27 years ago, when I went skydiving in Hawaii, it was really exhilarating, but this time, both my spouse and I started to feel dizzy during the freefall and experienced a bit of motion sickness. We felt our age a bit and couldn't enjoy it as much, but it turned out to be a good experience for the second time.

This was a bucket list trip sister trip! The crew was great and a lot of fun! They were able to get us on the fish and was very exciting. The most disappointing part was that this was very misleading in the experience listing. We intentionally chose a trip with a high fish take home and brought coolers. The listing stated
-The captain and crew will filet and clean any caught fish at the end of the trip and bag it for quests, but any single fish over 100 lbs will stay with the boat unless otherwise agreed upon.

We caught 3 fish all 34 lbs or less and we each only came home with 5lbs of fish.
We asked the captain about this and was told that that's not how it was done. We felt very misled and would have chosen a different charter had We have known.
Was a bummer ending to a fun day and came home empty handed.

I had always wanted to join a stargazing tour on the Big Island of Hawaii, and this was my first time participating. The guide spoke Japanese, which made me feel very comfortable joining the tour.

On the day of the tour, it was quite cloudy at sea level, and I was worried about whether we would be able to see the sunset and the stars. However, since Mauna Kea is higher than the clouds, we were able to see the sunset above the sea of clouds, which was very magical and wonderful.

We could see the stars, but unfortunately, the moonlight was too bright, and we couldn't see the Milky Way. 💦 It was an opportunity to experience how precious moonlight is in complete darkness. I definitely want to participate again when I visit the Big Island!

The wind was stronger than I imagined, but I was kindly lent a down jacket, which made it possible to enjoy the sunset at the summit despite the cold.

The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and it was great to see an artificial satellite for the first time. I was able to have an experience that I wouldn't have been able to have on my own, as they explained things using a laser pointer in both English and Japanese. It seems that the beauty of the starry sky is influenced not only by the weather but also by the moon, so if you can choose a date, going on a new moon day will make it look even more beautiful!

First off the driver, Matthew was great, I couldn't find the pick up spot and he called me and got me there. My fault, I get lost crossing the street. At 6:40 AM, a shuttle arrived to pick us up in Waikiki. After stopping at two locations, there were a total of 10 of us in the van. We arrived at the site in about an hour. There were various languages being spoken in the van, which added to the experience (Japanese, Chinese, American).

Upon arrival, we checked in and entered the necessary information on an iPad. Once that was done, we waited on a bench. *I got bitten by a bug during this time, so it might be good to have something like Muhi (anti-itch cream) on hand.

When it was our turn, my name was displayed on a board, and the instructor helped me put on the gear. The person assisting me would be the one jumping with me. I was worried because I didn't understand English well, but the instructors are used to dealing with Japanese participants, so it was fine.

After that, we boarded the Cessna and went up into the sky. I enjoyed the view while waiting excitedly for the moment 💓. After that, I just had to trust the instructor and jump together. Make sure to keep your eyes open and enjoy the beautiful sky and ocean of Hawaii! ✨ After the parachute opens, they will even teach you a bit about steering.

I recommend taking photos and videos (I keep looking back at them with nostalgia). I was surprised that the instructor was wearing sandals, but since they are experienced, I felt safe until landing (*•̀ᴗ•́*)👍. Once everyone had completed their dives, they took us back to Waikiki.

We arrived at the hotel around 11:40 AM, so it felt like we spent the whole morning on this adventure. I hope everyone gets to have a fun experience too! ✨

数年前に訪れた時、やれなかったのがずっと心残りで、今回のHawaii旅行では何がなんでもスカイダイビングはやろう！と決めて参加しました。
その際、ベルトラの体験談がとても参考になったので、どなたかの参考になれば幸いです。

6時40分にワイキキへ送迎車が来てくれました。その後2箇所経由してバンには計10名で乗り合わせ。1時間ほどで現地に着きました。車内では色んな言葉が飛び交っておりこれも良い体験になりましたw(日本人、中国人、アメリカ人)
到着後、受付し、iPadで必要事項の入力。終わったらベンチがあるのでそこで待機。
※この時虫に刺されました💦【ムヒ】などあると良いでしょう。

順番になると掲示板に自分の名前が表示され、インストラクターの方が器具を装着してくれます。この時対応してくれる方が一緒に飛んでくださる方になります。英語が分からなくて不安でしたが、インストラクターの方も日本人の対応に慣れているので大丈夫です。
その後セスナに乗り込んで上空まで。景色を楽しみながらワクワクドキドキその時を待ちます💓
後はインストラクターに任せて一緒に飛ぶだけ(^^)
目を閉じないように、Hawaiiの綺麗な空と海をちゃんと楽しんでください✨
パラシュートが開いてからは軽く操縦も教えてくれますよ

同乗者全員のダイブが終わりましたらワイキキまで送迎してくれます。
11時40分頃ホテルに着いたので、ざっと午前中いっぱいの感じでした。
