I went directly to the meeting point by rental car. There is free parking next to the aquarium. Be careful as the parking near the dock is paid.

After checking in, you will line up for boarding. The earlier you line up, the better seats you can get. The popular choice is the outdoor seating on the second floor, but for those who are prone to seasickness or worried about sunburn from being outside for too long, I recommend the central seating on the first floor. You can easily grab food and drinks.

For breakfast, they served fruit, croissants, muffins, coffee, and passion fruit juice. It was delicious and not overly sweet.

After breakfast, there will be an explanation from the Japanese staff. They provide quite detailed information, so it's definitely worth listening to.

There are two snorkeling spots: one is Molokini Island, and the other is a rocky area near Maui Island. Both have high visibility and many fish. Each snorkeling session lasts for one hour, but honestly, it goes by in a flash. I recommend lining up at the front of the line as early as possible to go snorkeling sooner.

After the first spot, it's time for lunch. You can choose from cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and chicken burgers grilled on the boat, but I recommend the cheeseburger.

The second snorkeling session was near Maui Island, and again, the visibility was high with plenty of fish.

Finally, there was an all-you-can-drink option until just before the Maui craft beer arrived! Crispy cookies were also distributed, and they were delicious.

Overall, it was a very satisfying tour!

一箇所目が終わると、昼食になります。船上で焼いてくれるチーズバーガー、ホットドック、チキンバーガーから選べますが、チーズバーガーがお勧めです。
二箇所はもうマウイ島のそばまで戻ってきてからのシュノーケリングでしたが、透明度高く、魚が沢山いました。
最後はマウイの地ビールが到着する少し前まで、飲み放題‼︎サクサクのクッキーも配られました‼︎これがまた美味しかったです。
全てにおいて大満足のツアーでした‼︎

< From Pickup to Arrival >

I was unsure about what to wear for departure, but since the only place to change was the restroom on the boat, I decided to wear my swimsuit underneath from the start and just put on a cover-up over it.

Upon arriving at the location by bus, there is a check-in process. There are Japanese check-in forms available, so filling them out is no problem. This is when you can finally talk to the Japanese staff.

Before and after departure, explanations are primarily given in English, but there will be individual explanations from the Japanese staff later, so if you don't understand English, you can just listen without worrying.

You should not leave your luggage on the bus; bring everything onto the boat. Just a voucher, towel, and a change of clothes for after snorkeling are sufficient.

< Motion Sickness Prevention >
The boat has a structure divided into the first and second floors. The second floor has a nice breeze, but it also sways more. The first floor sways less, so if you're worried about motion sickness, I definitely recommend staying on the first floor. I usually get very seasick, so I thought the second floor would feel better, but I was mistaken and felt a bit nauseous. Later, the guide told me that the first floor sways less, and as soon as I went down there, I felt much better and recovered. Being near the door on the first floor also provides a nice breeze.

< Snorkeling >
Snorkeling gear, floatation devices, and fins are provided for free. However, the wetsuit was not mentioned at the time of booking, and you need to pay $10 per person on-site. Most people did not wear one, and I swam without it without any issues.

The sea is very clear, and you can see the coral on the seabed, which is beautiful. There are many fish, but they are not very colorful, with only about four types. This may vary depending on the location and season.

Snorkeling takes place at two spots, and at the second spot, you can also see sea turtles. In April 2018, there was less sunshine than usual, and it was quite cloudy, so the water temperature was pretty cold.

< Meals >
Once on the boat, we have a simple buffet with bread and fruit, which everyone takes for their meal on board. After snorkeling, we eat hamburgers, which are cooked on-site and quite tasty.

< Returning Home >
Take your time on the bus. I recommend changing on the boat to avoid getting wet while riding.

You won't have any problems even if you don't understand English. Even if you're not confident in swimming, there are four types of floatation devices available, so you should be fine. The sea is beautiful, and I think it will make for great memories, so I highly recommend it!

＜船酔い対策 ＞

１Fの方が揺れが少ないため、船酔いが心配な方は確実に１Fがいいとおもいます。私は普段からものすごく船酔いをするほうなため２Fのほうが気持ちいいと思い行きましたが、当てがはずれて少し気持ち悪くなりました。あとからガイドの方に教えてもらいましたが１Fの方が揺れが小さいらしく１Fに行くとすぐに楽になり復活しました。１Fもドア付近にいると風も吹いて気持ちがよいです。

＜シュノーケリング＞
シュノーケリング、浮き具、足ひれは無料で手渡されます。
ただウェットスーツは申し込み時は記載がなかったのですが、有料でその場で１人１０ドルの支払いが必要です。ただ半分以上の人は着用しておらず、私もなしで泳ぎましたが問題ないです。

肝心の海はとても透明度が高く、海底には珊瑚が見えてとてもきれいです。ただ魚はたくさんいるのですが、色とりどりではなく４種類程度でした。これはポイント、時期によって変わるのかもしれません。

シュノーケリングは２箇所で行われ、２箇所目ではウミガメをみることもできます。２０１８年４月は例年より日差しは出ておらず、曇りがちだったため水温はかなり冷たかったです。

＜食事＞
まず船に乗ると、簡単なビュッフェ形式でパンとフルーツを１人ずつとって船内で食事をとります。
シュノーケリング後は、ハンバーガーを食べます、ハンバーグはその場で焼いているため割とおいしかったです。

＜帰宅＞
バスに乗ってゆっくり。
濡れたまま乗らないように、船内で着替えておくことをお勧めいたします。


英語がわからなくてもまったく問題ないです。
泳ぎに自信がなくても、浮き具が４種類もあるため、まず問題ないです。
海もきれいなため、いい思い出になるとおもいますのでお勧めいたします！

I participated in my first helicopter tour in Maui. I was worried about the cloudy weather since the day before, but in the evening I received a call suggesting that it would be better to delay the start time due to the weather, which I agreed to. This was my first time watching a luau show, so I can't compare it to others, but I really enjoyed the cute dances and the fire dance. After checking in and being guided, we had a photo opportunity (available for purchase at the end for those interested). Once we were seated at our assigned table, drinks were brought to us, and we could enjoy the sunset by the beach while the kids had fun with face painting services. We also got to see the whole pig being roasted. After being seated, there was time to greet the people at the neighboring table, but since our family isn't very good at English, we could only manage to ask where they were from.

The dancers were relatively young, a mix of boys and girls, which gave a cute impression. At one point, kids and newlywed couples were called up to dance together, creating a homey atmosphere.

The meal was served buffet-style, and I tried a bit of everything, all of which was delicious. There wasn't really time for seconds, but the dessert corner had snacks like potatoes that paired well with drinks, so I was able to go back for those multiple times.

ダンサーは割と若い、男の子と女の子といった感じでした。なので可愛らしい印象です。途中で子供達や新婚カップルなどが呼ばれて前に出て一緒に踊る時間もあり、アットホームな印象でした。
食事はバイキング形式で、一通り食べましたが、どれも美味しかったです。食事はおかわりをする時間がありませんでしたが、デザートのコーナーにはポテトなどのお酒のおつまみもあるので、それは何回も取りに行くことができました。

It's the best experience! The crew's service, the delicious food, and above all, the beauty of the ocean...!!

The flow of the tour was as follows:

- Early morning pickup in front of the hotel
- Everyone gathered at the dock
(There were about 30 people in total. We were the only Japanese.)
- Breakfast buffet in the order of boarding
(There was plenty of bread, muffins, fruits, etc.)
- Snorkeling at Molokini Island
(The clarity was amazing... we saw various tropical fish, including angelfish.)
- Lunch
(We had burgers. The meat was grilled on the boat, and it smelled great. We could choose from about three types.)
- Snorkeling at a point called Turtle Town
(We were able to swim close to sea turtles. The beauty of the ocean here was also incredible... thanks to the sunlight, the seabed sparkled, and it was breathtakingly beautiful.)
- On the way back to the dock, we enjoyed beer (as much as you want; it's all-you-can-drink.)
- We were driven back to the pickup location and then dispersed.

☆ Advice
- Once on the boat, sit near the entrance indoors. The view from the second floor is beautiful, but it gets really hot.
- Organic sunscreen was provided on the boat, but it turns quite white when applied, so it might be better to bring your own to avoid looking like a clown.
- When there's sunlight, your back and calves can get burned! Make sure to apply and reapply sunscreen.
- Lunch can get quite crowded, so it's best to grab it early. Getting it early will also help with your condition for the next snorkeling session.

I wrote various pieces of advice, all of which I learned from KANA, the crew member who provided Japanese support. I really appreciated her help. I gave a tip to KANA personally when disembarking. She was bright, attentive, and a wonderful person.

We missed it, but it seems that whales could be seen even in April. There were also whale sharks. You can expect more fun than just snorkeling, so if you visit Maui, definitely participate!

☆アドバイス
・船に乗船したら屋内で出入口から近い席に座りましょう。船の2階も眺めはきれいですがめっちゃ焼けます。
・オーガニックの日焼け止めが船に用意されていましたが、塗ったらけっこう白くなるので、顔はバカ殿みたいにならないように、自前のものを塗って行った方が良いかもしれません。
・日差しがあると、背中やふくらはぎ等、体の裏側が焼けます！しっかり塗る＆塗り直し必須です。
・昼食はけっこう並ぶので、早めにゲットしちゃいましょう。早めに消化させちゃったほうが次のシュノーケリングへのコンディションとしても良いと思います。

色々アドバイス書きましたが、これ全部、日本語サポートしてくれたクルーのKANAさんから教えてもらったものです。本当にお世話になりました。下船する際にチップをKANAさん個人へお渡ししました。明るくてサポートもきめ細かくて、とってもすてきな方でした。

私たちは見逃しましたが、4月でもクジラが見えたみたいです。ジンベイザメもいたとのこと。単なるシュノーケリング以上の楽しさが期待できるので、マウイ島に行かれた際はぜひ参加してみてください。

I was concerned about the trip due to the rain in the morning, but I was relieved when the boat safely left the port. Unlike tours from certain companies, there were many international participants, which really enhanced the Hawaiian atmosphere. Due to the weather, we couldn't go to Molokini Island, but we snorkeled at Coral Garden and another location, where the underwater scenery was beautiful, and I lost track of time playing with the fish. The breakfast, lunch, and open bar were all satisfactory, and combined with the staff's attentiveness, I had a great time (I was a bit anxious about using the restroom due to my age, but that was not an issue). This was my third tour with Veltra, following the sandbar and catamaran cruise on Oahu, and I have never been disappointed. I would like to book another tour with Veltra to get my revenge on Molokini Island next time.

朝からの雨で決行自体が気になりましたが、無事船は港を離れひと安心。某社のツアーとは違い、海外の方の参加が多くハワイ気分は盛り上がります。天候の関係でモロキニ島には行けず、コーラルガーデンと他１か所でのシュノーケリングとなりましたが、海の中もとても綺麗で思わず時間を忘れ魚と戯れました。朝食・昼食・オープンバーともに十分な内容で、スタッフの方々の気遣いと併せて、とても楽しむことができました（年齢的にトイレの利用が不安でしたが、その点も問題なしでした）。オアフ島でのサンドバー、カタマランクルーズに続いてのベルトラでのツアーとなりますが、今まで外れはなく、次もベルトラでモロキニ島のリベンジをしたいと思います。

Nice cruise

Was surprised that there are no tables to eat meal at. However, crew did a great job on the cruise and food was very good! Not much of a sunset because of clouds but we did see some whales so that was good! If it wasn’t for the quality of the food, I would have been disappointed. Everyone working on the shop was very accommodating and very friendly.

Our driver Scottie from Temptation Tours was the best I've ever seen. Kept us engaged the whole ride. Knew everything about the island, people, history. Knew all of the best places to stop, where all of the good and bad bathrooms were down to the minute. Told us when the drive by pic was coming up so that we knew to get our phones/camera ready. Stopped multiple times and took the best video and pics of not only us but something cool on the stop. The wraps at lunch were superb. The captain's chairs in the van were perfect. Flying back with Troy from Maui Air was just as incredible. He played cool music and the ride was smooth. Saw a bunch of the falls and even played a little "chase and ride along" a friend he spotted in an ultralight. Highly recommend this combo. We were back at the hotel by early afternoon! Veltra Tours made it so easy and kept us up to date via email during our trip.

I'm so happy we did this on our vacation. The experience was beautiful. The boat sailed right up to the sand to pick us up. The crew were all professional and friendly. They helped us on and off in the tricky surf conditions. Quite a few people got really wet so take that warning serious and dress appropriately.

The appetizers and drinks were delicious and top-notch. The sea was a little choppy so a few people in our party were sea sick, but I recommend half a dramamine.

We saw whales breaching in the distance as the sun set over the waves. Overall and amazing experience, would recommend 10/10.

It was a fantastic and impressive show that my husband, who visited Hawaii for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed! However, there were hardly any Japanese people on Maui, and my husband, who doesn't understand English, couldn't follow the explanations or guidance.

I also only understood a bit (just everyday conversation), so I was anxious about communication, but I was busy supporting my husband... haha.

Since it's an overseas trip, it's natural, but be aware that it won't be like Honolulu, where you see Japanese people everywhere.

On the other hand, everyone was really friendly, and the show was incredibly lively! I definitely want to go again!

Snorkeling in the beautiful, sunny sea was a lot of fun. I was able to see three turtles, and both breakfast and lunch were delicious. Our Japanese guide, KANA, was very kind and made it a wonderful memory.

When we said goodbye on the boat, I regretted not being able to give a tip afterward. If I have the chance to meet her again next time, I would definitely like to express my gratitude.

On the day of the trip, the wind was strong, so we couldn't go to Molokini Island. However, instead, we visited two other locations and were able to see turtles.

At the snorkeling spots, the waves were small despite the wind, so there were no issues. The staff members were very friendly, and there was no need to worry even for beginners. Meals were prepared for both breakfast and lunch, and for lunch, we made our own burgers by choosing our own toppings.

I would like to use their services again when I come to Maui.

The weather was cloudy, but since it wasn't raining, we set sail hoping for clearer skies. The waves were a bit high on the way to Molokini Island, and I thought there would be some swells when we arrived. My wife was a bit nervous since it was her first time snorkeling, and the swells seemed to heighten her fear.

As we returned to the boat to head to the next point, the ride was quite bumpy, and my wife got completely seasick. We were by the window inside the boat, but even with the window closed, seawater splashed in when the waves hit.

The next point had calmer waves, but we rested on the boat. I appreciate the Japanese tour guide for being attentive to even the smallest details. This will be one of our memories.

天気は曇りでしたが、雨は降っていなかったので、晴れることを期待して、出港、モロキニ島までの少し波が高いかなという程度、モロキニ島に着くとうねりが少しあると思っていましたが、妻は初めてのシュノーケリングだったので、少し緊張気味で、うねりが恐怖を高めたみたいです。
船に戻り次のポイントに向かいますが、かなりの揺れで妻は完全に酔ってしまいました。船内の窓際でしたが、窓が閉まっていても波がかぶると海水が入ってきてしまいます。
次のポイントは、波の穏やかなところでしたが、船で休んでいました。
日本の添乗員さんは、かなり細かいところまで気を使ってもらい感謝です。
これも思い出の一つとします。

The helicopter ride is exciting and fun. We saw the shoreline and lots of waterfalls. The Road to Hana can be long so going half-way is better. Our guide was terrific. He showed us all the important things along the way that we never would have seen if we did it on our own.

Nice hospitable crew both on ground and in air.

Our helicopter pilot Michael was so nice that he turned around to get a nice snap which we could be in the first flyby. We took our tour during March ( US mainland spring time ).

Great and memorable 1st experience of chopper ride. Since it rained that day we saw so many waterfalls.

Our tour was to fly to the other side of the island and then ride a tour mini van through the mountains/rainforests back to the helipad. Nice Tour guide Scott as he knew the whole island bit by bit of it which gave us many memorable nature spots along the ride. He was very helpful in clicking pics and explaining us about island, people and vegetation

We came to Maui for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. This was our third tour with Trilogy, but it was our first time on the sunset cruise. On the day of the reservation, we were informed that the pickup location changed from Ka'anapali Resort to Lahaina Harbor due to high waves, as boarding from the beach was deemed dangerous.

We departed a little later than scheduled, but we managed to secure good seats at the front, and drinks and snacks were served throughout the cruise. Unfortunately, there were many clouds, so we didn't get to see a beautiful sunset, but the strong winds allowed for some enjoyable cruising with the jib sail.

We were the only Japanese guests, and the cheerful and friendly atmosphere created by the Americans was a lot of fun. It became a wonderful memory.

トリロジーのツアーは3回目ですが、サンセットクルーズは、初めてでした。

We climbed the stairs between the sandy beach and the double-headed boat when the waves were calm, following the crew's signal. Depending on the timing, we got wet up to our thighs, and some people were excitedly shouting "Yay!" When we got on the boat, we sat on the deck and didn't go inside; the crew brought us drinks, egg sandwiches, and fruit. It seemed that this service was to prevent us from missing any whales while eating and drinking on board.

As we headed towards a whale that was slapping its fins in the distance, we unexpectedly got quite close to a breaching whale, but we only saw the last splash. After that, while praying for another breach and aiming my camera, it breached again. When we arrived at the pier, we signed in at a designated area (there were some materials in Japanese, see photo 1) and enjoyed a cup of coffee. Before boarding the Pride of Maui, we took a commemorative photo (you don't have to buy it for $20). After boarding, breakfast included strawberries, pineapple, bread, cake, and drinks (see photos 2 and 3). The strawberries were huge like Amaou, and the pineapple was sweet. On a tour I took a few years ago, there were only snorkel sets and fins, and I was quite scared in the deep waters of Molokini, so this time I brought a simple life jacket from Japan. On this tour, there were life jackets (see photo 7), of course, a long pole to use under the armpits (see photo 4), a wetsuit (see photo 5), and a belly wrap (see photo 6), so you could participate with just your body. There were also paid options for snuba (see photo 8) and rental underwater cameras (see photo 9).

Lunch consisted of hamburgers, with ketchup on the bread and vegetables on top, and you could choose from the grilled items at the stern of the boat (cheese on top of hamburgers, teriyaki chicken, and large sausages). They recommended the cheeseburger, but I had the chicken burger, which was quite tasty. Those who could still eat were allowed to line up again after everyone finished, and there were about 15 servings left over. If you don't line up for meals at the beginning, the waiting time can be long, but our Japanese guide, Sato-san, kindly took care of various needs for the Japanese guests. Although there were many foreigners on the tour, there was no need to worry; this tour is the best for Molokini. Before returning to the port, we were given a rice cracker. Sato-san (see photo 10) helped my wife when she was struggling while feeding fish in the water. I also received help from a foreign guy who was monitoring on a surfboard; without him, I would have been in double trouble. Since there are paid options, it's good to bring some money, and the only places to put your belongings are under your seat, which can get wet. I think it's better to bring a waterproof bag just in case. We were able to see turtles floating in the sea, and we got quite close to Molokini. However, you need to be careful as the current flows towards Molokini, which could lead to hitting the island or stepping on coral. I rated it as good because we didn't encounter any whales and there weren't small fish like in Hanauma Bay.

桟橋に着くとcheck inと書いてある場所で署名など（日本語で書いてある物もありました、写真１）して、コーヒーを一杯。船はプラウドオブマウイ号乗船前に記念写真（20$買わなくてよい）、乗船後朝食イチゴ・パイナップル・パン・ケーキ・飲み物（写真２・３）イチゴがアマオウみたいに大きくパイナップルは甘かった。数年前に行ったツアーではシュノーケルセットと足ひれしかなくて、かなり深いモロキニ島で怖かったので今回は日本から簡易のライフベストを持参しました。このツアーでは、ライフベスト（写真７）はもちろん脇の下に挟んで使う長い棒（写真４）、スエットスーツ（写真５）、お腹に巻いて使う（写真６）などがあり体一つで参加できました。有料でスヌーバ（写真８）、レンタル水中カメラ（写真９）もありました。昼食はハンバーガー、パンにケチャップなどをかけ、野菜類をのせ、最後には船尾で焼いている具（ハンバーグの上にチーズ、照り焼きチキン、大きいソーセージ）から選びます。おすすめはチーズバーガーだそうですが、私はチキンバーガーにして食べましたが結構おいしかった。まだ食べれる人は全員が終わった後にもう一度並んで作って食べてもよいそうでした、15人ぶんぐらい余ってました。食事は最初に並ばないと待ち時間ばかり長くてなど、日本人ガイドの佐藤さんが親切にいろいろ日本人の世話をしてくれます。外人さんが多いツアーですが何の心配もいりません、モロキニ島ならこのツアーがベストです。港に戻る前に煎餅一枚でました。日本人ガイドの佐藤さん（写真１０）には妻が海の中で餌ずけをして苦しそうにしていた時にも助けていただきました。他にもサーフボードに乗って監視してくれていた外人のお兄さんにも助けてもらいました、私一人では二重遭難になるとこでした。有料のものもあるのでお金を持っていくのと、荷物を置く場所は座るとこか、座る下しかないので濡れます。濡れても大丈夫なビニール袋などを持参したほうがいいと思います。カメは海に浮かんでいるのが見れました、モロキニ島にかなり近くまで寄ってもらえます、海の流れがモロキニ島へ向かって流れているので注意しないと島にぶつかったりサンゴを踏んでしまいます。クジラに出会えなかったのとハナウマ湾みたいに小さな魚がいなかったので、評価をよかったにしました。
