Enjoyed tour not Political Comments
Reviewed by: Mr. Anonymous, 2010/05/26My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed the actual activity even if it was shorter than adverstised. We booked the Deluxe Parasailing which is supposed to last from 8-10 minutes and it only lasted less than 6 minutes...That I can live with, what I truly find upseting is the fact that the tour guide decided to make several political comments about Arizona's illegal immigration laws, and the governement. Regardless of where you stand on certain political issues; individuals representing Xtreme Parasailing should keep in mind that they're providing a fun and hospitable environment for their customers, expressing your opinion on a hot button political issue can create disagreements and while debating is the foundation of democracy, parasailing is certainly the wrong place and the wrong time to do it. I can speak for about 3 additional individuals who shared similar comments once the ride was over.

Uncomfortable
Reviewed by: Tiffany, 2008/01/28This was the first activity we had planned on Oahu. The actual Parasailing time was wonderful!!! The time spent on the boat with the workers was horrible. To start they wanted us to pay them $15 to take pictures of us (even though the other people in our group were going to do it). When we declined their offer the crew made rude comments almost constantly during the boat ride. (Is he always this cheap? Must be they are saving their money for a sunny day!!! Not good Aloha.) The boat has writing all over it that, "Good karma starts with good tips" and "Tipping is WELCOME." There are $20bills taped all up the handrail as a "suggestion" on how much to tip. Don't forget the 3 times that the crew mentioned that we should not forget to tip them for their hard work! The time spent on the boat was very uncomfortable but parasailing was awesome. In the end I did tip them (only because I felt so uncomfortable) and I am still regretting it.

x-treme parasailing
Reviewed by: skeen, 2007/08/20Parasailing is fun. x-treme parasailing was not worth the added expense. We saw no difference in the duration of the ride. In fact other riders who did not pay for extreme were given equal and/or better experiences. (ie..same duration and being dunked, also boat pulling them). Honestly, we felt a bit cattled through the process. Would parasail again, but not the x-treme parasailing. Save the added money for something else!
