Our family returned from Maui less than a week ago. We squeezed in a lot of outings and adventures in our time there, but the 7 of us all agreed the snorkel trip was by far the highlight of our vacation! We have been on a few other snorkel excursions over the years, but the Dolphin Watch & Snorkel BBQ Lunch Cruise far exceeded our expectations. We were very fortunate that there were only a couple dozen people on the boat so it was quite personable. We were greeted warmly with a light breakfast of fruit and pastries. Weather wise, we could not have picked a better day!
We had anticipated to see some whales, but WOW is all I can say! Capt Lily was genuinely as excited to see the things we saw even though I'm sure she's seen them all dozens of times before. She was very knowledgeable and stopped often, positioning us for the best viewing as the whales were so active. We also saw spinner dolphins which was exciting. We boated out to Lanai and had the opportunity to snorkel in two different places. At our first stop the kids saw numerous fish and were lucky enough to see a sea turtle! Our second stop was at Sweetheart Rock where there were a ton of different fish. The boat had a slide that a few people took the opportunity to enjoy.
The staff was extremely friendly and professional and went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable. They had noodles and boogie boards for those that weren’t strong swimmers. There were always a minimum of two staff in the water with us, often more.
We were treated to a lunch BBQ’d right on board! We enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, fruit, chips and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages. One of our kids is a vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate her with a veggie burger without prior warning.
The total excursion was 6.5 hours and flew by! Everyone enjoyed every minute of it and we will all have great memories for years to come! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our day truly memorable!

Excellent tour with very friendly & informative guide (Bob). Wish we would have seen more of upcountry Maui, but other than that was great! Fabulous views, comfortable bus, great experience. Would recommend to anyone, so nice not to have to drive that windy road, could enjoy the ride in comfort and safety!

We saw whales immediately. Whales were everywhere. Beyond my expectations.

This was by FAR our best experience on Maui. We booked last minute and Skyline Eco accommodated us. The employees are extremely welcoming and warm. I noticed many older people felt a bit uncomfortable jumping from the zipline and Anthony really helped calm them. I felt like I was in great company too! We really lucked out and got a great group as well. The guys also showed us some of the plants along the trail. I was so excited when they pointed out fresh guava fruit! We honestly had such a great experience and left with huge grins on our faces. If you have limited time and a limited budget, choose these guys. You won't be disappointed!

My experience at the Atlantis submarine was splendid. Unbelievable experience that I would definitely repeat again amd again. Till this moment I think the trip was a dream to me. I think it was a dream, it wasn't real J.
unfortunately, Saudi Arabia is far far away from Maui and repeating the fantastic experience is somehow not easy. I strongly recommend people of all ages, all backgrounds to try the submarine. I posted all photos on my instagram and followes are so surprized that they think it was unreal !!!

When it comes to this season on Maui, it's all about whale watching. This time, I participated in an early morning plan that gathered at Lahaina Harbor at 7:00 AM. Since the tour was guided only in English, all the other passengers were foreigners except for us.

Although I couldn't fully catch what the guide was explaining due to my limited listening skills, the sunrise view from the boat was incredibly beautiful. We were able to see whales jumping here and there, and I had a refreshing and fulfilling time.

Waking up early is worth it. This early morning plan is also reasonably priced, so I personally highly recommend it! I definitely want to join this tour again when I visit Maui.

*When I arrived right on time at the Lahaina Cruise Company booth, there was already a large crowd. It's an easy place to find without any confusion.
*On the cruise ship, coffee and light snacks are also available for sale, so you can feel at ease even if you're hungry.

マウイ島のこの季節といえば、ホエールウォッチング。
今回、朝7:00にラハイナハーバー集合という早朝プランに参加しました。
この時間帯のツアーは英語のみのガイドという事で、乗客は私たち以外全て外国の方でした。

ガイドさんの解説は、私にリスニング力がなくきちんと聞き取れてはいませんでしたが…
それでも、船上から眺める事のできる日の出はとても美しく、
クジラのジャンプもあちらこちらで見る事ができ、爽快で充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。

早起きは三文の得。この早朝プランはお値段もリーズナブルなので、個人的にはとてもお勧めです！
またマウイ島に行く際には、是非参加したいツアーです。

※集合時間丁度に到着したラハイナクルーズカンパニーブースは、既に多くの人だかりでした。迷う事無く探しやすい場所です。
※クルーズ船内では、コーヒーや軽食も販売されていて、お腹が空いていても安心です。

The waters around Maui were calm because they are surrounded by islands. There were whales everywhere, and I was wondering which one to see up close. The schedule was perfectly on time. The course we chose departed at noon, but since we had to spend a lot of time outside the boat while watching the whales, the sunlight was quite strong, so I recommend a course that finishes in the morning. It seems that more whales will be coming in mid-February. Our Japanese guide, Taka, was very kind and taught us many things. Thank you very much.

マウイ島の海は、島々に囲まれているため海が穏やかでした。
いたるところにクジラがいて、どのクジラを近くで見ようかな？といった具合でした。
スケジュール進行もばっちり時間通りでした。
私たちの選んだコースは１２時発だったのですが、クジラを見る際、どうしても船の外にいる時間が長く日差しがきつかったので、午前に終われるコースがお勧めです。
これから２月中旬にかけて、もっとクジラがやってくるみたいです。
日本人ガイドのタカさんは、とても親切で色々な事を教えていただけました。

As soon as we set sail, we encountered several whales near the city, and we ventured quite far, making for a fulfilling two hours. Thanks to choosing the early morning plan, not only was the price affordable, but we also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise, and the boat was not crowded, allowing us to move around to see the whales in different directions. Additionally, we were able to easily park at the Public Parking near the dock.

　出航してすぐ、街の近くでも複数のクジラに会えましたが、結構遠くまで足を延ばしてくれ、充実した２時間でした。
　早朝プランにしたおかげで、料金が安いだけでなく、綺麗な日の出も楽しめ、船内が空いているのでクジラの出る方向に合わせて前後左右へ移動できたのも良かったです。また、船着き場近くのPublic Parkingにも簡単に停められました。
　

It was not the boat we paid for, food was average, tables were small and crowded, music was distortion,

I participated in a tour at the beginning of December. At the time, I didn't know that the whale watching season runs from December to May, so I was really worried whether we would actually see any since it had just turned December. As expected, no whales appeared no matter how long we waited. The guide also mentioned that we might not see any, but in the end, a mother and baby whale showed up. Ultimately, it turned out to be a satisfying tour.

１２月の初めのツアーに参加しました。参加した時は知らなっ方のですが、ホエールウオッチングの季節は１２月から５月ということで、まだ１２月になったばかりで本当に見えるのか心配でした。案の定待っても待っても現れません。はんば諦めガイドの方も見れないかも知れないと言っていたのですが最後に親子のクジラが現れました。最終的には満足のいくツアーになりました。

We were blessed with good weather, and it was a fun tour that we could participate in with peace of mind. I was surprised by the phone call the day before regarding the change in tour time (all in English), but I managed to understand and get through it. On the day of the tour, it was great that a Japanese staff member was on board to provide detailed advice.

好天にも恵まれ、安心して参加できるツアーで、楽しい時間でした。
前日にツアー時間変更の電話連絡（全て英語）には驚きましたが、なんとか理解して乗り切りましたが。
当日は、日本人スタッフも乗船いただき細かなアドバイスもあり良かったです。

When I first went to the ticket booth, I was told that there was only a different time available. When I went back at that time, I received a coupon that could be used inside for free, which I exchanged for tickets and potato chips on the boat. Once I saw a whale, I started to see them one after another, which was thrilling. However, the most disappointing part was that, although I suddenly encountered a scene where the whale jumped vertically, everyone was starting to get bored and I didn't have my camera ready. I realized the importance of always being prepared with my camera and not giving up on capturing moments.

最初にチケット売り場へ行くと、違う時間しかないとのことで、再度その時間に行ったところ、中で使えるクーポンをタダでもらえ船の中でチケットとポテトチップスなどと交換できた。クジラは、１度みえると次々と見え出し感動したが、もっとも残念だったのは、よく写真にあるような垂直に飛び上がる場面が突然出くわしたものの、みんなそろそろ飽きてきたころなので、カメラを構えていなかったことです。なにごともあきらめずカメラをずっと構えている心がけが必要と痛感しました。

I might have had too high expectations for the mystery of the ocean, but the underwater visibility was low, making it difficult to see the fish and coral.

海の中は神秘的と期待しすぎていたからかもしれないが、海中は、透明度が低く、魚やサンゴがみえにくかった。

This was my first zipline experience and a second for my wife. We had sign up for 8 zipline package. They started us with relatively short distance and not so fast zipline. With every line, distance and speed kept increasing. Every line offered views of both mountains and ocean. Both of our guides Johnny and Loki were great when it came to making it a safe and fun experience. Drive up to the of the hill was pretty bumpy but fun due to stories of Uncle George. They provided us with reusable water bottle and start and pretty awesome snacks in the middle. Overall it was a pretty fun activity. I do recommend it for first timers, May not be extreme enough for repeaters.

Great food, entertaining dancers. A fantastic cultural experience.

It was our first time ziplining and we totally enjoyed the entire experience.
We were picked up by a van at the checkin point ant driven up the mountain. The trip is a bit rough since the road were unpaved. We stopped at a station in between to get geared up, and then the fun started.
Our tour guides were AWESOME. They were so funny and knowledgeable, making the entire trip so entertaining. I was a bit nervous at the beginning. But after the first line, I can't wait to go again.
The view was great from the mountain too. Definitely a wonderful experience worths every penny, highly recommended.

Well, what can I say?
This was a good activity that I am glad I did. But I won't say that I would do it twice. I don't think I would do any zipline twice, unless it's been a very long time.

The stuff was extremely nice to us. They were extremely careful, letting us know about all the risks and how to avoid them. They were catching every single person in the end of each zipline so that no one got hurt. Also, they were telling us stories about hawaiian culture and hawaiian island after each zipline.
Stuff had a great sense of humor as well. Lots of appropriate jokes were made :)

Last, but not least, Everything was organized in a timely manner as well.

My husband and I had a lot of fun. The guys were really amusing and very patient in trying to teach me to do the canon ball on the last zipline.
We were picked up at the Eco shop and shuttled to the actual Zipline "ranch". They provided all the items that we needed including the water bottle, which they let us take as a gift. They cracked jokes and did some really cool stunts on the the lines we could never get confidence enough to do. They tried to bring even my husband and I into the jokes even though we can take a bit to warm up. They provided breaks and and an amazing view to catch a breather. You even get snacks and a drink at the end when looking at your pictures they snap of you. Thank you Levi you were awesome
but you know that!

One thing you definitely have to do during your Maui visit is ziplining!
We booked the 8 Line Zip Tour which took all in all about 4 hours. At „half time“ there was organized a little break at an wonderful lookout where you had the chance to take some snacks and drinks.
It was our very first time we did ziplining and we really enjoyed it. Not only the adventure itself but also the wonderful view on Kaanapali coast is worth it. Don‘t worry about little fear of heights, because the guides will take it away with their joking manner. We were surprised positively that ziplining is popular with all age groups. The group we joined in was mixed up and we all had pretty much fun doing the Kaanapali Zipline Adventure. Therefore we would absolutely recommend it to everybody - no matter if you do it with friends, your family or as a couple.
The online-booking via Veltra was uncomplicated and the procedure on site was smoothly.
Thumbs up for the great organization and the whole ziplining team - you must not miss this adventure!

I participated in the early morning tour. Compared to my last visit in February, I was a bit worried that the number of whales visible from the hotel I stayed at was significantly lower, suggesting it might still be early in the season, but I was able to see plenty of whales without any issues.

This was my first time joining the early morning tour, and cruising while watching the beautiful sunrise was amazing! You can see the islands gradually becoming more vibrant as the light brightens. Since we return around 9:30, it allows for a productive day, and I highly recommend it.

早朝の回に参加しました。前回参加したとき（２月）に比べて、滞在していたホテルから見られるクジラの数がかなり少なかったので、まだ季節的に早かったかと少し心配していましたが、まったく問題なくたくさんのクジラを見ることができました。
今回初めて早朝の回に参加したのですが、美しい朝日を見ながらのクルージングは最高でした！島々が明るくなるにつれ、だんだんと濃い色になっていくのを見ることができます。帰港するのは9:30頃なので一日を有効に使うことが出来、とてもオススメです。

We had an ok time on this excursion. The upper deck was very crowded, and there wasn't a lot of room to move around. Dinner was just so-so. Seating is assigned, and someone sat in our seats, but we were moved to another table and made new friends! That was probably the best part of the evening.

The boat on this tour was quite old and needs attention to cleanliness and accomodations for serving of food left a little to be desired. The access to the water for snorkeling was not pleasant. The very steep ladder was unpleasant. The second stop for snorkeling I just jumped off the boat instead of trying to get down the steep stairs. The crew seemed to be short handed. They could have used one more crew member. Aside from the above, the staff really made our trip worthwhile. Snorkeling off the island of Lanai was very beautiful, the coral pristene, water calm and inviting. The second snorkel stop on the Maui side was not pleasant but it was not the fault of the crew. The weather front came in and made it almost impossible to snorkel with the strong current.

Enjoyed the submarine adventure very much. Staff was very helpful and professional. We took the submarine adventure because I love to snorkel but my husband doesn't snorkel. I wanted him to see what I see under water and the submarine adventure surely accomplished that.It was his very first time to be able to see this world under water.

Awesome experience! Everything was first class and the location was beautiful. Our guides, Matt and Cliff, were amazing and they were super funny, detailed, careful, and made us feel like VIP;s. Our whole group agreed that those two made the whole thing amazing! The views were breathtaking and the weather was perfect. First time ziplining and I would totally recommend it to anybody especially through Veltra. Veltra made booking easy and also had no problem when we wanted to change to a ziplining adventure that was closer to our resort. Matt and Cliff reassured us that our novice level experience would not hinder our perfect vacation and they were completely right. If there is one adventure that cannot go missed while being in Maui, it must be ziplining Kaanapali. Two thumbs way up and look forward to trying all of the other adventures offered by Veltra in the future.

We had a great time on this trip - the crew were friendly and informative, the snorkel locations (2) were varied with clear calm water and the scenery along the way spectacular.

Unfortunately on this trip, no dolphins. However, the added bonus was at least 6 humpback whales, with one curious juvenile circling the boat and the crew provided in-depth information about whale migration and habits which enhanced the viewing experience. Amazing!

Only detraction for me was that I felt more information could have been provided around the snorkel portion (e.g. type of fish, function of coral reefs) and the islands themselves would have really enhanced the experience.

Excursion was awesome. Staff was wonderful. Lots of great ziplining. Would definitely do this again.

It wasn't because of the tour that we couldn't see many whales... I think the tour itself was very smooth and good.

My wife and I we had a great time and experience , I think if some one wants to do snorkeling it is better try this one. You will sit down on a nice cool Semi Submarine, and will see under water and have nice fresh air on the board as well. Try it.
