Would use Blue Hawaiian if visiting again on another island

A great zipline course -- especially for young kids and first timers. Staff is organized, nice and safety focused. Terrain is tropical lush, with ziplines in close proximity to one another. We enjoyed it so much, we would have re-booked in next tour if it wasn't closing time!

It was an amazing experience to see the beautiful view of big island from above and observing the bubbling lava inside the crater of an active volcano together with a great crew before during and after the flight.

Great ride in all aspects! Weather was excellent for viewing, even up at the crater.

The pilot was very friendly, attentive and made sure we could get the best out of our tour.

It was a great experience with full explanation from the pilots along the way. We all did enjoy it. The only flip side was the video record from our helicopter which turned to be the old system on the disc and the quality was pretty bad, considering buying the better quality for the customers to buy later on. Not all of them have a good video camera.

The trip was amazing, we had the doors on flight to the volcano and the waterfalls. The pilot Joyce was very nice and informative. The flight was smooth, and we got awesome pictures!

Be ready for good music, family fun and good jokes...leave the Dad jokes back home!

We arrived at the appointed time for check in after making the 2 hour drive from the opposite side of the island. We were greeted nicely, had a short conversation, then found out the booking agent sent the email with the requested date/time, but the booking agent actually booked us for the following day.

After a few minutes, the tour company resolved the oversight by calling in the standby pilot, upgraded us to the bigger helicopter (to fly with only us), and would provide us with a free copy of the flight video. The only issue was it would be an hour later than our scheduled time. This gave us time to eat lunch at the airport before our new check in time, so no worries.

The flight was fun, great photo opportunities of the volcano areas/lava tubes, and very interesting facts from the seasoned pilot. I would use this company again despite the scheduling error.

I was scared for my life, but it was amazing!!! Our pilot Eli was awesome!!! Highly recommend it!!!

The views of the volcanoes were amazing! I was a bit disappointed in the waterfalls though. We didn't get as close as it appears in the pictures!

Seeing the lava in the cauldron coupled with the lava flow hitting the water and the massive lava fields was amazing. Throw in the waterfalls and it was an unforgettable experience.

MY 12 YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND I WENT ON A DOORS OFF VOCANO TOUR WITH ROBERT AS OUR PILOT. AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE, TOTALLY UNIQUE AND WORTH EVERY SINGLE CENT OF THE COS, FROM CHECK IN TO DEPARTURE. SOMETHING THAT BOTH OD US WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER. THANKS FOR A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

Went with my wife and sister, it's easy to find and has parking available. The staff is friendly and helpful. The zipline course itself is through beautiful landscapes and a small valley with a river at the bottom. Overall if you have ziplined before in treetops this course won't be as exciting for you. I would still recommend for the views and to those who haven't done ziplining before.

Great tour of volcanoes and waterfalls, definitely would recommend. Pilot Paul was a great guide and wonderful with the kids.

It was a very fun way to see the volcano. The pilot made sure everyone could see everything available.

I brought my daughter and granddaughter to visit my parents who live in Hawaii. My parents had never done the helicopter tour and it exceeded our expectations. Our pilot was also a biologist and gave us lots of information about the island. The kids (teenagers) couldn't stop smiling. We had four generations in that helicopter and all of us loved the experience. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time. Our driver, Hugh, was great. He was very nice, friendly, informative and patient. We saw a lot of beautiful things and he watched the time for us. We were with a good group, too. He allowed the proper amount of time at each stop. Tha lunch that was included with our package was great. The view from our table was fantastic and so was the service. Hugh waited patiently with us for one of our passengers to find and retrieve her phone. It was a wonderful day and it exceeded our expectations. We were very happy we chose this tour and would highly recommend it.

I was worried about the weather, but by the time we took off, it was partly sunny and cloudy. The first orientation was in fast-paced English, which made it difficult to keep up, but I managed to understand the main points. We progressed along the coastline through clouds and occasionally fog. I was surprised and excited to see lava peeking through cracks in the rocks. From the crater, I could see the lava glowing red, and there was steam as well. The pilot made several turns to give us a better view. I understood the English fairly well. I’m not sure if it would have been better if the weather had been nice, but it seemed that the tour was canceled in the morning due to bad weather, so it was lucky for those of us who had reservations. It was a four-seater helicopter, but it was nice that there were only three of us from the family. Another helicopter had two couples, and it seemed a bit cramped. However, before boarding, there was a feeling of being strangers, but after we landed, we exchanged firm handshakes, which felt like a connection among those who shared the same experience.

お天気が心配でしたが、飛び立つ頃には晴れと曇り。最初のオリエンテ―ションは、早口の英語で、ついていくのが難しかったですが、要領だけは何とかわかりました。曇りと、時々霧？の中を海岸線に沿って進みました。ところどころに岩の割れ目から見える、溶岩にびっくりと興奮。火口からは溶岩が赤く燃えているのが分かり蒸気もあり、、良く見えるようにと、何度もパイロットが旋回してくれました。英語もまあまあわかりました。天気がよかったら、もっと良かったのかはわかりませんが、午前中は、天候が悪くツアー自体がキャンセルだったようなので、予約しているものにとっては、ラッキーでした。四人乗りのヘリでしたが、家族三人だけだったのも良かったです。もう一台は二組のカップルが乗っていたのですが、狭かったようです。でも乗り込む前は、他人のような雰囲気だったのに、降りてきたら硬い握手をしていたので、同じ体験したもの同士のつながりのようなものも感じました。

We travelled from Australia with our friends and took a helicopter tour of the volcano. The trip was amazing !! The pilot was informative and very knowledgeable. He had some great jokes and made us feel very safe. I would really recommend this trip to anyone.

The ride was amazing. Very smooth and some excellent views of lava. Joyce, my pilot was very informative. I highly recommend this! Door off was really worth it!

Low clouds, poor visability, the tours we have taken in Maui and Honolulu were much better there se szw more waterfalls and coast line

We had a total of 8 in our group, and did this tour on 5/9/17. The guides were very helpful and did a god job in making you feel comfortable on the lines especially for us first timers. The views were undescribable. Make sure to really just enjoy the ride and not fuss too much with your camera or phone because you will miss all the beautiful scenery. It can take away from the experience. You get to see a lot of banana trees and even try some right off the tree. It was by far one of the best things we did while visiting. A must do activity!

My wife and I had a great time doing our first ever zipline here at Akaka falls. The crew were very nice and ensured we were careful and had fun.

Pilot was an excellent "stick" and well informed. Catered to our ooohh and ahhhhs. One of best experiences ever.

Really great flight with amazing views of the volcano. Coleen was a superb pilot and great guide. We got some terrific views of the caldera and where the flow meets the sea. Well worth the money- a once in a lifetime experience.

Even with a rainy day it was amazing! The last Zip is definitely the best. Great guides
