I attended the show on March 19. My stay lasted 20 minutes. It was not held on the rooftop of the Hilton, but in a large hall inside the hotel. Given the impact of COVID-19, the governor of Hawaii has announced that gatherings should not be crowded, so I was shocked to see around 150 to 200 people packed together. I don't know if it was the organizer's decision or the hotel's, but I think it was a wrong judgment. Honestly, since it wasn't on the rooftop, I would like a refund, but I have given up on that possibility.

滞在時間は20分でした。
場所がヒルトンの屋上では無く。ホテル内の大きなホールでしました。
コロナの影響で密集したらダメとハワイの州知事も発表してるのにまさか150人〜200人ぐらいが密集してるのを見てゾッとしました。
主催側の判断なのかホテル側の判断かわかりませんが、間違った判断をしたなと思いました。

It took about 20 minutes by taxi from Hokulani Waikiki to get there, costing $35 with HANA Taxi. On the way back, it was also $35 to Ala Moana Shopping Center. We flew with JAL this time, so the Rainbow Trolley didn't stop at the Bishop Museum, and I reserved a taxi for the return trip, but it would have been better not to. The quality of the show was incredible. I thought it would mainly feature hula dancing, but there were also opera-like performances and fire dances, all of which exceeded my expectations and were so much fun that I felt emotional and almost cried at the end.

The hula dance depicted the evolution from the 1940s to modern hula, which was great. I saw a fire dance live for the first time, and it was amazing; I definitely want everyone to see it live.

There were also many beautiful men and women, and the women, in particular, were sexy and their dancing was sharp, which kept my eyes glued to the stage. The food was delicious as well. This is definitely one of the places I want to visit again the next time I go to Hawaii. Lastly, you can also take photos and get autographs.

I was looking forward to it since I am learning hula. It was great that the show was in the hotel where I was staying, so it was close by. However, I didn't know that I needed to exchange the voucher for tickets, so even though I lined up early, I had to go through the process, which made me late. The food was also great; I enjoyed a variety of Hawaiian dishes, from vegetables to meat and dessert. The live performances, hula, and fire knife dance were all very impressive.

We participated as a family with members in their teens, twenties, forties, and seventies. The buffet before the show, including the hula dance experience, was a lot of fun. The dinner lasted about an hour, and there was a wide variety of desserts, so we left feeling full. The first drink included a stylish Mai Tai cocktail, and the second drink was $10. Everyone enjoyed the show together. If I could wish for something, it would be that there were a few more songs that the younger ones know to make it perfect. I was also happy that they were willing to take photos with us after the show. It became a wonderful memory.

You might be asking yourself if a sunset Cruise is worth it. I asked myself the same thing. I went with my wife and some family and had a great time. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food was really good and had lots of options. The shows were very entertaining and some where quite funny thanks to the performers. Then the sunset was great. We went on a Wednesday and it was not many people. Felt almost like we had the entire ship to ourselves. Super fun experience overall.

We took a shuttle bus from Waikiki to see the luau. Although the shuttle was about 15 minutes late, the bus guide was very lively and the people on board were delightful, creating a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Upon arriving at the cove, we had the opportunity to participate in various free activities while waiting for the dinner show to start, and the time flew by. The structure of the dinner show was also fantastic, and I believe it was a tour with great cost performance.

I definitely want to visit again next time.

Dinner was buffet style, but it was so delicious that it didn't feel like a buffet at all. I was able to enjoy a cute original Mai Tai. There’s also a non-alcoholic Mai Tai available, so those who don’t drink can feel comfortable.

While eating, we got to watch hula dancing, and in the second half of dinner, there was a hula lesson, which made for a wonderful experience. The show was from the second-floor seats, but we were in the middle and had a great view. The performers even came right up to us, and I was moved to receive a towel from them.

I would love to go see it again. Highly recommended!!!

For my wife, who has difficulty walking, navigating uneven terrain is challenging, and even short distances can take time for able-bodied individuals. Therefore, instead of sightseeing by car, we chose the helicopter experience for the first time. Although it was disappointing that there was no lava flow, I was moved by the size of the crater when viewed from above. We also saw whales, and I am grateful to the pilot who helped us find them. I had requested a pilot who could speak Japanese, but since there were no other Japanese participants, it couldn't be helped. I was worried the day before due to strong winds that could have taken the steering wheel from me, but the ride was smooth and comfortable. My wife was also in high spirits. It was great to make effective use of our time.

足が不自由な家内にとっては、凸凹したところを歩いたりするのは困難で、健常者にとっては短い距離移動でも時間がかかったりするので、車での観光ではなく、初体験のヘリを選択しました。溶岩が流れていなかったのは残念でしたが、火口を上空から見ることが出来、その大きさに感動しました。また、鯨も見ることが出来ました。捜して下さったパイロットに感謝。日本語の出来るパイロットをリクエストしていましたが、他に日本人参加者がいなかったので仕方ありません。前日の午後は車のハンドルが取られる程の強風だったので心配しましたが揺れもなく快適。家内もハイテンションでした。時間が有効に使え良かったです。

We watched the show from the golden seats with four friends. The performance, including the kahiko, was really enjoyable. I think it was worth the price. I would have been happier if there were a bit more variety in the food, but I did leave feeling full. I definitely plan to bring my family next time and watch the show again.

Unfortunately, it was held indoors due to strong winds. It's just bad luck. There's no helping it. The indoor setting lacked the excitement. The standard seats were quite far away. The show at a certain indoor pool in Japan was more impressive.

It was helpful that children could go and get the buffet food. Also, it was great to see the fire show, which I thought we wouldn't be able to see indoors.

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales, but it was still an enjoyable cruise as we admired the majestic Big Island from the sea, passed by the luxury cruise ship anchored off the coast of Kona, and searched for the coffee farm we visited the day before. I appreciated the guide who passionately continued to explain about the whales and marine life in Hawaii in English.

I made a round trip to Captain Cook's Cove, but I wasn't able to see a single whale or dolphin. The crew kept explaining things over the microphone, so for those who understand English, it might have been a nice experience even without seeing whales. The weather was perfect, and it was a pleasant cruise. However, my wife seemed to be too seasick to enjoy the scenery.

We went in late February. Since we went as a family, we all wore matching aloha shirts, and the women wore aloha dresses. However, everything from meals to shows was outdoors, so even in Hawaii, it was cold in February. We needed jackets, like hoodies or jumpers.

But from the moment we got on the bus, we practiced clapping and learned about the origins of the words, which made the trip enjoyable. Of course, everything was in English, but the guide worked hard to speak in Japanese and used gestures, so even if we didn't understand much English, we were able to have fun!

This was my first time in Hawaii, so I wanted to see a show on the main street! Plus, I had a coupon for a second person free, so I made a reservation.

For dinner, we had a buffet featuring a whole roasted pig. They brought it right in front of us, which was quite impressive! We enjoyed our meal while watching live ukulele music and hula dancing. The one-drink service was also a nice touch.

After enjoying quite a bit of hula, the show began. The professional performance from the stage was truly wonderful. We were seated in the second floor, but it was very close, which was great.

The dancing by Elvis and Michael was a highlight! Personally, I found the fire dance to be the most entertaining. ^ ^

夜ご飯のビュッフェは豚の丸焼き。
目の前まで持ってきてくれたので迫力満点！
生のウクレレとフラダンスを見ながらの夕食。
ワンドリンクサービスも嬉しかったです。　
もうフラをだいぶ堪能してからのショー。
でもやはり舞台からの本格的なショーは素敵でした。
2階席からでしたが、とても近くてよかったです。
エルビスとマイケルのキレキレダンスは見ものでした！
個人的にはファイヤーダンスが1番面白かったです^ ^
