My total cost for this excursion was $242.30. It was not worth that price. The crew was sarcastic and snappy. They did lighten up as the morning went on, but my first impression stayed. Fortunately I’m a seasoned swimmer and snorkeling/snuba is easy, so I didn’t require any assistance. Lastly, it’s a big money grab without much service in return. I understand they are a business, but I cannot understand why they can’t pay their employees? Why do they guilt trip you into having to tip every chance they get? Even the emails leading up to it state the expected gratuity. TL:DR Molokini crater is amazing - you should go! Unless you’re dying to try snuba, then go with a different company and have fun.

I encountered whales three times while moving to different locations. It was very lucky!! However, even though I parked my car in the designated parking lot, I returned to find a no-parking ticket and a fine of $18!! Is this a targeted attack on rental cars? I wonder if others experienced the same. If so, they should explain in advance that there are fees for public parking.

My husband and I did the sunset cruise on my birthday during our trip to Maui and I highly recommend it. The staff were amazing and made sure all of the guests were well taken care of. The views were unbelievable. The food and drinks were abundant and tasty. We would definitely do it again if we make it back to Maui.

This was a hit for me. Accommodations (vehicle, drinks, food) were excellent. Tour guide knowledge was excellent. They didn’t beg/guilt trip for tips like every other guided tour in Hawaii which made me happy — this made me more inclined to tip nicely. Don’t hesitate to book this because the guided narration enriches the experience so much. If you’re an adventure seeker, there are two decent options to get wet — one black sand beach at the state park and one waterfall pool.

Yoshi was a fantastic tour guide. He’s been doing this for 20 years so he knows the perfect spot to watch the sunset and stargaze. His telescopes were amazing! I don’t want to spoil everything but will leave you with this…just do it, book it, you won’t regret it. An absolute must do!

Josh was an excellent tour guide for the half day 4x4 trekker!! Enjoyed the views as much as the stories!! Snorkeling was excellent!! Been told all you need is one day to see Lana’i but he changed our minds and we will definitely be back!!

Josh, our guide, picked us up right at Manele Bay Harbor. Got a quick tour of Lanai City and stopped for coffee, then headed to Shipwreck Beach. The drive there was almost as cool as the beach itself. Josh grew up on the island and had some amusing stories he shared as we drove. We continued on to the Garden of the Gods, it's totally other-worldly. We made a quick stop at the Cat Sanctuary, before catching the ferry back to Maalaea Harbor.

My family enjoyed our entire experience at Old Lahaina Luau. The service was exceptional. All the different courses of food introduced us to Hawaii. We enjoyed trying many of the different drink options over the course of the evening. The hula show was informative and captivating. A highlight of our trip!

Lovely location, fabulous food, super service, entertaining entertainment. We are glad we had premium seating. But, every seat is fantastic.

Yoshi was so enthusiastic & the tour was so well organised. The sunset was spectacular! But the stars & planets he showed us made our night esp Saturn & Jupiter - just WOW!

It was a fun and safe tour guided by DINDO. The bus had a comfortable number of people, which was nice.

I wished I could have stayed a little longer at Haleakalā. Those who lined up at the shop right when it opened at sunrise were able to buy items, but those who took their time to watch the sunrise couldn't make a purchase before departure time. I also wanted to visit the Haleakalā Observatory.

ハレアカラでの滞在がもう少し長く欲しかった、ショップでの買い物はサンライズ時のオープンと同時に並べた人は買えた、ゆっくり日の出を見てからでは買えないまま出発時間になった。もう一つ上のハレアカラ天文台へも行ってみたかった。

This is very first time for us to enjoy such beautiful sunset especially stargazing we have never seen before. I will strongly recommend Maui All Stars to my friends.

The tour was very informative and lots of scenery to take in. When they say to layer for the top of Haleakala, take the suggestion. It was very cold at just short of 10,000 feet when the sun starts going down. It was a beautiful end to the day. A definite must for your bucket list.

We gathered in the afternoon and made our way to the summit while taking breaks along the way. To avoid altitude sickness, we ascended slowly, and near the top, they flexibly adjusted our location based on the weather and the number of tourists. Although it was almost a full moon, we could see many stars, and the explanation using the telescope was very interesting. Next time, I would like to go during a different season, preferably close to a new moon.

You can borrow a jacket and gloves similar to ski wear, which provides considerable warmth, but it's also good to bring a down inner layer, a hat that covers your ears, and socks that don't expose your ankles. My husband wore down pants as well, so he was even more insulated from the cold.

午後集合．途中で休憩しながら頂上へ．高山病にならないよう，ゆっくりとあがってもらい，頂上付近では，天候や観光客の状況から，柔軟に場所を変えて対応してくれました．ほぼ満月に近い日程でしたが，星はたくさん見えましたし，天体望遠鏡での説明も，興味深かったです．今度は，違う季節で，かつ新月に近い時期に行ってみたいです．
スキーウェアのような上着と手袋をお借りできるので，かなりの防寒になりますが，ダウンのインナー，耳が隠れる帽子，足首が出ない靴下を持っていくとよいです．夫はダウンのパンツも履いたので，さらに寒さ知らずでした．

My wife and I had a great time and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, informative, and hilarious! Very fun!

It’s not a private tour. We had another couple with us. I sat in the front seat and my husband in the 3rd row. The other couple sat in the second row. The driver was awesome! Showed us around town and took us to the places to see. He was very accommodating to our stop requests. Very personable and talkative. Very knowledgeable of the history of Lana’i. Not a 4x4… just a suburban but lots of fun! I would recommend it for your day trip

Not worth the amount paid. Food and beverages were below average. Dancers performed well. Location of the stage was wonderful. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying the VIP premium seating.Story telling was so boring .

The boat was beautiful, crew helpful and friendly and the tour was breath taking. Couldn’t have asked for a better time! Food and drinks were great - we enjoyed the live music as well.

Lanai is amazing, our guide went above and beyond. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. The views are spectacular. I love the views from the Island of the Gods. I highly recommend the tour and I will definitely return to Lanai. This was my favorite adventure during my stay in Maui.

We were able to book day before, and it provided our family with a wonderful quick day of fun on Hana!!

It took forever to get our drinks. The food was awful. The entertainment was poor to say the least.

Josh was our guide and did an awesome job taking us around the island. We stopped at a coffee shop and got a delicious pastry and then proceed to tour the island. Josh was full of stories about growing up on the island which we all enjoyed hearing. We went to everything on the list and then went into the small town and ate lunch. It was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour. It was our favorite thing we did on the during our stay on Maui.
The only thing we would do differently is come back on the afternoon ferry instead of waiting for the 5:30 ferry. Again, it was a fantastic time!

Great crew. We were the only couple not affiliated with the Marriage celebration folks who filled up the rest of the seats/catamaran. Instead of the usual dinner of our last sunset cruise 2 years ago, the celebration had them do gourmet appetizers. The sponsor of the celebration greeted us and talked to us. The crew worked hard but happily caring for all on board.
We will be back in 2 years to enjoy the experience again.

Whether you like sunrise or sunset is personal, I do prefer sunsets: colors are more intense and after that the night comes with a zillion stars, a wondrous show magnified by the purity of the air.
Yoshi, the man from Maui All Stars, in charge of the tour is a courteous man and also a passionate astronomer. He does everything to make you feel comfortable: chairs, blankets, tea, cookies and a powerful Meade telescope that will bring you amazing views of moon and the stars.
What I want to point out is the importance of doing this with someone who loves what he's doing.

We had a fabulous time on this tour with Josh!! He was very knowledgable on the island, inhabitants, customs, shops, restaurants and used personal stories to make this experience enjoyable by all. I would definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Josh. On a side note, we were able to enjoy this experience. with another couple in which the husband worked the pineapple fields back in the 70's when he was 15 years old on a school reference. It was great seeing Lanai through his eyes and hearing about his time back in the day.

We were the only couple on the tour so it was great to get the personal attention! Even though our driver was new to the tour he was helpful and attentive!

My husband and I had such a wonderful time on this trip. The crew was wonderful, helpful, generous and informative. Snorkeling at Molokini is an experience everyone who snorkels should experience. The water is so clear you see every little crevice, coral, creatures and color of every fish is AMAZING!!!! Also returning to snorkel at turtle town and then breaking out the sails on the catamaran just added to an already unforgettable experience. Go on this trip and experience a very special Maui area. Share this with your family - It will be something special you did together forever.

Everyone should consider going on this trip. It's a lovely trip on a large boat with a crew and captain who really love what they do and love Maui and everything there is there. Maui is magical and having the opportunity to share it with people who truly care about it is such a fantastic experience. Do it!! You will not regret it :)
