I participated in a sunrise tour at the summit of Haleakalā on my first visit to Maui. I was a bit confused about the need for reconfirmation, so I called the tour company the day before, but I still didn't quite understand it. On the day of the tour, the bus arrived almost on time. Everyone except me was a foreigner. We were assigned seats, and they provided a Japanese brochure and a Japanese audio guide (upon request). We drove in the dark and quickly arrived at the summit of Haleakalā. While waiting for the sunrise, the wind was strong and it was really cold. I thought I had dressed warmly enough for the tour, but it was still chilly. However, when the sun finally rose, I felt its brightness and warmth, and I could truly appreciate the greatness of nature. The scenery was absolutely stunning. If I ever come to Maui again, I would love to participate in this tour once more.

初めてのマウイ島、ハレアカラ山頂のサンライズツアーに参加しました。よく分からなかったのがリコンファームが必要と書いてあり、不安ながら参加前日に催行会社へ電話をしましたが・・、あれが良く分かりませんでした。当日、ほぼ時間通りにバスが迎えに来てくれました。私以外すべて外国人でした。席を決められており、そこには日本語のパンフレット、日本語のオーディオガイド(要リクエスト)をご準備いただきました。暗い中を走り、あっという間にハレアカラ山頂へ到着。サンライズまでの待ち時間、風も強く本当に寒いです。だいぶ防寒対策をしてツアーに参加したつもりでしたが、それでも寒かったです。しかしいざ太陽が昇ってくると明るさと温かさを感じ、自然の偉大さを体で感じることができました。景色が本当に素晴らしいです。マウイ島に来ることがあれば、また参加したいです。

I reserved a VIP seat, but there was a mix-up on the day, and I was directed to a regular seat (which I found out later). However, the seat I was given was towards the front of the regular section, so I was able to enjoy it as if it were a VIP seat. Later, I was contacted and informed that there had been a mistake with the seating, and they would refund the difference, which they did. I was lucky that my seat was towards the front of the regular section, but if it had been further back, I think I wouldn't have been satisfied, as I would have expected to be sitting in a VIP seat. Since it was nighttime, I thought it would be cold and brought a jacket, but it was even colder than I imagined!

VIP席で予約したが当日手違いがあり通常席の案内となった（後日分かった）。しかし案内された席は通常席の前の方だったのでこれがVIP席なのかと普通に楽しめた。

I participated for the first time on my honeymoon. At the buffet before the show, I enjoyed Hawaiian cuisine while listening to ukulele performances and singing. The show was more impressive than I had imagined, truly a fusion of rock and hula dance. The venue was quite lively, and I was entertained throughout. After it ended, I was able to take commemorative photos with the cast, making wonderful memories fitting for a honeymoon. I'm really glad I participated!

When I arrived just before 5 o'clock, there was already quite a line. Since we were a group of seven, I was worried about whether we could sit together, but we were able to sit at the same table.
The food was delicious. Since we chose the cheapest plan, we only received one welcome drink, a Mai Tai, and after that, we could only get water, which was a bit disappointing.
The show was fun, but it felt quite touristy. I thought the show at the Polynesian Cultural Center was more authentic.
The location was good, and I think it's a nice place to enjoy a show in Waikiki.

First, a story about a mistake.
I found out at the reception that I had the wrong date for my reservation, and I thought, "Oh no! We can't see it!" However, the woman at the reception changed the date for us, and we were able to attend. I was really looking forward to this show, so she felt like a goddess to me. Thank you so much!
We entered through the VIP entrance, enjoyed a welcome drink and appetizers, and then the show began.
We were guided to our seats in the order we entered, and I think we were about 10th in line, but we ended up right in the center, front row, which was super lucky.
The dinner course was delicious, and I was completely satisfied.
The show featured hula, impersonators, and fire dancing, all of which were wonderful and left me very satisfied!
As a fan of Michael, I was completely captivated by him! It was truly amazing, and I highly recommend this show.
After the show, as we headed towards the exit, the performers were taking commemorative photos, and I got to take a picture with Michael. His voice was so similar, and it was moving. I highly recommend this show!

We were guided to our seats in the order we lined up. It was definitely worth getting seats in the front. The golden seats allowed us to choose where to sit at a round table with a white tablecloth, so we secured a spot where we could easily see the stage. Since the actual show starts after the meal, I realized later that we could have chosen a closer table, as we could just turn our chairs around even if we were facing away from the stage.

It was almost set up like a theme park where there were various places and activities to be apart of. The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. I took my parents to Hawaii! I wanted to show them hula dancing and fire dancing, so after researching various options, I found this tour had the best reviews and made a reservation. The hula dancing and fire dancing were amazing, but there were also many impersonators of stars from the past, like Michael Jackson, which made my parents very happy! The satisfaction exceeded my expectations! Additionally, we were seated in the front row of the second floor, and the stage was at eye level, making it very easy to see! If you sit on the first floor, you have to look up. Also, since you'll be viewing from the side, I think it could get tiring.

We attended as a family of three, including my wife and daughter. We chose this place because we love Hawaiian dance and wanted to enjoy a meal while watching the show. Unfortunately, we arrived an hour late, which meant we ended up with seats on the side of the stage, making it feel like we were watching from behind, which was disappointing. Since it was New Year's Eve, the prices were uniformly high regardless of seat location when booking online, which was unfortunate. I recommend arriving early.

It took some time to get our meals, but the food was surprisingly delicious and very Hawaiian! Also, the entire show is in English.

The show was really great!

Highly recommend to use your 3 day pass. So much to do! Not enough time to do in one day. Enjoyed the hands on activities, dancing, and food. No matter where you sit for the luau you have an amazing view. Our tour guide was amazing and we met wonderful people.

This is my second time participating in this option, and it was still a fun show as always. There was a lot to enjoy, including traditional Hawaiian-style hula dancing, impersonators singing and dancing, and the thrilling fire dance. My favorite was Elvis, and "Blue Hawaii" was the best. Michael was great with his dancing and singing, but he also made us laugh with his microphone performance, which was really enjoyable.

The buffet before the show started with a Mai Tai welcome drink, and they served a whole roasted pig, along with roast beef, so I was very satisfied with the delicious food.

I thought we would go a bit further out to watch, but we started watching near the island. I expected to see whales as close as in the photos, but they were a bit far away, and we could only see their dorsal fins. I think there are hits and misses, but it's disappointing.

ハレアカラのサンライズは本当に貴重な体験になりました。

山頂には大勢の観光客が場所とりをして、1時間ほど待っています。
防寒具は必須。私たちは冬用のヒートテックのシャツにダウン、帽子や手袋も準備していましたが、それでもズボンを二枚ばきにすれば良かったと後悔しました。カイロも必須です。寒さに過敏な日本人は特にかも。
ただし、行き帰りは普通にTシャツの軽装の方がよく、バス車内で脱ぎ着ができるように準備しておいた方が良いと思います。バスには荷物を置いておけるので。

残念だったこと。
日本語のオーディオをリクエストしていましたが、結局何もないまま。
英語ガイドしかサンライズはないので覚悟はしていましたが、VERTRAさんのHPには2人に1台貸し出し、とあっていたので少し期待していました。サンライズを観るについては、他の人と同じように動いていれば大丈夫だったのですが、行き帰りのガイドさんの説明など、こちらの英語力の乏しさもあって殆どわからず。残念でした。

朝食はゴルフ場で。自分の好きなメニューを選べます。
こちらの朝食は本当に美味しかったです。
ただ、座席の配分をガイドさんが上手に手配してくれず、私たちだけ2人と1人に分かれて朝食を取りました。日本のような細やかなサービスを求めるのは難しいとはわかっていますが、ガイドさんのもう一手間が欲しかったです。

ハレアカラはサンセットの日本語ツアーも人気です。
英語が得意、夜中の出発もOKの方はサンライズツアーも大いにありかと思いますが、今度、もしマウイに行く機会があればサンセットに参加したいと思います。もしくは、ハレアカラを自分でドライブするのが良いかもしれません。道路については一本道ですので、迷うこともなく。ただし日中に。

Honestly, the number of menu items was considerably fewer than I expected, and while each dish was delicious, I started to feel a bit bored halfway through. However, drinks were all-you-can-drink, and with a variety of options, those who enjoy drinking might be very satisfied.

The show itself was full of lively spirit, and laughter echoed throughout the venue. With many attendees from Europe and America, the atmosphere was quite lively. 夕焼けを見た後に本格的に夕食。星空に変わる中、ビュッフェ形式のお食事でした。正直、メニューの数は予想よりもかなり少なく、各一品は美味しいのですが、途中から少々飽きてきてしまいました。ただ、飲み物は飲み放題、メニューも多数のため、飲むのが好きな方には大満足かも。

ショー自体はサービス精神旺盛で会場中うけて笑いが起こっていました。欧米の方が多くノリが良いです。ただ3時間ちかくあるため、時間は少々長く感じます。肌寒いので、羽織りもんは必須。飲み物もほとんど冷たいものですので。

両親の感想ですが、二回、三回とは観なくてもよいが、1度は観ておきたいショーとのこと。

帰りがけに入場時に撮影した記念写真を販売していますが、映りが良ければ記念に購入しても。観光価格ですが両親は喜んでいました。

また滞在中はレンタカーを使用していましたが、飲酒するためホテルからはタクシーをお願いしました。ハワイも飲酒運転厳禁ですのでご注意を！！
