bit boring. Since we were staying in Kona, we gathered at the designated spot by rental car. The parking was limited and somewhat confusing, so we parked on the nearby street, but there seemed to be enough parking space available.

There were about 20 to 30 tour participants, mostly foreigners, with only two groups of Japanese, including us. However, throughout the tour, the staff was very friendly, and their explanations in English were clear and spoken slowly, which alleviated any anxiety or stress.

Once the cruise started, we traveled for about 30 minutes to the first snorkeling spot, where we enjoyed snorkeling and sunbathing for about an hour. During that time, a simple breakfast with bread was prepared, but the taste was not great...

We stayed at the second snorkeling spot for about an hour as well. They mentioned that if we were lucky, we might encounter sea turtles, but unfortunately, we didn't see any during our time. Lunch was then provided, and the hamburgers grilled on the boat were incredibly delicious and satisfying in portion size.

After that, we returned to the original port, which took about 30 minutes, and the tour concluded. Overall, it was exactly as I imagined a tour would be, and I think it’s a recommendable tour if you want to see beautiful fish while snorkeling. On the other hand, there was quite a bit of travel involved, so you can't really relax leisurely on the boat.

9月下旬に彼女と旅行に行った際に、ホテルのプール、ビーチだけではつまらないので、きれいな海でシュノーケリングをやる為に2名で参加しました。
コナに宿泊だったため、レンタカーで指定の場所に集合。駐車場は限りがあり、分かりにくかったため、近くの路上に駐車でしたが、十分な駐車スペースはある印象でした。
ツアー客は全部で20~30名ほどで、ほとんどが外国人で日本人は我々を含めて2組ほどです。でも、全体を通じてスタッフは非常に親切で、説明の英語も分かりやすく、ゆっくり話してくれるので、不安、ストレスはありません。
クルーズが開始すると、1つ目のポイントへ30分ほど移動し、1時間ほどシュノーケリング・日光浴を楽しみます。その間、パンなどの簡単な朝食が準備されますが、味はいまいち・・・。
2つ目のポイントでも1時間ほど留まり、シュノーケリングを楽しみました。運がよければウミガメに出会えるとのことでしたが、残念ながら我々の時は見つかりませんでした。そこで、ランチが用意されます。船上で焼いてくれるハンバーガーは最高においしく、量も満足のいくものでした。
その後、また30分ほどかけて元の港に戻って終了。
良くも悪くも想像通りツアーという印象で、シュノーケリングできれいな魚をみたいなどの希望があればおすすめできるツアーだと思います。一方で、移動が結構多いため、船上でゆっくりくつろぐとかはできません。

We Took This Snorkeling Trip Over The Molokini Crater Because We Wanted Something Different And Less Crowded. Well This Trip Was Right On The Nose. Our Guide Peter Was AWESOME. He Was Very People Friendly And Knowledgable About The Things He Showed Us And Talked About, It Was Nice To Not Be Sitting On An Over Crowded Boat But Instead In A Kayak With A Group Of 7 Other People. 4 Kayaks Total. We Went To 2 Different Snorkel Sites And Were Out On The Water For A Total Of About 3 Hours Or So.We Saw MANY Turtles And Lots Of Different Fish, Peter Even Showed Us An Octopus And Let Us Hold And Touch It. My Husband And I Really Enjoyed Ourselves On This Trip And Would Totally Recommend It To Anyone Thats Wanting Something Less Crowded. Sorry I Dont Have Any Photos, Were Still Here In Hawaii!

At first, she struggled to breathe properly, but thanks to the careful and easy-to-understand guidance from our guide, Alan, and his appropriate support, she was able to do it well by the end. He also took us to points where we could see a lot of fish, so even in a short time, we had plenty of fun. Personally, I really enjoyed that Alan played music that matched the scenery and situation during our drive.

We participated in a snorkeling cruise as a couple. Since we were staying at the Royal Kona Resort, we drove to the meeting point with a rental car. It took about 15 minutes to arrive. The meeting point is located very close to the Sheraton Hotel. There is limited parking, so I recommend arriving early. There were about 40 participants, and aside from us, there were only two other Japanese couples. The boat was large, so we didn't feel cramped and could relax comfortably. I was worried because no one spoke Japanese, but as mentioned in other reviews, we were able to enjoy ourselves without any problems. We snorkeled at two points for just over an hour each. There were slightly fewer fish, but the water clarity was excellent, and it felt very refreshing. After the second snorkeling session, we had lunch. The freshly grilled cheeseburgers on the boat were very delicious. The meal was served buffet-style, where you could help yourself to the food. It seemed that alcohol was also available for purchase. After that, we leisurely cruised back to the harbor. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any dolphins, but we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves very much. The staff were all smiling and friendly, so it was a tour where we could participate with peace of mind, even without understanding the language.

夫婦でシュノーケルクルーズに参加しました。ロイヤルコナリゾートに滞在していたので、集合場所へはレンタカーで行きました。約１５分くらいで到着しました。ホテルシェラトンのすぐ近くに集合場所はあります。駐車場が少ないので早めに行くことをオススメします。参加者は約４０名ほどで、日本人は私たち夫婦以外に２組だけでした。大きな船なので窮屈に感じることはなくゆったりできました。日本語がまったく通じないので不安でしたが、他のレビューにもあるように何の問題もなく楽しむことが出来ました。シュノーケルは２つのポイントで各１時間ちょっとすることが出来ます。若干魚は少なめでしたが、透明度がよくとても気持ちがよかったです。２回目のシュノーケル後に昼食を頂きました。船上でグリルしたできたてのチーズバーガーはとてもおいしかったです。食事はセルフで自分でお皿に盛り付けていくスタイルでした。アルコールの販売も行っているようでした。その後ゆっくりクルージングしながら港へ帰りました。残念ながらイルカに出会うことはできませんでしたが、とてものんびり楽しむことができました。スタッフの方は皆笑顔で親切だったので、言葉は解らなくても安心して参加できるツアーでした。

Due to the number of participants and their skill levels, we were split into two groups, and it seems the other group got to see a turtle. Next time, I would like to practice a bit before joining this tour again, so I hope to see you then as well.

小さい子供も含めての初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、親切に教えていただき楽しめました。
途中で子供が怖がったときも、ユウタ？さんにやさしく教えていただいたり、砂遊びにも付き合ってもらい、安心して遊べました。ありがとうございました。

The tour included sea turtle watching, a sandbar, and snorkeling, all packed into the morning, and I had a great time. While I think it would be nice to spend a leisurely time at the sandbar in Kaneohe Bay, this plan was perfect for us since we wanted to go shopping in the afternoon!

When we arrived at the sea turtle point, everyone searched for the turtles together. The crew and captain were quick to spot them. Although we couldn't see them up close, we were desperately trying to find the turtles popping their heads up here and there. It was so much fun! On this day, we also encountered three manta rays swimming in circles. According to the guide, it's quite rare to see manta rays. Lucky us♪

Unfortunately, the sandbar wasn't visible, but I was able to experience the thrill of standing in the middle of the ocean! The guide instructed us on various poses and took photos in order. Thank you! The views of both the ocean and the mountains were absolutely stunning and picturesque.

Finally, we went snorkeling! There was a snorkeling spot right next to the sandbar where we could see many yellow fish. The explanations were thorough, so I felt at ease. Even if I got scared, it was close enough to quickly return to the sandbar.

I was very satisfied to be able to see such beautiful scenery just half a day away from Waikiki!☆

ウミガメウォッチ、サンドバー、シュノーケルと午前中だけのツアーですが盛りだくさんで、
とっても楽しむことができました。
ゆっくり、サンドバーのあるカネオヘ湾で過ごすのもいいと思いますが、
午後からはショッピングに行きたかった私達にはピッタリのプランでした！！

ウミガメポイントに着いたらみんなでカメさん探します。
クルーやキャプテンはさすがに探すの早いです。
近くで見ることができなかったのですが、あっちだ！こっちだ！ってチョコっと顔をだすカメさんを
探すのに必死でした。とっても楽しかったです。
この日はクルクル円を書いているマンタ3頭にも出会うことができました。
ガイドさん曰く、マンタにはなかなか会えないようです。ラッキー♪

サンドバーは残念ながら顔を出していなかったのですが、
十分海の真ん中に立っている！っていう感動を味わうことができました。
ガイドさんがいろいろポーズを指示してくれて写真を順番に撮ってくれます。ありがとうございました！
海側も山側もとっても素敵な景色が広がっていて絵になります。

最後はシュノーケル♪サンドバーのすぐ横にシュノーケルスポットがあり
黄色の魚をたくさん見ることができました。
説明もしっかりしてくれるので安心です＾＾怖くなってもサンドバーまですぐ戻れる距離でした。

半日でワイキキから離れてこんなに美しい景色をみれるなんて大満足です☆

It's not often that I get to enter a sea where my feet can't touch the bottom, so I was a bit scared at first, but once I got in, it felt amazing, and I wanted to swim forever.

I have always wanted to swim with dolphins, and this tour made it happen! The staff member (the principal of Dolphin Middle School) was bright and very friendly, sharing valuable information about Hawaii while we were in the car, making the ride enjoyable.

Once on board, the captain communicated with other boats via radio to get information about dolphin sightings, and we moved around in pursuit of them. This added to the excitement and made it fun.

When we finally encountered a pod of dolphins and got to swim with them, it was thrilling and moving! Moreover, we were lucky enough to encounter them twice, and we even got to swim with sea turtles. The sea turtles had beautiful eyes and their movements were adorable! The ocean and sky were both beautiful, and I was very satisfied with the experience.

スタッフのお姉さん（イルカ中学の校長先生）は明るくて、とても気さくな方で移動の車中でもハワイのガイドをためになる生情報を入れながら楽しく話していただけました。
乗船してからはイルカ出没ポイントの情報を船長さん？が他の船の方から無線で連絡をもらいながら、イルカを追って、あちこち移動。これも臨場感があって、楽しかったです。
ついにイルカの群れと遭遇し、一緒に泳げた時は興奮と感動でした！！しかも、ラッキーなことに２度も遭遇、おまけに海亀と泳ぐ事もできました。海亀も眼がきれいで、しぐさが可愛かった！海も空もきれいで大変満足出来ました。

I participated with two colleagues from work. Since it was everyone's first time snorkeling, we chose this tour. The guides were very kind and taught us properly, so we felt confident handling the equipment and were able to enter the sea without any worries.

It was quite a day with high waves, and we were tossed around quite a bit. I struggled to keep up with everyone due to my lack of stamina, and one of my colleagues had a hard time getting used to the snorkel. Due to various factors, two of us came back early, but even for a short time, we were able to see a lot of fish and even met a cute sea turtle. (One of my colleagues seemed to swim together with it the whole time... was he flirting?)

They had prepared water and snacks, so we could relax and enjoy the scenery. (Hanauma Bay is enjoyable just for the views alone!)

I think this is a recommended tour for those who want to go but feel anxious about snorkeling for the first time.

ちょっとの間でもたくさん魚を見ることが出来ましたし
ウミガメのおんなの子にも会えましたよ。かわいかった。

ちゃんとお水やおやつも準備してあったため
ゆっくりと景色を眺めてぼーっとすることが出来ました。
（ハナウマは景色だけでも十分楽しめます＾＾）

まず、朝ホテルまでピックアップに来ていただき、その後港へGO！
気さくな船長や助手(～)の小さな男の子たちのお陰でイルカのいるポイントへ何度も移動してくれ、そしてダイブ！
海の中ではイルカのかわいい鳴き声がたくさん聞こえ、夢中でイルカを追いかけてしまいました。
残念ながら私たちが参加した日は曇りがちな日だったため、ちょっと寒く、また海の中も光のキラキラしたものは見れなかったのですが、それでもイルカをたくさん見ることができて大満足です。

帰港する際には海面を泳ぐ大きなウミガメをみたり、なんと、4メートルはあるタイガーシャークにまで出会うことができました。(もちろん、船の上から)

その後、ツアーには含まれていないのですが、ガイドの縄田さんのサービスで縄田さんお勧めのハワイ島一キレイなビーチに連れていってくれました。

めちゃくちゃキレイでした。
旅行中、ハワイ島のホテルのビーチやオアフでもビーチに行きましたが、他のビーチはキレイと思えなくなってしまうくらい。心から、もう一度行きたいビーチです。

イルカの体験から、ガイドさんの人柄まで、夫も私も本当に大満足のツアーでした。

海に飛び込むと、ガイドさんの声を参考に、イルカの泳いでる場所に向かって一斉に泳ぎます。
イルカには触れなければどれだけでも近づけます。
私も思う存分泳ぎました。
今回参加した皆さんの熱い気持ちが通じたのでしょう、イルカは手が届きそうなくらい近くに、沢山泳いでいて、同じ場所で長い時間遊んでいってくれるイルカ達もいました。
海の中では、イルカの可愛い鳴き声も聞こえますし、本当に期待以上の体験が出来ました。
帰りには、今までに見たこともないような美しいビーチにも立ち寄っていただき、最高でした。
ガイドさんは、イルカと泳いでいる写真もとって下さり、記念に送っていただきました。本当に至れり尽くせりでした。
皆さん、参加する価値めちゃめちゃあると思いますよ！！
参加者はカップルもグループも色々。お子さんはいなかったけど、参加者は皆大いに楽しめ、感動度の高いツアーと思いました。

We participated in the afternoon session with our family of three, including our 2-year-old. First, I recommend checking the website for low tide days and making a reservation. Since it wasn't low tide this time, even in the shallowest areas, the water reached about our bottoms, and we couldn't see the beautifully exposed sandbar as in the photos. The weather was also quite cloudy, so when we got fully wet, it felt particularly cold when we got out. For those who are sensitive to the cold, I recommend keeping your upper body dry. When I decided to travel to Hawaii, I really wanted to go rafting, so I searched for this tour. Although Japanese was hardly understood, there was no problem at all thanks to the kind and cheerful responses from the captain and the female assistant. I was curious about the lack of a mention of swimsuits in the packing list, but it turned out I definitely needed one (laughs). I think wearing a T-shirt or a long-sleeved windbreaker over the swimsuit is a good idea.

While snorkeling, we encountered wild dolphins on the way back to the shore by boat! We had gone quite far, but the captain turned back, and I was thrilled to meet so many dolphins there!

First of all, I have a complaint. My new wife and I had a great time. I did this tour 8 years ago with my family and had to bring my wife back to expreience it. The tour guides were awesome! Shawn was great as were all the others. Our cruise was on Sept. 20th1 It was wonderful! the views were breathtaking, the staff was great, the food was good and the snorkeling was spectacular!
