Nice to go
Reviewed by: Po An , 2013/09/24we joined the early morning tour. we were lucky that we saw turtle and dolphin. Because dolphins are too shy to stay closely with them, we just floated on the sea and looked down to watch dolphin pass by. Although swimming with dolphins is not exactly the way as we thought, we still had a great time to snorkel with many fish,turtles and of course Sunshine!!

overall great experience
Reviewed by: Joanne, 2013/08/24Great tour and only gave four stars instead of 5 because we didnt see any dolphins under the water when we got in, we only saw them from afar. Austin, our guide explained it was most likely due to the time of year when the young are born and the dolphins were being overprotective. The staff were fantastic and very helpful throughout the whole tour. Even though we didnt see the dolphins in the water, we were not disappointed as the experience of seeing them in their environment jumping out of the water was awesome in itself. The staff were very apologetic at the dolphins non compliance. It wasnt their fault though, you cant make the dolphins do things they dont want to do!I would highly recommend going

Was good but.....
Reviewed by: Mike, 2012/11/08It was my first time snorkeling and I was a little nervous yet excited. Our first site was really nice and the water was perfect. When we went off to see our second site where the dolphins hang out we were all disappointed to find that there were no dolphins. I really can't blame this on the crew. They did their best but to no avail. I suppose there is some risk involved that we may not see any dolphins since they are wild animals and it is a big ocean. But overall I had a nice time.

Nice trip but not great
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2012/08/31The crew were great, very helpful and entertaining. As far as seeing dolphins, yes we saw them, but as soon as we jumped in the water they swam away. The best view of the dolphins was from the boat. The additional snorkeling sites were just OK. Also, we froze once we came out of the water so I recommend getting the wet suit top at least. My wife did and she was comfortable.
I don't blame the crew for not getting to swim close to the dolphins, they did everything that they could to try to make it happen.

Reviewed by: James, 2011/03/20Great crew. Best fun to value available. These guys have this down to the details. Pros all the way around. You can go with the others if you want but I know the secret.
I went with my family. My wife and daughter were first time snorkelors and apprehensive at the least. Mindy did a great job working with them and getting them into the water.
The captain went out of his way to find fun. The photographer took the best open water photos I've seen. I have seen a few.
The food was generous and tasty.
Thanks guys, see you next time.

Dophin observation

The crew as great and did everything possible to make sure that everyone had the opportunity to "swim" with the spinnner dolphins and see other unique sea life while snorkeling. Don't go into this activity expecting the dolphins to swim right up to you. They are wild animals. Be content with seeing this wonderful creature in its natural habitat no matter how close they come to you. The two snorkeling sights that were great. Especially the turtle cleaning station. My best advice is to remember that you are being given the oppotunity to see these animals in their natural environment. Listen to the advice of the crew - this is a time for observation, a chance to see what the animals are like when they are not in a confined place. It is not the time to try and touch or chase these graceful creatures.

Beautiful snorkeling
Reviewed by: G. Akers, 2009/11/27Excursion was overall quite enjoyable. Was a bit disappointed that no turtles were seen, but this was due to weather/surf conditions and not under staff control. Crew worked hard to try to get all passengers in water with small pod of dolphins we encountered. As they were constantly moving, saw more of them from boat. They were amazing and a lot of fun to watch.
The highlight of the trip for me was feeding the fish while snorkeling. As soon as a few food pellets released, you'd be swarmed with beautiful tropical fish--quite the experience. (However, as there were so many passengers on the trip, you were also surrounded by other swimmers making it difficult to maneuver without getting hit, bumped, or kicked.) Majority of staff were very nice and worked hard to make guests comfortable. Photographer did a fantastic job.
Would definitely recommend the excursion, but be aware that conditions can affect what you experience, be prepared to be snorkeling in a good-sized group in op

Weather didn't cooperate

Nevertheless, my family had a good time, the food was very good, and the staff friendly & accomadating. The trampoline was pretty cool and my 7 year old enjoyed it. My older daughter did the snorkel tour and said it was ok.

Thoroughly enjoyed
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2008/10/07Wonderful fun to see the different animals, but do NOT make this your very first snorkeling experience on the island, nor your only experience looking at fish. Don't make it your first because it is a little intense (you have to jump off the back of the moving boat *into* the pod of dolphins) if you are not comfortable snorkeling. The time it takes to see the dolphins and turtles short-changes the fish experience a bit, but is absolutely worth it.

Amazing!
Reviewed by: Tracy, 2008/07/27We had such a great time! The staff was amazing. The captain was so funny & his staff really made you feel welcome and prepared. I was especially impressed that one of his staff members was multi-lingual and was able to explain what we were doing in both English & Japanese. It was so cool to see the dolphins jumping around the boat and just amzing to actually be floating above several doplphins in the open ocean.
The snorkleing was amazing too. I have never seen so many different types of fish & we even got to hang out & watch a huge turtle. At the end they give you a good deli style lunch and show off the slide show, which is for purchase,from the outing. This was an amazing excursion. I would recommend it to anyone going to HI, but I would suggest that people pratcice snorkleing before they go. The open ocean in choppy water is really no place for a 1st time snorkler. Other than that I would say this is an activity you should not miss!

Great Outdoor Adventure Spectacular
Reviewed by: Lisa Ann, 2007/11/13This is a Spectacular Outdoor Water Adventure for ANYONE who loves nature and God's Ocean Creations! Although we were the only English Speaking Tourist who booked the trip, the Captain was kind enough to explain what the tour guide was talking about to all the Japanese Tourist Guests and our First Mate was really fun!!! The only disappointment I am really not pleased about is the "photo's" that were sold to us and MIS-Represented as they were going to be FROM OUR TRIP were NOT ANY PICTURES OF US TAKEN UNDERWATER or on the BOAT. I paid $70.00 for 2 CD's (no pictures were provided you have to pay again to get them developed from CD) and then NOT ONE of them had US underwater. Would really LIKE TO GET OUR PICTURES and not ones from Someone elses paid tourism package from the past! This was kinda deceitful on the photographers part, and I hope she sees that anyone who thinks there getting THERE OWN PERSONAL PICTURES ONLY TO SEE STRANGERS IN PICTURES AND PAST ADVENTURES WAS NOT COOL AT!!! C

Fun Time
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2007/09/30My husband and I had previously snorkled which was a good thing as they had no time to teach you how to snorkle, therefore not for beginners. We did see spinner dolphins and swam with them for a few seconds. The dolphins did not stay put, so we were unable to hang out with them for very long. The remainder of the trip was great. We had the opportunity to have 3 drops in 3 different locations. One with the dolphins, then the remaining two with fish and sea turtles. Good times, good food, great photos! Bring a water camera! Would do this again.
