I was a bit anxious because there were mostly foreign participants and few Japanese attendees, but it was great that the luau buffet menu had Japanese descriptions. I was able to enjoy various Hawaiian dishes. A welcome drink was included, but any additional orders would incur extra charges. The roast beef and pork dishes were carved right in front of us. There were also desserts. Even from the second-floor seating, the show was very visible, but since both the show and buffet prioritize VIPs, I thought it might be worth paying for that. The impersonations, hula, and fire dance were incredibly powerful and exciting, and I was glad to participate and feel the essence of Hawaii.

As a first time visitor to Hawaii, this 7 hour tour of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor covered everything I was hoping for. Our guide Finny was extremely knowledgable and courteous. The first part of the tour focused on the history of the islands, the culture prior the American annexation and the impact of our occupation on the people and their culture. In addition to taking us to many historical sites, Finny pointed out some familiar Hawaii 50 filming locations and the harbor where the Gilligan's Island 3 hour tour started. The 2nd part of the tour was Pearl Harbor. The visit included dedicated tickets to the USS Arizona Memorial (where the war started) and the USS Missouri Battleship (where the Japanese surrendered to General MacArthur. Finny pointed out many interesting details of the attack and some of the heroes of the day, that I was not previously aware of. The visit was a very moving and memorable experience.
Security does not allow you to enter the base with any back packs or bags. You can carry small items like cell phones and a water bottle. Storage lockers are available.
I highly recommend this tour for first time visitors to Pearl Harbor and Honolulu.
I participated once before the COVID-19 pandemic and had a very valuable experience, so I joined again after about three years! On the day I participated, the wind was strong and the waves were high, which reduced the water's clarity. As a result, when the honu dove, it quickly became hard to see them, and I didn't spot them as often as during my previous visit. However, I was able to see a few honu, and just as I was about to head back to the boat, I spotted a large pod of dolphins in the distance. One of them jumped high like in a dolphin show, and I was so excited! Just when I thought the excitement couldn't get any better, the pod of dolphins started swimming towards us, and in the end, I was able to swim with the dolphins too! It was the best experience to encounter both honu and dolphins!

Overall I enjoyed the ferry ride to and from Lanai Island. There was limited seating outdoors and I wasn’t comfortable with COVID sitting inside. It was great though, that we were able to walk around during the ride.
This was such a fun snorkeling tour!! Food was delicious and the entertainment was on point. Natalie treated our family so well. Will definitely re book the next time we make another trip to Honolulu.
