We departed from Kailua-Kona, and after a while, we encountered heavy rain. The weather wasn't great even when we entered Saddle Road. I wondered if everything would be okay, but when we arrived at the visitor center, it was cloudy and we couldn't see the summit. Trusting the words of our guide, Shoyo, who said, "The weather at the top is different," we headed towards the summit. At a certain point (around 3000m?), the clouds cleared, and it was a beautiful sunny day. He carefully explained the Palomar Observatory group as we toured around. And then came the much-anticipated sunset. It was a bit cold and windy, but we were able to see the most amazing sunset. After the sun went down, we enjoyed stargazing a little further down. We could see the Milky Way perfectly. It was great to see Saturn through the telescope. The explanation of the constellations was in Japanese, so I understood it well. It was truly a fun experience, thank you very much.

カイルアコナから出発して、しばらく行くと、大雨。サドルロードに入ってもあまり良い天気ではありませんでした。大丈夫かなと、思いながら着いたビジターセンターは曇りで、山頂は見えませんでした。「頂上の天気は違います」と言う、ガイドの翔洋さんの言葉を信じて、頂上へ向かいました。ある所(3000m位かな？)から、雲が切れて、快晴でした。パロマ天文台群を丁寧に説明して回ってくれました。そして、お待ちかねのサンセットです。風が強くて少し寒かったですが、最高の夕陽が見れました。日が暮れた後は、少し降りた所で、星空鑑賞でした。天の川もバッチリ見えました。土星🪐を天体望遠鏡で見れたのは良かったです。星座の説明は、日本語だったので、良くわかりました。本当に、楽しい体験、ありがとうございました。

The live music was fun while traveling on the boat to The Sandbar and the donuts were fresh and good. The tubing was an absolute blast! The banana boat was not as fun as the tubing and my wife fell off although we did see sea turtles while on the banana boat. We would definitely do the tubing again. The snorkeling was fun with lots of fish swimming right in front of my face and a coral reef below you while you float on your stomach. The board you can stand on or kneel on and paddle was interesting and challenging. They also had kayaks but everybody wanted to use the boards. Playing volleyball with multiple people out in the water was fun and they also had other toys like footballs and water guns but nobody really used them. Just swimming in the middle of the ocean while standing on the sandbar was a blast. The sandwiches on the way home we're also fresh and good. The only thing that could make this better was if the boat did not have a roof so we can feel the breeze and fresh air while traveling out to The Sandbar. Overall I would definitely recommend this and do it again!

Starting with guidance in Japanese, I was deeply impressed by the detailed instruction that smoothly integrated simple Japanese and English while riding the horse. Waking up early in the morning to go there was truly a valuable experience.

日本語の案内から始まって、いざ馬に乗っても、片言の日本語や英語を交えてのきめ細かな指導があり、スムーズに馬が動かすことができて大変感動しました。

I returned home extremely satisfied after an amazing show that exceeded my expectations. The storytelling was captivating, and the ending was so powerful that it brought me to tears.

I had various concerns about the detailed timing, gate security, and the route to the front desk, but the tour was fantastic with beautiful scenery and a stunning sunset ride. The staff and the friendly cat at the reception made for a pleasant experience.

It was an experience that allowed me to feel the sky, clouds, mountains, sea, and Earth. I thought it might be reckless to take on this challenge in my late 60s, but I'm glad I did it. I felt truly happy to be alive.

I was very satisfied to be able to see the beautiful sunset and starry sky. From the base, the mountaintop was covered in clouds, and I was worried about whether we would be able to see it, but we were able to see it very beautifully. During the tour, our guide, James, was always attentive and took many photos for us! Thank you!

綺麗な夕日と星空を見ることができて大満足でした。麓から見ると山頂は雲に包まれていて、無事に見れるか心配していましたが、とても綺麗に見ることが出来ました。

It was great that I could go at my own pace. Since I don't usually exercise, there were times when it was tough to reach the summit. However, when I got to the top, I was filled with a sense of accomplishment. The view of Waikiki from there was breathtaking. I would love to join this tour again someday. Next time, I think I'll choose a time when I can see the sunrise.

マイペースで行けるというのが非常に良かった。自分は普段から運動してないので、頂上まで苦しいこともありましたが、。頂上に着いた時は達成感でいっぱいでした。そして、そこからのワイキキは絶景でした。またいつかこのツアーに参加したいです。次は日の出が見られる時間のにしようと思います。

I saw it from the front at D7. It was incredibly powerful. The rings, the big jump from the swing, and the balance board were all fun. However, as mentioned beforehand, it can be a bit chilly. Those who are sensitive to the cold might need a jacket.

D7という正面の前の方で見ました。最高の迫力でした。吊り輪、ブランコからの大ジャンプ、バランスボード、どれも面白かったです。ただ、事前情報通り、やや冷えます。寒がりさんには上着が必要かな。

I have watched the sunset from the beach many times, but the sunset from the boat was the best. There were many options for all-you-can-drink, and I think it was a great deal for the tour.

今まで何度もビーチからサンセットをみましたが、船からのサンセットは最高でした。

The excellent access right next to the Sheraton, being able to drink plenty of Mai Tais, the best sunset, and the sailing to Diamond Head made for an amazing experience! I want to do it again!

シェラトンのすぐ横から出るアクセスの良さと、マイタイをたくさん飲めたことと、最高のサンセットと、ダイヤモンドヘッドへのセーリングが詰まった最高のセット！また乗りたい！

I participated in the second tour. The weather was amazing, the guide was fantastic, and it was a very enjoyable time. After we arrived at the point, we started playing in the water, but during lunch, the tide was high, so even at a shallow point, I, being 153 cm tall, could barely touch the bottom. It's definitely important to check the tides. After playing for a while, we went snorkeling, but about half of the group stayed on the boat.

2便に参加しました。お天気サイコー、ガイドさんもサイコーで、とても楽しいひとときでした。ポイントについた後、水遊び開始ですが、お昼は満潮近く水位が高かったので、浅瀬のポイントでも153cmの私でやっと足がつくかつかないか、でした。やっぱり潮の満ち引きは要チェックです。しばし遊んだ後シュノーケリングでしたが、半分くらいの方は船上に残っていました。

The Maui Gold pineapple, grown at the foot of Haleakalā, is incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, my limited English skills made it difficult for me to understand most of the guide's explanations. I was impressed by how much could be said about just a pineapple. Since I had researched the origins of Maui Gold beforehand, I felt like I understood it to some extent. Everyone else was a traveler from the mainland. I struggled with the knife provided in the condominium to cut the souvenir pineapple, but it tasted even better when chilled than the samples I tried locally.

残念ながら英語力が乏しい私には、ガイドさんの説明は殆ど理解出来出来ませんでした。
パイナップルだけであれ程語られるかと感服しました。
事前にマウイゴールドの成り立ちを調べていたので、何となく理解した気分です。
私達以外は全てメインランドの旅行者ばかりでした。
土産のパイナップルは、コンドミニアム備え付けの包丁では苦労しましたが、冷して食べると現地の試食より美味い。

I checked the weather forecast after arriving and made my reservation. It was a great decision to choose a sunny day since there were rain icons following the reservation date.

現地到着後に天気予報を見て予約しました。
予約日以降は雨マークが続いていたので晴天日を選んで大正解。

The sunset and the starry sky were beautiful. The starry sky was so stunning that I can confidently say it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The guide was also interesting and provided an easy-to-understand explanation in Japanese, which was great.

サンセットも星空もキレイでした。星空は一生に一度の経験と確信できるほど美しかったです。ガイドの方も面白く、日本語でわかりやすくガイドしてくれてよかったです。

Since all participants were Japanese, it was initially assumed that the communication would be in English, but ultimately everything was conducted in Japanese. The Japanese staff made sure to accommodate only Japanese participants and were considerate right up until the last moment.

The view from the ground was obscured by cloudy skies, but once we ascended above 4,000 meters, we emerged above the clouds and were able to see a beautiful blue sky, a sea of clouds, and a stunning sunset. The explanation regarding altitude sickness prevention was thorough.

We were also able to see an incredibly beautiful Milky Way. The constellations were explained in detail, and the guide took beautiful photos with their camera.

参加者が全員日本人のため、当初は英語の前提でしたが、結果的にすべて日本語で案内してくれました。日本人は日本人だけのバンで固めてくれて直前まで気を遣ってくださいます。
地上から山頂は見えない曇り空でしたが、4000メートルを超えたあたりから雲の上に出て綺麗な青空と雲海とサンセットを見ることができました。高山病対策の説明も丁寧です。
星空もこれ以上ない綺麗な天の川を見ることができました。星座も丁寧に説明してくださり、写真もガイドさんのカメラで綺麗に撮ってくれます。

We weren't able to go on the memorial, I understand that, but Ranger who talked on the boat over should be given another job! One, she had to read off a paper about what happened on Dec-7. many times she lost her place and had to start over! If I couldn' t remember what happend I'd give on my job! Volunteer on Missouri was terrific,older retired military, very good presentation,knew what the hell he was talking about unlike the woman Ranger!

Thanks to the lovely Japanese guide Fuko, who greeted us with a smile, I had a great time throughout the trip. She talked a lot about Hawaii while we were on the boat and brought us drinks; she was truly a considerate tour guide. A pod of spinner dolphins swam around the boat for a long time, jumping and showing off their cute appearances. During snorkeling, we saw several green sea turtles. There weren't many fish, but I was very satisfied!

お迎えの時から笑顔が可愛い日本人のフウコさんのお陰で、終始楽しく参加させて頂きました。
船の中でもハワイの事をたくさんお話してくれたり、ドリンクを持ってきてくれたり、本当に気遣いの素晴らしい添乗員さんでした。
ハシナガイルカの群が長い時間船の周りを泳いでくれて、ジャンプしたり可愛い姿を見せてくれました。シュノーケリングではアオウミガメを何匹も見れました。お魚さんはちょっと少なかったですが、大満足でした！

The view from above is amazing. While the streets of Waikiki are nice, the suburban environment, scenery, and everything about it is an exquisite space.

上空からの景色は最高です。
ワイキキの街中も良いですが、この郊外の環境、風景、何もかもが極上空間です。

Shō-chan (the tour guide) was kind and it was so much fun! I was able to take wonderful photos! It was the best! Thank you very much!!

This was my second participation in 16 years. The weather at the base was bad, but as the guide explained, it was fine at the summit, and I had a wonderful experience. I was thrilled to see a sky full of stars again. I don't know when I'll come back next, but I definitely plan to participate again when I visit the Big Island.

16年振り2回目の参加でした。麓の天気は悪かったですが山頂は大丈夫とのガイドさんの説明通り、素晴らしい体験ができました。満天以上の星空を再び見ることができ感激です。次はいつかわかりませんが、ビッグアイランドに来たら必ず参加すると思います。

It was an awesome experience, made even better with our tour guide and driver, Elsie she rocks!!

The weather was favorable, and I was able to see wonderful scenery. The sunset over the sea of clouds at the summit of Mauna Kea was truly breathtaking. James, our guide this time, knew all the photo spots and took a lot of pictures for us. It was a great memory.

During the stargazing, we had a guide who spoke Japanese, which made everything very easy to understand and interesting.

They lent us warm clothing and prepared hot cocoa, providing us with excellent hospitality. I also thought it would be nice to see the scenery on a clear day.

天候にも恵まれ、素晴らしい景色を見ることができました。
マウナケア山頂で見た雲海に沈む夕陽はまさに絶景でした。今回ガイドをしてくれたJamesは、各所でのフォトスポットを知っていて、写真をたくさん撮ってくれました。いい思い出です。
天体観測では、今回日本語を話せるガイドさんがいらっしゃったので、とてもわかりやすく面白かったです。
防寒具を貸していただいたり、温かいココアを用意していただいたり、素晴らしいホスピタリティで楽しませていただきました。
また、雲のない日の景色も見てみたいなと思いました。

The 150 meters was higher and scarier than I imagined, but it was a lot of fun and became a wonderful memory! Since there is less of a roller coaster-like feeling of weightlessness, I think even those who are not good with attractions can enjoy it. The staff were all very friendly and kind, so even if you have concerns about the language, you'll be fine!

150メートルは想像より高くて怖かったですがとても楽しくて素敵な思い出になりました！ジェットコースターのような浮遊感は少ないので、アトラクションが苦手な方でも楽しめると思います。
スタッフの方も皆さんとても気さくで優しかったので言語に不安があっても大丈夫です！

This was our first time doing this excursion. It did not disappoint. Wes, our guide was so knowledgeable and very impressive with explaining things in English and Japanese. The views were breathtaking.

This time, I participated in the long-awaited Mauna Kea sunset and stargazing tour on the Big Island. There was a paid shuttle service to the hotel where I was staying, and we started from there. We headed from the Kona area to Waikoloa, picking up other guests along the way, aiming for the summit in a 12-passenger bus. Our guide was James. The main instructions were in English, but he made a great effort to include Japanese for us, and his explanations were very easy to understand as he spoke slowly.

We took a break at the Onizuka Center to acclimatize to the high altitude. At that time, there was fog, and it was uncertain whether we could reach the summit, but thanks to the ranger checking the situation and clearing the way, we were able to proceed safely to the top. Although I didn't feel unwell, I realized the importance of staying hydrated and having light snacks as a precaution against altitude sickness.

The sunset at the summit was one of the most beautiful sights of my life. The view of the sun setting on the horizon and the changing colors of the sky was indescribably moving. James was very kind with photography, using a professional camera to take wonderful pictures. Additionally, there was a Japanese guide on another bus, which was reassuring as we could hear detailed explanations in Japanese.

During the tour, we were served BLT sandwiches and water, which filled us up. There were also jackets and pants available for rent to keep warm, making it comfortable. As night fell, the long-awaited stargazing began. The guide carefully explained the constellations and the universe, and I was able to see the most beautiful Milky Way and a sky full of stars in my life. There were opportunities for photography under the starry sky and hot cocoa service, making it a truly comprehensive experience.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Big Island. It was worth more than the price, and it became an unforgettable experience.

今回、ハワイ島で念願だったマウナケアのサンセットと天体観測ツアーに参加しました。宿泊していたホテルまで有料送迎があり、まずはそこからスタート。他のゲストをピックアップしながらコナ地区からワイコロアへ向かい、12人乗りのバスで山頂を目指しました。ガイドを務めてくれたのはジェームスさん。基本は英語での案内でしたが、私たちのために一生懸命日本語も交えてくれ、スピードもゆっくりで非常に聞きやすい説明でした。

途中、オニヅカセンターで休憩し、高地に体を慣らしました。このとき霧が発生しており、山頂まで行けるかどうかはギリギリの状況でしたが、レンジャーが状況を確認し道を開けてくれたため、無事に頂上まで進むことができました。体調不良は特になかったものの、高山病対策として水分補給や軽食を心がけることが大切だと感じました。

そして迎えた山頂でのサンセットは、これまでの人生で一番といえるほどの美しさでした。水平線に沈む太陽と、空の色合いが刻々と変化していく光景は、言葉では言い尽くせない感動でした。ジェームスさんは写真撮影にもとても親切で、プロ仕様のカメラを使って素晴らしい写真を撮ってくれました。さらに、別のバスには日本人ガイドも同行しており、日本語で詳しい解説を聞くことができたのも安心できるポイントでした。

ツアー中にはBLTサンドイッチと水のサービスがあり、これでお腹を満たすことができました。寒さ対策として上着やズボンの貸し出しもあり、快適に過ごせました。夜になると、待ちに待った天体観測が始まります。ガイドが星座や宇宙の解説を丁寧にしてくれ、人生で最も美しい天の川と満天の星空を見ることができました。星空の下での写真撮影やホットココアのサービスもあり、まさに至れり尽くせりの内容でした。

ハワイ島を訪れる方には、ぜひとも参加をおすすめしたいツアーです。値段以上の価値があり、一生忘れられない体験となりました。

I went to see Cirque du Soleil for the first time during my trip to Hawaii. Since it just opened last year, the audience was almost full. I watched from the second row, and the powerful stage made the time fly by. I was able to relax while enjoying a drink. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

ハワイ旅行の際に初めてシルクドソレイユを観に行きました。昨年出来たばかりということで、お客さんもほぼ満席でした。
下手2列目で鑑賞しましたが、迫力のあるステージであっという間の時間でした。ドリンクを飲みながら鑑賞できるのでリラックス出来ました。

I was a bit anxious since I only understood a little English, but I was able to mimic those around me and, although it was tough to catch the fast English during explanations, I could understand through gestures! Basically, the instructor finds sea turtles and guides us, so if you follow along while swimming, you can see them!

実際英語が少しわかるくらいで不安でしたが周りの人の真似したり説明の時めちゃ早い英語で聞き取るのが大変ですがジェスチャーなどで読み取ることはできました！
基本的にはインストラクターがウミガメなど見つけて案内してくれるので泳いでる時もついて行けば見れます！

It was the same performer as the previous day, but I went two days in a row. I ordered pasta for my meal, and it was a fairly standard portion, as shown in the photo. The vegetables were fresh (it was asparagus that day) and delicious. Also, the check-in time is specified by the restaurant when you make a reservation, and since it was a later time, we were seated at a table on the edge. However, being physically closer made it feel more impactful than sitting further back.

前日と同じパフォーマーでしたが2日連続で行きました。
食事としてパスタを頼んだところ、こちらは写真のようにまあまあ普通のボリュームでした。
野菜が新鮮で(この日はアスパラガス)美味しかったです。
また、チェックイン時刻は予約時に店から指定されますが遅めだったせいか、端の方のテーブルでした。でも物理的に近いので、上の方の席よりも迫力がありました。

The sunset was wonderful, and the starry sky was amazing.
