The scenery along Road to Hana is nice, it's an impressive ride. We got to stop where possible, and the driver tried to add some little spots here and there for quick extra photo opportunities.
I was most impressed with the final part of the road that nobody seems to mentions: the part after the Seven Pools which goes through the barren drier south side of the Haleakala. I liked this scenery a lot!

Be aware: if you want to stay on a budget: lunch is very expensive at the chosen restaurant. I brought my own lunch, which turned out to be the right choice.

I participated with a female friend. Our guide was Rick. He greeted us politely when we first met and was considerate throughout the experience, making it really enjoyable. He also suggested fun ways to take sunset photos, and we got some great shots.

It was really cold, but I was relieved that we could borrow down jackets, blankets, and gloves. The stargazing was absolutely beautiful, and he explained everything in detail in Japanese, which was moving and exciting.

I definitely want to participate again!

女友達と2人で参加しました。ガイドはリックさん。お会いした時の始めのご挨拶も丁寧で、終始お気遣い頂き、すごく楽しかったです。サンセットの楽しい写真の撮り方も提案して下さり、イイ写真が撮れました。
すごく寒かったけど、ダウンや毛布や手袋が借りられてたすかりました。
星空観測もとーーーっても綺麗で、日本語で丁寧に説明してくれるし、感動と興奮でした(^-^)
また必ず参加したいです！

On the day of the tour, the weather was clear with a blue sky, but unfortunately, we couldn't reach the summit due to strong winds. However, we were able to see a beautiful sunset just below the Mauna Kea Visitor Center, and later, we enjoyed stargazing until the moon rose. Despite the challenging conditions of strong winds and the bright moon making it hard to see the stars, it was wonderful to look up at the night sky with the other participants, listen to interesting explanations, and enjoy warm tea and biscuits. Although it was disappointing not to reach the summit of Mauna Kea, I had a fantastic time and created lovely memories!

ツアー当日、天気は晴れで青空も広がっていたけれど、山頂が強風で残念ながら登ることができませんでした。しかし、オニヅカビジターズセンターの少し下あたりで綺麗な夕日をみて、その後月が上がるまで星空を見ることができました。強風だけじゃなく、月が明るくて星が見えずらいという悪条件が重なったものの、星空をツアーの参加者の方々と見上げて、面白い説明を聞いて、暖かい紅茶を飲んだりビスケットを食べたりと、最高でした。マウナケア山頂に登れなかったのは残念でしたが、非常に楽しめましたし、素敵な思い出になりました！

It was a very enjoyable tour. I was impressed by the enthusiastic guidance provided by our tour guide, Sue, who is a second-generation Japanese American. Additionally, the service of taking photos and uploading them online is a valuable service.

非常に楽しいツアーでした。担当してくれた日系二世のすーさんの熱心な案内には感激しました。また、写真に撮って、ネットにアップしてくれるサービスは価値あるサービスです。

The zip line tour was a fantastic adventure! This tour is perfect for beginners because you can sit in your harness and enjoy the canopy views. Each platform is at ground level, there are seven cables with varied lengths and two rope bridges.

Although there was some rain and strong winds at lower altitudes, as we ascended, the weather cleared up and there was no wind, making it a perfect day for sunset and stargazing. The sea of clouds at 3,055 meters, the twilight after sunset, and the starry sky were sights I had never seen before. It was truly wonderful. I believe it would be impossible to reach the summit of Haleakalā on my own, so I was glad to have been taken there. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

下は所々雨が降ったり、風が強かったりしたのですが、上へ上がるにつれ、お天気になり風もなく、絶好のサンセット＆星空日和でした。３０５５ｍでの雲海、サンセット後の薄明、満天の星空・・・今までに一度も見たことのない光景でした。本当に素晴らしかったです。夜のハレアカラ山頂へは、個人では到底行けないところだと思いますので、連れて行ってもらってよかったと思いました。また機会があれば参加したいです。

For those visiting the North Shore for the first time, I think this tour, "Introduction to the North Shore by a Local Japanese Guide," is perfect. It made me want to explore the North Shore on my own in the future, perhaps by renting a car. The tree and Dole Plantation tours are geared towards children, but I believe they are great for first-time visitors.

The guide was wonderful and resourceful, taking us to two delicious garlic shrimp spots for lunch. Since the morning assembly went smoothly and we had some extra time, we stopped by a coffee shop favored by Noritake Kinashi, even though it wasn't on the tour route. Because it was a time when the waves were high and we couldn't see any turtles at the beach, the guide arranged for shopping at a shop popular with North Shore surfers and a restroom break.

We selected hiking. I heard that the hike to Waimea Valley (waterfall) takes about 20 minutes along the main road, but since we had time, we took a detour on a side path and rested in the shade on a bench along the way, enjoying a leisurely walk until it was time to be picked up.

With that, the tour concluded, and we returned to Waikiki without any traffic, feeling pleasantly tired. We were dropped off at our desired location, making for a fulfilling day even after the tour. Thank you very much!

ノースショアが初めての方には、「現地日本人ガイドによるはじめてのノースショア紹介ツアー」としてぴったりのツアーだと思います。将来レンタカーなどで自力でノースショアへ行こうと思いたくなるツアーでした。この木なんの木観光とドール農園観光は、子供さん向けではありますが、初めて訪れるには良いかと思います。
ガイドさんが素晴らしく機転の利く方で、ノースショアで美味しいガーリックシュリンプ店2か所を廻ってお昼ご飯を調達してくれたり、朝の集合がスムーズで少し時間に余裕ができたためツアーコースではないが木梨ノリタケさんお気に入りのコーヒーshopに寄ってくれたり、波が高い時期だったためビーチにカメが不在で見学する時間が取れなかった分、ノースショアサーファー御用達のショップでのお買い物＆トイレ休憩時間を作ってくれました。

私たちはハイキングをセレクトしました。ワイメアバレー（滝）まではメインロードのハイキングで片道20分くらいと聞いていたのですが、時間もあったので小道を入って遠回りをしてみたり、途中のベンチの日陰で休憩したりと、お迎えの時間までゆっくり歩きました。

これでツアー行程は終了となり、軽い疲労感でウトウトしながら渋滞もなくワイキキまで戻ってきて、希望の場所でドロップダウンしていただき、ツアーの後も充実した一日となりました。
本当にありがとうございました。

The instructors were very kind and taught us well, making it easy for us to fly! Above all, the view from the sky is exceptional.

インストラクターの方も丁寧に教えてくれて、安心して飛ぶ後藤さんができました！！何より空からの眺めは格別です。

Seahawk nice older boat very well maintained. Crew did great, worked hard to get the fish. From moment left dock untill we arrived back. Wanted to go again the next day. Would not change anything.

This was by FAR our best experience on Maui. We booked last minute and Skyline Eco accommodated us. The employees are extremely welcoming and warm. I noticed many older people felt a bit uncomfortable jumping from the zipline and Anthony really helped calm them. I felt like I was in great company too! We really lucked out and got a great group as well. The guys also showed us some of the plants along the trail. I was so excited when they pointed out fresh guava fruit! We honestly had such a great experience and left with huge grins on our faces. If you have limited time and a limited budget, choose these guys. You won't be disappointed!

Safe fun informative friendly also directed us to other local spots to visit . Had a great time .

Coastal horseback riding plan
On the way to the horseback riding location, we got to see the Dole Pineapple Plantation and some interesting trees, and we enjoyed garlic shrimp for lunch, which was a lot of fun.
The guide provided a wealth of information that was very impressive.
For the horseback riding, they selected a horse that suited each person, and the guide interpreted how to operate it, making it easy to understand.
As it was my first time riding, I was a bit scared at first, but we moved very slowly, so I gradually got used to it, and by the second half, I was able to take photos with my camera using one hand.
On the way back, we also enjoyed coconut juice, making it a very fulfilling plan that I highly recommend.
The only disappointment was that we couldn't see any sea turtles on the coast.

を見たり昼食にガーリックシュリンプを食べれたり盛りだくさんでした
ガイドの方のお話もすごい情報量で関心させられました
乗馬はその人に合った馬を選んでくれて操作の仕方もガイドさんが通訳して
くれたので良く分かりました。
初めての乗馬で最初怖いですがとてもゆっくり進むのでだんだん
慣れ後半は片手でカメラで写真も撮れました
帰りもココナッツジュースを飲めたりとても充実したプランで
おすすめです。
ただ海岸でウミガメが見れなかったことだけが残念でした。

I participated in various tours on my first trip to Hawaii, and this was my favorite. I had some anxiety about the English tour, but the staff were friendly, called me by my name, and spoke in easy-to-understand English. They offered to lend us boots for hiking, but no one took them up on it, so my sneakers got muddy ^^; Now it's a funny story... As for the bicycles, it would be better to correct the description of them as mountain bikes. You only go downhill from Tantalus. The bicycles don't really fall into the mountain bike category either. But it was fun. I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

初ハワイでいろいろなツアーに参加しましたが、一番のお気に入りです。英語のツアーで若干の不安がありましたが、スタッフがフレンドリーで、名前で呼んでくれ、分かりやすい英語で話してくれました。ハイキングで長靴を貸し出してくれるのですが、誰も申し出なかったので、スニーカーがドロドロに^^;今となっては笑い話ですが…自転車は、マウンテンバイクという表現は正した方がいいですね。タンタラスの丘から下るだけです。自転車もマウンテンバイクのカテゴリーには入らないし。でも、楽しかったです。興味のある方には、ぜひ参加して頂きたいです。

The tour conductor was very unique and it was great. Skydiving truly became a precious memory! It's an experience that is truly extraordinary and not something you would normally encounter. I highly recommend it!

My first skydiving experience☆
The weather was great, but the clouds were thick, so we jumped from a lower altitude than planned...
However, they refunded me for that.
About $30? I put the refund as a tip in the designated box‼︎
The person who jumped with me was very kind and communicated with gestures since I didn't understand English, which made me feel safe and able to relax (≧∇≦)
I want to experience it again when I go to Hawaii‼︎!

初めてのスカイダイビング☆
天気はとても良かったのに雲が分厚かった為に予定の高さよりも低かった…
でも、その分返金はしてくれました。
30ドルほど❓返金をチップとして担当のBOXに‼︎
一緒に飛んで下さった方も英語が分からない私に優しくジェスチャーで教えてくれ、安心して身を任せることが出来ました（≧∇≦）
また、ハワイに行った時に体験したいと思います‼︎!

We were picked up at the hotel and headed to the Onizuka Visitor Center (about 2800m above sea level). As we sped along the highway, we listened to our guide explain about the black cattle, sheep, and goats raised on a ranch on the Big Island. After joining up with other tour guests, we began our ascent up the mountain. About an hour and a half after the pickup, we arrived at the Onizuka Visitor Center. We had dinner from our bento boxes and took a stroll around the area. I was amazed by the stunning silver color of the silversword (a native species of the Big Island, Mauna Kea Silver Sword), and since this is also a sacred site for Hawaiians, I discovered a prayer area (the original form of an altar), which piqued my interest. It was clear that prayers were directed toward the mountain.

Dressed in warm clothing, we got back in the vehicle. The car began to climb the bumpy mountain road that could only be navigated by a four-wheel drive. After about an hour of rough terrain, we reached the summit. As expected, at 4200m on Mauna Kea, we could see the sea of clouds far below. Due to the high altitude, it is said to be 99% clear. There are 13 observatories at the summit, one of which is the Subaru Telescope. I was informed that a 14th telescope is planned for construction, but due to regulations, they cannot build more than 13, so one will likely need to be dismantled.

As we were doing this, the sun began to set slowly. Gradually, the surroundings darkened, and the sun disappeared into the clouds. The orange light reflected on the edges of the clouds after the sun vanished was mystical, making one feel as if there were a sun god in this world. Just to the left, Venus began to shine brightly.

Once the sun set, stars gradually became visible in the sky. The faint path of the sun was also visible, and it started to get cold. I spotted Orion, Cassiopeia, and the North Star. That was the limit of my knowledge. Eventually, the guide used a laser pointer to ask the tour guests about their zodiac signs while introducing the constellations spread across the sky. The world of Greek mythology unfolded before us. We saw the Orion Nebula, Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, and even Subaru, although some constellations had already set. Unfortunately, my zodiac sign is not visible when Orion is out.

After the introduction to the constellations based on Greek mythology concluded, we got back into the four-wheel drive and began our descent.

ホテルでピックアップしてもらい、鬼塚ビジターセンター（海2800ｍ位）へ。ハワイ島の牧場で飼われている、黒牛や羊、ヤギをガイドさんの解説を聞きながら、ハイウエイを突っ走ります。途中で、他のツアー客と合流後、山を登り始めます。ピックアップから1時間半ほどで鬼塚ビジターセンターに到着。夕食の弁当を食べ、周りを散策。銀剣草（ハワイ島の固有種、Mauna Kea Silver sward）の見事な銀色に感激、またハワイアンの聖地でもあるので、祈りの場所（祭壇の原型）を発見し、興味津々。山に向かって祈っていたことが分かります。
防寒着を着込み、再び乗車。車は四輪駆動でなければ走れないでこぼこの山道を登り始めます。1時間ほどの悪路を踏破し、山頂に到着。さすが、4200ｍのマウナケア。雲海がはるか下に見えます。高高度なので99%晴れるとか。山頂には13天文台があり、そのうちの一つがスバル天文台であると説明を受けます。現在14基目を建設の予定ということでしたが、法律で13基以上建てられないので、１基は壊すようになるだろうとのこと。
そうこうしているうちに、太陽が沈み始めます。ゆっくりとゆっくりと。やがて周りが暗くなり、雲の中に太陽が消えていきます。太陽が消えた後の雲の端に映し出されるオレンジの光は神秘的であり、この世に太陽神がいると思わせます。そのすぐ左の方向に、低く金星ががんばって光りだしました。
　太陽が沈むと、天空にだんだんと星が見えてきます。うっすらと太陽の通る道も見え、寒くもなってきます。オリオン座、カシオペア座、北極星を見つけました。そこまでが私の知識の限界。やがてガイドさんが、レザーポインターを使い、誕生星座をツアー客に質問しながら、天空に広がる星座の紹介です。ギリシャ神話の世界が広がります。オリオン座の大星雲、双子座，水瓶座、双子座、天秤座、さらにはスバルなど、もちろん、既に沈んだ星座もあります。私の星座は、オリオンが出ているときは見えません。残念。
　ギリシャ神話に基づく星座の紹介が終わったところで、四駆に乗り込み下山を始めました。

I had a truly wonderful experience!
Receiving power from nature really changes your perspective on life.
The sea of clouds, the sunset, and the starry sky were just amazing!

I heard so many stories about the Big Island of Hawaii, and it made for a fantastic day.

I want to bring my kids, who are waiting for me in Tokyo, back here again!
But before that, if I get tired of life, I’ll come back again (laughs).

After reading Satomi Kobayashi's "Aloha Spirit," I was looking forward to experiencing horseback riding in Waipi'o Valley when I visited the Big Island! About half of the participants were Japanese, and the other half were from English-speaking countries. There were only Japanese among the Asian participants.

It was my first time horseback riding, and I was nervous, but it was a very kind and enjoyable experience. I walked through the river and felt that I would like to try horseback riding again. It was a great experience to feel the great nature of Waipi'o Valley up close.

小林聡美の『アロハ魂』を読んで、ハワイ島に行ったらワイピオ渓谷で乗馬体験をしよう！と楽しみにしていました｡
日本人参加者は半分、英語圏内の方が半分ぐらいでした。アジア系は日本人のみ｡

乗馬は初めてでドキドキでしたが、とても親切で楽しい時間でした。
川の中を歩いたりとまた乗馬をしてみたいと思いましたし、
ワイピオ渓谷の大自然を肌で感じれて良い経験でした。

I'm afraid of heights, but I wanted to try something like this at least once in my life, driven by curiosity! I thought if I was going to do it, I wanted to do it in Hawaii, not Japan.

The scenery was truly beautiful, and while traveling in the Cessna, the clouds spread out before us! The ocean looked incredibly beautiful as well.

It was a wonderful experience that changed my perspective on life.

I wish I do air tour again. thank you we love it so much.

It was a new moon, so I was amazed to see more stars than I had imagined. The explanations about the stars were clear and detailed, using a laser pointer, which made it interesting. I brought two Uniqlo Ultra Light Down jackets, but since they offered to lend ski wear, I thought I would be fine and only wore one. I regretted that at the summit because it was really cold with the strong wind. But overall, I was very satisfied!

新月だったこともあり、想像以上にたくさんの星が見られて感動でした。
星の説明もレーザーポインターを使いながら分かりやすく詳しくしてくださり、面白かったです。ユニクロのウルトラライトダウンを二枚持参しましたが、スキーウエアを貸してくださるので大丈夫かと思って、1枚だけしか着なかったことを山頂で後悔しました。風が強いと本当に寒いです。でも大満足でした！

I tried it based on a recommendation from Zenji, who I met on a tour of the North Shore last time.

On the day we participated, there happened to be a small number of participants, so there was no waiting time.

Usually, there might be a bit of a wait, but it seems that waiting time is influenced not only by the number of people but also by the weather. If the weather is bad and you have to wait for it to improve, there could be a wait...

The instructor I had was almost fluent in Japanese, so I understood the explanations right away. My friend mentioned that the explanations in English were a bit hard to follow. However, during the jump, I think there isn't much need for explanations since you mostly leave everything to the instructor.

For first-timers, I believe that if you check a bit online about what skydiving is like beforehand, you can try it without any anxiety.

It was a beautiful day, so we could see whales and various landscapes from the sky; it was a breathtaking attraction. The photographer also captured great moments, including a two-shot with my friend and scenes where we looked nervous, which are really memorable. I definitely want to participate again next time.

前回参加したノースショアのツアーのぜんじさんにおすすめしていただいてチャレンジしてみました。

私たちが参加した日は参加人数がたまたま少なかったため待ち時間はありませんでした。

普段はもう少し待ち時間が出るようですが、待ち時間は人数だけでなく天候に左右されるようです。
お天気が悪く、良くなるのを待たないといけない場合待ち時間が出るとか…。
インストラクターの方も私がついていただいた方はほぼ日本語が話せる方だったので説明がすぐわかりました。
友達は英語での説明が少しわかりにくかったと話してます。
しかし、飛ぶ最中はほぼインストラクターに全ておまかせ状態なので、あまり説明も必要ないかと思いました。
初めての方はスカイダイビングがどのようなものか事前にネットで少し確認しておけば、不安もなくトライできると思います。

とてもいいお天気だったので、空からクジラやいろんな景色も見れて、絶景アトラクションでした。
カメラマンの方も一緒に参加した友達とのツーショットや私たちが緊張してて、後から見ると笑えるシーンも撮ってくださり大変思い出になります。
また次回ぜひ参加したいです。

On my first skydiving experience, I was really scared since I'm not good with thrill rides, but once it was over, I immediately wanted to jump again. It was that much fun! The breathtaking scenery was right in front of me without anything blocking the view. The moment I jumped, I didn't feel alive, but from there on, it was the best feeling. It seems that if there are even a few clouds, it can take quite a while to wait for the weather, but that day was clear and it was a less crowded day, so I was able to return to the hotel by early afternoon.

初めてのスカイダイビングで、絶叫マシンの苦手な私はとても怖かったのですが…終わってみたらまたすぐ飛びたくなりました。そのくらい楽しいです！絶景がなにも遮るものもなく目の前に広がっているのですから。飛び出す瞬間は生きてる心地がしませんでしたが、そこからは最高の気分でした。雲が少しでもあると天気待ちで所要時間がだいぶかかることもあるようですが、この日は快晴で利用者も少ない日だったらしく昼過ぎにはホテルへ帰ってこれました。

I have experienced horseback riding in Hawaii several times, and here you can ride through the river, and the dogs that are kept here are adorable, which is irresistible for dog lovers ❤. However, mosquitoes attacked us while riding, so we got bitten a lot. My daughter (who might be under 18) didn't want to wear the helmet because it smelled bad, but the cuteness of the horses made up for it. I wore water shoes so that my shoes wouldn't get dirty. Next time, I will bring insect repellent as well.

ハワイでの乗馬体験は数回利用してますがこちらは川の中を乗馬したりこちらに飼われているワンコたちも愛らしくて犬好きにはたまらない❤
ただ、蚊が乗馬中に襲ってくるので刺されまくり、娘は（１８歳未満だったかな）はヘルメット着用がヘルメットが臭いので嫌がってましたが馬の可愛さでチャラになります。
靴は汚れてもいいようにウォーターシューズを履いていきました。次回は虫除けも持っていきます。

I was worried about the cold, but it turned out to be a warm and enjoyable tour. We stopped at various places to take photos, and at the summit, they took pictures of us in recommended poses, which was very kind. The weather was great that day, and the sunset sinking into the sea of clouds was beautiful. The starry sky I had been looking forward to was also clearly visible, and we took plenty of time to enjoy the explanations of the constellations. It was moving to see the Milky Way and shooting stars. The lunch box (with miso soup) and the tea and cookies we had along the way were also great.

寒さが心配でしたがおもってたよりも温かく楽しいツアーとなりました。色々なところで車を止めて写真をとって頂いたり、山頂では、おすすめのポーズで写真をとってくれたり、とても親切でした。当日は、お天気もよく、雲海に沈む夕日がキレイでした。楽しみにしていた星空もくっきりキレイに見えて、たっぷりと時間をとって、星座の説明を楽しくして頂きました。天の川や流れ星も見れて感動です。お弁当（お味噌汁付き）も途中でいただく紅茶とクッキーもよかったです。

The instructor was cheerful and made sure we were properly equipped, which made me feel safe. It's a unique experience that I think you should try if you're interested. However, I did experience ear pain due to changes in air pressure. Without that, I think I would have enjoyed it even more. When you request photos, they also take a video, but you can ask for whichever you prefer at the end. I only requested photos, but they took over 200 shots for me.

I was scared when falling, even though I'm not afraid of heights!

インストラクターさんも、陽気ですが、装備もしっかりつけてくれたので安心しでした。
なかなか出来ない体験なので、
気になるならやったほうがいいと思います。
ただ、私は気圧の変化で耳が痛くなったりしました。あれがなければもっと楽しめたと思います。
写真を頼むとビデオも一緒に撮ってくれますが、
欲しい方を最後に頼むという感じです。
私は写真だけでしたが200枚以上撮ってくれていました。

落ちるときは高所恐怖症でない私も恐しかったです！

It was the first time for our entire family to go horseback riding. Although there were various troubles along the way, such as the horse eating grass and getting lost, those troubles turned into funny stories later, and everyone said they had a great time.

The scenery along the way was also wonderful, so one hour felt a bit short, while two hours felt long. For someone over 40 who doesn't usually exercise, I think the two-hour course might be physically challenging. My wife ended up with muscle soreness the next day.

家族全員、乗馬自体が初めてでした。途中で馬が草を食べたり、道を間違えたり、いろいろトラブルはあったものの、そのトラブルも、あとからの笑い話になるくらいで、全員、楽しかったと言っていました。

途中の景色もすばらしいので、１時間だと短い感じはしますが、２時間は長い感じがしました。普段運動をしていない４０歳を過ぎた人には、２時間コースは体力的に厳しいのではないかとも思えてきます。妻は、翌日筋肉痛になっていました。

Until I took off, I was nervous... but once I was in the air, the view was amazing! I had a really great experience. Thank you!

すごくいい経験ができました。ありがとう

We had a great time exploring Haleiwa and experiencing horseback riding. It was our first visit to Haleiwa, and we were able to enjoy some leisurely shopping and dining, making for a fulfilling experience. The horseback riding course took us along the beach and through some gentle hills. The sea breeze we felt from atop the horse was very pleasant. On our way back, we stopped by a beach and encountered a sea turtle. We had heard from our guide that it was rare to see one, so we were both thrilled.

ハレイワ観光と乗馬体験をしました。
夫婦ともにハレイワは初訪問でしたが、のんびりショッピングや食事をする時間もあり、充実した時間を過ごせました。
乗馬は、海辺や小高い山を散策するコースでした。
馬上から受ける海風はとても心地よかったです。
帰りに立ち寄ったビーチで、ウミガメと遭遇できました。
運が良くないと会えないとガイドさんから聞いていたので、夫婦ともに感激しました。
