Great helicopter ride
Reviewed by: CHERYL , 2019/11/23This was a great helicopter ride over volcanoes, waterfalls, and the rain forest. The staff treated us great, including safety procedures. I can say I was nervous. However, the staff was assuring to me along with making sure all of us were safely seated. I highly recommend this excursion. It was a great day. Love, love, loved it. I would do this again.

If you haven't experienced zip lining before (We all had) this was a great way to be introduced and build up to the longer and higher lines. Great views, a fun time.

Reviewed by: えぽち, 2019/11/10高所恐怖症であるかつ、値段も決して安くないのでヘリコプターは一生乗らないと思っていましたが、以前ハワイ島にいった知人の勧めで今回乗ってみることに。私は滝とキラウェア火山の両方が見れる2時間のコースに参加したのですが、この2時間は本当に感動のしっぱなしで、鳥肌と涙の止まらないツアーでした。ハワイ島は車や徒歩では見れない壮大な景色がたくさんあるので、是非皆さんにも空からの景色を一度みていただきたいです。可能ならば何度でもまたこのツアーに参加したいほどです！

お天気が残念でした
Reviewed by: Ｎ．Ｙ, 2019/09/15集合場所まではレンタカーでコナ地区を6：30ごろ出発し8：30頃には到着できました。集合時間の1時間前くらいには着きました。
当日はヒロ地区は雨で、それもけっこう降っていたので不安になり電話で問い合わせをしました。(英語です）でも「危ないようなことはないので、やります」の回答でしたので そのまま集合場所で待機して時間になるとツアーの車が確認できたので、ツアーの車に乗って開始場所まで行きました。そのころには雨も小降りになり、レインパーカーも貸して頂けたので問題なくでした。
自転車は初めに用意されていたものは大き目で、止まった状態では足が着けなかったので、小さい自転車に変えてもらいました。しかし実際ツアーが始まると若干の登りもあるため、自転車が小さいと登り道をこぐのは大変だったのかも？しれません。ただ足が着くのは安心感があります。私の場合は足が着く安心感を選びました。公園内の走行なので途中 車に会うこともありますが そんなに危ないと思う事はありませんでした。ただお天気がイマイチでしたので
晴れていたら倍以上に気持ちいいんだろうな～というのが感想です。
また快晴の日にリベンジできたら…と思います。

最高！では済まない、ぜひお勧めしたいツアーです！
Reviewed by: Sapphire, 2019/08/3020年前にヒロからのヘリコプターツアーに参加したことがありました。そのときは乗り物酔いし、降りたときには真っ青になっていた記憶が…。だから、今回は、娘に酔い止め服用を勧め、いざ参加。ところが、いまのヘリコプターってまったく揺れないんですね！それとも今回のヘリコプターが優れているのかしら。とにかくものすごく快適です。そして、パイロットは日本人の望月さん。英語スピーカーの操縦士さんと比べると理解できる情報量が違う！日本語スピーカーのパイロットを希望しても、常にかなうわけではないようですが、私たちはラッキーでした。ちなみに、望月さんのホームページから申込むと確率アップのようです。ハワイ在住歴が長い望月さん、火山活動のほんとうの様子を伝えようとする真摯な姿が印象的です。極めつきはコハラの滝。自身がドローンになったよう…。ほんとうに筆舌尽くし難い情景でした。滝つぼのすぐそばに着陸する際のヘリのプロペラが巻き起こす風に揺さぶられる草木。溶岩の黒色、茶色だけではない緑色のハワイ島の姿。このツアー、確かに費用はかかります。が、その価値をはるかに上回る、ぜひみなさんに強烈にお勧めしたいツアーです。最後に、パイロットさんにお渡しするチップをご用意ください。こんなにツアー料金が高いのに、さらにチップ？と思うかもしれません。でも、降りるときはお渡ししたくなります。もしパイロットが、搭乗者全員が素晴らしい景色を満喫できるよう旋回を繰り返してくれる望月さんなら、なおさらです。

Well worth it!

Reviewed by: ビギナーズラック, 2019/08/187:00からのフライトで朝日を見ながらの出発でした。アメリカ人のお客さんと同席の機内でしたが、日本人パイロットのトシさんが英語と日本語を使い分けながらハワイ島の自然について熱く語ってくれました。ハワイ島に着いた翌日でまだ島のことをよくわかっていない状況だったので空から全貌を見ることができてとてもよかったです！トシさんは軽妙なトークはもちろん操縦も上手くて機内はとても安定していて酔うこともなく安心して景色を楽しむことができました！ヘリコプターでしか入っていくことのできない渓谷や滝の風景もあり、大満足のフライトでした！値段は高いですが、その価値は十分にあったと思います！トシさんどうもありがとうございました！

ちょっと 失望

英語のインストラクターしかいない事に不安を感じつつ参加しましたが、 英語を話せない日本人という事で、 参加している他のアメリカ人の参加者とインストラクターが話をして大笑いしている内容を聞いて息子がショック受けていました。 「 私は日本から来た猿ですウキウキ！」との発言をしている言葉を聞いて・・ 息子は12歳ですが英会話が少し解るのです。 女性のインストラクターが少し気を使って頂けたのが幸いでした。 非常に残念ですが 話す言葉がありません。

The views of the craters at Volcano National Park we’re amazing and the number and size of the waterfalls at the end was unexpected and spectacular. All in 45 minutes! We drove the saddle road from Waikoloa for an hour and forty minutes to take the helicopter out of Hilo for a much lower cost than from the Kona side.

貴重な体験が出来ました
Reviewed by: choco, 2019/07/12山の上から降りました。途中でガイドさんより説明を受けました。全て英語だったので完全には聞き取れませんでしたが、見るだけでも凄さはわかりました。ガイドさん、ドライバーさんも1人参加の私を気にしてくださり、ツアーのメンバーにも恵まれました。
雨の中で自転車に乗って坂を下りましたが、とても面白い体験が出来ました。靴がびちょびちょになるので何か対策をすると良いかもしれません。レインコートは貸してもらえました。

We enjoyed lunch at a wonderful little mom and pop restaurant along the way - Sharky’s. Our private party of 8 visited waterfalls, overlooks, a black beach, learned history of the island and spent time at Volcano National Park. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!

ヘリ遊覧でみたもの
Reviewed by: 九州の山男, 2019/07/04地球の創造者しか知り得ない過去から2019.06.27の今日に至るまでの火山が織り成す壮大な歴史が見えた。キラウエアから生まれた新旧の溶岩流が作り出す重なり合った川、人の営み、道路、畑、すべてを呑み込んで流れた様子、なんという偉力。そして海に流れ込んだ溶岩流がこの島を広げていった様子が一望できる。自然の力の凄さが見える。そしてとったんに出来た黒砂海岸は神さまから人へのジョーク交じりのプレゼントか。次に小原山、時間は溶岩を緑豊かな木々を育む土へと変え、また浸食によって絶景を織り成す渓谷や400mから落ちる滝、これら身震いをしてしまう景色をヘリのゲストは味わった。最後に望月パイロットが語れたこの島の人達の火山との共存意識とその積極性は平凡な日常しか無い私の耳から生涯離れそうもない。それどころかこの人生初のヘリコプター遊覧は地球の営みを鳥の目線で目の当たりに出来た。少し大袈裟かもしれないが人生観を変えた。

Hilo Black Sand Beach Guided Snorkel Tour at Sea Turtle Lagoon
Snorkel and turtles everywhere!!!

At first, my wife was very claustrophobic and was having trouble snorkeling but Chad worked with her and was very patient and before long she was swimming like a guppy! We had a wonderful time and saw a bunch of turtles! I recommend this tour. It was better than what the cruise ship offered for less money. We would definitely go again.

ワイピオ渓谷、滝壺着陸
Reviewed by: わこばあー, 2019/05/24初ヘリコプター搭乗でいくらか緊張していましたが、日本語のパイロットの方のガイドでとてもリラックスして空の旅をたのしめました。
海上からワイピオ渓谷へ進んでいく時間は現実から神の世界への移動、自然に涙が出てきました。
興奮のまま滝壺に着陸、またまた涙があふれてきて大袈裟ですが生きてる！事への感謝の気持ちで一杯になりました。
ますますハワイ島のファンになりました。
友人にも生きている間に一度はこの経験を味って！と伝えたいとおもっています。
勿論子供孫は次回同行します。

ハワイ島が好きになりました！
Reviewed by: あおい, 2019/05/21当初、1日プランに申し込んでいましたが、最小催行数に満たなかったため、半日プランに変更して参加しました。
英語が苦手なので英語ガイドに不安はありましたが、実際には問題なし。
ガイドさんもドライバーさんもフレンドリーで、乗り方の説明は身振り手振りを含めてくれましたし、火山の説明もなんとなくわかりました。義務教育程度の英語スキルでも充分楽しめました。
全体的に下り坂が多いコースなので、そこまでツラいこともなく、自転車もギアを使えば上り坂でも大丈夫。上り坂で、みんなできゃあきゃあ言いながらペダルを踏めるくらいでした。
風、太陽、木々が作る日陰を感じる爽快感は、自転車ならでは！ハワイ島の自然を体で感じることができ、ハワイ島が大好きになりました。
日本も火山の多い国ですが、至る所で蒸気を出している光景を見るのは新鮮で、大地が生きているということを身近に感じられる体験でした。
火山活動により、行く時々で様子が変わりそうなので、ハワイ島に行ったら、ぜひまた参加したいです。

ハワイ島を上空から見てみよう！
Reviewed by: カレンのママさん, 2019/04/26ヘリに乗ってハワイ島を半周すると、「地球が生きていること」を目の当たりにすることができる貴重な経験ができます。
このコースをクルマでドライブすると8時間以上かかります。前回来た時にレンタカーで回りましたが、時間がかかり、真っ暗な中を運転するはめになり、次回は絶対、ヘリでと、決めていました。
ヘリであれば、たった2時間で、しかもクルマでは見られないハレアカラの火口を上空から見ることができ、クルマではいけない渓谷に着陸して、滝を独り占めすることもできます。
日本人パイロットのTOSHIさんが、丁寧に解説してくれるので、言葉の心配はありません。
ヘリ飛行の初体験をぜひハワイ島で！おススメします。

So great!

I so much wanted to see the results of the 2018 volcano eruption, as I had followed it on the internet daily (was a Geology minor in college). After the perfunctory Hilo sights, we were off to the east coast. Everything was amazing (including the newly formed beach, Pohike) and Lee never ran out of explanations and stories. Topped off the day with a fabulous late lunch in Paloha (an old "hippie " town) at Kehole's (again, at our request). Lee knew locals wherever we went and information was always shared.
Specifically, we were with Wild Orchid Tours, and Veltra was the agent.
Next time we'll go to Volcanoes Nat'l Park (and hopefully the museum will be reopened) - we were just too interested in the new stuff (and unfortunately, devastation).

高額なツアーだが、それだけの価値がある
Reviewed by: 英語が不得手な夫婦, 2019/04/10日本人パイロットをリクエスト出来るとのことだったが、ピックアップも含めて、搭乗までは全て英語で「英語が不得手な夫婦」としては、大いに戸惑いました。幸い、パイロットは日本人ベテランパイロットで、要所要所は日本語の案内があり、また、英語もゆっくり話してくれて助かりました。離陸後は、とにかく感動の連続で時の経つのを忘れるほどでした。キラウエア火山の活動が沈静化して、赤い溶岩が流れるのを見ることは出来ませんでしたが、それ以上に、ヘリのローター回転範囲と大して変わらない狭い場所にピンポイントで楽々と着陸するパイロットの腕に驚嘆しました。体験談とその画像だけでは語り尽くせない貴重な体験でした。気軽に体験出来る料金ではありませんが、経済的余裕があれば、是非トライしてみるべきツアーです。

Pilot and support staff were all very friendly and professional... A must do if you are on the Big Island or any other Island where they offer their services.
