Hawaii
A large manta ray came within just a couple of centimeters and circled around us more than ten times! We also encountered a few smaller manta rays. I could see inside its mouth and all its fins; it was truly a beautiful creature, and I was moved by the experience.
This tour accommodates a small group of up to eight people. On this day, there were two staff members with us. Being able to swim and having some snorkeling experience were prerequisites, as we needed to swim a bit to reach the best points where the manta rays were located.
The staff members were genuinely caring and fun to be around. I’m not very good at English, but I participated on a day when there was an English-speaking guide, and I managed to get by with gestures. There was also a thorough lecture about manta rays, so I think it would have been even more enjoyable if I had participated with a Japanese guide or had better language skills.
The meeting point was clearly communicated through several emails, so I found it easily. Additionally, I’m grateful for the videos and photos from that day!
大きなマンタが2枚数センチのところまで来て10回以上旋回していきました！他にも何枚か小さめのマンタにも会えました。
口の中もヒレの中も全部見えたけど、本当に美しい生き物で感動しました。
こちらのツアーは8人までの少人数制です。この日は2人スタッフがついてくれていました。
泳げてシュノーケル経験があることが条件で、海の中で少し泳いで移動するのでマンタのいるベストなポイントに行けるのだと思いました。
スタッフの方は本当に思いやりがあって楽しい方々でした。
英語が苦手ですが、英語ガイドさんの日に参加しましたが見よう見まねでなんとかなりました。
丁寧なマンタに関するレクチャーもあったので、日本人ガイドさんに参加するかもう少し私に語学力があれば更に楽しかっただろうな。
集合場所も何度も丁寧にメールを下さったのですぐわかりました。
あと、その日のビデオや写真もいただけて感謝です！

Additionally, seeing the green sea turtle come up to the surface to take in oxygen was nothing short of moving, creating precious memories that you can never experience in an aquarium. 10月に小学生の娘と夫と3人で参加しました。
以前別のツアーでカメさんと泳げたので、今回はイルカと泳いでみたくてこちらのツアーを予約しました。
ツアーは少人数で小さめのボートに乗りました。今回参加者10人中日本人は私達を入れて7人いました。船長さんとアシスタントさんは外国の方でした。船長さんは俳優もやられてるみたいで、素敵な声のイケメンでしたよ。ガイドさんは日本人で、ケンさんという方でした。あと、カメラマンさんも日本人でゆうやさんという方でした。
ケンさんは常に私達日本人の側にいてくれて、船長さんが説明していることを私たちに優しく訳して教えてくれたり、娘にも優しく、色々なことを教えてくれました。
ゆうやさんも今この瞬間撮って欲しいなぁ〜みたいな時にすかさず近くにきて写真を撮ってくれて、嬉しかったです。たくさん素敵なお写真撮ってくれました。
船のヘリはバナナボートみたいな浮き輪タイプになっていて、またいで座ってていいと言われ、娘は大興奮。船の速度が増す度におしりが浮いたりして楽しかったです。
ただイルカさんにはなかなか会えず、雲行きも怪しくなってきて気持ち良かった風がだんだん寒くなってきてしまいました。たくさんのイルカが集まってる場所に着いた時、雨も降っていて、私たちはかなり寒くなっていました。けどその時イルカは200頭ぐらいいたそうです！そんな見えることはなかなかないそうです！
たくさんのイルカが見れてイルカと泳げる期待感が高まっていたんですが、そこではイルカと泳げず、何度かイルカを見ましたが、色々な条件が合わす、その日は結局イルカと泳ぐことは叶いませんでした。
残念ですが自然のものなので、仕方ないです。
最後港の近くで少しシュノーケリングした時、カメさん見れましたよ！
またいつかリベンジしたいと思います。

Before 7 AM, we were picked up at our hotel in Ko Olina and transported to the departure location. We gathered with everyone from Dolphin University and headed out on our respective boats to search for dolphins. The water temperature was warm in late October, but it could get chilly once you got out, so I recommend wearing a wetsuit (cash $10).
Our guide, Minako, provided detailed explanations for us Japanese participants, allowing us to feel safe and enjoy the experience from start to finish. At one point, I wondered if we would find any dolphins, but after a thorough search by Captain Jason, we were able to see a lot of dolphins while snorkeling! It was my first experience in such deep, blue waters.
After that, we moved to another spot where we could see turtles and fish up close while snorkeling, and we had lunch before wrapping up in the morning. Minako shared many stories, allowing us to learn and feel the grandeur of nature. I was very satisfied!!
We also had the chance to ride on both sides of the boat as a banana boat, making it a truly fun tour. I highly recommend it!

イルカ大学と中学のみんなで集まり、それぞれの船でイルカ探しに向かいます。10月下旬で水温は温かかったですが、上がると寒かったりするのでウェットツース(現金$10)がおすすめ。
日本人の私たちのために、みなこさんというガイドさんが詳しく説明してくれ最初から最後まで安心してとっても楽しむことができました。途中イルカが見つからないかなと思いましたが、Jason captainの大捜索の末、たっくさんのイルカをシュノーケリングで見ることができましたー！こんな深くて青い海は初めての経験です。
その後は移動して、カメや魚をシュノーケリングで間近で見ることができ、ランチをして午前中には終了。
みなこさんのたくさんのお話で学びもあり自然の雄大さを感じることができました。大満足！！
ボートは両側に乗ってバナナボートとして楽しむことができ本当に楽しいツアーです。おすすめですー！

Sunset cruise was very windy. Sunset was beautiful. Meal was ok at best. Value for your money was not there. Crew did a great job under the conditions.

This was the best activity we did as a family on our Hawaii vacation. Such a beautiful day out at sea. We snorkeled and went down the slide. My 7 and 4 year olds were swimming in the middle of the ocean and having a blast. The staff was so nice and helpful. They fed us lunch and the tacos were delicious. We got a ton of great photos as well.

It was my first time in Maui in 25 years, and I’m really glad I had this experience. From the moment we boarded, I felt an exciting thrill as if I was already on an attraction. The weather was great, and the beauty of it all made me forget about everyday life! The clarity of the ocean, the encounters with sea turtles, and the meals on the boat make me want to come back again!
For those who are unsure about Japanese, there is an incredibly powerful Japanese person named Takako. She embodies the energy of Hawaii. She approached me very casually, and she has such a fun personality.
