This was an amazing experience. Our captain and the diver were really great. While we were "waiting" for the mantas to arrive, our diver went to the ocean floor to pick up some sea urchins and sea cucumbers to show us. He put them back of course, but it made the trip even more interesting. Them the mantas arrived and put on an amazing show!

I've been interested in Dolphin Quest for a while and thought I would let him participate if the opportunity arose. My son, who doesn't speak much English, joined a group with other foreign families and seemed to enjoy touching the dolphins. My wife and I, who did not participate, watched from the sidelines. While the pricing may be set based on costs for caring for the dolphins and labor, I thought it would be easier to participate if there were more discounts available. The photo prices are also high.

On November 6th, I participated with a friend, just the two of us. We are in our late 30s. It was my first time kayaking, but I was able to paddle smoothly right away. I thought we would be experiencing it in a bay, but we headed straight out into the open sea. I was a bit surprised, but I didn't feel scared at all.

I also enjoyed snorkeling in a place where no one else was around. You can get some really cool photos too. I just wish we could have seen some dolphins! It was perfect.

You might want to be a little careful about sunburn and seasickness. :) But it was very refreshing and fun!

カヤックは初めてでしたが、すぐにスイスイと漕ぐことができました。湾の中で体験する感じかなぁと思っていたら、がんがん大海原へ。ちょっとびっくりしましたが、こわい思いは全くしなかったです。

We thoroughly enjoyed thrilling rafting and beautiful snorkeling in the ocean under wonderful weather! The service from the captain and crew was absolutely five-star! In the morning, we were able to swim leisurely before the snorkeling spot at Kealakekua Bay became crowded with boats, and we got to see and even touch many dolphins up close. The sea, sparkling like a jewel, was also very satisfying. My kids (especially my son) were thrilled, saying the captain was an excellent navigator and super cool, and that this was the most fun they’ve ever had on a trip. They can’t wait to join again next time!

★ Sunscreen is a must. Sunglasses and a lightweight beach towel are also essential. It gets quite chilly while swimming. You might not need a hat as it could blow away. Since large bags cannot be taken on the boat, it’s best to bring only what you need in a compact backpack. Sandals are sufficient for footwear. My younger child (9) can swim but borrowed a life jacket from the reception office (which is free, of course). My older child (13) got tired and borrowed a noodle (a floating tube like macaroni) halfway through. Having a noodle makes it easier. There isn’t a specific place to change after returning, so you’ll either stay in your swimsuit or change in the rental car. There was a restaurant and restroom where we disembarked! ★

下の子（9）は泳げますが受付事務所でライフジャケットを借りました（もちろん無料です）上の子（13）疲れて途中でヌードル（マカロニみたいな浮くチューブ）を借りました。ヌードルがあると楽です。帰りに着替える場所は特に無いので、水着のままかレンタカーの中で着替えるかになります。下船した所にレストランとトイレがありましたよ★

After watching Miho Kanno on television, I really wanted to join a doorless helicopter tour. Before the tour, we received a thorough briefing, which made me feel secure about getting on the helicopter. Since it was my first time in a helicopter, I expected some turbulence, but it felt smooth as if gliding over the water, so I had no anxiety. I was able to see the lava flowing into the ocean and the steam rising, as well as feel the hot winds. Additionally, we had a bird's-eye view of waterfalls like Rainbow Falls, and my family of three is thrilled to have had the best experience of our lives. After the tour, my wife thanked me for giving her the front seat. According to her, the front seat was the best. Next time, I want to let my daughter sit there. I definitely want to recommend this tour to my friends. Thank you very much.

We participated as a family, and on that day, it was just us. We were informed that the sea was in the best condition with no wind since the morning, and it was very reassuring that they spoke to us in Japanese. I had read in reviews that some people get seasick, so I took motion sickness medicine, but I ended up feeling sick myself. The kids were paddling slowly, and we couldn't reach our destination... However, after returning, we were able to snorkel and see beautiful fish, which made us very satisfied. Since it was an early morning plan, we were able to play at a nearby beach on our way back, making the day feel very long and enjoyable.

I was a bit worried about the 6:40 AM pickup, but I woke up well in the morning, basked in the sunlight, and was able to participate with a refreshing feeling. The pickup location was easy to find, and despite being a small group tour, we were lucky to have just our family. The guide was Japanese, which made it easy to follow along with confidence. I found out about an activity where you can swim with dolphins and made a reservation after arriving on-site. There were three groups of six people on the boat. The female captain was very cheerful and kind, allowing everyone to try multiple times until we could swim with the dolphins. Wild dolphins are very fast, so it felt more like a lucky observation rather than swimming together, but seeing the dolphins underwater was incredibly cute and a valuable experience! Swimming with dolphins requires some luck, and they appear for just a moment, so I was very satisfied with choosing a tour that included snorkeling. The water where we snorkeled was extremely clear, and there were many fish! It was beautiful.

However, compared to other dolphin tours, the price is high even without transportation. I think it's understandable due to the small group size. That said, the atmosphere was very homey and enjoyable, and it was nice to learn about Hawaii's history at a relaxed pace. The fruits and tea we had after snorkeling were also very delicious. The speedboat was thrilling, comparable to a roller coaster, and that was one of the fun aspects of the tour! Motion sickness medication is a must! Even with sunscreen, you can get quite sunburned, so I was glad I wore a rash guard!

ただ、他のイルカツアーに比べると、送迎無しにも関わらず値段が高いです。少人数制なので仕方ないとは思います。その分アットホームな雰囲気で楽しかったですし、ハワイの歴史などもゆっくりと教えて頂けたのは良かったです。シュノーケリングの後に頂いたフルーツもお茶もとっても美味しかったです☆
高速船はジェットコースター並の迫力でそれもこのツアーの楽しさの１つでした☆酔い止めは必須です！日焼け止めを塗っていてもかなり焼けるので、ラッシュガードを着ておいてよかったです！

This was my first experience with my family. Personally, it was my third time, but I’ll briefly outline the pros and cons.

First, the pros:
1. The marina is very close to the points, so the total travel time is short.
2. The boat is large and comfortable.
3. There was a child who gets seasick on board, but since the points are close, I think it was relatively easy for them.

Now, the cons:
1. The explanations are only in English, but I don’t think that will be a problem.
2. The journey is short, so you can’t enjoy the scenery of Kona town.

Depending on the timing, I think the LED lights were strong, and we had a relatively good number of sightings.

I plan to come back here next time as well.

We were lucky enough to see dolphins by chance, but I felt that encountering them depends on luck since we didn't forcefully search for or chase them. The boat swayed, but it was a large vessel, so I felt safe. The restrooms were clean, and the staff members were kind (they can communicate in English).

I was hesitant to participate because the price was high, but I really wanted to see the red lava, so I decided to join.

The helicopter with doors had a pilot plus six passengers, while the doorless helicopter had a pilot plus four passengers.

Check-in time is one hour before departure. I parked my rental car in the airport parking lot and paid about $7 at the parking lot exit on my way back. Luggage is generally left at the reception. If you want to bring items like cameras or smartphones, they must have a strap, so be careful. A short strap can be purchased for $2. I brought my smartphone in a waterproof cover with a strap since it couldn't have a strap attached. Long hair needs to be tied up.

Forty minutes before departure, we watched a video about lava and volcanoes, followed by a safety briefing from the staff regarding seat belts and other instructions.

途中、黒い溶岩の大地の中で赤い溶岩が見えているところの上空を旋回して写真を撮らせてくれたりしました。左右どちらに乗っても撮れるように旋回してくれたので若干酔いました。
火口では表面の大部分が黒いですが、一部赤い溶岩がふつふつと動いているのが見れてとても感動しました。
（個人的にとても見たかったものなので）

その後は雲の切れ間を通りヒロへと帰還。
途中いくつかの滝を見たりヒロの街並みが見れます。
パイロットが英語でひたすら説明してくれます。

合計1時間弱のフライトでしたがヘリコプターという非日常に加えて念願の赤い溶岩が見れて大満足でした。
オーシャンエントリーが見られる船のツアーとも迷いましたが2017年8月の活動の様子だとオーシャンエントリーではがっつり赤い溶岩が流れてくるというわけではなさそうな感じがしたので火口の内部の赤い溶岩を直接見ることができたこのツアーに参加して良かったと思いました。
