I participated with two friends in mid-January. We were picked up at the hotel around 9 AM.

While on the bus, we received explanations in both Japanese and English as we headed to the port. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes to get to the port.

We headed to the sandbar on a cruiser, and the waves were calm, so I didn't experience any seasickness, which I was worried about. On the day we participated, the water was about ankle to knee-deep. Since it was January, it can be a bit chilly when the sun isn't out, so I think having a long-sleeve hoodie would be a good idea. The water was very clear and beautiful. Although it was cloudy, we took photos when the sun was out, and all the pictures turned out beautifully. The staff were also very kind and took photos for us, which we appreciated.

For those with flexible schedules, I recommend checking the tide schedule online in advance and choosing a day to participate accordingly.

Being able to stand in the middle of the ocean is a rare experience. This activity is recommended for both first-time visitors to Hawaii and repeat visitors.

海の透明度が高く、とても綺麗です。
曇っていたのですが、太陽が出ている時に撮影をしたので出来上がった写真はどれも綺麗でした。
スタッフの方々も快く撮影して下さってありがたかったです。

日程等に余裕のある方は、事前にインターネットで潮の満ち引きを調査して参加される日を選ばれることをおすすめします。

海の真ん中に立てるというのは貴重な体験です。ハワイが初めての方にもリピーターの方にもおすすめのアクティビティです。

I was looking forward to the sandbar floating in the sea, but it felt different from the photos on the website; the water didn't recede, and it felt like we were in shallow water. (Since it's a natural sea, there are some unavoidable differences due to tidal changes...) The snorkeling was also short, lasting only about 10 minutes, so I didn't feel satisfied. However, it was great to see wild sea turtles up close.

I was really happy to finally go to the Heaven's Sea, which I had wanted to participate in for a long time. It was rare to do turtle watching instead of dolphin watching, and although I couldn't see the white sandy beach, I was moved by the wonder of being able to stand in the middle of the sea. Satomi took photos for me and was very kind in many ways. Thank you so much. I was a bit nervous about snorkeling after reading the reviews, but thanks to the good weather, there were no waves and it wasn't cold at all. This was an excellent activity! Our pilot, Toshi, did a great job of getting us close to the lava flows and the waterfalls. He was extremely knowledgeable of all the sights and was able to effectively communicate to both those who only spoke English and those who only spoke Japanese. I would highly recommend this two hour flight over the other flights available. What you are able to see in that amount of time is well worth the extra money!

For those who are Japanese and not using a rental car, I recommend hotel shuttle services. We used a taxi, but there was a bit of distance between the place where we checked and confirmed the wetsuit size and the boat. Also, on the way back, we had a lot of trouble finding a taxi. I think it would be better to provide more information about that.

I participated in this monitor tour with my mother.

The pickup was on time. However, I was surprised by the condition of the shuttle bus. During the journey, the driver provided some explanations in Japanese, but most of the explanations were in English.

We arrived at the port in just under an hour. First, we went to the sandbar.

The expansive sandbar was breathtaking, and the sense of unity with the sky created an indescribably wonderful view. Since it was low tide, the water level was about ankle-deep. We had plenty of time at the sandbar to walk around, play beach volleyball, and practice snorkeling.

After that, we enjoyed delicious hamburgers.

Next, we searched for sea turtles from the boat. We were able to see a few, but it was brief, so it might be difficult to see the turtles fully...

Finally, we went snorkeling at the coral reef. Since it's in deep water, I think those who are worried should use a life jacket and a float. The crew will attract fish, so I believe you'll see a lot.

I think this tour is recommended if the weather is good. There is a Japanese staff member on the crew, so it's okay if you don't speak English. The boat didn't sway much either.

時間通りのピックアップ。
しかし送迎バスを見てボロさに驚いてしまいました。
道中、運転手さんが少し日本語で説明してくれますが英語での説明がほとんどになります。


一時間弱で港に到着。まずはサンドバ−へ。


一面に広がるサンドバ−は圧巻で、空との一体感が何とも言えず素晴らしい景色でした。
ちょうど干潮の時間だったので水位は足首ほどでした。
サンドバ−での時間は沢山あり、散歩・ビ−チバレ−・シュノ-ケルの練習などが出来ます。


その後美味しいハンバ-ガ-を楽しみました。


次は船上から海亀を探しました。
何匹か見る事が出来ましたが、一瞬なので海亀全体を見る事は難しいかも…


最後は珊瑚礁でのシュノ-ケリング。
足が付かない所なので、心配な方はライフジャケット＋浮き棒を使用したらいいかと思います。
クル−が魚を呼び寄せてくれるので沢山見られると思います。


このツア−は天気がよければお薦めのツア−だと思います。
クル−に日本人の方がいますので､英語が出来なくても大丈夫です。
船の揺れもあまりありませんでした。


70歳近くの母と参加しましたが、景色がよくよかったと言っておりました。
老若男女楽しめるツア−だと思います。

I was amazed by the size of the sea turtles. The beauty of the ocean was just as I had heard. While snorkeling, I felt my physical limits. The waves were rough, and it was disappointing that I couldn't see anything! (I was grateful for the help that came to me, haha.) Spending time in such a beautiful place with my son, who is studying abroad at UH, became an unforgettable memory.

Our family of 4 enjoyed this trip so much! We had a bit of trouble finding the boat (not the marina) due to construction and limited parking, but once we walked on board, it was fun and relaxing. The people are terrific and you can tell they love their jobs being on that boat-very friendly and entertaining. Breakfast muffins, bagels, fruit and coffee were available as the boat took us out to Molokini (about 30 mins.) and an enormous whale leaped right in front of the boat! There were many more to be seen that day but it want an exciting start. Molokini was not overrated! Underwater Discovery Channel complete with tons of colorful fish, strange anemones and even a purple jelly fish. It was so beautiful against the wall of the crater. I swam back to the boat quickly to buy the $25, reusable underwater camera because it was so magical. The pix came out great! My 7 year old was nervous at first b/c she'd never snorkled, but the crew worked with her 1-on-1, made her laugh, gave her a noodle

We were blessed with clear skies and low tide, allowing us to enjoy the heavenly sea.

I participated in the monitor tour this time.

At pickup, an old bus arrived, which made me a bit anxious, but there were no problems at all! The driver even entertained us with singing while driving (laughs).

Upon arrival, we boarded the boat. First up was sea turtle watching. We were lucky to see many that day. Then we arrived at the sandbar. Unfortunately, it was only knee-deep, but we could stand in the middle of the ocean, and the view was beautiful!

Since I went in January, there was a perfect photo opportunity when the sun came out! At this time, we could practice snorkeling, but it was cold, so I quickly returned to the boat.

For lunch, we had homemade hamburgers!! They were incredibly delicious☆ During this time, the crew sang while playing the guitar, and we enjoyed a relaxing time.

Next, we moved to the coral area! Finally, it was time for snorkeling. It was cold, but once I got in, I was amazed by the coral and fish!

Before I knew it, the fun time had passed.

This tour seems to have started in the last few years, and since it was a small group, the staff were entertaining, which made it really great☆

今回モニターツアーで参加しました。

ピックアップ時にはちょっと古いバスが来て不安でしたが、
全然問題なし！運転手さんが運転しながら歌の披露とかしてくれました(笑)

到着して船に乗り込みます。まずは海亀ウォッチング。
この日はたくさん現れてくれました。
そしてサンドバーへ到着。残念ながらひざ下くらいでしたけど、海の真ん中に立てて、眺めもキレイでした！

私が行ったのは1月だったので、太陽が見えた時にシャッターチャンス！！という感じで写真を撮ってくれました。
この時にシュノーケルの練習ができますが、寒くてすぐに船に戻りました。

そして昼は手作りハンバーガー！！
めっちゃおいしくいただきました☆
このときにクルーの人がギターを片手に歌ってくれたりして、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごします。

そして、珊瑚エリアへ移動！
いよいよシュノーケル。寒いけど、入ってしまえば後は珊瑚と魚に感動！

あっという間に楽しい時間が過ぎました。

このツアーはここ数年からはじめたらしく、少人数だし、スタッフさんも面白くて、本当に良かったです☆

Dolphin tour イルカツアー

This time, I participated in a tour with Mr. Nawata, the same one as the manta ray tour. The manta ray night snorkeling is highly recommended, but the dolphin tour was absolutely amazing as well.

The experience involves diving ahead of the swimming course several times to chase after the pod of dolphins. Although it's quite rare, we were able to swim and play with the dolphins. They swam around us, almost touching us, and even playfully splashed us (laughs). In the clear waters where you could see hundreds of meters ahead, we truly got to "play" with the dolphins. Mr. Nawata said, "If you can't be moved by this, then there's nothing more!" It was the best experience. Just watching the dolphins swimming deep in the ocean was so beautiful that it made my mind go completely blank and filled me with happiness.

On the way back, we were taken to a beautiful beach where the locals go, and Mr. Nawata even acted as our photographer, for which I am truly grateful. I also posted a review for the manta ray night snorkeling tour, so I hope you can refer to that as well.

今回、マンタのツアーと同じ縄田さんのツアーに参加させて頂きました。マンタのナイトシュノーケリングも最高におススメですが、イルカのツアーも最っっ高でした。
内容は泳いでるコースに先回りして何度かダイブしてイルカの群れを追う？感じになるそうです。が、かなり珍しいそうなんですが私たちはイルカと一緒に泳いだり、遊んでもらう事が出来ました。イルカが自分達の周りを触れるか触れないかのところでグルグル泳いでくれたり、ウンチ？を引っかけられたり（笑）と、何百メートルも先まで見えそうな海の中でイルカとまさに『遊ぶ』ことができました。縄田さんにも「これで感動できなかったら、これ以上ないよ（笑）」と最高の体験ができました。海の中でずーっと深い所で泳いでいるイルカを観られるだけでもあたまのなかが真っ白になるくらい美しくて幸せになれます。帰りには地元の人が行くきれいなビーチに連れて行ってもらい縄田さんにカメラマンをしていただいたりと本当に感謝でいっぱいです。マンタのナイトシュノーケリングツアーの方にもレビュー載せましたのでそちらも参考にして頂ければと思います

I want to swim with wild dolphins! I participated to fulfill a dream I've held for many years. That said, since they are wild dolphins, I honestly thought I would just be watching them from a distance. However, in reality, I was able to swim with many dolphins at a distance that felt almost within reach!! I also swam very close to a manta ray! Our nature guide, Mr. Nawata from Aloha Kona Tours, was very kind and attentive, allowing me to swim without any anxiety, even in the ocean for the first time abroad. In fact, seeing Mr. Nawata enjoying himself even more than the participants (in a good way) made us smile and completely forget our tension and worries. He was a wonderful person whose love for the ocean, nature, and HAWAII truly shone through. The endlessly blue and clear waters of the Big Island... the friendly and adorable eyes of the dolphins... the majestic sight of the manta ray swimming gracefully... It was truly an experience beyond imagination... I lost track of time and swam with enthusiasm!! I definitely want to participate again someday.

野生のイルカと一緒に泳ぎたい！
長年あたためてきた夢を叶えるべく参加しました。
とはいっても野生のイルカなので一緒に泳ぐというよりも遠くから眺める程度かなと…正直なところそう思っていました。
ところが実際には、本当に手がとどきそうなくらいの距離で、たくさんのイルカと泳ぐことができました！！
マンタともすぐ近くで泳ぎました！
ネイチャーガイドの縄田さん（アロハコナツアーズ）がとても親切で丁寧な対応をして下さり、初めての海外の海でも不安なく泳げました。というかツアー参加者以上に楽しんでいる（いい意味で）縄田さんの姿に、私達も思わず笑顔がこぼれ、緊張も不安もすっかり忘れてしまったという感じでした。海を…自然を…HAWAIIを心から愛する気持ちが人柄にあらわれているような素敵な方でした。
どこまでも青く澄んだビッグアイランドの海…イルカ達の人懐こく愛くるしい瞳…悠然と泳ぐ雄大なマンタの姿…
まさに想像を超えた体験…時間も忘れて夢中で泳ぎました！！
いつかまた必ず参加したいと思っています。

I participated for the first time with a friend. At first, I was very anxious because I didn't understand English, but the staff were very kind and accommodating. The service was great, and we had unlimited access to fruits like pineapple. Snorkeling under the blue sky was amazing!!!! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate again.

I participated in an afternoon BBQ lunch tour.

I wanted to walk on the sand where the water had receded, but the water level was about 15 to 20 centimeters, which was a bit disappointing... Still, the beauty of the ocean and the surrounding scenery was truly amazing!! After walking on the sandbar, I snorkeled for about 20 minutes, but it was quite cold. A sea turtle swam right by me, and I was able to see it up close.

All the staff were very friendly, and I had a really enjoyable time!♪♪

午後のBBQランチ付きツアーに参加しました。

水の引いた砂の上を歩きたかったのですが、水位が１５~２０センチほどありちょっと残念でした・・・
それでも海の綺麗さ、周りの景色は本当に最高でした！！
サンドバーウォーキングの後は、シュノーケリングを２０分ほどしたのですがかなり寒かったです。泳いでいるすぐそばを海ガメが通りすぎて間近で見ることができました。

スタッフの方の皆さん感じがよく、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができましたっ♪♪
