It's cold due to the wind and water, so make sure to bring extra towels and warm clothing like a hoodie. The boat will sway in the rough northern waves until you reach the spot, which is fun like a roller coaster, but… I did feel a bit seasick.

There are a lot of sharks in front of the cage, so you can see them from above. From inside the cage… it's a bit underwhelming. You can see them if you try hard enough, but it might not be suitable for girls or children.

You get tossed around by the waves and the cage, so it’s cold and painful. I think it’s fun, though!

I heard that there is the longest zip line on Oahu, so I participated with my son, who loves zip lining. It seems to be quite popular, and we couldn't get a reservation for the time we initially requested, so we ended up joining the tour first thing in the morning.

When we left Waikiki in the morning, it wasn't raining, but by the time we arrived at our destination, it was pouring. We did the zip line in that downpour, which was more than just a natural shower, but I think in Japan, they would have canceled the activity due to the weather, so in a way, it was a good experience. I thought it would have been amazing if the weather had been nice. Also, according to our guide, it tends to rain a lot during this season, so I think having something like a mountain parka would provide peace of mind.

I had signed up for a clear kayak and snorkeling experience, but due to the possibility of rain, I was given the option to cancel at the last minute or switch to a regular kayak. Since I had already arranged a rental car from Waikiki to Haleiwa and everything was planned, I couldn't cancel. As a result, I ended up with just the regular kayak for two hours, which was quite boring. In the end, the weather improved on the day, and it didn't rain, plus the waves weren't high, but I still couldn't do the clear kayak and snorkeling.

Additionally, I received a text the day before asking me to look for a white truck, and since the company operated with just one truck, there was no office building at the meeting point. The way it was described during the booking made it seem like there would be a building, which caused quite a bit of confusion. I was told that if I came in the summer, I could do the clear kayak and snorkeling, but I wanted to combine it with the Honolulu Marathon, so I came in the winter. If it says that clear kayaking and snorkeling are available, I really hoped they would do their best to provide those activities.

My friends and I had a great time during this luau! There were a lot of activities to learn traditional manners of cooking, delicious food to eat, and an outstanding show with dance from all the Polynesian islands. I would truly recommend this experience to everyone! Everyone that worked there was very personable as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to actually explore the valley but I heard great things about that. I would definitely leave time before to go to the waterfall.

I feel like our time staying in the North Shore would've felt incomplete if not for getting to explore it with Aina, our personal local! We saw gorgeous places we likely never would've seen on our own, learned a surprising amount about O'ahu's history and culture in a casual way, got more familiar with the town and even returned to places on our own, enjoyed greeting Aina's friends and family along the way, got some great recommendations on where to eat, and that's just off the top of my head! Including photo sessions, it was about 2 hours of continuous buggy riding. I think it's quite rare to have such a long experience.

The feeling of refreshment and being in nature is the best.

Women and girls can also join, but a word of caution: it gets very dusty. Your shoes will get dirty with dry reddish-brown soil.

If you plan to go shopping or to a nice restaurant right after this experience, be prepared. My black hair turned brown and tangled, my black T-shirt became reddish-brown, and my face was brown too. While riding the buggy, laughing and talking made my teeth brown as well. But it was so much fun; my son and I, along with other foreigners experiencing it, were all laughing and taking pictures.

It's better not to wear nice clothes or sneakers.

Women should be careful as makeup will definitely get ruined.

If it rains, it will get even worse. This is an activity suited for men who don't mind getting dirty.

Also, you need a rental car to get to the location. It's right next to Haleiwa, so it can be a bit unsettling at first due to the lack of landmarks, but it's in a simple location.

I want to go back to this place the next time I visit Hawaii.

でもそれが楽しく、私も息子も、同時に体験してる外人も皆、大笑いして写真に残していました。

良い服装や、スニーカーなどは着て行かないほうがいいです。

女性はお化粧が確実にダメになりますのでご注意。

スコールきたらもっとひどくなります。
汚れを気にしない男性向きのアクティビティです。

あとレンタカーなどでないと現地にはいけないです。
ハレイワのすぐ横ですので目印がないのが最初は不安になりますが、単純な場所にあります。

次回ハワイ行く際も行きたい場所です。

I couldn't find the sign listed on the website, but there was a similar sign for "Hawaii Polo Oceanfront Trail Rides" nearby. When I went inside to ask, they confirmed that this was the right place. It might be better to aim for this name from the start.

I had heard from reviews that there would be Japanese guidance available, but I couldn't find any, and all the explanations were in English. I was quite anxious since there were only foreign customers, but the operation was easy, and the staff were kind, so I was able to ride without any worries.

We walked through the pine forest right next to the coast, and occasionally, we got to walk on the beach, making for a fantastic location throughout the experience. They also take photos when you reach the beach.

I think this is an activity that you absolutely must experience when you come to Hawaii. I highly recommend it! (However, I think it may not be suitable for those who are experienced riders and want to run or perform advanced maneuvers, as it is a slow-paced ride.)

あと口コミで日本語の案内が置いてあると聞いていましたがどこにも無く、説明も全てオールイングリッシュ、外国のお客さんばかりで不安でいっぱいでしたが、操作も簡単でスタッフの方も優しく、何も心配なく乗ることができました。
海岸すぐ横の松林を歩き、たまに広いビーチになるとビーチを歩く瞬間もあり、終始最高のロケーションの中楽しく過ごすことができました。
途中ビーチに出た時に写真も撮ってくれます。
ハワイに来たら絶対に体験した方がいいアクティビティだと思います。
本当にオススメです！！(但し乗馬に慣れていて自分で走らせたり上級の操作をしたい方には不向きだと思います…終始ゆっくりゆっくり歩くだけなので^^;)

The guys were great, there were a ton of sharks. Just wish they would have given a little bit of instruction as to the use of the snorkel. The staff was amazing. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped make our experience most enjoyable and memorable.
We saw more turtles than we could imagine! They were constantly sticking their heads above water as if they were greeting us.
The waters were calm and the kayaks and paddle boards were well maintained.
I highly recommend this activity with Sea and Board Sports Hawaii in Haleiwa. I give them a 10 out of 10.
