I participated in a dolphin tour during my trip to Hawaii a year ago, but the Dolphin School was definitely more interesting. The tour guide really got us participants excited, so we had a great time both on the bus and on the boat.

The main dolphins were amazing. When we first spotted them, they came right up to the boat and swam alongside us. Even after we got into the water, they swam slowly around us. It was incredibly healing.

You absolutely must participate in this in Hawaii.

The sandbar is likely more enjoyable on low tide, but it seems you can still have a decent time even when the land isn't exposed. When I went, there was just enough of a path left when we arrived, but by the time we left, the land was gone.

On the day I participated, there were about 100 people, but the area to play in is large, so it wasn't too bothersome. You won't have the ocean all to yourself, though.

The staff were kind, which was nice, but I wish they would refrain from smoking on the sandbar.

The turtles and snorkeling were pretty average; the main attraction is the sandbar.

I think it's enjoyable for elderly people and families as well.

It felt like a paradise at sea! Due to the tides, the water was about knee-deep, but we were blessed with beautiful weather and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning ocean! The staff were all very fun people, and even though it was just a light snack, it was enough to fill us up. We were also able to see several sea turtles!

I was looking forward to the sandbar. After getting on the boat and listening to various instructions and explanations, we headed to the sandbar... It seemed to be a bit high tide, so the water was quite deep and initially cold, but we took some photos around the waist-deep area, and now that I'm back, I look at those pictures with nostalgia. During snorkeling, I was able to see many fish, as well as pufferfish and rays. The BBQ lunch was very delicious. The staff were all kind, and I made some wonderful memories.

The scenery was wonderful, and I was moved, but since I was seated next to the pilot (the computer assigns seats based on weight), I kept seeing the pilot yawn, which made me nervous. When I asked, "Are you sleepy?" he replied, "No!" so I took his word for it. The first hour was over Kilauea, and the second hour was over Waipi'o Valley. There was a stop at Hilo Airport for a break. Anyway, I'm glad we arrived safely.

素晴らしい景色で、感動しましたが、パイロットの方の横の席になったせいで（体重でコンピューターが、席を決めます）、パイロットのあくびが何度も目に入り、緊張しました。

I was moved by the incredibly beautiful sea. The guide was kind, and not only the Japanese guides but also the foreign guides could speak Japanese and taught us various things. It was rare for this type of tour to have a mix of Japanese and foreigners; out of about ten people, my family was the only Japanese. An American woman (I think) who was participating alone casually spoke to me, and it was fun to enjoy the foreign atmosphere.
The lack of free time was a bit disappointing, so I give it four stars instead of five.

非常にきれいな海で感動しました。ガイドさんも親切で、日本人ガイドだけでは無く、外人のガイドさんも日本語が出来ますし、いろいろと教えてくれました。この手のツアーでは珍しく、日本人と外人の混合で、10数人中、日本人はウチの家族だけでした。一人で参加しているアメリカ人（だと思うのですが）のおばさんが気さくに声をかけてくれて、外国気分も堪能できて楽しかったです。
自由時間がほとんど無いのがちょっと、、、なので☆一つ減の４つです。

One thing to note is to not forget your motion sickness medication. You might get seasick.

One point of concern is that for the first 30 minutes or so, you cruise around the bay before starting to prepare to see the mantas. It's unclear whether you're waiting in line because of many competing companies or for some other reason, but cruising around the bay at sunset was not interesting at all...

After that, it was up to the weather, but on the day of the trip, we were blessed with clear skies and encountered stunning views. The staff even said, "Today is super lucky!" The contrast between the white sandbar and the deep blue water was striking and beautiful. Walking in the middle of the ocean felt truly surreal. The staff acted as our photographer, giving us poses to strike, and we were able to take wonderful family photos.

After that, it was snorkeling time, and my husband and daughter participated. I took some time to explore the sandbar before returning to the boat to watch the snorkeling. This is our second time participating as a family, and we had a great time. At the sandbar, the timing of low tide doesn't always align perfectly, so the water level can reach up to our knees. Standing there and looking around gives you a strange feeling as if you're in the middle of the ocean. If you have small children, not being able to snorkel might reduce the fun a bit. Turtles can be seen everywhere. I wish it were a bit cheaper for the kids...

サンドバーではなかなかうまいタイミングで干潮にならないのでひざぐらいまでは海面があります。
あそこにたって周りを見渡すと海の真中にいるので不思議な感じになります。
