Hawaii
I was really looking forward to going to the Big Island, but I ended up getting altitude sickness and caused some trouble. It seems that many people with weaker bodies can have their health affected by the sudden high altitude, even by car. The weather was bad, but when I reached the summit, I was able to see a magnificent sea of clouds and a sunset. The lunch was also delicious. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for participating in our tour.
I hope you weren't feeling too well during your trip. As you know, Mauna Kea is 4,205 meters high, and the oxygen at the summit is about 60%.
I think you must have been tired during your travels. Please join us for another tour the next time you visit the Big Island.
All of our staff are sincerely looking forward to your return.

We participated as a family in mid-March. To enter the Waipi'o Valley, you can go by car, horse-drawn carriage, four-wheeler, or horseback. Since our child wasn't old enough to drive a buggy, we chose to ride horses. It was our family's first horseback riding experience, lasting about two hours, and we were able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The weather was great, making it a perfect day.
After checking in, we browsed some nearby souvenirs until it was time to depart. First, we took a large 4WD van from the top of the valley down to the horse stable office. This road was quite steep, and it seemed like only a 4WD could make it up. At one point, the vehicle almost got stuck while crossing a small river.
Two hours of horseback riding felt just right. Any longer, and I think my backside would have been in pain. There were nine participants in total: three from Europe and America, two from Asia, and our family of four. The instructions were in English, but surprisingly, the basics of handling the horse were easy enough for children to understand. There was also a discussion about helmets, and since they weren't required by the waiver, the kids were fine without them. Our family was very satisfied with our first horseback riding experience. It was exhilarating to have the horse move according to our will. At first, I was so focused on handling the horse that I didn't notice the scenery, but as I got used to it, I was able to fully enjoy the deep nature of Waipi'o.
I was surprised to learn that there are people living at the bottom of the valley. The instructor mentioned that she lived there as a child and commuted to school from there every day. She said her grandmother still lives there. Occasionally, we saw people walking, and greeting them from horseback made me feel a bit important, which was nice (laughs).
The price was reasonable, and we joined from Kona, enjoying the drive along the way. I highly recommend this tour. It was also great to see the buildings from the movie "Honeymoon in Hawaii" in the nearby town of Honokaa.
By the way, the horse I rode, named Paul, was a bit of a troublemaker. I think he probably got scolded the most by the instructor. It wasn't my riding skills, I swear—probably (laughs).
We had an awesome experience zip lining at Kualoa Ranch. The zip lines were fun and the guides also made the experience a time to remember. We would definitely try this again in the future.
This activity was very fun and interesting. We were able to see the beauty of the inner island of oahu. The guide was very interactive and informative about the history and events that occurred at Kualoa Ranch.
This was something very different that we did and it was a lot of fun. There were about 20 people on the river floating which made it all the more enjoyable finding out where people are from. The water is invigorating, refreshing and relaxing. No matter how claustrophobic you might be, you can easily do this. Fun for the whole family.
I had a wonderful time at the spacious ranch in the North, swaying gently on horseback in the pleasant breeze! The blue sky, white clouds, green grass, deep green forests, blue ocean, and the dazzling sunlight created a vivid landscape that not only left a lasting impression but also provided an incredible sense of freedom, refreshing my spirit.
Although the staff spoke only English, they were friendly and spoke slowly and kindly to us, even though we are not very proficient in English. Wrapped in a warm atmosphere, I had a very enjoyable and relaxing time, so I highly recommend it! 😊
It was a great trip there and back. Everyone was really friendly and the driver engaged in conversation and made us all comfortable.
Wonderful experience! The guides also introduced the culture and history of Hawaii.
I went with a mixed group of about ten people, mostly Japanese, and there were some Koreans as well. The driver was an elderly man in his 70s. He didn’t seem like a bad person, but on the bus, he made us pass around a community newspaper where he had posted about his skydiving experience. He talked about his upbringing, spiritual matters, and global warming, and honestly, I couldn't understand what he was saying at all. That kind of talk was unnecessary.
When we arrived, everyone else took the training and boarded the Cessna, and they kept descending one after another. However, for some reason, we (I didn’t jump, but my companions did) were forgotten, and even though we arrived at 9 AM, the Cessna didn’t take off until after 11 AM. (Everyone else had finished by before 10 AM.)
As other participants finished their jumps and more people arrived, I started to think we were being forgotten. I occasionally asked the elderly driver, “Are we still waiting?” but he would say things like, “It’s just the order” or “It seems it will take a while,” and we were left waiting. The driver could have asked the staff for us, but he didn’t do that for quite some time. After about an hour and a half, he finally went to ask, and we were told, “It seems the paperwork was sent to the wrong place.” In short, we had been forgotten. I should have just gone to the reception myself to ask.
While we were waiting in a daze, there was a loud “bang!” followed by staff shouting “Oh No!” and “Emergency!” Then we saw someone collapse in the grass, and an ambulance arrived. It was shocking. In the end, it turned out that the parachute didn’t open in the air, but the person had failed the landing and fell a bit. However, I don’t know the details, and it was really scary. The person didn’t move for about 30 minutes, and the staff were all in a flurry. Ultimately, the person who fell didn’t go in the ambulance but left in a private car driven by their companion, so it seemed they weren’t seriously injured. But seeing something like that before jumping was terrifying, not enjoyable.
The driver was a bit off. We were made to wait a long time on-site, witnessed an accident, and then waited even longer because of that. Finally, we were able to jump, but the weather wasn’t great, and although I hoped for the maximum altitude, they lowered it (which is understandable). The only good memory was up in the sky.
Also, because there were many clouds, we were refunded $30 for having to lower the altitude, but it was a system where you had to go to the reception to request the refund yourself, which was another point of dissatisfaction. It’s strange that they wouldn’t refund unless you asked. The office was small, and there weren’t even ten customers, so they should have been able to keep track.
After waiting for such a long time, I went to the reception to file a complaint on the way back, but as expected, it was different from Japan. They really didn’t apologize! They made excuses about the paperwork being delayed, the documents going to the wrong place, the weather, and so on. I was frustrated that I couldn’t express even half of what I wanted to say because I don’t speak much English. It was all excuses. The driver insisted that he submitted the paperwork, but the reception made a mistake, and the reception said it wasn’t their fault.
Finally, when we were returning to Waikiki, the driver said, “There were various troubles today, so we were a bit late. Sorry about that.” Everyone in the tour group fell silent at that comment. The way he said it… Then afterwards, he called what seemed to be headquarters on his cellphone and reported, “Everything went smoothly,” which irritated me even more.
The driver’s incomprehensible talk, the wait time after everyone else finished their jumps, the accident, the refund system that required you to report it yourself, and their lack of apology.
I was exhausted.
When I went skydiving in Guam, the support from start to finish was fa
We had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend it for everyone young and old.
Our guides Kip, Kai, Marty, and Mica were friendly and provided excellent instructions for our safety. Book this activity!

This tour was great including the tour guide Greg
The only part that was not good was the food. The food was terrible. There must be a place closer that make much better food.
The main purpose of this trip was the "Sunset & Stargazing at the Summit of Mauna Kea." Although I had heard various stories from those who have been there, the incredible experience can only be truly understood by seeing it with your own eyes and experiencing it with your own body!
We planned our trip to coincide with the "new moon." (I later heard that it’s not something to worry too much about.)
Since we would be driving on mountain roads, if you are prone to motion sickness, motion sickness medication is a must-have item. They provide warm clothing, but it might also be good to bring a portable hand warmer. The bento was delicious, and having warm drinks like miso soup and cocoa was a nice touch!
During the star explanation, I was looking up for so long that my neck started to hurt (laughs). Seeing others lying down made me think I should have done that from the start. The explanations with the laser pointer were very clear and helpful.
Thank you, Mr. Konno and Stefan!
Thank you very much for participating in our tour. The Mauna Kea sunset and star tour is truly a popular experience. The sunset from the summit is exceptionally beautiful. Additionally, during the stargazing, you can see a sky full of stars, and you will witness shooting stars multiple times as you look up. It is truly a wonderful view.
We hope you will visit the Big Island again next time. All of our staff are sincerely looking forward to welcoming you.

I wanted to do something exciting for my partners birthday this year. I found this searching the net and thought it would be an awesome experience for both of us whilst on our first holiday together and it was all that and more. The team were super friendly, professional and helpful, making this an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone venturing to the Big Island. Exciting, slightly frightening (sometimes you have to do things that scare you a little...) and a great way to take in all the beautiful surrounding of Hawaii. Hilo was truly beautiful, even if it was a little damp.
I participated in a tour while traveling alone on Maui. They picked me up right in front of the hotel, and both Mr. Yamauchi and Rick kept the conversation enjoyable during the bus ride. They shared information about the sunset and stars, allowing me to have a great time even by myself! In the end, they even called the hotel for me, and I was very well taken care of!
The crescent moon was bright, and I thought that if it had been a new moon, I could have seen even more stars. However, the moon looked very beautiful, and I was extremely satisfied to see stars like the Southern Cross, which are hard to see in Japan! Thank you very much!!
Maui is located on the equator, making it a place where the Southern Cross can be seen depending on the season. This is a tour that you can enjoy whether you're alone or with others, so please come and join us!
I wanted to take my time sightseeing in the North, but I ended up getting garlic shrimp as a souvenir and eating it by the sea. I was looking forward to things like Matsumoto Shave Ice, and I had made a list to enjoy... but I was disappointed. Horseback riding was fun!
I have hiked many of the popular attractions here on Oahu like Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, and Koko Head, but they have nothing as elegant as what the Huakai Iki hike has. We booked our tour, and was informed that the check in location is at the Aloha General Store. We were greeted by our wonderful guides Keola and Holly. We started venturing off on the private roads owned by Kamehameha Schools, Bishop Estate. We had excellent views of the agricultural land, the coastline of Haleiwa, the mountain ranges of both the Ko'olaus and Waianae! We had learned so much Hawaiian historical facts, such as endemic versus native species of plants and animals, special trees and plants such as the Koa tree, ohia lehua, and the strawberry guava tree. Keola and Holly are excellent guides! The one thing that I highly valued is that you can ask them anything! They will tell you if they know about it, and if they don't they will either call you or email me and give you the answer! Many other tour guides on other hikes, tend to come up with excuses, or falsified facts. But not Keola or Holly. We had great views of the swimming pools (water ponds), nice high clouds, and wonderful native plants. This is the best hiking tour that I have been on by far. I will definitely go out with north Shore Eco Tours again, for their Huakai Nui Hike! Mahalo Keola & Holly!
I learned a lot about the history of the North Shore on this tour and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Our guides Keola and Holly were knowledgeable in Hawaiian history and culture. They have exclusive access to this trail and I highly recommend going on this tour as you will not get the chance to see the North Shore like this with anyone else. It was a real treat for me. I appreciated that Keola asked for permission to enter the hiking trail in a traditional way.The hike itself was wonderful. We saw a lovely lehua blossom on the trail! The area is home to a number of rare native trees that I will leave to you to figure the name of. This hike is not for people who are out of shape. You will get a workout on the hike! If you appreciate learning about Hawaiian culture with legitimate information shared, the natural beauty of the North Shore, and to spend a day of your vacation in nature, this hike is for you. Way better than a luau!
Since experiencing horseback riding at Kualoa Ranch, I haven't been able to forget the joy of riding, so I participated in this horseback riding session. Although I was a bit anxious about this being my second time and a long ride, the result was... it was incredibly fun!!!
The horses are very well-trained and respond well. However, I think it has to be in English... (or is that just my imagination?). With just a few commands like "stop," "slowly," and "go," along with some control of the reins, they respond remarkably well. I felt that just controlling the reins alone wasn't very effective, but when I added verbal cues, they responded perfectly.
The horseback riding was so enjoyable that time flew by. I definitely want to participate again.
For North Shore tours, since there isn't much time available for riding, I highly recommend this for those who want to focus on horseback riding! That's why I give it a perfect score!!

Although we got caught in traffic along the way, thanks to our guide's quick thinking, we took a detour and avoided a bad situation. On top of that, we were able to enjoy some great sightseeing on an unexpected route.
We had a great time aboard the Sea Hawk, and the Captain and First Mater were very friendly. I would have given this adventure 5 stars, but we did not catch one fish. We had one strike about mid-way thru our half day charter, but that was it.
I have done stargazing before, but this was the best. The guide, Ms. Ha, explained the stars with her extensive knowledge, making it easy to understand. First, we enjoyed the sunset sinking into the sea of clouds from the snowy mountaintop. I observed the mysterious colors of the sky with my own eyes. After it got dark, I looked up at the stars filling the sky, recalling the knowledge I learned in school, and we talked about constellations, the universe, and various topics. It was very cold, but thanks to my ski wear, I was completely warm. However, using the restroom at the mountaintop was quite a challenge with all the layers... I guess men wouldn't understand... I want to come back to Hawaii Island to see the summer constellations again.

We had a great horseback ride. We left at 3:30. Our guide was very helpful. Great views! It was a first horseback experience for two in our party and all went well. Well worth the time and money.
I think it's rare to have a horseback riding experience in such a natural setting. The paths are not overly maintained, which adds a casual and enjoyable feel. The guide provides attentive service in Japanese as you travel from the hotel to each point. There may be variations depending on traffic conditions and whether you encounter sea turtles, but it's best to participate with a relaxed mindset, keeping those factors in mind.
The zipline trip was a lot of fun. The views were great. Zipping over or past a couple of waterfalls was cool.
We happened to be there when the owners/bosses were out trying some new things. They took time to talk to us and genuinely solicited feedback that would make this and other tours more enjoyable. They were as friendly and personable as our excellent guides, Tim and Nainoa, jumping in to take photos, check on us to make sure we were having a good time, and to provide local information. Sure, they want more business, but also wanted to make sure we had enough fun that we would be repeat business as well. I'm sold. I highly recommend this zip for anyone looking to have some fun and excitement, see some cool scenery, and chat with a couple of locals.
If you go in realizing this is not constant action, you will enjoy this trip. Remember, it does take time to clip and unclip a group of people, one by one. But, take this time to talk to the guides and other members of the group, and those wait times pass by quickly...plus, you can get some fun stories or facts from the guides. Several of the stops have great views, as well.

I have had many rides on helicopters and this was the best. Never rode one with no door. My daughter and myself felt it was one of the best things we have done in our lifetime. The pilot was fantastic and having riden with the Sheriffs department as on observer several times in years past he ranks number one. What a smooth and exciting ride. I am telling all my family and friends to check out your service before anyone else when they come over to Hawaii. I will take another ride on my next trip back in the months ahead.
Many thanks, William, for your kind words. We're really happy that you and your daughter enjoyed your tour...there's nothing quite like flying with the doors off, eh? May you return to Hawaii someday and fly with us again.
After several years, there was nearly one meter of snowfall at the summit, and access to the area had been restricted until the day of the tour, which was fortunate. Moreover, it turned out to be a mild day for winter. At the snow-covered summit, there were a few brave souls enjoying snowboarding. From the summit, where you can even see Maui in the distance, the sunset changed its expression moment by moment, visible beyond the observatory. The starry sky was, of course, magnificent, and I hope to see the summer Milky Way and constellations on my next visit.
Thank you very much for participating in our tour the other day.
This year, there have been many closures of the summit gate, but we are very pleased that you were able to join the tour on a day when you could reach the summit amidst the snowy scenery.
It seems that many people are snowboarding at the summit of Mauna Kea.
Please do come again next time, aiming for a different constellation season. We sincerely look forward to your visit.
Thank you.

We took the 2 hour tour and it was AWESOME! I have to admit I was nervous about flipping and crashing considering I do not know how to drive. It was a lot easier than I thought to maneuver the ATV and became comfortable enough to enjoy the beautiful valley! The guide was friendly and easy-going, and made sure to follow the speed of the group. I am glad he was patient with me. We enjoyed the view of both valley and ocean and learned that there are some epic stories to be told about this place. You will definitely get a Native Hawaiian history lesson on this tour. I highly recommend the ATV tour, especially the 2 hour one. We got to feed and pet the pretty horses afterward, and wanted to go on the horseback ride too!
I've always dreamed of horseback riding, and I'm so glad I got to experience it for the first time! Since the duration was long, I was a bit anxious at first, but the person who took us was very knowledgeable about Hawaii, and I had such a fun time that it flew by! I want to go again!
Best tour we have done! On time and very educational!
