Maui
This was an incredibly fun experience. What a great way to see the island. The first half was kayaking and snorkeling which was so fun—Jeremiah (Miah) was a knowledgeable and patient instructor. The second half was lunch and then a water fall hike with Nick from HikeMaui—Nick was a kind and intelligent guide and taught us so much about Maui. We also toured a farm and learned a lot about fruits and botany grown in Hawaii. 10/10 experience.

The ferry is clean, staff is friendly & helpful, ride is comfortable and you have a choice to be in air conditioning or open air.
We chose open air and had quite a show of whale activity.

The ferry was great! I saw my very first whale during the ride to Lanai! The whale put on quite a show. The ferry was a smooth tode & we enjoyed it!
We participated as a family of three. Since it was Christmas Eve, the summit was very crowded, and we couldn't see the sunset from the top, but they still took us to the best position without rushing. The stargazing was done in a less crowded spot, and I was shown the best starry sky of my life. I was so moved that words can't express it. A huge thank you to our tour guide, Yama-chan. By the way, we initially thought about going by rental car, but joining the tour was definitely the right choice. The unfamiliar mountain roads in the dark were dangerous, and thanks to the slow ascent to the summit, we didn't have to worry about altitude sickness. 因みに、はじめはレンタカーで自分たちで行こうと思っていたのですが、ツアーに参加して大正解でした。暗い中慣れない山道は危なかったですし、ゆっくり山頂まで行ってくれたお陰で高山病等の心配もありませんでした。防寒も配慮してくれて、星空を観られるようでしたら、このツアーはめちゃくちゃお勧めです。

Great experience! Steve was extremely knowledgeable and told us all about Lanai’s history. He took his time and made sure we got the best from our tour. We wanted to see the turtles and he found them for us and gave us time to explore. He is the best and I highly recommend him as a tour guide if you want to explore Lanai.

It was fully booked, and we were with a group of people not only from Japan but also from other countries. There was a guide who spoke both Japanese and English. Yamapi-san paid attention to even the smallest details. When we stopped by the supermarket to buy dinner, he provided detailed advice and assistance. He mentioned that he comes to Haleakalā five times a week, so I felt he was a veteran guide who knows this area very well. His photography skills are also professional level.

Our tour guide, Steve, was right on time, friendly, super knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about his island home. We were able to see everything of interest on Lanai (except the resorts, which are not open to sight-seers). If you are on a one-day trip to Lanai, this is the way to go.
Arrive at the port and check in at least 15 minutes before departure. The departure was on time. The weather was clear, but we only saw about ten whales from a distance. When I participated previously, we encountered several whales up close, saw them dive, and even ran alongside a pod of dolphins, so this experience was quite modest in comparison. It was disappointing that the captain kept talking not only about the whales but also engaging in small talk like a monologue, showing zero enthusiasm for actively searching for whale spots. (The previous captain was proactive, using experience and intuition to find the best spots and move quickly.) Whether you can see the whales well really depends on the captain. (You can't choose, though...)

It was a great full day with my family. Captain Raquel and her team were amazing! Saw lots of whales in the morning with Haleakala in the background. Dolphins joined us on the ride back too! The entire team was fun and interacted w/ all of us. We can't recommend it enough!
We had an excellent time.. We were looking for a casual fun experience for Christmas evening and this trip delivered. This is my 6th time in Maui and have participated on many excursions and this is on the top of my list. Crew was fabulous and attentive. Captain was experienced and knowledgeable. The experience was good. We saw both whales and dolphins. The unfortunate thing was that they overbooked the boat and there wasn’t seats available for everyone on deck. Being forced to sit in the crew area below and not hear the captain’s commentary had a way of making you feel unwelcome. However, we did get to do the activities and saw wonderful marine life.
Guide "Jelly" took the two of us on a customized tour giving us lots of history of the island and also information about local activities due to his years on Lana'i. Exceptional value and great fun.
Our family went on the early morning Whale Watching tour. It was worth getting up early to go! Our captain was very knowledgeable about the tour and surrounding islands. He took us a little farther out so we were able to see 3 whales! It was 2 males chasing down a female and she was leading them out on a chase! I would definitely recommend this cruise!
Nice well maintained boat. Premium open bar is false advertising. There are NO premium drinks or top shelf alcohol just so you know. The food was tasty. Overall a nice time.

The captain was interesting, had a lot of experience, laughed at the dumb joke I made about no more 3 hour tours - Gilligan Island joke - and went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome.
The food was good, hot when served, and you were not made to feel rushed.
The guy singing was great. Had a wide variety of standard songs that fit the age group he was dealing with - yes there were a lot of us old folks on the trip - and he made sure to recognize all the birthdays and anniversaries - 4 couples married 50 years or more - and played their song.
The departure was just as nice and overall a great time.
I signed up for this tour in Maui hoping for a valuable experience. The hotel pickup made the two-hour drive enjoyable thanks to Yamapi's fun talk. Along the way, we were able to buy delicious local food and enjoyed dinner at the summit.
At the summit, the magnificent crater, 360-degree views, and the sunset sinking into the sea of clouds were enchanting, allowing me to forget my everyday worries. The starry sky after sunset was also amazing; I could quietly gaze at the Milky Way and other stars, bringing back precious memories from my childhood. I'm grateful to Yamapi for showing us famous star clusters and planets through the GPS telescope.
It's definitely a must-see tour!

ホテル送迎で、片道2時間のドライブも山ピーさんの楽しいトークで楽しく過ごせました。途中おいしいローカルフードも買えて、山頂での夕食を堪能しました。
山頂では壮大なクレーター、360度の眺望、雲海に沈む夕日が幻想的で、日頃の些細な悩みなど吹っ飛ぶ経験が出来ました。落日後の星空がまた最高で、天の川その他もろもろの星たちを静かに眺めることができ、遠い子供のころ観た記憶も蘇る貴重な体験でした。山ピーさんが、GPS天体望遠鏡で次々と有名な恒星群や惑星を見せてくれたことにも感謝です。

With this being our first snorkel tour, I wasn't sure what to expect. I can tell you that it was just as much about the people running the tour as it was about the tour itself. Everyone was dedicated to making our experience a memory to last a lifetime. The boat was great, the food was awesome, the drinks were a nice touch and the snorkeling was exactly what we were hoping for. Thanks again for making this an awesome memory.
I am so glad we booked with this company! Many staff members were verified life guards and had degrees I. Marine biology. Safety and fun was their first priority. They didn’t skimp on lunch- allowed 2nds and thirds so you definitely weren’t left hungry! We were a little bummed that we didn’t actually get to see any whales, only 1 turtle, and not a ton of fish, but they can’t help nature.
