Thank you for the best hour. When I received the contact for the helicopter arrangement the day before, I was pedaling hard on my bike to get to Ocean Entry and didn't notice it. I confirmed via email and was able to secure a reservation for the much-anticipated doorless helicopter. On the day, the explanation was in English by a foreign pilot, and even though I didn't understand everything, I was able to see the flow of lava, the road I biked yesterday, and the sky above Ocean Entry. It was my first time riding in a helicopter, and I thought that riding in a doorless helicopter right next to me might not happen again unless I come back here. I appreciate this valuable experience. Please let me consult with you when planning my next options. Thank you.

前日にヘリの手配で連絡が来た時はオーシャンエントリーへ行くため一生懸命自転車をこいでいて気づきませんでした。メールにて確認も取れ念願のドアなしヘリでの予約も取れました。当日は外人パイロットでの英語説明でしたがわからないなりに聞き溶岩の流れ・昨日自転車をこいだ道・オーシャンエントリーの空の上から見る事ができました。ヘリに乗るのも初めてでしたが、すぐ横にあるドアのないヘリに乗るのも今後ここに来るほかは無いかと思いました。貴重な体験感謝です。次回オプションを計画する時には相談させてください。ありがとうございました。

My wife and I had a great time. The guides were great and knowledgeable about their state. We'd do it again if they had the superman harness.

For some reason, the bus route that is not very well known allows you to return to the airport from the terminal in Hilo for $2, along with your luggage. By the way, buses leave every 80 minutes. After checking in my suitcase and a brief emergency training, it was time to board. We were grouped into sets of seven based on our weight. I was excited by the sensation of lift-off, the low-altitude flight at the start, and the view of the airport from an angle that is rarely seen, while also listening to the explanations. I felt the earth's arteries from the lava flow that fell into the sea, producing tremendous steam, and experienced the exhilaration of seeing the crater from above, which I had viewed from the observation deck yesterday, as well as enjoying the beautiful waterfall... I had a very fulfilling time. That unique shaking might be a bit tough for those who are sensitive to it.

何故かあまり知られていない路線ＢＵＳ利用でヒロの町のターミナルから＄２で帰りの荷物共々空港へ。因みに80分毎にＢＵＳは出ています。で、そのトランクを預け簡単な緊急時研修の後いざ搭乗。体重を元に７名ずつのグループにされます。初めての浮揚感とスタート時の低空飛行と普段なかなか観られない側面からの空港の様子に興奮を抱きつつも解説に耳を傾ける。海に落ち凄まじい蒸気を上げる熔岩流に大地の動脈を感じ、昨日展望台から観た火口を上から見る高揚感、そして美しい滝を眺める…非常に充実した時を過ごすことが出来ました。あの独特の揺れはダメな人にはやや厳しいかも。

My husband and I loved the doors off heli ride over the Kilauea volcano lava flow! Would highly recommend it!

We are so happy we chose this helicopter tour. We got close for pictures and selfies and our pilot was entertaining!

We participated as a couple. It was just before a Japanese interpreter started working, but I heard they will be available here, so I think it will be fine for those who don't understand English if they request an interpreter. The participants ranged from children to adults. There were even families from the mainland U.S. participating together across three generations (from grandparents to grandchildren), so I believe people of all ages can enjoy it.

The first zip line was a bit scary because it was my first time and it was high, but after that, I had a lot of fun. I'm not very good with heights, but I managed. Due to the season, it had been rainy and chilly, making ocean activities impossible, but trying mountain activities during that time was very enjoyable.

ちょうど、日本人の通訳さんが働き始める前の体験中でした。これからこちらで働くそうなので、英語が分からない人でも通訳さんをお願いすれば大丈夫になると思います。
参加者は子供から大人までいろいろ。
アメリカ本土から親子3世代（おじいちゃん、おばあちゃんから孫まで）で、そろって参加していた方もいたので、年齢問わず楽しめると思います。
最初のジップが、初めてで慣れないうえに高さがあってちょっと怖かったですが、後は楽しめました。
私は高いところがそんなに得意ではないですが、大丈夫でした。
時期的に雨が降って肌寒い日が続いていて、海のレジャーは全然ダメだったのですが、そんなときの山のレジャーとしてやってみたら、とても楽しかったです。

We thought this would be a island tour. Yes we wanted to see the volcano that we wanted to see more too. We saw very little other than the volcano.

Hi - Had an informative pilot who took us over the craters - and were able to see the lava entering the sea - best way to see it! I've been told on the walk in you are not able to the lava very well and are not able to get close. An exciting thing to do for your holiday and great viewing to see it all from the air! Glad we did!

We were a group of three with 2 of us never before in a heli.
Thanks to a gr8 pilot we experienced an adventure we will never forget.
Spectacular views and the heat of streaming lava.
If you can afford it do it, we will come back that's for sure.

It was my first time so I was a little nervous. The guides helped ease my fear and I loved it. The 7 lines were just right for me. It started out short and easy and saved the longest and best for last. Would do it again. Well wort it.

The weather was favorable and it was a sunny day. The flow of the experience included: checking in for the helicopter, receiving guidance, finding the dress room, listening to the explanation from the staff in the room behind the reception, announcement of seat assignments by group, walking to the helipad, and putting on headphones and life vests. I would have liked to have a paper with a written flow and a map. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much. For those who might get motion sickness, it's better to take medication.

⇒グループごとに座席指定の発表⇒ヘリポートまで歩く⇒ヘットフォン・救命胴衣等の装着・・・と流れを書いたり、地図を記載したペーパーがほしかった。
すてきな経験でした。ありがとうございました。乗り物酔いしそうな人は薬対応された方がよいです。

Jake and Dustin were fantastic. They were knowledgeable and funny, made you feel safe. It rained the entire time but it didn't matter, this was the best part of our vacation. Mahalo!

It was a little foggy so we couldn't complete whole tour but were offered a refund which was very nice.

Relaxing, simple but enough to know about the island and the driver was very courteous, informative.

It was an incredibly exciting tour. It was my first time riding in a helicopter, and without a door, no less! The entire tour was in English, but I made sure not to miss the important security information, and with my heart racing, I got to sit right next to the pilot. Everything was perfectly necessary, and I was able to see the flowing lava, the rushing underground streams, and even enjoy a view of a rainbow from above after the rain. It was the best flight ever. I would love to ride again if I have the chance.

とにかくエキサイティングなツアーでした。
ヘリに乗ったのも初めて。しかも扉無しなんて(^^) 全て英語のツアーでしたが、大切なセキュリティのところだけは聞き逃さずに、ドキドキしながらもパイロットのすぐ隣に乗せてもらいました。
全てが必要必然ベストで、溶岩が流れる様も、また地中を勢いよく流れていく様も、また雨上がりに虹を上から眺めることもでき、最高のフライトでした。
また機会があれば乗りたいです。

I used this service a year and a half ago. Due to the impact of the volcanic eruption, the routes were restricted, and I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't see the volcanic crater. I would have liked to have been informed in advance about the restricted routes.
The helicopter tour itself was very enjoyable and memorable. The pilot, who spoke English, was friendly and made it a great experience.

１年半前に利用しました。火山の噴火の影響で、ルートが制限されており、火山の噴火口は見れず少々期待はずれでした。制限ルートがあることを事前に報告してほしかったです。
ヘリコプター遊覧自体は、とても楽しく記念になりました。パイロットの方も英語ですがフレンドリーにお話してくださり、よい思い出となりました。

It was a great day to go on the Helicopter, pilot was very knowledgeable. I would go again, you got great views of the lava flows.

Although the pictures and video that we took were amazingly beautiful and it is probably the best way to see the waterfalls on the island. There should be a disclaimer along with the advertisement of the tour for people with bad backs or next and probably awful younger children and senior citizens. The ride itself as horrible as far as comfortability . The water being so rough around the coast line added with no seat belts or cushioning on the aluminum boat itself made for a horrible ride. There was one point when I was actually in tears because of the pain and shock to my back from the intensity of being thrown back into the seat.

The BEST zipline on the island. Staff was wonderful. Ask for Kalo the tour guide. The last zip was worth every penny.

We took this trip on monday with our pilot Pete and it was totally awesome! We saw bubbling lava and were indeed able to 'feel the heat'! Pete tailored our tour to us and made us feel very welcome. Many thanks! Highly recommended!

I ended up with some great pictures. Wasn't sure if I was getting any because it was so windy. Not complaining as I knew that it was going to be windy. I did think that we were going to fly near the volcanoes, but perhaps I read the description wrong. It was a great tour and I am glad I did the doors off tour. Collin was great! Very professional pilot. Incredibly smooth ride without stunts or surprises. However, the doors off was wonderful with nothing between us and the lava. We were high enough to not be at risk but the views of the lava flows, vents, as well as the area waterfalls and scenery were superb. Securely strapped in. Noise dampening headphones with mics allows two way communication, and the pilot was a knowledgeable and helpful tour guide. Worth the time and money.

An unforgettable experience! Viewing flowing lava burning trees, the spots where the lava begins to flow, the breathtaking coastline of the Big Island with its many waterfalls, humpback whales from overhead, and the wonders of the island with the unbelievable views of every hue in the ocean's water= memories that will last a lifetime! Add a fabulous staff and the best pilot ever, and that's what you can expect.

The doors off tour was incredible and well worth the price! I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get a real helicopter volcano tour!

The 4 of us had a GREAT time - Nobody at home could believe I did the one over the falls! I am not real good with heights! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is the least bit adventurous!!
