I would like to share with you my wonderful experienced with Maui to Lanai Snorkel adventure. First of all the Captain Lily is very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Lily explained about our tour and made sure that our safety comes first. There were 2 other staffs, Robin and Cody, who helped served us Continental breakfast such as muffins, juices, healthy food bars and fresh fruits. Breakfast were enough and refreshing.
Our first stopped was at the coast of Lanai. It was our first snorkeling experienced. The water was a little rough and I was scared. Captain Lily made sure that Robin were there to helped us. We were able to see underwater corals and some fish. Robin and Cody were there to helped us and made sure everybody were having fun and feels safe.
Our next stopped was near The coast of Lahaina. The ocean was calmer and some passengers had fun snorkeling. We saw a few Turtles, that was really exciting. We did not see any Dolphin at this time, better luck next time. It was a very pleasant and relaxing day.
Captain Lily cooked some barbecue such as chicken fillets, hamburgers and hotdogs. Lunch were delicious, we made our sandwiches. There were macaroni and potato salads and condiments. They also served some alcoholic punch. We were very satisfied with the food and there were plenty of cold bottled water and sodas.
Captain Lily, Robin and Cody were very good in making our trips enjoyable and memorable.
My friends and I had an Amazing experienced. We took a lot of pictures and selfies. I would recommend this tour to all my friends.

I chose the early morning English tour because it was inexpensive. I didn't understand the explanations very well, but I could tell there were whales from everyone's reactions, so I think that's not a problem. However, it seems that April is already the end of the season, and we didn't see many whales doing the dynamic jumps like in the photos. But it was adorable to see a mother whale and her calf swimming together nearby. I want to go again during the peak season next time. They sell a set with a commemorative photo and a disc with whale images for about 2000 yen. I thought it would sell better if they offered just the commemorative photo at a lower price.

安かったので早朝の英語のツアーにしました。説明はあまりよく分からなかったけど、クジラがいるぞ！的なことは、皆の行動で分かるので問題ないかと思います。
ただ４月はもう終わりの時期みたいで、写真の様なダイナミックなジャンプは何頭ものクジラは見られませんでした。けどクジラの親子が近くをずっと一緒に泳いでいて可愛かったです。今度はシーズンの時に行きたいと思います。記念写真とクジラの画像やらが入ったロムとセットで2000円くらいで売られてます。記念写真だけにしてもっと安くすれば売れるのになー、と思いました。

I wasn't expecting much since the whale season was coming to an end, but I saw a lot of whales in the distance. They were splashing water and showing their tails.

In the middle of the trip, a whale passed right by the side of the boat, and I was surprised! It was a great experience that you can't have often in Japan.

クジラのシーズンも終わりに近かったのであまり期待していませんでしたが、遠くのほうでたくさんクジラが見えました。水しぶきをあげたり、尻尾がみえたり。

中ごろには、船の脇をクジラが通り、びっくりしました！
日本ではあまり出来ない体験ができて、とてもよかったです。

The boat was decent, the ride itself was lovely and very sunny. We did see whales despite it being the end of the season. However, our guide was not very knowledgeable when it came to the actual whales. Wikipedia could have done a better job informing us. Lots of "um, and stuff" and had no answers to people's questions. Maybe a brush up on information and some note cards would help?

What a great and entertaining show. We did the VIP package and would highly recommend. It was 98 degrees so a little overhead cover would have been nice for the early part of the show but it was dark soon so it did cool off. The food and drinks were great. The dancers/entertainers were top notch. It was nice that after the show you would mingle with the dancers and get pictures taken. Very pleased and would definitely recommend this luau to newcomers to the island

This snorkel cruise was such good fun and definitely worth it! The captain took us to the spots where he thought were the best and he took us to another spot when he was informed that the original place was no good, which is impressive to still give us the chance to snorkel. We were fortunate enough to see whales, dolphins and turtles along with the coral and fish. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They provided floatation devices for anyone who wanted one, and also a snorkel lesson for the first timers. There was a fun slide off the top deck into the water which was very cool! We would definitely recommend this activity to anyone (but make sure you have something for seasickness).

The Maui to Lanai Snorkel Trip was awesome and definitely value for money! The staff were all super friendly and helpful from the moment we got on board. The boat was lovely with table and chairs on top and a lovely deck around the outside. We really appreciated that the captain took us to another location when the seas were too rough to snorkel in the original place, and we still got in 2 locations to snorkel. The staff were very informative about snorkelling and there was options to take floatation devices out on the water with you, good for first time snorkelers. The lunch was a great BBQ with different meats and options. There was also a slide off the side of the boat which was awesome! Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at the Maui Dragon Fruit Farm, on the farm tour, the zipline, and the aquaball. When we got there we were taken for a short tour of the farm which was both pretty and interesting as there were a couple of different tropical fruits, and I imagine it could only be better during dragon fruit season. The Zipline was fun, although it was shorter than we first expected it to be. It was made better by being able to have multiple goes on it. The aqua ball was great fun especially on the hot day. Both of the staff who were with us were really friendly and helpful about tips and advice for the rest of our trip on Maui.

The Maui Dragon Fruit Farm was really interesting on its own before the fun activities, and looked over a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff (who were extremely friendly and helpful for advice about Maui) showed us around the farm pointing out the dragon fruit, pineapples and such. The zipline was shorter than expected, however we got to go on multiple times and was generally really fun. The aqua ball was our favourite part as its a completely new experience than anything we have done before. The road that the ball went down was short, but being in the ball it felt like a long time which was probably perfect for the ride. Overall, it was a good place to do these activities as there was such a friendly atmosphere.

We woke up early and lined up at the harbor to check in for the cruise. The Captain and crew introduced themselves and explained the rules (three points of contact, breakfast and lunch will be served, dive with a buddy, and snorkeling gear will be provided). Once we boarded, the captain kept us apprised of where we were going, what we were seeing and how long it would take. At one point, we saw a group of whales. The Captain stopped the boat and explained that we were watching a mother whale and her new baby. We were also told that the two males following the mother were fighting for the attention of the mother. We then went on to snorkel in two spots. All gear was provided, including masks, snorkels and floating devices. A couple of crew members stayed in the water to watch the group and to point out interesting fish and turtle populations. Overall, it was a great morning and afternoon. And the food was good, too.

Had a fantastic time! Lots of whales to see. Can't wait to do this again the next time we're in Maui.

We did the 2 for 1 special for zip lining and aquaball. The kids loved aquaball!! Zip lining is def more for beginners or smaller children. My 11 and 14 year olds were able to touch the ground so not much fun for them there. Kinda hard to find the place and beware to parents who aren't doing the activities, you do have to walk to the zip line course. Lots of sun exposure so don't forget to bring sunblock. The kids fave of the two had to be the aquaball. The aquaball is where you are inserted into a big plastic ball that is filled with water, once inside the ball they plug a hole (How you get in of course) and push you down a small course they've built. It's really a lot of fun, I'd suggest to extend on that aquaball idea. (More courses, cooler water etc.)

We went to Maui for our much needed getaway for our 5th year anniversary, and my wife was very specific about going to Old Lahaina Luau. She did her homework and made our reservation at least 2 months in advance. Yes, she's a planner!

I've been to a luau on Oahu on our previous visit, but boy, Old Lahaina Luau exceeded our expectations. The sunset over the Maui ocean was spectacular, and the food and the entertainment was just top-notch. There was never a dull moment, and the staff was always around to ask you if we needed anything. We just loved these beautiful hula dancers, and they were very authentic.

If you come to Maui, you need to go to Old Lahaina Luau. Don't expect to get a seat on the night of. I saw some people who just showed up without a reservation as we were checking-in, and nope, there was no seats for them. You need to make a reservation far in advance for sure, and it's so worth it.

First thing, the boat Captain Lilly and her crew of Cody, Robby, and Robin made us really feel like we were part of there family. They were very attentive to everyone. On the trip besides my wife were our 3 children ages 13, 11, & 7. As we left the harbor and headed out on our very spacious boat, we had some breakfast treats and were fortunate enough to see some whales on the way to Lanai too. As we got halfway across the Bay, Mother nature provided a little wind but the Captain and crew took us to Sweetheart Rock which was very calm and beautiful. After we spent an hour or so there, we headed off to another location and were greeted by a pod of spinner dolphins. That was a great treat as the boat allowed for easy viewing, and as a matter of fact, you felt like you could reach in the water and touch them. As we cruised back to Lahaina we again came upon some more whales, this was truly a magical experience seeing these giant animals up so close. Our final snorkeling spot was just outside of the harbor and we we entered the water, the kids were able swim along with the turtles. The kids were blown away as this was there very first trip the islands and there very first snorkeling trip. As we anchored down, we had had a very nice lunch and plenty of sun and scenery to take in. As we enjoyed the experience, one of the boat engine had trouble so we had to wait for a mechanic to check it out. That was really a blessing, as we had extra time to snorkel and soak in the views. The entire family was actually happy to have the delay as we got some spend extra time on the boat and in the water....We could have stayed all day. The next time we are back Maui, we are going to do it all over again....

this was a great value for money tour, nice people running trip with loads of knowledge, reasonably priced snacks.... All ages loved it.

We participated in an early morning tour. Since we don't understand English, we were hoping for a tour with a Japanese guide, but we were told, "It's the next tour." I wish we had known when the Japanese guide would board.

For now, we boarded the ship. We were the only Japanese people on it.

A crew member was explaining something about whales, but we couldn't understand at all. However, we did understand when she said, "Wow! Splash!" when the whale spouted water. It was amazing to see the tail and pectoral fins flapping up close.

When we went, it was the best season, and we were able to see whales probably within 15 meters of the boat. I think we could have enjoyed it even more if we understood English.

早朝のツアーに参加。英語がわからない私たちは、日本語ガイドさんがいるツアーだ、と期待指定して行ったけど、「次のツアーです」と言われました。いつ日本語ガイドが乗船するのかわかるようになっていればよかったなぁ。と。
とりあえず、乗船。日本人は私たちだけ。
クルーのお姉さんが何やらクジラの事を説明してくれているのだけどさっぱりわからない。。
くじらが潮を吹く時に「うぁ〜おぉ！スプラ〜シュッ！！」と言うのはわかりました。尾びれや胸びれをばたつかせるのが間近で観れて感動☆
行った時は最高のシーズンで船のたぶん15m近くでクジラを観る事が出来ました。
英語がわかればもっと楽しめたと思います。

Saw more whales than we had ever seen before. Our guide was very informative and knew his stuff.

As we walked up to the harbor the staff was friendly and guided us in the right direction (since there's several different boats departing near each other) Right from the start the captain was very friendly. She introduced herself as well as her staff. As you get on the boat the captain explains to you what stops we will be making and exactly where we will be snorkeling. Unfortunately for us the first stop (right in front of lanai) was too windy so we had to go straight to our second stop. On our way there we saw a baby humpback whale with her mama whale. We stayed at our snorkeling spot for about half an hour to 45 minutes. We saw plenty of fish but unfortunately there were no turtles. Either way the view was very beautiful. On our way back to maui (from lanai) we drove right next to a pod of dolphins and that was probably the highlight of the trip for me. It was amazing seeing all the Dolphins jump out of water and they were very close to us!!! . As we saw the Dolphins and the whales, the captain would give us some info about them and she was very informative. The crew was helpful with making sure everybody was comfortable. They cook hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and it was pretty yummy. It's a little bit hard to walk on the boat so the crew helped us take our food to the table, they walk around to pick up the trash, they hand out snorkel gear for those who need it, and the captain instructs us on how to dive in and where to snorkel. They also passed out some cookies after everyone ate and those cookies were delicious. They also offered complimentary beer or cocktails for those of age. Overall it was an awesome experience with awesome people. I would definitely recommend it. Some of the people got a little sea sick so I definitely recommend taking something before getting on the boat for those who have sensitive tummies.

Everything about the trip was great. Breakfast consisted of muffins, granola bars, fresh fruit platter juices and coffee. Plenty to eat. The ship consisted of two decks. Top deck was a great place to whale watch on the way over to Lanai. The first snorkel sight was just off a cove near Lanai. Saw lots of colorful fish. Rode back through channel was only negative. It was windy and the waves were rough. Crew was very amazing. Felt safe with the captain and crew. Went to another cove off maui. Saw turtles and other fish. Lunch was great! Burgers, hot dogs, chicken and veggie burgers chips, cookies and pasta salad. Plenty to drink. Saw lots of whales along the way! I would do this trip again. :)

The departure is at 7:30 AM, and the fare is cheaper than the morning departures. The meeting time is 7:00 AM, but quite a few people are already at Lahaina Harbor, so it's better to arrive before 7:00 AM to park in the harbor's three-hour free parking. You will need to present the printed voucher at the booth, write your name, and sign a document acknowledging the risks associated with cruising to receive your boat ticket. Boats to Molokai Island and snorkeling tours also depart from the same location in sequence. The boat won't arrive until the previous one departs, so be sure to look around carefully to avoid getting on the wrong one. There is no Japanese guide for the early morning departure, but a naturalist will explain the whales' ecology in English. In early March, the peak whale season is slightly past, but we were able to see a whale approximately every ten minutes during the two-hour cruise. We could only see the dorsal fins and tails from a distance, so it might be a good idea to bring binoculars. The weather was cloudy. I had taken motion sickness medication in advance. The waves were calm, so it was fine. Bringing food and drinks is allowed, but snacks were also sold on the boat. A bottle of juice was about two dollars. The cruising experience was refreshing, but since we didn't see the whales' dynamic movements up close, my 12-year-old son (and some young Americans on board) found it a bit boring.

早朝7:30発で料金は午前発よりお得です。7:00集合ですがラハイナ港にはすでに結構人が来ているので、車を港の３時間無料パーキングに駐車するには7:00前には着いていたほうがよいです。あらかじめプリントアウトしておいたバウチャーをブースで出して名前を書き、「クルージングに伴う諸リスクを承知しています」との書類にサインすると、船のチケットを渡されます。同じ場所からモロカイ島行の船やシュノーケリングツアーの船も順番に出ます。前の船が出るまでは時間になっても船が入港して来ないので、よく周囲を見て乗り間違えないようにしましょう。早朝発には日本語ガイドはありませんが、ナチュラリストの方が英語でクジラの生態などを説明してくれます。３月上旬だと、クジラのピークはやや過ぎているとのことですが、それでも２時間のクルーズで10分に１頭くらいの割合で見れました。遠くに時々胸ビレや尾ビレが見える程度だったので、双眼鏡を持っていくといいかもしれません。天気は曇り。あらかじめ酔い止めを飲んでいました。波は静かで穏やかな日でしたので、大丈夫でした。飲食物持込OKですが、船中でスナックの販売もしていました。ジュース１本２ドルくらいのようでした。クルージングとしては爽やかですが、それほど近くでダイナミックなクジラの動きを見れたわけでもなかったので、１２歳の息子（や同船していたアメリカ人の?若い人たち）はやや退屈していました。

I was satisfied to see many whales!
Since it was an English guide, there were many explanations I didn't understand, but it was great to see the whales up close.
I didn't see any big jumps, but I was able to see them splashing their tails and jumping a little.
I definitely want to participate again during whale season.

大きなジャンプは見れませんでしたが、尻尾をバシャバシャしたり、少し跳ねたりするのが見れました。
またクジラの時期に、ぜひ参加したいです。

I stayed in Lahaina and participated in the early morning plan. Although there were no whales out in the early morning, around 9 o'clock, about 15 whales appeared near the boat. I was able to see them spouting and dancing up close, and I successfully captured it on video, which made me very satisfied.

早朝でクジラも寝ていたのか出てきませんが９時過ぎになって舟の近くに１５頭ほどのクジラが出現潮吹き・乱舞と身近に見る事が出来、無事ビデオに収めることが出来大満足でした

This was a great trip that is highly recommended. The shuttle pick up from the hotel was very convenient and saved us the hassle of having to find parking. The captain (Lily) and crew were super chill and the breakfast and lunch served were ono! The BBQ lunch consisted of burgers, hot dogs and chicken. We saw a ton of whales on the trip up close but we missed out on the dolphins. The two snorkel spots were great - the coral was so healthy and multi colored. Lots of good fish diversity as well. Snorkel gear and wetsuits provided were a great addition. No complaints whatsoever - definitely book this trip!

This is a great trip to do with your family! Plenty to eat for breakfast and lunch. The crew is helpful and knowledgable. Lots of whales to see. Snorkeling sites had lots to see.

We hat a very nice boat trip and saw about 20 whales. The Crew gave us some interesting Information about whales. I would book the trip again.

We did the snorkel excursion during a week long family trip to Maui, Hawaii. Capt Lily was amazing and the other staff/crew were as well. Everyone in my group had a blast and it was definitely a highlight of my trip. We got to see so much, and actually meet cool people as well! It is advertised as a snorkel excursion but count on it to be a whale/dolphin watching as well! We had a great time. Thank you!!

I found the excursion very fun. The best part about the trip was the amount of information that we all learned from our crew members. The amount of whales we saw was incredible, and how Captain Lilly put the attention of the boat on the whales and spinner Dolphins that were close by. She told us what was happening and taught us some very cool things that she was clearly very passionate about. I found the other crew members very helpful as well, they were always offering us help with anything that we needed. I felt very safe on the boat and as well in the areas we snorkelled, which was thanks to the crew members putting our safety first. I thought our crew members did a very excellent job at making our trip a very enjoyable learning experience.
